reading another post about the recurring qualities of famous people they're into got me into unpacking my own preferences. and I guess it's like:

striking eyes. arguably The biggest factor. I can't quite describe exactly what it is, but typically what draws me to someone most is having some mesmerising quality of sparkly/big/bulging/just kinda pretty eyes. usually brown to black (hair too), but not really a dealbreaker if not, there's definitely some lighter-eyed guys I like.

related to that, they have to have the scariest/menacing resting face but completely opposite personality. shoebill of a man. if he looks like he's trying to blow someone up with his mind but is just a goofy (!!) sweetheart I want him. EVEN better if they have a creepy/morbid sense of humour.

I like when they take opportunities in interviews and stuff to geek out about some interest they have. passion is an attractive quality in a person, I think everyone can agree. it's endearing, it's cute. just let someone promote through infodumping for 4 paragraphs instead of asking them the same questions they've answered dozens of times before. no I don't care that these promotions are intended to be entr-level accessible news to people who reasonably haven't absorbed every bit of information.

they're like. 50+. there's some younger exceptions in there for sure (assad z.aman), but it's Very rare that I like someone closer to my own age, and definitely not under. people's facial features have always just been more attractive to me as they age.

the schlubbiest little wardrobe. like, I don't know what it is, but the charisma of pulling off the most casually unassuming hoodies, shirts, and sweaters is really attractive to me. looking stylish yet utterly comfortable. maybe this is a visual sensory thing lmao. yeah, absolutely no famous-person-with-money-presentation about them.

all the people I like have very thick jawlines/chins and wide mouths I've noticed? usually with deep laughter lines/jowls. I can't think of a non-insulting way to say "face that would translate really well to a muppet". the average person I like just looks like don music.

What do you think Silco would do if he found out, years later/during Act 2, that a fling he had when he was alot younger and dumber, resulted in him having a Son/Gender neutral child living in Piltover?

(how this is discovered can be completely up to you)

Would the angst of them being a Piltovian(?) citizen permanently leave their relationship undefined or would he push away his hatred of Piltover and try and meet them?

Better yet, how would Jinx react to this?

Just a bit of potential angst to spice things up I guess haha.

Silco receives a curious letter from a Piltie boy claiming to be his son. Spurred by lingering bitterness and unresolved anger, Silco visits Topside for answers and to finally speak his mind to the woman who left him so many years ago.

Dear Mr. Silco,

I'm not exactly sure how even to begin this letter, so I’ll start with the part that is most relevant to you:

I am your son.

I know, I didn't believe it at first either. But if you keep reading, I can tell you how that happened.

My mother was a brilliant woman, born and raised here in Piltover. She was the top of her class and an artist. My grandparents tell me that, in her university days, she had a bit of a rebellious streak. She ran away from home to live in the Undercity. Over the course of a summer there, she met a man. And fell in love.

You probably know more about how the rest of this story goes than me.

After that summer, my mom had a change of heart. She returned home with a new bundle in tow: me. And while she never told me, I assume she left the Undercity in order to raise me here.

But you probably don’t care about all that. You just want to know why I’m writing to you. 

Well, first off: I'm not asking for money. My mom (and grandparents) provided for me and I have a comfortable life here in Piltover. 

I don't want anything from you. Not really. I wrote because… well… My mother died recently. It's actually how I found out about you. My birth was a closely guarded secret and it was only when I was cleaning her stuff out after her death that I learned. She had a box of things from her time with you: a diary, some photographs, a bracelet. I thought you might want them.

Junip had been doing his own sort of investigation on the odd happenings around the game.. but not the kind others would expect.

One of the individuals trapped here, Scribbles- had caught his attention. She was rather loud and annoying.. and often bothered him with her nonsense. But.. he didn't exactly hate her company.

The thing about Scribbles though- is that something odd would happen whenever She was around. She'd tend to get quiet randomly, her face would get distorted for a moment whenever someone would get a lead on the murder, and she'd always avoid questions or give vague answers when confronted..

Something was definitely off about her. But it's impossible for her to be the killer- She just got here! Still.. it's a bit odd.. with the way she's been acting, she has to be hiding SOMETHING.

So a bit of investigation wouldn't hurt... would it?

So far nothing seemed far out of the ordinary. Her gear.. her sleeping bag nest thing she sleeps in- Even her backup scarf. All pretty harmless things. But after a bit of messing around in the mess known as her bed- Junip noticed something hidden beneath the blankets.. a Book? A sketchbook from the looks of it.

Once he had managed to sneak into Scribbles Tent, he decided to do a little snooping. She shouldn't be back for a while anyways since she had went off with Pomni & Caine to follow a lead pointing to Jax this time. Since she was smitten with him she's bound to linger.

It's not like it's her diary or anything so it wouldn't hurt to peak a little. He didn't know she liked to draw.

It all seemed harmless enough and didn't seem to be of much bother- Untill noticed something. Hold on.. half of these pages have little corners folded onto eachother.. the pages were sticking.

He flipped through the pictures, letting out a snort at the ridiculous faces she would draw and the sketches of the others.. and quite a few of Jax. Someone has a crush, obviously. But hey, that's not his business. Oh man.. there are even some sketches of him. His eyes aren't that big.

One was Scribbles Handwriting.. the other was someone elses... and what it said made Junip get VERY concerned..!

After a bit of careful separation, there was a bit of Green goo on the pages. Plus the paper inside wasn't sized correctly- like it was just stuck inside the book. There was also some writing on the pages.. two different handwritings.

'They're getting too Close to figuring things out. I thought you said you can handle it.'

'I-Im trying.. Please-! Just give me one More chance..! Please don't make me-'

'I've give you plenty of chances- and yet they still manage to get closer. I'm sorry, but I can't get caught now. it's time for you to do what I brought here you for.'

'Please don't- I..!'

' Do you understand?'

'....Yes.. as you command. I will remove them.'

' Good girl.'

"R-Remove them!?"

Junip's face grew paler- if that was even possible. Remove them!? Scribbles.. Is in cahoots with the killer!? What's going on!?

Judging by the frantic and messy Handwriting, Scribbles was clearly in distress when she was writing.. but- the fact that it suddenly changed to a more neater and proper Handwriting was unnerving.

And she's alone with Pomni & Caine RIGHT NOW.

Hold on. She said she was going to Remove them.

Oh no.

OH NO NO NONO NO-! HES GOT TO WARN THEM!!

He wasted no time. With the sketchbook underneath his arm he burst from Scribbles tent and started off running towards the last place he saw them heading.

He just prayed he wasn't too late...!

(fuck this book drags compared to book one)

• "Niklaus Fendyr, the first of the Fendyr line." What in the Vampire Diaries crossover is going on here? 😂

• Juniper is being such a bitch, like...you were not going to get anywhere without someone powerful saying something for you, that's obviously what happened for little miss 'promoted in two years'. We were literally just told everyone knows you're the best and now you're claiming people are too dumb to see the difference between talent and nepotism? Shhhh!

• Also, Fury you can shut up too, you literally dropped off the face of the earth for two fucking years, you're in negative friendship points still 🖐

• AND DON'T START ME ABOUT DANIKA! Every SJM heroine is comically bad at picking friends, seriously. Like Nesta did it best and it was basically against her damn will!

• CASE IN POINT!!! Baxian is the best, stop being mean to him. "I want in." He's not talking about your little rebellion, he wants to be friends 😭😭 he's just a babyyy

• Lidia literally tossed a white stone down and then the merpeople magically appeared. Put 2+2 together to get four Hunt you dumb fuck. That's going to be embarrassing if I'm wrong.

• This whole Sophie and Emil thing appears to have been so fucking pointless which is really annoying because this book is so fucking long 💀

• I like a smutty book as much as the next person, but honestly...this is just intolerable. Hunt and Bryce are like two horny children having sex every five seconds and maybe it's just that I don't find them compelling as a couple, or him as a person, but I need some decent PLOT. You can't coast by on sex and blowjobs and cunnilingus alone, babe 😭

• I'd rather read a whole book about the frat house than this to be perfectly honest.

• Bryce stop complaining about douchey-dad changing your name, just be glad he didn't show up to tell you he has cameras in his fucking library, because that's what I thought was going to happen.

I'll stick this out I guess, because we're already here, but like...fucking hell I'm over this book. Please tell me it gets better...soon. Is this subplot (phoenix chick) even relevant at all in the end or could we have just removed about 200 pages and made the whole thing more tolerable? This is an SOS 🥴

I'm not listening to anyone who claims ACOTAR isn't her best series ever again, honestly. Been there, done it, read them, bought the postcards. Sure the world building in it is her weakest but in overall readability and enjoyment factor if you're a romantasy fan, ACOTAR wins out every day of the week.
