I’m laughing so hard at the Brycriel shippers on tiktok trying so hard to sell Bryce and Az being mates to anyone who will listen like the book doesn’t come out in 2 weeks and it won’t matter how many people ship them together. I don’t think SJM is gonna recall the Crescent City Hofas to erase Bryce and Hunt’s epic love story just cause some people want Bryce to be mates with Az for whatever reason.

I was on Bloomsbury's Instagram page looking for the video of them printing House of Flame and Shadow, and I guess I went too far cause I happened upon THAT video of House of Sky and Breath(iykyk).

I saw a comment under the video that really just.... it annoyed me so much, and I need to address it. But little me is too anxiety ridden, I can't reply to the person directly because the comment was eighteen weeks ago.

So I'm addressing their comment here! Okay.

I HALF WAY agree when they say, "Anything over a year is fair game." While this statement is true, that would only be for the general public.

A publishing house shouldn't spoil something this big as they are a company whose primary focus is always going to be on the $$. They should want people buying different books and series.

Not to mention, this is book TWO of this series. So people who haven't started this series yet see this video and spoiler might taint the rest of the series leading up to this part, as they just want to see Rhys, given ACOTAR is(arguably) Sarah's most popular series.

There's a reason everyone has fought so hard to keep the books spoilers(this spoiler, especially) so tightly guarded behind big shiny spoiler warnings. Just like the TOG one. It's best experienced yourself, not spoiled.

What Bloomsbury did here is equivalent to when people would shout out that Dumbledore died after Half Blood Prince came out just to ruin people's reading experience.

I can understand someone from the general public, a "fan" doing this. It would still be a shitty thing to do, but it makes more sense. But Bloomsbury? This was a very bad business move on their part, as they, being a business first, try to sell books to get $$.

So yes. I HALF agree with the comment above. But that doesn't mean I think it's right.

No one should be spoiled for something they enjoy(or could potentially enjoy). It's why everyone around uses(or should use) spoiler warnings.

I just finished House of Sky and Breath, and while it was good, I’m super pissed, BECAUSE...

everyone told me to read CC and ToG because “they all tied together” (including ACOTAR) and so once I read about the Horn’s power I was like, oh, Bryce is going to get tangled up with Rhysand at the least, if not Feyre too. 

AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. THAT IS A MAJOR FUCKING SPOILER PEOPLE. Don’t tell people who haven’t read the series that they all cross over because then you’re just spoiling the greatest mindfuck ever. Like, I spent the whole of book two going, okay okay, where’s Rhys now?

Ugggghhhh. Still loved it though. Just angry that people spoiled it for me. I HATE SPOILERS.

(fuck this book drags compared to book one)

• "Niklaus Fendyr, the first of the Fendyr line." What in the Vampire Diaries crossover is going on here? 😂

• Juniper is being such a bitch, like...you were not going to get anywhere without someone powerful saying something for you, that's obviously what happened for little miss 'promoted in two years'. We were literally just told everyone knows you're the best and now you're claiming people are too dumb to see the difference between talent and nepotism? Shhhh!

• Also, Fury you can shut up too, you literally dropped off the face of the earth for two fucking years, you're in negative friendship points still 🖐

• AND DON'T START ME ABOUT DANIKA! Every SJM heroine is comically bad at picking friends, seriously. Like Nesta did it best and it was basically against her damn will!

• CASE IN POINT!!! Baxian is the best, stop being mean to him. "I want in." He's not talking about your little rebellion, he wants to be friends 😭😭 he's just a babyyy

• Lidia literally tossed a white stone down and then the merpeople magically appeared. Put 2+2 together to get four Hunt you dumb fuck. That's going to be embarrassing if I'm wrong.

• This whole Sophie and Emil thing appears to have been so fucking pointless which is really annoying because this book is so fucking long 💀

• I like a smutty book as much as the next person, but honestly...this is just intolerable. Hunt and Bryce are like two horny children having sex every five seconds and maybe it's just that I don't find them compelling as a couple, or him as a person, but I need some decent PLOT. You can't coast by on sex and blowjobs and cunnilingus alone, babe 😭

• I'd rather read a whole book about the frat house than this to be perfectly honest.

• Bryce stop complaining about douchey-dad changing your name, just be glad he didn't show up to tell you he has cameras in his fucking library, because that's what I thought was going to happen.

I'll stick this out I guess, because we're already here, but like...fucking hell I'm over this book. Please tell me it gets better...soon. Is this subplot (phoenix chick) even relevant at all in the end or could we have just removed about 200 pages and made the whole thing more tolerable? This is an SOS 🥴

I'm not listening to anyone who claims ACOTAR isn't her best series ever again, honestly. Been there, done it, read them, bought the postcards. Sure the world building in it is her weakest but in overall readability and enjoyment factor if you're a romantasy fan, ACOTAR wins out every day of the week.
