i just recently hit 10k likes and lost my shit over it qwq;; i was overthinking a lot, i wanted to run away, and it kinda hit me because honestly, i don't think i deserve all this ;; like i'm just being silly on here and having fun ;;

but that aside, i have been thinking how to properly say thank you, since words are really hard for me (wow big shocker ikr lmao) but i realized it's thanks giving, despite me not being from america i saw all the love today and i thought maybe i can try, this time, to put it to words. so, idk how to start this, i honestly quit art for good like 4 years ago, won't comment on it but this year i tried to pick it back up. i am so scared of people, especially online but i thought why not, so i made a lil acc on here, i wanna say i'm so lucky to have met you all and seeing people like my art, seriously it's what keeps me going. I love Lily so much, since dying my hair ginger one of my favourite comments I get on tiktok is people saying I look like how they picture Lily which is the biggest compliment. I hc Lily as being bi and currently my favourite person to ship her with is Pandora but I have Chappell Roan related plans to write a one-shot of MaryLily. Lily's favourite flowers are daisies and angel's breath and you can find them in her hair during the summer. She loves to read either by the fire when it's cold or under a tree in the park in July. She's an omnivert and enjoys quiet study sessions with Remus where they don't have to talk but also is very happy to be dragged up to do karaoke with Mary and Marlene. Her favourite colour is sage green because it brings out her freckles and her favourite season is spring because she says "the air just smells different". Also plus-size Lily all the way!

Mary

Mary is a girl's girl. She is the one who teaches the younger students how to do their makeup and and is the chief hair braider. She has a diary the whole way through school and she writes all of her juiciest secrets in there because she knows all the gossip about everyone and keeps them all in the bottom of her trunk. Her favourite song would either be Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac or Does Your Mother Know by ABBA. She is the biggest flirt with everybody and the real Casanova of Gryffindor Tower. Her signature lip gloss is cherry scented and everyone is the group has had at least one kiss on the cheek from her which has left a pinky-red lip gloss mark there. If I was going to assign a fc for her it would be Rachel Chinouriri, I think she's so beautiful and the Mary vibes are just there.

Marlene

Marlene being from Manchester is so real for me. She grew up supporting Manchester United and went to the matches with her dad. She is the masc lesbian of my dreams (I saw someone who looked like her once and I might have fell a little bit in love) and they own the wolfcut. Marls can be sighted wearing a little top (baby tee/ tight crop top) and big pants (literally the baggiest jeans you have ever seen). When Chelsea Dagger by The Fratellis comes on, she is singing the loudest. Marlene never came out, everyone just knew they are gay and when they got their first girlfriend everyone just shrugged and was like "cool". Marlene uses she/they pronouns and will punch anyone in the dick if they are mean to her friends. She absolutely adores Dorcas and is like "my girlfriend" at any opportunity. You can catch Marlene dancing along to Seventeen Going Under by Sam Fender because "he just gets me", she she will insist he is the only man she could ever love just to annoy the Marauders boys.

Pandora

My Ravenclaw girliiieeee!! If you couldn't tell, Pandora has really grown on me recently and I am slowly working up to writing a fic where she is in the main ship. Pandora being a Ravenclaw like Luna is so important to me and I hc her as a Rosier and is Evan's twin when I write her, but not the way that people normally write them. Pandora is very adamant that she is her own person and there is more to her than being a twin. She loves her experiments which we know from canon, she would have loved watching How Its Made (the tv show), and was that kid who would take things apart to see how they work. She collects insects like butterflies, moths and beetles and keeps them in a display in her room and has pet stick insects that she loves to freak people out with. Pandora would LOVE Paris Paloma, she's vibing with Labour and Notre Dame and The Fruits. Although I said I love shipping Lily with Pandora, Xenophilius and Pandora (xenodora) have my heart, I love them, they are my favourite straight-presenting queer couple. I think they chose the surname Lovegood when they got married (I hc Xeno as a disowned Malfoy) which I know a few people hc. I could talk about Pandora forever but I will move on.

Dorcas

Last but not least, Dorcas! She's the kind of girl who calls everyone babydoll (Barty loves it). She's such an it-girl and would be the person you see on Instagram posing in front of the houses in Kensington with her iced coffee. Dorcas is taalllll and has legs for days, models should be glad she decided to stick to being the office siren. Her favourite hobbies are judgingly people watching in the window seat of coffee shops, and taming her girlfriend to stop them from trying to fight everyone who looks at the two of them funny. Everyone thinks Dorcas hates them at first (even Marlene who spend months thinking Dorcas was rebuffing her advances), but she just looks at everyone like that, she shows her love by being mean. Dorcas loves to listen to Rina Sawayama, her favourite song is STFU!

I never feel stable.

so basically, ever other month my mood switches up but I still get weird mood swings in between (if that makes sense).

I became really depressed in January of this year. Then in February, I started getting psychosis and it felt like I was in a manic state. Then in March, I became really depressed again.

Between February and April, my family had brought a new house so I had to move away from my two irl FPs and it hit hard.

In April, I went into the manic like state again, but it was really bad. I started hallucinating again and was super fucking anxious out of my mind.

Then in May, I started my new school, which made me kind of depressed again, but I felt slightly stable..I guess.

Yadda yadda then it’s June and I start getting weird again. It’s more bad and I stay up for hours at night, start yapping to my mom out of nowhere and keep laughing nonstop. More euphoric..hallucinating some, but not as bad as the other times.

Now it’s July, and idk. I feel mixed, but more sad now. I’m not even on my period and I’m super emotional rn.

Please, if anyone can give me advice or suggestions on what this may be, please tell me. I don’t understand what is going on. I’m so embarrassed by the way I act and I feel ashamed.

(Btw my bio mom was Bipolar and after doing some research, BD usually starts showing up in teen years, and it’s usually passed down from your family. I also don’t know the difference between mental illness mood swings and stuff and hormone stuff so if anyone knows the difference and can explain to me, please let me know.)

Polyamory In The Sims 4?!

Anyone who knows me personally knows that I have been a Sims lover since I was a wee child but specifically, the Sims 4. I've been playing it for YEARS and just recently downloaded my first mod which just so happens to be a Sims 4 essential. If you play the Sims 4, you know I'm talking about the MC Command Center.

BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT I AM HERE TO TALK ABOUT TODAY!! About a month ago, I discovered a mod that would allow polyamorous relationships in the Sims since the base game (at least up until now) didn't allow that.

HOWEVER, with the announcement and NEW TRAILER of the newest pack, "Lovestruck" coming out on JULY 25TH, THAT SEEMS TO BE CHANGING! I even have a screenshot from the OFFICIAL ARTICLE!

"It's just a game, it's not even that serious" Yes. I am aware it is just a game. However, it's also a very popular game that many people (including myself) still play to this day despite it being almost 10 years old. It's a game made by a VERY BIG game company (Electronic Arts or EA for short) that knows what makes or breaks a game (as we've seen with EA's Star Wars Battlefront 2.)

Hopefully, this will start opening some eyes and get us all one step closer to normalizing and defeating the stigma against polyamory. Maybe I'm thinking too much about it. Maybe it will be different when the pack actually comes out.

But aside from that incredible step, there are definitely other things in this pack that I am looking forward to. WE HAVE A CANON DATING APP NOW!! SimDa, I love you and you've done your due diligence. BUT THE WAY THE SIMS 4 COMMUNITY HAS BEEN ASKING FOR A DATING APP FROM THIS DAMN COMPANY FOR SO LONG AND WE FINALLY GET IT?!

However, I am probably going to give it a while before I actually get the pack (after release of course) because there is this whole thing with bugs and patches that happens when the packs first come out and the game just doesn't run right. I want to give the pack a chance in its entirety so I'll probably let people complain first and wait for the bugs to fix to really give it a shot.

BUT AHHHHH, I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THESE NEW POSSIBILITIES! Definitely going to be sending this short essay to my partners later so AD, if you've made it this far in my little yap session, I love you both so much and once I get this pack, I'm so making us in the Sims <3

all the good things that happened to me this year! okkiee let's do this month wise perhaps (i shall try to keep it chronological for the added nostalgic trip for me)

january- started this year at home with my bestie @philosophical-cup and i drinking hot chocolate at a cafe from my hometown, went on a trip with my best friend/musical soulmate- a trip of a lifetime it will always make me remind of how we were girls together, progressing with my bachelors thesis, taking a bomb ass course on milton with the best classmates, went to a book fair with my another very close friend and made ketchup smileys on garlic bread (very close to me that was!) (postgrad application stress was not fun but we made it through)

february was about art museum trips with so many friends, writing a cool essay on the good place, it was the homecoming of dee and just nights spent drinking boost and doing nyt games and gossiping while trying to make the most of undergrad ending along with the happiness of getting into unis in europe for masters but the confusion of picking out the one that suited me the best financially and academically

march was beach and clubbing days, it was filled with so much love and warmth and a treasure hunt where we ran around the whole campus only to be second place and then cooling ourselves in the common room with milkshakes and barely functioning ac, wrote another cool article on girldinner in horror

april was about endings, sad gutwrenching crying in the train endings, it was when i successfully defended my thesis but had to say bye to my beloved friends i made for the lifetime, it was college ending but getting great fucking results academically, also came out to my mom as bi after she discovered my vibrator(she ended up being in denial but who cares a great story)

may was just being at home and burnt out, dilly dallying with my hobbies, watching lot of movies and going out with my besties, sleepover with @phoolsified-chaos and virtual kisses on my thesis by @jonessetcups, 8 hour call with musical soulmate, it was also yoga days god i actually would start liking it

june was meeting my college family again for the last time it was about drinking ban over the whole city but good fucking food and even better fucking yap sessions, i graduated in june babyyy!!! i gave the speech as valedictorian woohooo and then a beautiful gorgeous eye cleansing family trip in the hill stations, also we won the cricket world cup the joy of watching that

july was learning how to make food and experimenting with some recipes

august oh august was growing pains of moving to another country, catching a local in mumbai, picking up crocheting and well more cooking

september was painful but i also moved to another continent for the first time, started studying the program i wanted to and met the loml- it would be the most hilarious and the most meaningful love stories of all time

october was fall, birthday month and amsterdam and going on dates with my boyfriend and kissing god so much kissing and gorgeous sex but the best cuddles (that'd be the reccurring theme for the rest of the year tho but not like sex even matters to me now just like ugh it is the love that feels so earth shattering)

november was realizing i am making good friends and attending their bdays, there is queer joy everywhere but i am so angry at the bi erasure, trying my best to eat healthy, wrote a poem after a gazillion years about how it feels like to be in love and just sheer domestic bliss at a shared home

december is cold and harsh and tiring but oh fuck the year is ending and christmas markets are cute, french villages are also slightly cute, riding on carousels with new friends to reminisce your childhood is a core memory, i am trying to be a plant mom, i gave my boyfriend a crochet teddy as an early present (excuse to give him gifts) and he got me a sweater, we are travelling to another country soon

in all this, i have realized not only i had the best year in a long long long time but also i have so much time to be who i want to be i have made friends from all ages in 20s-30s and the fear of time slipping by or doing things as scheduled has gone because there is just so much to learn, so much to love just feeling very grateful and blessed about the people who i have in my life and how they have stayed and nurtured me throughout everything
