he kind of lives in the best place to get away w murder tbh. bunch of brass blades who dont care who's bleeding out on the cobbles unless it starts affecting property values, a city full of disposable ppl that can be hired or made to do risky jobs, money slid across the right counters for no questions asked. allen compartmentalizes p well for someone who's thinking abt the cruelty of like, slavery wages, while pulling a knife out at the right angle so an artery doesn't start spraying everywhere. allen isnt stupid enough to make murder a common task, but he likes when things are done Correctly so he'll do them himself (and/or jorge will) if he must.

16. What is your OC's pain tolerance like?

I would say higher than average but allen would say its low. for ex, his one eye is damaged from aether poisoning so it doesnt work well. occasionally his other eye acts up. he's Convinced he'll go blind one day, and he worships that anxiety until his eyes go blurry more often than they really ought to. he's annoyed by that frailty. at the same time, allen's the type of person who would like, get stabbed in the arm, shoot the person who did it, and resume his meeting like 'ok where were we. i can deal w this after we reach an accord bc ive waiting too long for this convo.' possibly he's running on a weird energy cocktail from kassem that's breaking down panic and pain connections in his brain lol
