The way that he basically started this live solely to talk about/focus on Jimin? Like sir, what were we even here for? Just to watch you support your boo? I'm actually totally fine with that. Lmao he talked about himself and his CK deal for like 10 minutes before moving on to Jimin and Jimin only. Lol he said "I Miss Jimin" literally, on weverse and then proceeded to show us just how much he missed him!

I haven’t watched the episodes yet, but I asked my friend (who has absolutely zero knowledge of BTS or kpop, I’m talking literally does not even listen to pop music. She’s a lesbian from the deep South who only likes rap music.) what she would do if her girlfriend went on a trip with her friend, and she saw them like this:

So I’m not saying Jimin and JK are dating, but together, they look like what they look like. Which is far more intimate than average best friends.

Before Jimin sits next to Jungkook, he looks composed but somewhat serious or detached. Almost like he's passively existing in the moment. He's physically present but not necessarily expressive.

After Jimin sits next to Jungkook his whole demeanor changes instantly. His posture becomes more relaxed, his facial expressions become livelier and there's an unmissable light in his eyes. Its like a silent but obvious Oh, you're here! moment.

This is more fascinating and interesting because it is a natural, unconscious reaction. The fact that his expression changes so naturally and effortlessly suggests that Jimin genuinely affects his mood.

We all have people who make us feel instantly at ease. The way Jungkook responds to Jimin's presence is so automatic that it feels deeply ingrained. It suggests that Jimin is a personal source of comfort for him. Jimin brings out a side of Jungkook that is warm, free and full of joy.

Sometimes the strongest bonds don't need words. The way his body language adjusts and how his face softens says a lot. Its in the subtle details that you see the real connection.

This isn't an isolated incident. There have been multiple instances where Jungkook's mood or energy seems to brighten around Jimin.

Why would he say this?

Surely he's been on many trips. Even in 2023 apart from those trips for AYS with Jimin he went on other trips with his friends. So why would he say the trips for AYS were the best?

Because it was with Jimin. That's what made it the best experience for him. Traveling and exploring with his bf.

Its for this same reason we get to see a shift in Jungkook's demeanor after the seat switch in MMA 2018.

Jungkook is naturally close with all the BTS members and he has many other friendships outside of BTS but there's no denying there's something unique and deep about the way he interacts with Jimin.

We have seen how even in group settings Jungkook often ends up near Jimin. Whether its at award shows, interviews or casual moments he naturally gravitates to Jimin.

Jungkook is affectionate with all the members but his level of touchiness and physical comfort with Jimin is distinct. He often leans on Jimin, seeks out hugs or casual touches. He is protective around Jimin, loves to cook for him and doesn't hesitate to show his emotions openly when they're together.

If it weren't for Jimin I don't think we would have gotten to see Jungkook's naturally uninhibited, warm, affectionate and romantic side.

Are you sure?! Episode 6 - Sapporo

Jikook being all sentimental.

This is not the first time they were in Sapporo. JM was talking about six or seven years ago, while this came to mind straight away:

Sapporo snow festival February 2016.

One of those probably memorable moments.

This is such a young Jikook, this being one of the first louder JK moments at the time.

I'm sure they created some beautiful memories there. None as beautiful as the ones they created in Tokyo though.

That was theirs, and that is also why we don't get to share any of their Tokyo time in 2024. That is theirs and theirs alone. And yes, I know that JK was working part of their time in Tokyo, but see, if they weren't intending on spending time together, JM could easily have joined him a few days later. But he didn't.

Them sitting there on that sofa and talking about the show, btw, was filmed most likely at the end of their trip, just before leaving for the airport and home.

This is them leaving Sapporo.

28 November 2023. Basically 2 weeks before they enlisted. Them sitting down, at the very end of their last trip before enlistment. Understandably emotions would be heightened. And that trademarked move of JK's...

Moving on to their arrival in Sapporo.

Ok, so as I mentioned in my Jeju posts, I saw a clear shift in JK in Jeju. Lighter. A weight lifted off his shoulders. He was the same here, even more so. But the one I wanted to talk about was JM. Because I felt like here, in Sapporo, is where we see that same shift in him. In CT he was sick but content to be with JK. In Jeju he was happy but still felt a little distant (not from JK but not allowing himself to fully let go), less touchy feely with JK, like he was holding back (with all of the shifty cheeky behaviour that was going on he still felt like he was holding back). But here, he's just all in. He's handsy and touchy feely, and talkative. So so talkative. I won't lie, I was a little shocked. In the best way possible. This was a side of JM we didn't get to see for such a long time. Free. Open. Some of the conversations they had, and some of the things JM talked about, never in 100 years would I have thought he would bring them up on his own accord and share his thoughts with us about them.

This one for example:

JM talking about this so openly. JK's reaction or lack thereof makes me feel like this wasn't the first time the subject came up with the two of them.

Not to say that I don't think that JK was taken aback by JM bringing it up there and then. His initial reaction was not stressed but maybe a little worried?

But with saying that, imo this is not the first time he's heard this. And the maybe a little worry is not about the subject and more about the timing of the convo.

Happiness.

That is what I see.

Even when having this conversation, which is not an easy one to have for the two of them.

Remember how the subject of being married with children came up during Festa 2020? Remember how the two stayed conspicuously silent on the matter?

And yet, JM brought it up there and then, openly, with a smile on his face, his hand not leaving JK's shoulder for one second during this whole convo.

All and all it was just so heartwarming to see them throughout the whole episode. Like I said, they just looked happy. To be there, together, with each other, making new memories to take with them for the next couple of years.

Back to them arriving in Hokkaido, can someone please explain to me why JK found the need to change that camera angle to show us JM's hand on him?

Honestly, even if JK was as slick as he thinks he is, Jikook would still be given away by the way the other five react to them. It’s so funny, because the reactions are almost always the same:

1. Namjoon - panic

2. Jin - sometimes amused, sometimes annoyed, depending on the nature of the jikooking going on

3. Suga - tolerant third-wheeling

4. J-Hope - proud cheesing

5. Tae - indifference with his blank face, which Jimin has said is Tae’s expression when he’s trying to keep someone else’s secret. Hmm....

I love these guys, all seven of them. They’re never anything but themselves.

i've seen sooooo many videos of bts where they'd be just doing whatever but one look at jikook and i'll immediately notice they're different. like jungkook especially is a fucking open book it's hilarious; his body language is so damn transparent it's painful sometimes. if bts are all sitting for example, just look for jungkook, where is he? is he sitting next jimin? dan expected. is he not sitting next to jimin? then his body must be fully turned towards jimin AND you'll see him being so fidgety like he's itching to move and go to where jimin is.

Yes, you are so right! The difference is just so obvious. As clear as day. Jungkook really is an open book, now not as much as in the past, but still. In 2015 his crush on Jimin was painfully obvious, he couldn’t help it.

It’s the infamous flop palm pushing game where seokjin interrupts them to ask ‘are you two together/a couple?’

I just wanted to clarify what the exact thing that seokjin said to them was. Did he explicitly ask ‘are you two a couple?’ which is pretty straightforward or, does he say ‘are you two together?’

I’m not sure if ‘being together’ has the same romantic connotations in Korean as it does in English. I interpreted it as him asking ‘are you guys together (on the same team)?, almost as if he was commenting ‘you’re not on the same team so, why are you acting all buddy-buddy?’

But, if the comment did mean that and it really wasn’t that deep, why did they have that crazy, bashful reaction🙃?

Ofc ‘are you a couple?’ Is pretty criminalising. It seems out of the blue to point that out if there wasn’t some sort of innuendo behind it.

I think it's pretty obvious what Seokjin meant with that question. Jikook were acting like blushing high-schoolers, giggling as they stared into each other's eyes. I think a lot of us- including jinnie- saw that behavior and went 'wtf' LMAOO
