(J)....Japanese word / pint of beer = ¥250 yeeees! now 1$=¥136, you can drink for less than $2 !!! the beer [ (J) Ichiban Shibori (maker is KIRIN) ] is made by malt and hops only. 3rd picture In Japanese izakaya, recommended menus are posted on the wall like this. from right side / (J) AGE NIN NIKU = ¥100 AGE = Fried NINNIKU = garlic A small garlic, but there is one bunch. It's wonderfu l!!! / (J) AJI FRAI = ¥100 AJI = Japanese horse mackerel, FRAI = fried This is another well-known dish in Japan. One fish is cut open and deep-fried. and 4th picture (J) GYUUNIKU TATAKI ¥250 GYUUNIKU = beef TATAKI = lightly roasted cook Many customers order this. However, a caution is in order! It will be served around 1:00 p.m. and It's gone in 2 hours. You're tempted to go, aren't you? I could go on and on about this restaurant, but that's all for today. and more one caution! This restaurant [ SHOMIN ] haven't menu except Japanese. If you would like to go to SHOMIN, you should got Japanese friend. call me?!?! hahaha! SHOMIN is located in the following areas. TEMMA, KYOBASHI, MINAMIKATA, JUSO, and OSAKA EKIMAE BUILDING (a front of Osaka station) OSAKA EKIMAE BUILDING are Four exist. called 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th EKIMAE BUILDING and it is present in every one of them. and ALL MONDAY IS OFF DAY!caution! Let's go SHOMIN !!!

Western locations, such as cafés and beer halls, were then all the rage in Japan and often employed young fashionable women as headliners.

Her attire here is inspired by a real meisen weave kimono from the Kiryuu Masako collection, which is featured in an exposition at the Yayoi Museum.

カッパカントリーと大倉記念館

前記事の続きです。京都の伏見桃山エリアには、昔から有名な酒蔵があり、お酒にちなんだ施設があります。

中でも人気なのが、黄桜のカッパカントリーと月桂冠の大倉記念館です。

まずは、カッパカントリーから。

日本の昭和時代を知ってる人なら「黄桜＝カッパ」と、すんなり結びつくはず。

酒造メーカーの黄桜は、1955年（昭和30年）に広報用キャラクターとして、「カッパ」を起用。

テレビCM開始が、2年後の1957年(昭和32年)だそうです。

私は昭和51年生まれ。

子供の頃に、黄桜のCMにカッパが出ていた事はなんとなく覚えてます。

カッパカントリーは、黄桜直営のレストラン。

結構大きいです。

黄桜のお酒や麦酒、それにあう和食、おつまみなどを堪能できます。

メニューも貼ってありました♪

隣に、麦酒工房があり、麦酒の方が推しのようです。

出来立ての地ビールが飲めるそうです🍺

そういえば、数ヶ月前にコンビニかどこかで、黄桜のビールを見つけて飲みましたね。

私の中では、黄桜と言うと、日本酒のイメージが強いのでビールがあるのが意外でしたが、そうでもないのですね。

向かい側には、黄桜の歴史がわかる記念館もありました。

そして、月桂冠の大倉記念館。

月桂冠をはじめ、京都伏見のお酒造りの歴史や技がわかる博物館です。

黄桜のカッパカントリーのような飲食エリアはありませんが、お酒の味見ができるところはあるようです☺️

ここは、結構人が出入りしていて、写真があまり撮れませんでしたが

また、中に入って見学した時に写真撮ります。

近くには、月桂冠の本社？もありました。

ちなみに、月桂冠のお酒ランキングでは「月」と「山田錦」が上位でした。

飲んだことはないけど、どこのお店にもたいていは置いてあるので見たことはあります。

こういう眺め、いいですね。

ノスタルジックというか、なんというか。

日本のノスタルジックですね、きっと。

ところで前回の記事では

京都駅からこの辺りに向かう場合

京阪本線が行きやすいと言いましたが

伏見稲荷を経由しないのであれば

京都駅から近鉄線に乗って桃山御陵前駅で降りると

この辺にすぐアクセスできます。

京阪本線の伏見桃山駅と近鉄線の桃山御陵前駅はとっても近いです。

バスで移動も良いのかもしれませんが

京都は地下鉄が少ないので、電車で移動しにくいところはバスで移動する人が多いです。

なので、バスは結構混んで��ると思います。

曜日にもよりますが。

電車で移動の方が無難だと思います。

後はタクシーですね。

タクシーも増えたような気がします。

四条方面に行くと、最近そう感じますね。

細い高倉通りを何台ものタクシーが通り過ぎていました。

烏丸駅近くの錦あたりから、高倉通に入ってくる歩行者が多いのもあって、運転が大変そうでしたね。

あのエリアはどこの通りも、あんな感じでしょうね。。。
