Requested: Hi hi!! I was wondering if you could do Octavilline (however the hell you spell it) with a Male child reader (platonic obvi) reader just a chaotic little gremlin that gets into things he isn’t suppose to and somehow has made a little ‘hide out’ in the ‘rafters’ or ‘attic’ of the dorm. Idk just a little gremlins mc stealing and causing chaos around school and then hiding in the ocean dorm sounds fun :3 Ofc you don’t have to! Love your writings btw <3

Summary: Small gremlin child in the attic, what will he do?

”WHERE DID HE GO?!” It was an average Tuesday in Octavinelle dorm. It was a wonder when Crowley dumped this literal child on their doorstep, saying some bullshit like “The dark mirror summoned him and thus I shall be busy trying to get him home along with the prefect! Woe is me! Anyways y’all look after him yeah? Okay byeeee” and dropped the kid and left. 

Azul is quite terrible with children, does not like them one bit (the trauma probably) so he thought that this boy would be a lot of trouble. He was of course right. [Name] was a little gremlin and is not allowed within 5 feet near Floyd as those two will get ideas. The amount of heart attacks this kid has given him-

Jade is also not good with children for completely different reasons. He would give the child poisonous plants to hold, mushrooms to eat and just let the kid roam free in the woods because he found it funny. He is more skilled with keeping the kid in check though, experience with Floyd and all.

Floyd is fucking shit with kids. He would let the kid hold a knife or whatever sharp, pointy object he finds. They would be best friends, Floyd will teach him how to squeeze the little minnows and then the child will now be squeezing poor, unsuspecting students. Floyd almost shed a tear in pride! The monster trio of Octavinelle: Floyd, Jade and [Name] all equally terrifying. 

With that in mind…

”I DON’T KNOW! HE WAS JUST HERE!!” The child escaped timeout. The mafia had to read up on books about parenting unless they would like the kid to die, Azul became an exasperated father whilst Jade was that one sassy aunt who talks shit about everyone and Floyd was that fresh out of jail, but still cool, uncle. 

Said child, was hiding in his little hide out in the attic kid the dorm. No one has found it yet and he intends to keep it that way. He doesn’t want to go to timeout again! (But he will not end his reign of destruction either.)

He finds the three of them odd (octotrio), they seem to care for him. His dad said he cared for him but he just hurt him, not physically but he always said mean things and stuff! He doesn’t want that kind of pain again, so he tried to distant himself from everyone. Anyone who showed him kindness is immediately suspicious as anyone who did in the past always hurt him!

Azul, Jade and Floyd weren’t the nicest people but they were…kind… to him. They were growing on him and that scared him, he doesn’t want to rely on anyone!

”Heyyy Little Eel~~ are you here?” Floyd’s voice drawled, oh no he found him! Soon he saw his head and then his torso. 

“There you are! What are you doing up here?” Floyd said, rather cheerily. He had a smile on his face whilst waving at the child.

”None of your business!” The kid snapped, he was a bit upset about his hideout being found. Floyd didn’t pay his tone any mind and just looked around.

”Oh nice place you’ve got here Little Eel!”

Floyd calls him little eel as he is one of them now so it only makes sense he’s an eel as well!

Azul disagrees

The child huffed and grumbled.

”Thanks…”

Floyd’s smile widened and he scooped the kid up into his arms.

”I’ve got to take ya back now Little Eel but don’t worry! I won’t tell anyone about this place!” The kid wasn’t sure if he could believe that.

”Fiiine!”

”Oh great seven! Where were you?! I was so worried!” Azul was currently acting like a mother hen, completely out of character but he was so fucking worried! This time the kid escaped to another dorm, Heartslabyul to be precise. He had a new toy (courtesy of Jade) and wanted to test it out, on some students. It was like a rocket launcher but instead of rockets, it shoots mushrooms. What you think Jade was responsible? Hell no! He wanted to have some fun as well!

”He was in Goldfishie’s dorm!” Floyd piped up helpfully.

”IN HEARTSLABYUL-“ He took a massive fucking breath to calm his raging nerves.

”Now what were you doing there?” Azul asked calmly.

”I was shooting some wannabe mages with my Shroom Launcher!” He said rather proudly. Azul’s eye twitched as he gave a pointed look towards Jade who only smiled. Fucker.

”You can’t quite shoot at the students Little Fry.” He lightly scolded, he wouldn’t dare dwell on the small feeling of pride welling up at the thought he gave Riddle trouble though.

“Bleh.” The child just stuck his tongue out but he seemed to listen. That was progress, Azul thought.

"Oh my, how devious." Jade said with not so hidden amusement, as he watched the young boy scale the wall by the Scarabia mirror. He heard about what that Jamil tried to do to Azul so he's going to prank him, not out of concern about the octomer's well being or anything! 

With one last pull, the child hauled himself right over the mirror, ready to attack. Jade just couldn't help his snickering whilst hiding in the shadows, he really does enable this child too much.

When Jamil walked through the mirror he did not expect to be drenched head to toe in azul-blue paint. He was dumbfounded. The child just cackled in delight, giving a shit eating grin when the vice made eye contact with him, a deadpan stare on his face. Eventually Jamil left, in a more sour mood than he'd like to admit.

"Heheh, that was rather amusing Littler Elver. Shall we go gather some mushrooms?" The child turned to him with excitement.

"To fill up the Shroom Launcher?"

"Indeed."

This motherfuker was a terrible influence...

He was alone now... Floyd had fulfilled his promise and not said a word about his base. He strolled to his stash, it consisted of the little trinkets he stole from other students.

Now he is getting ready for another "hunt" we'll call it, he has located his new victim. The guy with horns looks promising but Comrade Yuu advised against stealing the Tamagotchi from him. Instead the child redirected his attention to the obnoxious green haired male. Oh yeah this will be easy. Comrade Ruggie mentioned about needing some food and Comrade Yuu needs money to pay of student debts as well as live in the world they were thrown into, so with his target selected, the child waited for the time to pounce.

What if They were Dads?

SUMMARY: Headcanons of what I think they would be like as fathers to your child. And what if his dormmates were like honorary uncles to the child?

COMMENTS: I would have liked to have made a headcanon about the relationship with the boys' parents and siblings, but since we don't know them that well or at all on the Eng Server like Vil's father, I think I'll leave that for a possible post that complements this one. If you want.

CONTEXT: This was written with a cisgender female reader in mind. Reader is Yuu. But if you want (and can) read it in any other way, feel free to.

By the way, this is one of those moments when I wish English had a second person plural, instead of the singular and plural being the same. Whenever I write “your child” I mean it in the plural (you, the reader, and his)

Riddle’s child(ren) call him: Father

Riddle has the same demands and standards for his child that he has for himself. But he doesn't want to make the same mistakes as his mother, so in comparison he can be more permissive. Because of this he will ALWAYS listen to you if you tell him he is being too harsh.

In terms of studies, etiquette and behaviour he is quite strict as you would expect. But when it comes to play he lets his child do almost anything they want.

He doesn't know how to play with his child, but he will always make an effort to learn how to and do it with them. He almost seems to regress to the childhood he never had and wants to give to his child. Whenever the child learns a new game, they will show it and teach it to Riddle and he will be delighted with it.

Although he is strict, he is also relatively protective, especially if your child is a girl. He tries not to be overly protective, but he can't help but worry about your child. If there was a right way to raise a child, is he doing his job well enough? You will have several conversations at first to reassure him that he is doing a good job.

He will study any and all parenting books that experts in child behaviour and education recommend. This kind of knowledge is never too much. Which often leads you to try to convince him to relax and just trust his instincts and what he feels is right. The child is his, not all those authors and experts. Sometimes there are things that a parent simply knows.

Lawful and calm Uncle Trey. They love uncle Trey's sweets! Sometimes Riddle asks him if he's not giving them too much sweets and Trey always assures him that it's okay because he knows how to make healthier sweets and the limit for a child to eat. If they weren't already Riddle's child, the whole thing about always brushing their teeth could be scary.

Chaotic Uncle Che'nya. The crazy and fun Uncle! Your child and Che'nya join forces (maybe even with you) to play pranks on Riddle. Never anything that could get the child into trouble with their father, just enough for everyone, Riddle included, to have fun.

Uncle Ace and Uncle Deuce are more from your side than Riddle's honestly. Ace is a bit like Che'nya in the case of being one of the chaotic pranksters uncles. But he is also the uncle of magic tricks who is always deceiving, but also entertaining your child with them.

Deuce is the rad uncle with a cool moto and/or even cooler blastcycle, who offers to take your child for a ride in it with him. Your child also finds it funny to see the two of them arguing amicably. But it’s even funnier to see them imitating their father trying to order them to stop arguing.

Uncle Cater doesn't show up very often, but they like him. He's not chaotic like Ace and Che'nya, but he's also fun. Your child enjoys receiving compliments from him and taking pictures with him.

Your child imitates their father scolding Grim too. Just like Riddle (and probably because they're still little) they have a very bad temper. Riddle gets embarrassed whenever you say that someone takes after their father.

Leona’s child(ren) call him: Dad

Leona still doesn't like kids... your child(ren) is/are just an exception.

Yes, Leona would treat a daughter slightly differently than he would treat a son. In the same way that he treats men and women a little differently. But the only difference is that he would be tougher on a son than a daughter, but will still be affectionate regardless.

No matter what gender his child is, he wants the same for them: be strong both physically and mentally. To outsiders like some servants or citizens who don't know him, they may get to the point of thinking Leona is a harsh father who doesn't deserve all that love from his child, and he will tell both you and your child not to mind that. But the truth is that he is just like he was with you at school: a tough guy who hides a caring heart.

Leona continues to show himself to be a person who doesn't want anyone to upset him and who would growl at anyone who bothers him. The only people who can get close to him even when he's angry and remain safe and sound are you and your child. He'll still growl at you and your child quietly, but there will be a volume that is the line, like if his growl is louder than that limit it's because he's getting really angry, until then it's just him being him.

Your child will already have the best private teachers and tutors (one of them being Kifaji/Neji if he’s still alive), but even so, Leona will want to make them study and learn more. But in that discreet way that he knows. He will not force them to study more, he will find a way to convince them to want to learn more on their own.

You end up being the most affectionate parent and the one they trust for emotional comfort. Leona is the tough love, you are the soft love (at least in comparison). Leona will always tease you, insinuating that you are too soft and only spoil your child. Although he enjoys when you spoil him too.

He is 100% the ‘Go ask your mom’ kind of dad.

He lets his child take naps with him. And you too.

If he has more than one child, he will police himself not to favor any of them. He may have a tendency to favor the younger ones because of what he went through as the youngest himself, but none of his children will be treated in any special/different way based on their birth order. Neither the youngest nor the oldest.

He will try to convince his child not to be too close (emotionally) to their uncle or cousin, but won't stop them from playing with Cheka. When your child is old enough not to tell others what is said in your home, Leona and them will talk badly about Falena and Cheka behind their backs.

Leona will prefer your child to play with Ruggie and/or his children. On the one hand, he wants to keep them away from his family, but on the other hand, he also wants his child to know what the real world is like, to see both wealth and poverty, to know royalty as they knows their people and only then create their own judgement.

They don't call anyone uncle or aunt other than Falena and his wife. In the same way, Leona also doesn't give cute titles to anyone without being sarcastically. Even when he calls you “love”, “darling”, “honey” or something like that, it's to tease you.

Whenever you go to Shaftlands, whether for democratic reasons or on holiday, you always try to find a way to meet with Jack. Leona pretends that he only helps you with this because you want to see your friend and he wants to get rid of his family. Both you and Jack know that he just doesn't want to admit that he wants to see him too. Jack is the cool parent's friend who taught your child how to snowboard. While they are little they like to hug his tail because it’s fluffy.

Despite everything, he doesn't want his child to have the same lack of hope that he has, and despite trying to hide it, he always feels extremely guilty and bad whenever your child says something like that. At these times he relies on you to be the ray hope in that house, they will both need you for that.

Both Leona and your child are afraid of you when you get really serious or angry.

Do you know that scene from The Lion King where Mufasa uses Zazu to give Simba an pouncing lesson? Leona often does something similar, but instead of the target being a blue bird, it's a magical creature called Grim.

Azul’s child(ren) call him: Daddy (when little) Dad (when older)

Azul is an extremely emotional father, despite trying to hide it. There's going to be a lot of moments like: “HE/SHE IS THE CUTEST LITTLE THING IN THE WHOLE- *clears throat* I mean, he/she is such a charming little child.” He will most likely cry at your baby's first words, steps, anything.

Azul is overprotective! If any living creature even thinks about harming your child, he will tortu- that is, find a completely legal way to ensure that it never happens again. Now, if you'll excuse him, he suddenly felt like talking to Jade and Floyd. (The same protectiveness applies to you.)

Although he is very (secretly) emotional and loves to spoil his child, he is also relatively strict about their studies. He likes to spoil them (and you) when it's deserved, but he will not raise a spoiled child! This ends up balancing things out a bit.

He will hide the whole mafia-like part of his life from his child. Dad is just doing business, boring adult stuff. Maybe when your child is older he will start to reveal a little of that side of his life, if they later want to join their father it will be their choice. But until then, let them be innocent children, they are cuter and happier that way, there is time for everything.

He will always hold back his emotional side so as not to be overly affectionate. Unless his child starts crying. At that point his mask falls completely and he becomes the most affectionate and comforting father there can be, that is his weakness.

And if one day the child realizes this and starts using crying to get what they want from him, he won't know whether to be angry that he is being emotionally manipulated by his own child, or proud that they learned so quickly.

You will be the only one immune to the fake crying.

From the beginning, Azul has been wary and suspicious of letting Jade and Floyd be like uncles to your child. However, you two ended up letting this happen, but Azul will always keep an eye open.

Both Jade and Floyd will definitely use the child to play pranks on Azul. Mostly Floyd, Jade prefers to watch and assist. Azul will always be upset with the twins, never with his child. And depending on the severity of the prank, he will turn on his overprotective side and threaten Jade and Floyd that if that happens again they will never see your child again. They never go beyond that limit.

Every now and then when Floyd plays with your child, he will do that joke where he playfully tells them he's going to catch them and bite them. Actually in his playful voice, he doesn't want to scare them. And they will run to Azul and hide behind his legs asking for help while laughing. Or tentacles if they are in their merfolk form.

If you ask them Jade is the scary uncle (only sometimes) but they themselves don't even know why. It's just his vibe or something. However, they are not afraid to ask any of them for something, it being to play or for help.

You know those little plastic cashiers where kids pretend to have a little shop and try to sell things to people at home? Usually parents or sibling. Azul loves to play this with his child because it is a great and fun way to pass on his knowledge. Both about sales and about taking care of your money. Usually using the Grim as a guinea pig. Grim also likes to play because he always ends up with food in exchange for toy money.

Jamil’s child(ren) call him: Dad (in informal moments) and Father (at formal events)

Jamil needed to learn to express himself more and better emotionally so as not to end up being a cold father without meaning to. He needs your help to teach your child when to hold back and when to know when they are in a safe space to let go.

The only thing that will follow Jamil forever is an inevitable feeling of guilt for your child having the same fate as him, simply for being his child: serving the Al-Asim family with no other choice. But you can be assured that if there is a way to stop this and give his child freedom of choice, whatever that method may be, he will not give up until he finds it and do it! Normally parents want to give their children what they always wanted and could never have, in Jamil's case it’s freedom.

There was something Jamil wanted to do, but he didn't have the courage to ask the Al-Asim for some kind of vacation. But you had! Using your great friendship with Kalim, you managed to get him to allow you to take a vacation long enough for you to travel as a family, as Jamil wanted. Jamil has always wanted to travel alone, but now with you and your child he would like to travel as a family and give his child the experiences he would have liked to have had himself.

He is quite demanding with his child's education and training. However, his attitude towards this is always calm and collected, and he is attentive to his child's limitations and needs. He is a great and responsible tutor, who knows how to distinguish between being a teacher and being a father.

He is usually quite serious, so you and your child are the ones who start messing with him to have fun and make him laugh. It's always nice when he reminds you two that he can also be a tease. Normal or biggest target of your joint teasing ends up being Grim at some point.

During his work as Kalim's servant, Jamil always had to cook a lot and he's not that big a fan of cooking, so so he can rest at home you're the one who cooks most of the time. He will teach you everything you want to learn and at first you will cook together a lot until you feel comfortable cooking alone. But even then he will continue to offer to help you. Your child will continue to say that Jamil's food is tastier, but yours is prettier. And the food you make together is the best because it’s tasty and pretty. Jamil will also encourage his child to cook with you two so that they can learn from a young age.

His child knows that there is only one thing in this world that can make their father scream in fear: Bugs! If your child is also afraid of insects, you're screwed, because you will be the insect killer in that house. However, if it is just the two of them, Jamil's protective instinct will be stronger and despite his fear he will protect his child. If your child is not afraid of insects, then Jamil will have two protectors. “Can you do dad a favor?”; “Where is it?”; “Living room, south wall last time I saw.”; “Does it fly?”; “...Yes.”

Kalim will treat your child almost like one of his own children, for loving you both so much. He got emotional when he found out you were pregnant, he wanted to help pay for your doctor's appointments if necessary (never was), and he got emotional again when your child was born. He loves buying toys for your child too and give them gifts. He would love for Jamil to let them call him Uncle Kalim. And he loves it when your kids play together.

Vil’s child(ren) call him: Father 

Vil wants to have a family that is at its best as he likes to be at his best himself. He wants you and your child to be as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside, just as he strives to be as well. However, he would treat a daughter slightly differently than a son because of the different pressures of societal beauty standards.

With a son he would be as strict with him as he is with himself. But with a daughter, he knows she's more likely to suffer from these kinds of things. So although he continues to be relatively strict and wants her to be the best she can be, he ends up being softer with criticism and stronger with praise and soft love than he would be with a son.

He would hire a specialist, like as a child psychologist or something like that, to always know the best ways to rise and protect your child. Children of famous people like him, especially in the digital and social media age, may need more protection from their parents in this regard, in addition to the toxic pressure of comparison that exists. However, because Vil cares so much about your child's personal development as their happiness, he may end up putting enormous pressure on himself to be a perfect parent too.

Both Vil and your child will need you to be the person who brings them both back to the real world and the life of a loving family with flaws like any human being. Vil will always listen to you if you feel he may be being too harsh and demanding with your child, or with himself in terms of parenting.

If you are the type of person who likes to tease Vil by letting yourself be sloppy from time to time, (always at home) then your child will also like to tease their father like that. “You have your mother’s cheekiness, I see.” Vil sighs but laughs. The teasing includes eating sweets and food that Vil would not approve of. You are the parent they ask for things from and who best comforts and pampers them. You two probably team up to make Vil relax and have fun with you.

His child will have the best teachers and tutors, go to the best schools and best establishments for any extracurricular activity they want to have. Vil will probably force them to have an extracurricular activity but they will be free to choose which one.

Rook is OBSESSED with your child! In a respectful way of course, he is just already a huge fan. The result of combining your DNA with Vil's? MERVEILLEUX! He won't hold back the tears when he sees the baby for the first time. He will LOVE playing with your child. He will babysit for free and will be happy to do so if you ever need. It will be a long time before he stops getting so emotional whenever your child calls him "Uncle Rook."

Uncle Epel is the rad uncle, when Vil is not around. He is that person who will help your child do cool activities that Vil may not allow. Like taking a blastcycle ride with him, eat grilled meats, playing with things that make the child very dirty or other things that Vil didn't like Epel to do when they were at NRC. But if at least one parent allows it (you), then there is no problem. Right? All this, of course, when Vil is not around.

When he is there, both Epel and your child behave like little angels. You and Epel have to be very careful that the child doesn't get careless and say something in Epel's dialect in front of Vil. They love Uncle Epel because it is fun to do cool things without their father knowing and with your help.

Your child likes to use Grim as a doll to dress up in cute clothes. The funny thing is that Grim likes it too because your child eventually realizes that if they tell him he looks cool instead of cute, he'll let them keep dressing him up.

Idia’s child(ren) call him: Daddy (when little) Dad (when older)

Idia doesn't believe he can be a good father. A shut-it and antisocial otaku like him? Are you crazy? That's a disaster! He can't take care of himself, how is he going to help you raise a child? However, and especially with you, he also has that overly cocky side that believes that even being an antisocial nerd he would be 1000 times better than a lot of parents out there. So basically he has a tendency to oscillate between these two moods.

In comparison, you are the strict parent, he is the parent who spoils the child. They are both afraid of you when you get upset. He's a ‘Don't tell your mother’ type of dad. He can't say no to his child, but, oddly enough, he can't be emotionally manipulated either. He may even let his child do a lot of things, but even he has limits to what he knows is good or bad for them.

Because he's the permissive father, he's also the scariest when he gets serious. He can never get really mad at his child, but he can say a firm and assertive “No” if necessary. However, if they are still very young and start crying, he will panic and call you immediately. You will then have to comfort Idia and tell him that no, he did not make a decision that put him on the path to the traumatic and apocalyptic ending. What he probably did was the opposite.

If it depends on him, his child will be a nerd/otaku just like his father. However, he doesn't want them to be socially anxious like him and will always encourage them to go for walks with you outside even if it's without him. That doesn't mean there aren't times you drag him outside with you.

Besides occasionally questioning whether he is being a good father, there is something else that haunts him... He still carries and will probably always carry the feeling of guilt for what happened to Ortho, so he is absolutely TERRIFIED that something like that may happen again.

Idia has always tried to keep your child as far away as possible from all areas that are dangerous or even remotely similar to the hallway where that happened. But if your child ever happens to even enter an area that their father did not allow, they will get to know a side of Idia that sometimes you yourself don’t even remember exists: The overprotective, traumatized side that isn't afraid to scare his child if it means keeping them away from the danger. And probably the only way they'll see his red hair. But it will probably be after that, that the two of you will have an open heart conversation and Idia will apologize.

Now, about Uncle Ortho, they LOVE uncle Ortho! He's the one who goes for a walk with you and your child when you and he can't convince Idia to go too. He is a cheerful uncle who loves to play with your child. You three made up stories to explain why uncle Ortho was a humanoid. You always make up different and crazy stories to jest with them and make them change the subject. The day will come when they will be old enough to know the truth.

Idia may even talk badly about himself a lot of the times, but no matter what his child do, they are talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular and everything good. “Of course that's because they inherited it from you, not me.” He will say with a smile.

Both Idia and your child treat Grim like a pet cat and find it funny to see him getting grumpy.

Idia spoke to his child in that baby voice when they themselves were also babies. And maybe also when they are children to the point where they tell him to stop treating them like babies.

Malleus’s child(ren) call him: Daddy (when little) Dad (when older) Father (at formal events)

The day Malleus found out you were pregnant was already a happy day, but the day your child was born was the happiest day of his life! And every moment with them is the happiest moment of his day. And of course with you too. He totally and completely loves his family!

Anyone who dares to speak ill of the child of Malleus Draconia, especially about the fact that they are half-human, will suffer the consequences! Anyone who spoke openly about the child being something of a disgrace, shame or an abomination was either killed or imprisoned. (Depending on how opposed you really are to Malleus killing or ordering someone to be killed.) and of course, the same applies to talking bad about you.

The problem is that this is doing the same thing to your child that was done to him. He's scaring everyone and making them afraid to come near your child for fear of saying or doing something that might upset them or Malleus. He listens to you and agrees with you, showing concern and thoughtfulness about what should be done. He hates people being disrespectful to the ones he loves, but he also doesn't want his child to go through what he went through.

What ends up happening is that, on Malleus's part, he realizes that he has to start learning ways for people to respect his child without using fear, but to do that he also has to start letting certain insults slide. He doesn't like it, but if it's what's best for his child, he'll do the best he can. Although the same applies if they disrespect you. He hates it so much!

In the case of your child, you are helped by Lilia (if he’s still alive), Silver, Sebek and their families. Perhaps trying to spend more time among their people and with other fae, humans, and half-fae might be beneficial to a child's social development.

Lilia would treat the child as if they were his own grandchild. Even if Silver also has children, they are ALL Lilia's grandchildren! “There's no denying it any longer... I am... officially... an old man... For the best possible reasons!” Everyone will rescue your child from Lilia's food. “Never eat anything that Grandpa Lilia cooks, you hear?”

Silver is the calm uncle who, despite not being the most fun to play with, is the one they turn to when they want to rest and simply have a good chill time. Or take a nap. Probably who they turn to to run away and hide from Sebek when he's being annoying. He ends up being the adult (than is not their parents) that they trust most and feel most comfortable with. Silver is very happy when they ask him for help to get closer to an animal to see it better, and even more so if they and the animals end up interacting and playing with each other.

Now about Uncle Sebek... If there is anyone more protective and flattering of that child than Malleus, it is Sebek. He cried when the child was born, for sure. And cried even more when the child said his name, or whenever they at least tried to. The day they called him "Uncle Sebek" he was about to have a heart attack. The problem is that he ends up being one of those type of person who adores children (although in his case the only ones he likes would be Malleus's and his own children) to the point that the child finds them annoying and clingy. “But don't tell Uncle Sebek that, he'll be sad.”

Whenever the child throws a tantrum that ends up causing their powers to manifest in storms or uncontrolled magic, Malleus will take care of it while you stay away and safe. To him, any attack would be mere tickling, but he always made sure that your child knows that the same does not apply to you. They may end up thinking that you are very fragile while they are little, but it is better this way to ensure that they do not hurt you unintentionally.

This also means that whenever you need to say ‘No’ to your child, Malleus will do it if there is a possibility that they would start throwing tantrums. At least while they are young and cannot control their powers well.

Malleus also runs the risk of being a father who spoils his children.

Your child and Grim probably burn a lot of things around the castle because they play together and they both have fire powers.

The moment the words leave their mouth “Is she single?” Riddle’s entire posture goes rigid.

His teacup pauses mid air, between his fingers.

“Excuse me?”

“Did you just ask if my girlfriend… is single?”

His voice is clipped, sharp, and cold as iced rosewater. He sets the teacup down with a quiet clink that somehow echoes ominously.

The poor soul stammers something about “just wondering” and “didn’t know,” but Riddle’s already standing.

“She's not available. And even if she were, she has standards. Ones you clearly don't meet.”He’ll give a thin, polite smile.

Later, he pulls you aside, still flushed with frustration but still some gentleness in his eyes.

“You’re mine… right?” he whispers with a hand in yours “I don’t like the thought of you’re not with me.”

Leona Kingscholar

Someone asks if you’re single?

Leona slowly, very slowly, looks up from where he was lounging, one brow raised. The smirk that curls across his lips is predatory.

“What’d you just say?”

He stands casually, almost lazily but there’s nothing relaxed about the way he rolls his shoulders, his eyes fixed on the poor idiot like a lion spotting its next meal.

“You’re asking if my herbivore is available? While I’m right here?”

He’ll laugh. Not kindly. And step just close enough to loom.

“She’s not. And unless you’ve got a death wish, I’d keep your mouth shut next time.”

Later, he yanks you down into his lap and keeps an arm around your waist for the rest of the event, chin resting possessively on your shoulder.

Azul Ashengrotto

Azul’s reaction is the definition of menacing composure.

He doesn’t even blink at first just adjusts his glasses, gives a small, polite smile, and says:

“I beg your pardon?”

When the person repeats themselves, he chuckles softly, like someone just told him a particularly stupid joke.

“Interesting. Because unless there’s another girl who shares her name, face, and affection for me, I’m fairly certain she’s taken.”

Azul’s eyes glint with something far too dark for the bright lounge lighting. The tension in the room thickens.

“Perhaps next time, you’ll inquire more carefully. Or not at all.”

He kisses your hand later that evening, voice sweet and soft:

“Do you know how close I was to dragging them into a contract just to shut them up?”

Jamil Viper

Jamil’s expression goes completely blank the moment the question is asked. It’s a scary kind of calm. He blinks once. Twice.

“…What?”

They repeat it, a little more hesitantly this time.

He lets out a slow breath. Smiles. “She’s not single. She’s very much in a relationship. With me.”

Then he leans in, voice dropping:

“If you value your time here at NRC, I suggest you redirect that interest… elsewhere.”

He acts totally unbothered afterward, but you catch him side-eyeing every guy who walks within three feet of you for the rest of the day.

“What? I'm just keeping an eye out.”

Vil Schoenheit

Vil doesn't get angry. Not in public. But when someone asks if you're single?

He pauses mid-sentence, his head tilting just slightly as he regards them with a dazzling smile so cold it could cut glass.

“How bold. You must be new here.”

He doesn’t even raise his voice. He doesn’t have to. His presence alone makes the person shrink.

“She is not single. She's taken. Proudly. By me.”

He'll lean back in his seat, legs crossed, and flick an imaginary speck of dust from his sleeve.

That night, he touches your cheek gently and murmurs:

“You're far too radiant for them not to notice. But don't worry, love they can look. They just can't have.”

Idia Shroud

The second someone asks if you're single, Idia nearly chokes on his drink.

“WHAT?!”

He turns beet red. His hair flickers with hot-pink panic.

“Y-you mean, like, single-single? Or like—is this a prank? Did Ortho set this up?!”

Once he realizes it’s a genuine question, something in him snaps but in his own Idia way.

“No. No she’s not single. Are you blind? I’m literally standing right here.”

Then quieter, more to himself: “NPCs like this always try to romance-lock the wrong route…”

Later, when you find him sulking in his room, he clutches your hand and says:

“You’re mine, right? Like, final boss level committed? I… I just need to hear it.”

You kiss his forehead. “Always.”

Malleus Draconia

Oh. Oh no. Oh no no no no…

The moment someone asks if you’re single, Malleus goes absolutely still. It’s the kind of stillness that makes the air feel heavier.

“What… did you just ask me?”

His voice is calm, but the magic in the room shifts. Dark. Primal.

He steps forward, eyes glowing ever so slightly.

“She is my girlfriend. My beloved. My chosen. There is no version of reality where she is single and I’m not with her”

The person stammers an apology. Malleus tilts his head.

“I would advise you to remember that. Unless you wish to find yourself… forgotten.”

He says it with a gentle smile that somehow feels like a curse.

Later, he presses your hand to his chest and whispers:

“They must not know what it means to belong to someone. When your heart only beats for them.”

if not for an unbirthday party where you needed an outfit that accommodated your body more, riddle rosehearts would have never noticed unless you outwardly told him. only now did he realize your more feminine features, and he turns as red as his hair. after realizing, he does treat you slightly more respectful because he was raised to treat women respectfully. besides being more respectful, flustered, and in love with you, not much changed in you two's friendship.

trey clover would have found out sooner or later even if his hand never touched your bra on accident while tying your apron. he straight up asks if you're a girl, and when you tell him you are he acts surprised and flustered. honestly, not much changes. he acts the exact same but gets slightly more protective of you.

when cater diamond found out over magicam that you were a a girl, he nearly died. he just though you were one of the guys that were more naturally feminine, only to find out you're actually a female. honestly, he's not mad. he still loves you! he'll help you keep it a secret if you wish, but if you don't want to, there probably won't be a student in the school who doesn't know you're a girl. but don't worry, he'll keep all those icky pervs away!

okay, okay. because he's a little shit, he wanted to prank you and it just happened to involve you dressing yourself. so ace trappola waited until he knew you were changing to barge into your room, only to be face to face with you in just a bra and panties. he screams, like a girl, more girly than you, and rushed out the dorm with his face red. the next day is awkward, but at least he knows his crush is a girl, and that you have a really cute body under the clothes that convinces others you're a boy.

it's just so strange, the feelings deuce spade has. he even calls his mom and tells her all about his little crush. but by the way he was describing you, ms. spade didn't think you were a guy. so deuce builds up the courage to ask you if you're actually a guy. to his surprise when you tell him you're not, he dies of embarrassment. queue delinquent deuce whenever someone makes some pervy comment (or generally speaks) to you.

honestly, leona kingscholar probably knew already. he could probably sense or smell the female hormones on your or something. i don't know, all i know is that leona knows. he doesn't really have to ask or anything. he just knows. and you think he knows because he treats you better than any other male in the school. his attitude towards you doesn't ever really change but he's definitely flirty with you.

ruggie bucchi is in the same boat is leona. they both can just tell you're not a guy. however, he fears you. male hyenas usually listen to their female counterpart, so ruggie usually just listens. however, when he realizes he has control and that you aren't a threat, he's definitely becomes more friendly around you. no matter how much he fears you, his crush never ever leaves.

i won't lie, but every person in savanaclaw probably knows you're a girl. jack howl included. he won't make it painfully obvious that he knows but he definitely lets you know subtly know he knows. he shows you great amounts of respect and sometimes can't help but feel absolutely vile for thinking of you in some... not so respectful ways.

look, you're gonna give the poor octopus a heart attack once he finds out! you're filling out a contract and you inform azul ashengrotto that you're a girl and ask for certain things to be changed. he simply dies on the spot from shock and is a blushy little octopus. he thinks of using you to convince more people to the monstro lounge, but he can't do that to his crush!

just as expected, jade leech finds out rather quickly. one walk in the forrest on a hot day and a crop top with some sweat soaking through was enough to spill the beans. of course he had his suspicions, but you confirmed them for him! he finds you somehow cuter with your secret revealed. don't worry, your secret is safe with him!

floyd leech always thought you were just so cute! so, he just has to squeeze you to show you his love, right? when he squeezed you, he felt something push against him. he realized what he felt was what all the female merfolk had. "oh, shrimpy! you have boobs!" and he enjoys squeezing your boobs more than you. it doesn't matter if they're big or small, he just can't stop squeezing them!

this shouldn't come as a surprise, but it takes kalim al-asim a long time to find out. i mean, he can quite literally see you naked and be like "wow! you're very female-bodied for a guy!" of course, he didn't find out that way, but he could have. he actually found out by spilling water on you and seeing your bra. anyways, he's surprisingly calm about it. he still treats you like a friend that he has an obvious crush on, so yeah!

jamil viper is surprisingly shocked at what he found out. a little cooking mishap caused you to take off your oversized hoodie and make jamil realize your more... feminine features on your upper body. of course, he's a lot more over protective of you, and oh! he just can't stop staring! he tries his best, but his crush is just a bit more apparent!

he had always had his suspicions. vil schoenheit always thought your more feminine appearance had been more than some accidental blessing. apparently, he was proven right when on a shopping spree he got a little look of your breasts while trying on some clothes. he'll bring you all sorts of clothes that he thinks will suit you, enjoying getting to see you try on the clothes. you can tell he knows your little secret by the more.. risky.. clothes, if you can even call them that, he requests you in.

rook hunt knew from the first second he saw you. you come into night raven and expect not to be observed by the hunter? how cute. he gets actual confirmation when he was watching you change one night. of course he looked away while you were naked (maybe not), but he saw your bra and completely knew. the next day, he obviously hugged you more to try and egg you on that he knows (and feel you), but don't worry, it doesn't take to long to find out.

okay, so epel felmier though you two were on the same boat. two really pretty men cursed by genetics somehow. but, after he takes you on a magic wheel ride and feels you against him, he realizes he is alone. he's obviously flustered but he feels more manly somehow? he protects you and comes off as manly as possible. surely other guys will see how manly he is if his crush, and the only girl on campus, sees it, right?

when idia shroud found out, he was more than surprised and honestly didn't even think he could face you ever again! with a bit of convincing from his dear little brother, he could face you again. although with pink tinted hair and a red face, he'll still see you! how did he find out exactly? well, he accidentally touched you boob when aiming to punch your shoulder after a won game.

(platonic) a simple body scan gave ortho shroud the answers he needed. ortho is the biggest idia x [name] shipper on the planet! he'll call you 'big sister', and probably lock you in a room with idia if it'll help speed up the love-i-fication process. eventually he'll break the news to his brother, but he loves playing the waiting game with him. is idia getting any closer to finding out? no- wait, yes, wait-!

malleus draconia is an intelligent man. however, to crack this mystery, he'll need every clue and sign laid before him. once he pieces the picture together, he still might need to to clarify that you are in fact a woman. and don't forget, malleus is a gentleman. he'll treat you with love and respect as he courts you, beds you, and makes you his queen.

at some age, you just realize what everyone is, y'know? lilia vanrouge just knows that you're a girl. it probably started out at a gut feeling that ended up true. and maybe he'll let you know that he knows by giving you a cutely wrapped box of matching black and pink panty and bra set! maybe with a rose and a note that says 'be my girl?'

sleepyhead silver realizes completely by accident when he just wanted to lay on your shoulder. next thing you know, you've pulled his head to your thighs and when he tries to look up, he's meet with a new type of pillow. he's conflicted between staying awake or going to sleep upon this newfound discovery. either way, don't think that his sleepiness will prevent him from wanting to be as knightly as possible for you.

sebek zigvolt accidentally unhooks your bra when trying to fix your posture. it's an awkward moment and sebek is surprisingly quiet when he asks you your gender. his loudness returns as he begins yelling about how informal he's been to you. as a servant of his dear master malleus, he promises to treat you with the utmost respect!

This is my first time requesting here, and I humbly come to you with a request for some headcanons. Hear me out: The Ace, Deuce, Jack, Jamil, and Silver finding a doodle of them with little hearts around it in the reader's notebook

Ace Trappola:

Ace absolutely eats it up. While it does start a hurricane of excited butterflies in his stomach he can’t ignore what he saw, asking with a grin what that was about. He’d poke and prod until he got a confession, grinning at how you couldn’t meet his eye. He’s pleased to know his feelings are returned and that it wasn’t him caught doodling your name with hearts around it—not that he did that.

Deuce Spade:

Deuce had to do a double-take, confirming with his own two eyes that there are at least five hearts surrounding his name in your notebook. You had handed him your notes with such ease, so had you done this on purpose? Were you trying to send him a message? His face scrunched as he wracked his brain for a meaning that was so surface level it went directly over his head, handing your notebook back while mumbling a thanks as he was too distracted to study anything now.

Jack Howl:

Jack is a man deep in denial about his own feelings, which meant he could easily ignore that doodle even if the question of what it meant ate away at him. He had felt guilty for looking at your notebook in the first place, thinking it was disrespectful without asking first, and the fact he actually saw something he shouldn’t have… He’s more flustered around you than usual after seeing it, not sure how to pretend he didn’t see that doodle (or how to avoid the feelings bubbling to the surface inside him when he remembered it).

Jamil Viper:

Jamil does consider for a moment this is some sort of juvenile prank to get a rise out of him, quickly dismissing the idea when he recognized your handwriting as you were hardly the type to do such a thing. Unfortunately, the legitimacy of the doodle left him feeling tense, forced to wonder what it actually meant. Had you just enjoyed writing his name and then the next shapes you wanted to doodle happened to be hearts? Were there numerous other names written in your notebook in just the same way? He won’t ask, nor will he admit how jealous he felt at the concept his name might not be special.  

Silver:

Silver doesn’t think twice about it initially. He thinks you could’ve just been doodling whatever came to mind, and that his name with hearts could mean nothing. Since he doesn’t recognize this normal ritual of a person with a crush he asked you directly about it, thinking the best way to get an answer would be to be direct. Your flustered reaction and the way you ripped the page out of the book, stuffed away into your bag to potentially never be seen again, doesn’t clear up much for the confused man.

Like, the player is shy and quiet at first but if they get comfortable enough with someone they'll be more talkative and a lil' extroverted?

The not cannibal pls had me laughing, I really turned the player into this man-eater huh lol. Can't really write that much about reader so I'll just feed you some irrelevant crumbs.

The whole campus is probably still in a mess despite your diet though. Students fight against each other out of jealousy to drag each other down so that you can focus more on them.

Riddle and Azul's rivalries are the funniest. Especially because Riddle finally notices how capable Azul is in doing better than him now (maybe not academically lol). Truly they both are almost like carbon copy in your eyes.

Leona and Vil walk side by side dissing each other while presenting themselves as a complete 180 to you.

Idia shaking in his boots trying to appear less giddy and anxious in your eyes while Kalim just sings songs as he hops his way to you with his gold jingling merrily.

Malleus is very straightforward about his wish to worshipping you, even going as far as to kneel down immediately upon you noticing him while Lilia just casually wraps his arm around you, acting all buddy-like while savoring the closeness between you two. Malleus is jealous, petty jealous of him.

In your eyes, you just feel like you are just some transmigrated protagonist in a romance game, unaware of how sinister their feelings are toward you, their player, their God.

But it turns out that their God is quite the humble one huh? They don't pride themselves on their holiness, they don't differentiate their treatment from one another (unless you are biased) and they are actually very quiet and collected!

It takes a lot of prying to finally see you pay attention to them and laugh at the jokes Ace and Deuce crack. It takes effort for the beastmen for you to finally feel how fluffy their ears are! Jack's tail is wagging so hard that Ruggie had to step on it.

It takes lots of convincing acts and guilt-tripping for Jade to make you visit Mostro Lounge and enjoy the drinks Floyd specifically makes for you, the prettiest and most delicious drinks you've ever had!

It takes a lot of effort for Cater to finally have you posing for the selfies he takes with you! It takes a lot of time for Trey to finally know which treats gain your attention and suits your liking after making shit tons of them.

It takes a lot of guilt-tripping from Jamil to make you finally attend one of the feasts Kalim throws for you and oh boy was it grand.

It's not hard for Epel to win your attention because of how cute he is lol. But it sure is hard for him to gain your trust that he's just a boy. Rook on the other hand creeps you out so much that you have to tell him to stop and that indirectly means you finally notice him!

It takes lots of convincing from Ortho to finally make you agree to play with him in the board game club that Idia and Azul are in. You finally know just how normal they are when they are playing, yes, normal (they are literally fighting teeth and nails to win it).

It takes a lot of effort for Sebek not to scream around you while Silver tries his best not to doze off on your shoulder. The first time being close to you instantly made him fall asleep soundly while Sebek had to sing praises for you in a voice that could shake the ground.

It was easy for Neige to warm into you because well, he's kind, sweet, and all but he has this protagonist aura to him unlike those NRC boys (except Silver and Kalim). He loves singing for you!

It was also easy for Chen'ya to get into your funny side by pulling countless harmless pranks on you (unlike Ace who has to try hard, again, RSA aura).

Rollo on the other hand worships you like there's no tomorrow. He's great at masking it as something far from obsession and not creeping you away unlike Malleus but he certainly has a shrine dedicated to you in his room too. A bit small if compared to the fae's.

Bonus: Fellow and Gideon scaring you because of how weird they are but Gideon manages to melt your heart so you decide to trust Fellow.

Riddle is.. definitely not used to your chaotic nature. He'll learn to loosen up eventually, but he gets spooked by your pranks more than he'd like to admit. Riddle always checks up on you, making sure you don't get into trouble, even if you do, he'll settle for only giving you a short lecture. Surprisingly, Riddle gets a lot of enjoyment from seeing you mess with others, a guilty pleasure almost.

Ruggie Bucchi

Ruggie has seen weirder, so he isn't the most off-put by your behavior. Though he does feel that it's his responsibility to bail you out of trouble. Even if he doesn't get much out of ‘saving you. Lucky for you, Ruggie is quite adept in bargaining. He won't join you in your schemes, but he will happily watch from the side lines, proudly cheering you on.

“Shihi.. don't get into too much trouble, I might not be able to bail you out next time!”

Azul Ashengrotto

Azul is slightly off putting by your weirdness. Though he may not fully ‘support’ your antics, he won't stop you from doing anything. This may or may not lead to you dragging him into your pranks. If you do, he'll play along, but he'll definitely question your motives. You aren't allowed into the mosto lounge without supervision. Even if you are his girlfriend, he trusts your unpredictable nature more than your impulse control.

“Is it necessary that I need to come with you?”

Jade Leech

Jade is intrigued. He won't explicitly help you, but he'll be your ‘supplier' for your pranks. If you need anything, rest assured that he will get it for you. Most people just think he laughs at your antics, but has nothing to do with them.. He thinks you're funny. The chaos that you leave in your wake greatly entertains him. Jade will happily accompany you anywhere.

“What curious behavior. Heh.”

Floyd Leech

Floyd is totally on board with your energy. When he's in the mood, he'll willfully join you in your shenanigans. He is drawn into the chaos you bring. It's free entertainment, and quality time with his girlfriend, who is he to refuse? Floyd will follow you, supply you, bail you out, or be locked up with you. It doesn't matter to him how you end up after the grand scheme of things, he just wants to join you.

“Aha! Again, again!”

Kalim Al-Asim

Kalim thinks you're funny, even if a little weird. Kalim won't particularly join you in most of your antics, but he'll be supporting you from the sidelines happily. No matter how odd your pranks might be, Kalim will always be cheering you on. If you're lucky, he'll be able to supply you for your pranks. Given Jmail doesn't find out.. On the rare occasion that he does join you, he'd be glowing with joy. It makes him feel a little rebellious.

Mavuika!yuu never backs down from a challenge, standing firm in their beliefs. Their conviction is unshakable. So during lunch Leona and them enter an arm wrestling competition unfortunately it was cut short due to the staff, both of them received detention in the end.

They despise restrictions and oppression, always pushing boundaries. Rules? They’ll follow them… if they make sense, causing a disagreement with riddle who blindly listen to them whenever or not how ridiculous it sounds.

Has a laugh like rolling thunder—deep, full of life, and capable of shaking a room. When they find something truly funny, they throw their head back and cackle.

Knows how to make a grand entrance, every time when they arrive at school with a motorcycle making a grand entrance with grim in the front looking smug as always, and when they're running late mavuika!yuu fly towards the class using their motorcycle with grim screams echoing throughout the halls.

Despite showing to be reckless, they care about people and would make a calculation before moving always deciding which action is better. As well willingly sacrifice themselves for the greater good even leaving them hurt in the end.

At sunrise they would ride their motorcycle or workout to get a head start or admire the sun for awhile before getting ready for the day.

They hate Uniforms, they always alter their NRC uniform—rolling up sleeves, leaving buttons undone, or wearing accessories with flame motifs, wearing it loose.

Mavuika!yuu metabolism is insane, and they always eat huge portions. Trey and Jamil are horrified at how much they can devour. Always wins a eating contest, the first years would encourage them whenever they're competiting.

Theoretical lessons? Boring. Show them a challenge, and they’ll learn on instinct. Loves gym class but hates magic history they would always find ways to not get caught sleeping.

Epel and many other students would look for mavuika!yuu needing their expertise over physical strength, mavuika!yuu is insanely strong able to lift a clay more with one hand without any issues when epel saw them wielding it he immediately starstruck and asked them to train him, As would also love to try to ride their motorcycle their biggest idol by far mavuika!yuu due to them being respected by vil and strong, strong and beautiful.

Nobody wants to spar with them because they always go too hard and make things explode. An absolute beast with overblot battles, would immediately throw hands without hesitation punch an overblot riddle thru multiple bush ending the fight instantly. As well during combat their hair would light up like fire as well growing hotter similar towards the sun.

Constantly challenging professors. They argue with Trein just to see if they can win. They negotiate with Crowley like a warlord dealing with an incompetent king.

Would love to go shopping with the pomifiore trio, vil respect their ways of fashion and as well discussing outfits with them.

No sense of personal space. They lean on people, throw arms around someones their shoulders, or grab their hands without hesitation. As well very energetic idia is afraid of them curious where they did find the energy to be this active everyday....

Likes collecting small trinkets. Their room is full of random keepsakes from battles, pranks, and adventures.

Idia had just finished playing with Muscle Red when the sound of a request from Ortho to make a video call started playing. Even though he finds it strange that he is calling him through Gloomurai's account, he answers anyway. However, he is surprised to see that it is not Royal Sword Academy Ortho, but a humanoid that looks like him.

“Bwha?! *sputter* What's going on, Ortho?! This is the first I've heard from you having an interest in cosplay!”

Ortho wants to try to wake Idia up in a gentle way and to do so he mixes the reality of being a humanoid created by Idia with the act of being any entity or something trying to convince him that he is ‘the chosen one’ to save the world. But Idia keeps finding excuses for it, like it being some kind of prank or something, and he laugh it off. But eventually, continuing with that act, Ortho gets the reaction he predicted from Idia.

“A handsome young humanoid is asking me for help from inside my computer?! I've read literally 500 million light novels with this exact premise! Is it finally time for me to be the chosen one?!”

Ortho almost starts to laugh, but holds himself back.

“That's right, Idia. The time has come. Awaken... from this dream!”

“Dream? ...Hrk?!”

The dream begins to distort and Idia's head starts to hurt. He begins to remember that Ortho didn't grow up and enter Royal Sword Academy, he was a humanoid who attended Night Raven College with him. But it’s at that moment that his phone starts ringing with an incoming call from Ortho.

“Idy! (Nii-chan!) Don't let him fool you! That robo-Ortho is nothing but an impostor!”

“An impostor?” However, Idia continues to have visions of memories of reality. “Gah... What are... all these strange memories?!”

"That impostor's trying to brainwash you!” The dream Ortho insists. “Don't believe him!"

“I should've expected he'd have something in place for this.” The real Ortho says. “So when they're in danger of waking from their dream, the NPCs try to keep them inside. What a sophisticated autonomous spell. Guess Malleus isn't one of the top five mages in the world for nothing!”

“Stay right there.” The fake Ortho says. “I already called for help! But I'm still coming to save you, Idy (Nii-chan)!” And he hangs up.

“Hmm? Called for help?” The real Ortho questions. “Wait! If the darkness uses the people the dreamer likes to trap them here, then does that mean...?”

The door to Idia's room suddenly opens.

“Idia-senpai!” You enter the room, or rather, a version of yourself that Idia's dream created. And you were wearing Ignihyde's uniform. “Ortho called me... AH! What is that? Is this the impostor?”

“(Y-Y/N)!” Ortho stutters your name. “Wait! Why are you wearing Ignihyde's uniform?”

“Because Grim and I transferred here. Duh~”

“Hm?! And when was that?” Now Ortho was more curious to know more about that than to actually wake up his brother.

“When Idia and I started dating.”

“Wehehehe. And it even came with a bonus kitten.” Idia brags about it. “Best deal, ever. The best thing about being a Housewarden is being able to let them move into my dorm without anyone questioning it.”

“So you'd like them to transfer to Ignihyde? Is it so you don't have to go out to visit them?”

“DING DING DING!” Idia smiles enthusiastically talking about you. “Oh, c'mon, who wouldn't abuse their power to bring their little flower closer to them?”

“Little... Flower?” Ortho says almost astonished. He had never heard Idia speak like that about someone... real, at least.

Idia approaches you, or rather, the dream you, with an extremely confident smile and caresses your face. “My little flower~.” He holds your chin to turn your face towards his. “My little bird~.” he affectionately squeezes both of your cheeks with that hand. “My little nutmeg~”

“Cute aggwession.” Your-darknes-self warns between the lips compressed by the cheeks. Which didn't stop Idia from giving them a quick but strongly affectionate kiss.

‘I knew that Idia had a crush on (Y/N), but I wasn't expecting to see him so happy...’ Ortho thinks. ‘But I have to wake him up regardless!’

“Idia, that is not (Y/N). They are in Ramshackle dorm with Grim. And you never confessed your feelings to them. You barely have the courage to talk to them!”

“What? That's not... Okay, fine, but who doesn't get nervous just thinking about the possibility of being caught looking at their crush, let alone talking to them... Especially after practically kidnapping... Grim... URG!” His head starts to hurt again and the world starts to distort.

“He didn't need to confess to me.” Your-darkness-self said. “I confessed my feelings first.” They hold Idia's face to force him to look at them. “Don't listen to him, senpai~” The room gets darker and black goop starts to flood the room. “You don't need to leave your comfort zone to have me. I can do aaall the work for you... I'll jump into a whirlpool of souls if you need me to...”

Another figure forms from the black goop, a grown Ortho wearing the Royal Sword Academy uniform.

“And here I am too, Idy (Nii-chan). It'll all be okay now.”

“(Y/N)...? Ortho...?”

“Wait a second...” Ortho says. “Idia, does that black goop look like Ortho to you? No! Get away from there! Don't let the goop get you!”

“You don't need to think, Idy (Nii-chan). You're just tired from too much gaming. Get a little sleep.”

Idia begins to close his eyes, giving in.

“I don't think he hears me. Idia, no! IDIA (NII-SAN)!”

But Idia ends up being swallowed by the darkness.

When Idia opens his eyes again it was night and he was in the courtyard, dressed in his ceremonial robe. Malleus appears, also wearing his ceremonial robe, and tells Idia that it is almost time for orientation. Idia finds it strange, but he is almost ready to believe it and follow Malleus, until a ball of light appears in the sky and seems to be heading towards them. Idia panics because he thinks it's a meteorite that's going to destroy them, while Malleus simply wonders what that could be.

It was Ortho in his Cerberus Gear. Idia recognizes the Styx emblem and asks if that is a new powered suit his mom built, but Ortho can't explain anything at that moment because Malleus wants to put an end to that inconvenience and send Idia back into a deep sleep.

Malleus, in his Overblot form, and Ortho fight until the dream begins to shatter around them. Malleus withdraws, as his presence in that situation would no longer be necessary to destroy the little Shroud. In his panic, Idia begins to be swallowed by darkness again. Ortho tries to save him, but their mother's voice can be heard through the radio communicator in Ortho's gear, ordering him to get out of there. Realizing that the person in that suit was Ortho makes Idia's head hurt more and the darkness pulls him in harder. Until he is completely swallowed by that black goop.

After his fight in the underworld, and finally realizing that it was all a dream, everything goes dark again.

Lying down with his eyes still closed, he feels a kiss on his forehead. He begins to open his eyes slowly, as if he had just woken up and sees your face.

“Wakey-wakey~” Your-darkness-self says it in the cutest way you could possibly say it. But quickly, that changes. “Ugh, no, too cutsy. Don't make me do that again.”

“Hmm? What are you doing here?” Idia asks.

“Hum?! You make me be transferred to your dorm as soon as we start dating and you still ask what I'm doing here? What a boyfriend.” Your-darkness-self mocks. “Come on, Mister Housewarden, breakfast is ready.”

“Hum?! You make me breakfast?”

“Did you think I would trust you with that role, Chef Instant Noodles? Of course I am the one making you breakfast, for your sake and mine.”

“Aaaah... yeees, a hot significant other taking care of me... Every otako's dream... Heh... Hee hee... Ehehehehehee!”

“Even though I kind of like your psychopathic laugh, it still worries me. What’s the matter?”

“All those rare drops in my MMO...” Idia explains. “Pulling the triple SSR of my fave... Muscle Red never retiring from gaming, me attending orientation in persons... It was all a dream! Everything from start to finish was what I wished for! Classic otaku fantasy!”

“Huh? Wha? What are you...” Your-darkness-self tries to say, but Idia continued, talking over them.

“And In what world would my little brother EVER attend Royal Sword Academy? He wouldn't go to some bright, wholesome school full of guys so extroverted they make my stomach tie in knots.”

Idia's cell phone starts to vibrate.

“Hee hee... looks like someone got their cue to appear in the shot.” he answers the call with a sinister smile. “Ah... what perfect timing. Vil would be proud of you.”

“Hey... Hum? Vil?”

“Yeah, Vil Schoenheit. You know, the super beauty queen in charge of the Film Research Club. The club Ortho goes to.”

“Hm? What are you talking about? I'm not even in Night Raven College to attend that club. I-”

“No, you're right. You don't. I was talking about the humanoid Ortho, enrolled with me in Night Raven College, the school chock-full of SSR Epic Troublemakers. And then there's Phantom Ortho, down in the dark, gloomy Underworld. These are the only two brothers I have! And you are none of them!”

“What?! Wait, Id-”

“Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to do something I would normally avoid at all costs.” Idia finally looks directly at your-darkness-self again. “Resolve a matter in person.” And then, furious at his cell phone. “And I'll be submitting some very in-depth feedback to your customer support! GOODBYE, SIR.” he smiles in a frighteningly sinister way at your lookalike. “Now... about you...”

“Me? Idy-senpai, please listen to me.”

“Ah-ah-ah, sorry. I'm not into getting called cutesy pet names by anyone who's not a video game or anime character. With one single and unique exception.”

Your-darkness-self smiles seductively.

“Oh, no, no, no, no. Trust me, you have no reason to smile. Quite the opposite.”

“It's that stupid robotic copy of Ortho that's putting these things in your head, isn't it? Don't listen to-!”

Idia takes out his magic pen and makes ropes of black smoke form around Your-darkness-self to tie and gag them. By also trapping their legs, they lost their balance and fell to the ground with muffled complains.

“Hehe, cool trick huh? I've been practicing. This smoke is very useful for bringing things to me when I don't feel like getting up. Let's see if it can do the same with a person.” He make the black smoke take your look-alike to sit on his bed.

“Now I'm sure you're not the real (Y/N). They would never treat Ortho like that.” His sinister smile turns sweet for a moment. “In fact, I'm p. sure they're nicer to Ortho than to any other student.” The smile becomes disturbing again. “And looking at this face, knowing it's an impostor just irritates me more.”

He places his index finger on the impostor's chin to tilt their face slightly and seductively upward. “Using someone's crush as a puppet to manipulate them and get what you want from them. I'm not gonna lie, it's a really good strategy. And the best way to PISS ME OFF!” He aggressively grabs your look-alike's face by the cheeks while his hair turns red as he says this and his expression shows the deepest anger.

But soon after he becomes calmer again, or at least appears to be so, and lets go of your-darkness-self's face.

“Aaahh~ Yeah... It was really good to have (Y/N) with me... they are a quite cute otako fellow... and hot too when they get serious... But because they are such popular fave they deserve to have high standards. And not settle for a guy who barely has the courage to speak to them. They would never agree to do all this awesome things for me out of the blue and just because.”

He was smiling slightly talking about you, but then he gets annoyed again.

“I don't know what kind of otaku you had me for, but don't insult me by thinking that I'm one of those sick losers who wants a partner desperately in love with them simply because they exist. That's not only lame, but creepy as hell. A person who reduces their entire personality to be your significant other? What a turn off. Do you think I only like (Y/N) because they are pretty? Please, it takes a lot more than appearance to make me even remember a person.”

“I don’t know who's showing me this messed-up dream, if it is illusion magic or some evil syndicate's brainwashing headset. But let me tell you, your whole narrative sucks. If I can't have a happy ending, you just hit reset? ‘Yes, please meddle more!’ said literally no one, ever. Regardless of what the outcome is... Whether it counts as a happy ending is for ME to decide!”

He pauses for a moment to look at the terrified face of your look-alike.

“You know, the fact that this is a dream only makes things worse for you.” He says smiling. “‘Cause, you know, I'm a p. reasonable guy. If you were a real person I'd still try to resolve things more peacefully. But since I know you're not...” He violently grabs the thick smoke as if grabbing them by the collar and says with red flame hair “I CAN BURN YOU TO A CRISP! But not with that face...”

He grabs your-darkness-self’s face in a way that covers it with just one hand and starts burning it between muffled screams of pain that began to distort as the figure turned into black goop as well. When that was no longer your face, Idia squeezed it in anger and increased the flames until the figure melted into goop and disappeared into the ground.

Idia takes a moment to take a deep breath.

“You're there right, Ortho?”

“Welcome back, Idia.” Ortho reappears on Idia’s screen.

Idia apologizes for the hurtful things he said to Ortho and talks about how incredible he was in his mission. After a heartwarmingly little chat between brothers, Idia asks what in the world was actually going on?

“I understand everything now.” Idia says after Ortho's explanation. “Or at least, I wish I did. But learning Mom's seen everything on my PC was too of a shock to my system. All I've managed to process other than that is Malleus is some kind of ginormous cheater...?”

“Look, um, it was an emergency. Don't let it get to you, okay?”

“Easy for you to say! She's totally seen THAT now. And THAT... She's seen it all... *shock* She... SHE SAW (Y/N)'S FOLDER! SHE KNOWS ABOUT MY CRUSH!”

While Idia was lamenting about that, Ortho remembered that during one of the conversations with their mother...

“Hmm... Orthy... I really don't want to intrude on Idy's privacy, but... Hmm... does he have any friend at school that he or you never told me about?”

“A friend? I try to help him make friends, but I don't think he's ever considered any Night Raven College student as one. Why do you ask?”

“Oh, I just... that... that student without magic, (Y/N), I have almost no information about them, but... what do you think of them?”

“(Y/N)? I consider them a good person, especially compared to most Night Raven College students. They are also quite diligence and can be very caring. But why do you... ... Idia has a folder on them, doesn't he?”

“So, you know about Idy's crush?”

“Well, he never admitted it, but... I can read his vital signs when he talks about or is around (Y/N). I also know that he has already made some drawings and sketches of them.”

“Oh, I saw! They are so beaut- Huh, I mean...”

“I like (Y/N).” Ortho said smiling. “Idia once went to play some video-games in their dormitory lounge with some other students. And I can see that he feels very comfortable around them. (Y/N) respects Idia's space and time, but also likes to help me try to get him out of the room. They are very fun and attentive.”

Ortho didn't need to see his mother's face to know she had a huge smile behind her helmet.

“So why must I have my PC's contents laid bare for my mother to see?! It makes no sense...” Idia kept lamenting. “I just took 50 billion points of psychic damage, at least...” He loses strength in his legs and falls to the ground.

“It really was just an unfortunate accident. One nobody could have predicted...” Ortho says. “Don't worry though, Idia. Mom didn't make any comments about anything there...” Just that one small exception that Idia didn't need to know about.

“GAAAH!” he gets up. “Not low-key discretion! That's the LAST thing a young guy wants! If I didn't naturally incinerate blot, I'd absolutely be overblotting right about now!”

Blaming Malleus for this, Idia vowed to take revenge on him.

You, Grim, Silver and Sebek had just arrived at Ignihyde, or rather, Idia's dream, after Ortho had guided you there after leaving Lilia's dream.

Idia appeared and tried to explain a little of what was going on, until he remembered that he had not yet introduced himself to those two students from Diasomnia with whom he barely interacted with.

“I'm Idia Shroud, housewarden of Ignihyde.”

“Oh, of course! No wonder you looked familiar.” Sebek says. “You had a more... tabular form at orientation. This might be the first time I've had a proper look at you in person.”

“Oh, uh... Yeah. In the real world I attended remotely it seems...”

“I am Sebek Zigvolt of Diasomnia Dorm － freshman, class D, seat 33!” He said quite loudly. “And this is Silver. Same dorm, sophomore year! He always has that blank look on his face.”

“Eep! Talk about loud... Thought my eardrums were gonna rupture there. How do Malleus and his dormmates endure this decibel level at close range every day without ear damage...?” Idia says a little lower, while also thinking: ‘I hope (Y/N) didn't go deaf after spending so much time with him.’

“Sorry, Idia.” Silver apologizes. “I'll tell him to be more careful about that. Though I doubt you'd have to worry about ruptured eardrums in reality, considering we're in a dream － ah! Everyone, stay vigilant!” he suddenly shouts. “Idia, Grim, (Y/N)! Get behind me and Sebek!”

When he suddenly pulls you behind him, you lose your balance and end up bumping your back into Idia’s chest. As soon as this happens, the tips of his hair turned slightly pink. But even if he wanted to move away he wouldn't be able to because Sebek quickly joined Silver to cover you all and ended up making you crumpled against each other. Which made Idia get even more flustered.

“Mrah? What's the matter, Silver?” Grim asks trapped between you and him.

“If Idia's woken up from his dream, we should expect darkness to attack and try to pull him into an event deeper sleep.”

As Silver, Grimm, and Sebek talk about the possibility of Malleus appearing there at any moment, the physical pressure between you and Idia begins to increase and making it harder to breathe.

“Hrrrk... Pressure's... too much... can't breathe...!” Idia still tries to use his strength to create more space between you so that you can breathe too. The pink in his hair ends up disappearing as he is suffocating.

“Not to rain on your parade, but...” A familiar voice said. “We won't actually have to worry about Malleus Draconia or that black goop for a while.”

Ortho reveals himself and explains how they are safe in that dream. He also explains that he disappeared after guiding you there because he cannot appear in his normal form in Idia's dream because it triggers a critical error.

“So, I'll be sticking to a monitor display. Also... Idia's turning pale from oxygen deprivation. Could you please give him some room to breathe?”

Silver and Sebek walked away apologizing and Idia took a deep breath as if he had finally emerged from underwater.

“Whew, I almost set out on a journey to the Underworld... Thanks for the save, Ortho...”

Finally, it was time for Ortho to explain everything that had happened up until that moment. He and Idia tell you about his dream, but obviously hiding the part about your look-alike.

“So, uh... While you guys were chatting it up in Lilia's dream...” Idia says after Ortho said that they would need your help. “I was doing some brainstorming of my own. I've come up with a plan to escape this dream world － or rather, to do something about Malleus.”

“Operation Make Malleus Ugly Cry and Beg for Forgiveness?” You ask.

“Y-yeah, there you go.. Hee. Heehee.”

It may be a small detail that those who don't know Idia might not notice, but being able to understand him and his humor is a huge green flag. And Ortho knows this.

“Anyway, I threw together a video to go over the plan. Would you mind watching it?”

After they showed you the video and explained the plan, Sebek was ready to move on to the next dream. Until Idia warned that it would be a good idea for you to change your clothes so that when you enter your next dreams, the shock of wearing unfamiliar clothes would not be so great for the dreamer as to activate the defenses of Malleus’s spell. But since none of you can do it by yourselves, he installs an outfit-changing spell in your magestones.

“Here, lemme see your magical pens. Oh wait, you don't have one, do you, (Y/N)? Okay, I'll insert a chip with a technomantic program in your phone...”

While he was installing the ship he accidentally pressed one of the side buttons and your locked screen image appeared. It was the exact same image that Idia had on his tablet.

“HUH?! W-why do you have my voice call image as your background?!” Idia asks, surprised.

“Oh! Did I never tell you?” Ortho says. “Give me a second.” A sort of scanning sound is heard, as if he was looking for something in his memory files. “One result found.” he said in his robotic voice before speaking normally again. “The first time I was going to tell you, you were busy playing, so I ended up not doing it. I was talking to (Y/N) once and they said they thought your tablet’s image was cool. I asked them if they wanted a copy of the image for their phone and they said yes. That was a long time ago, though. It's good to know you still have it, (Y/N).”

“Y-you think it is cool?... I-In that case, I can customize an image for you.” Idia started talking excitedly. “I can make a version with a different color, it can even be pink if you want.” The more excited he got about it, the more confident he became and the faster he spoke. “And I can change the eyes too, I can turn them around and make them look like they’re smiling, or I can just rotate them a little bit like they're half-closed, like in an cool annoyed way.”

“Focus on the task!” Grim complained. “Don't you want us to change our clothes?”

“Uh-uh... Y-yeah... S-sorry, I’m on it.” He gets a little shy again.

If you tell him that you accept the offer and that you can talk about it later when that whole dream thing is sorted out, he'll give you that sweet little smile of his.

“There, installation complete.”

“Here you go, everyone!” Ortho says. “You can have your magical pens and smartphone back.”

“Hm? You said you installed something in my magical pen, but it seems no different to me.” Sebek comments.

“Each of you, face your implement of choice...” Idia explains. “And say: 'DREAMY MAGICAL MAKEOVER!'”

“WHAT?! What is this bizarre spell?!”

“You gotta say a cool catchphrase when you change outfits.” Idia smiles amusedly. “That's a staple of transformation scenes in children's anime. That was a joke, for the record. Or at least, half a joke... Thing is, spells should ideally specific phrases to avoid setting them off by accident. And I did make this for the benefit of a bunch of sprouts who can't even do basic outfit changes on their own. I'm busy enough with dev work as it is. So get on with it!”

Regardless of how you say it, Idia will secretly find it very cute, but if you say it shyly he will find it even cuter.

“You want me to save the video of this to share with you later, don't you?” Ortho discreetly asks his brother who confirms.

A screen appears in front of each of you with clothing options: School Uniform, PE Uniform, Labwear, Ceremonial Robes and Dorm Uniform. Ortho tells you to try tapping the outfit you'd like to wear.

You start by trying on the ceremonial robes or the labwear, but you wonder what would happen if you tapped the Dorm Uniform option, because Ramshackle doesn't have a Dorm Uniform.

“Maybe it was a default error.” Idia assumes. “Either nothing happens or there might be some weird glitch... or...”

“AAAH! WAIT!” Ortho and Idia say worriedly in unison after thinking of another possible outcome.

But it was too late and you had already pressed the button to find out. The clothes you had on... transform into the Pomefiore dorm uniform.

“It's random...” The brothers sighed in relief.

“What's wrong?” Silver asks. “Could something dangerous have happened?”

“N-no, just... d-don't worry about it... p-programming stuff.” Idia responds, trying to hide the embarrassment with a smile.

You tap it again and the uniform changes to the Heartslabyul one. Meanwhile, the others also tried their own menus to change clothes and Grim insisted that he also wanted to do that.

“Not like you really need it, Grim...” Idia says. “But I guess I could set it up for you as well.”

“Really?! Gimme, gimme!”

If you thank Idia for doing that for Grim, he will say it's no big deal with a mix of smugness and flusteredness.

While Grim is also having fun changing clothes, you tap the Dorm Uniform option once again and your Heartslabyul’s Dorm Uniform changes to... Ignihyde's. This surprises Idia who immediately sets his sights on you.

“(Y/N). look! All I gotta do is push a button, and I can change into all sortsa outfits!” Grim was changing outfits too quickly.

“Don't forget, Grim, these tools are strictly to assist the user.” Ortho warns him. “The magic for those outfit changes is still drawn from the one casting the spell. And (Y/N), you probably shouldn't go overboard with the smartphone tool either. But before you change your outfit again, can I ask you for something?”

You nod.

“Will you let me take a picture of you with Idia in your Ignihyde uniforms?” He asks in the most cutely convincing way.

Idia even takes a little jump in place, surpriced by that request as well. And he only gets even more flustered when you accept. He would be against that if it weren't for you.

“You two can be such normie sometimes.” Idia says with a shy smile.

You get closer to him and the tips of his hair turn a little pink again. And as soon as Ortho said he was going to take the picture, Grim says he wants to be in it too and jumps into your arms.

“It's funny.” You point. “Grim matches the uniforms.” You lift him up a little. “And your hair.”

Ortho laughs with you and Idia smiles amusedly too, while looking at you foundly.

“Aw, you should be in the picture too, Ortho.” You say.

“Don't worry, I can put myself in the picture through editing.”

“In that case, let's pose as if you were here too. This will make it look more natural when editing.”

Ortho is very happy with your idea and tells you that he will stand on the other side of his brother. He takes a picture of you next to Idia and holding Grim between the two of you.

“If at any point (Y/N) presses the button again and Diasomnia's uniform appears I can take another picture of (Y/N) with you two, Silver and Sebek Zigvolt, if you want.” Ortho suggests, to divert any suspicion from him and Idia.

“I think Lilia and Malleus would also like to see that too.” Silver says in a chuckle,and smiled slightly.

“I recommend setting your default to the Night Raven College uniform.” Idia returns to the main topic. “That one can cover most situations you'll be in.”

You all change into that uniform and were ready to move on to the next dream. After you leave with Ortho, part of his consciousness returns to Idia’s side to ask him something.

“If (Y/N) asks me for a copy of the photo... do you want me to edit your hair to remove the pink ends? Heh heh heh.”

And you can be playful too on top of that? You're number 3 on his list for favorite people…Jade and Azul are obviously before you

He likes to play pranks on you, and you do them back, it's mutual with your emotions sometimes and it's nice for Floyd. He rarely ever feels bored with you

You give up so many things for him. Don’t you know that’s a sort of weakness Shrimpy? Fine. I guess he’ll just have to protect you and always be around you

Finds it funny how impulsive you get. It's really entertaining to watch someone who was just scolding him for being so reckless to then being reckless yourself. It’s like you two share moods swings or something

But now you’re in a mood…so now he’s also in a mood. Domino effect. Shrimpy’s mad, then so is Floyd. Just how it works 🤷‍♀️

He’ll be ticked off with you over whatever it is, unless you’re mad at him, then he’ll just be all snarky back at you.

If you two even attempt to interact in your little moody fits, then they’ll be filled with yelling and bickering galore

You will always have to resolve a situation, but Floyd will eventually give in since you do make him happy

“Mmmm, Shrimpy!” Floyd singsongs as he comes into the lounge of Ramshackle, completely uninvited. You jump and look up from your papers you were working on, giving him a look that conveyed something on the lines of “the hell are you doing here?”

You could tell he was bored already, his demeanor not being too hard to decipher. He walks over to you and flops down on the couch, wrapping his arms around and squeezing.

“I’m bored. Let’s go beat some people up for Azul. It’d be fun!” He murmurs against your shoulder. “You can just watch. But it’s more fun if you’re there.”

“Not now, Floyd. Not ever really. If people owe Azul money you don’t have to beta them up...plus I have…homework.” You sigh out as his arms constrict you even more.

“What? You always have time for me. Cmonnnn, for me? You’ll make me cry, Shrimpy.” He pouts and nuzzles his head against yours.

You’ve had this homework for about a week. You’ve been pushing it off for other tasks you needed to get done and him annoying now was not helping one bit with getting it out of sight and out of mind.

“Not today. Aren’t you supposed to work a shift?” You grumble, your hands going to his arms and trying to pry him off of you.

“Yes. But I don’t feel like it. I came all this way and you’re trying to kick me out? You’re so boooorrriiiinggggg.” He huffs.

You turn your head to look at him. “Look. I don’t have time for this. I need to get my work done. You can go and take your ass somewhere else so I can have peace and quiet to do this!”

He’s stunned for a second, then he smiles. “Aweee, looky, why are you so mad? You can just do it another time—“

“Floyd. Leave. Get out of here. I. Have. Shit. To. Do.” You say sternly, finally managing to wiggle out of his arms.

Bickering and insults are thrown back and forth and he eventually goes quiet. He huffs and glares at you as he walks out, his feet stamping against the ground.

You can’t help but feel bad for what you did, you felt like you went maybe a bit too far, so after you finished your work, you decided to swing by Octavinelle and apologize.

He whines about how unfair it all was, but he accepts your apology. He gets it in a way.

You’re stuck with him for the rest of the time now. Have fun.

He loves the attention you give him and how you almost baby him in a way. It’s just adorable and also beautiful in its own ways

That sweet look you give him makes him swoon right on the spot. You’re truly a work of art in his eyes, dare he say that you have just a tad bit of shine to you that Vil has to him. He means it, even if it sounds harsh…

If he pops up out of nowhere, you gently scold him and tell him don’t do that, then you go and look him over before deeming he’s alright

He finds you attentiveness to his well being peculiar but he appreciates it so much. Guess what, he finds that so beautiful, obviously

But what is this? You dare try and be coy right back at him, a hunter? Now he’s even more immersed

“Grimmy, look, as much as I care for you, I honestly really don���t care for—“

Rook just appears basically from thin air and smiles wide. You lock eyes with him and let out a yelp as you back up and trip over an uneven tile in the pathway.

Rook, being him, catches you, but you smack him away and yell at him, spitting out strings of curses and insults.

“What the fuck?! Why did you do that? Get off of me you stupid— I hate you!” You huff as you manage to finally stand up and glare at him.

His smirk falters ever so slightly as his gaze on you softens. You knew you mate have said some bad things just because of that.

“I…I’m sorry. I didn’t mean that. You just…scared the absolute shit out of me. Did I hit you too hard? Please tell me if I did? I didn’t mean it I promise. I just got scared, and I was distracted and in my head—“ your attitude switches up almost instantly.

Rook l lives for this, though, the way your honeyed words just stream out. It’s too beautiful! And the way you apologizes to earnestly! Ahhh, makes him just swoon!

“Hey…are you ok?”

“Why, of course, Trickster.” He smiles even more brightly now. “My apologizes for frightening you so. That was not my intention, though that burst of passionate emotion was absolutely beauté! Magnifique!” He chuckles and keeps strict eye contact with you that’s actually pretty unsettling.

“Sure…thanks? So…you’re ok?”

“Splendid, Prefect.”

You nod your head and give him a small glare before you look back at Grim who’s cowering behind a bench, his ears flattened and his tail swaying as he also glares heavily at Rook.

“Yea…ok then. I’ll see ya later, Rook. Be safe.”

“Such caring ways. Your personality is truly gorgeous.”

This is oddly new for him at least, I mean isn’t he supposed to be the one who’s supposed to care. Sure it may be fabricated some most, but this is awkward…

He loves it though, secretly, the way that you check in on him and offer to help with all his duties. He eats it the fuck up

But there’s also this nagging feeling that he shouldn’t have your care or worry, like he’s not deserving of it. But, like mentioned, he enjoys it

He thinks you’re too caring in some ways and it ticks him off sometimes. He can carry himself, he has been, so lay off a bit for the future

He’s actually irked a little by the switch ups and he’s not so fond of them. He mainly tries to be perfect as to not make people mad so he’s kinda confused as to why you’re being like that, especially if that anger is targeted towards him

I mainly think he wouldn’t do anything to make you mad— besides overworking himself…

He’ll basically just try to avoid you

He doesn’t care that much or find your outbursts amusing like the others maybe do, thus why he just tries to avoid you and stay clear of your path if he’s not the one the emotions are directed to

If he is the one you’re mad at…he’ll just try and deescalate the situation, possibly make it worse with snippy comebacks, or just completely up and ignore you. One of those options, if not all three, he’ll do

“Jamil!”

He tenses up, his back muscles going taught as he stops stirring whatever he was cooking in the large pot at the moment. You burst through the kitchen doors, phone held in one hand as you finally take a breath in to calm your nerves.

“Why does Kalim keep spamming me about how you haven’t been doing well? Look I’m just…the calls are annoying. So what’s going on? Mind explaining.” You huff. Your shoes click against the linoleum tiles of the kitchen as you take a spot next to him. You lean against the counter and cross your arms.

Jamil has been overworking…again. But that’s not really anything new. You’ve tried to school his habits before but to no avail, it’s like it’s engraved into him or something. Kalim isn’t really helping all that much. One time he overheard a conversation between you and Jamil and he’s been informing you every time he notices something odd and or off with Jamil.

“Kalim was literally blowing up my phone. Y’know, if you took care of yourself a bit better than maybe I wouldn’t be spammed when Kalim sees you even yawn.” You narrow your eyes at him, your gaze critical.

“That’s not my fault. If you didn’t bring it up in the first place around him he wouldn’t be doing anything. You’re pointing fingers at the wrong person.” He hisses back, giving you and equal glare back.

You let out a puff of air and let your shoulders slump forwards. “Sorry. Look, I care. A lot. And I may get mad but…just put in a little more effort here to just stay alive a bit better each day.” You murmur.

Jamil’s gaze dies down and softens into a ponderous look as he puts all his attention back to the pot that’s steaming.

“You shouldn’t care.”

“But I do…”

“It’s kinda stupid. I can carry my own just fine. Calm down. You’re just overreacting over something so little.” He shakes his head.

“Everyone needs a little help every now and then. I’m just…kindly reminding you.” You shrug.

“If bursting in here and blaming me for Kalim being a nuisance is a “friendly reminder,” then I’m scared to see what other things you’ve got to say.” He sighs.

“Don’t get all smart with me. You know what I meant. Anyways…seriously. Save both of our asses here. Just go to sleep a bit earlier than usual. It’ll make a difference.” You smile at him fondly, that look he’s grown to have a love hate relationship with.

He rolls his eyes and finally lets his muscles destress. “You’re so stupid it’s sickening.”

“Well, at least I’m stupid enough to care.”

Home Transition 1: I saw those three brats were setting up a prank for Jamil. Did I stop them? Well, of course, I... pretended I never saw them.

Home Transition 2: Even the stitches on this outfit are part of the design. How spectacular it is to see a touch of uniqueness without sacrificing any of the chic style.

Home Transition 3: I find Jack-san's sprightliness rather surprising. It's astounding to see someone of that stature bounding and leaping through the air... And how is he able to speak, in the first place?

Home Transition - Login: I saw the vampires using their umbrellas even under the cloudy skies. Admirable, but somehow I don't think it's to maintain their appearance...

Home Tap 1: Following tradition is well and good, but sometimes it's necessary to appreciate newer innovations. Skully seems to me a little shortsighted.

Home Tap 2: Riddle was crafting decorations out of paper, but his hands moved so slowly and deliberately... I could feel myself getting frustrated just watching.

Home Tap 3: This outfit makes me look like a butler? Are you blind? I suppose the color scheme may be similar to that of a morning coat, but the design is completely different.

Home Tap 4: I saw Idia enjoying himself as he concocted some props for Halloween. I had no idea he could ever look so lively.

Talking about Leona life guard and the tweels teaching swimming lessons. Gotten me thinking about a AU of pool twst. LoL

Almost all the dorm leaders are lifeguards. Azul is in charge of rentals pool stuff. Idia being the pool service tec and Ortho helps him keep the pool clean.

Trey will teach young kids how to swim. Cater goes there to record videos of swim sports. Deuce was once banned but training to be assistant to life guard Riddle. Ace goes there to mess around.

Jack and Ruggie is assistants to Leona. Ruggie grab things thing for Leona like towels and drinks. Jack is serious and on watch all the time. Idia hates when all three gets into the pool as their hair/fur clogs up the drains.

Kalim is a party lifeguard. Luckily Jamil is there to save people.

Vil is very popular lifeguard, many single people and mothers hit on him. Rook sometimes helps out Azul at the rental store to get the correct swimsuits for people. Epel plays around with the few other first years.

Malleus often comes to a empty pool. As they forgot to tell him that it's close, or many don't want to be there in fear of him. Sliver is often find sleeping in a pool tube or on a pool chair. People had prank him with sunscreen a lot.

Lilia lurks in a dark corner with all of his protection on—sunglasses, sunscreen, sun visor, a beach towel draped over his pasty, pale body… Sebek follows Malleus to the pool and lingers around the lifeguard’s chair, shouting at anyone breaking the rules or causing a mild inconvenience for WAKASAMA 😤
