Jack Howl

Your camera was angled perfectly just enough to show you, your yoga mat, and the space where you usually demonstrated exercises for your chat.

“Alright guys” you said cheerfully, squatting down so you could glance at the comments scrolling up the side of your screen, “today we’re focusing on legs. We’re starting with some weighted squats, but don’t panic you can do these with body weight too.”

Your viewers sent a mix of encouragement, questions, and, of course, memes. But one comment suddenly caught fire in the chat

Chat:

Neko_: hold up… what’s in the back?? 👀

suns-out-sleeps-in: THOSE LOOK HEAVY AS HELL

tails1lord: no way she lifts those omg

jen_jen: they look really heavy!

You froze mid squat. Oh. Right. The dumbbells. The really heavy ones.

“Uh… yeah,” you said, trying to play it off. “Those are mine. I… totally lift those.”

The chat exploded.

Chat:

Jen_jen: PROVE IT

tails1lord: SHOW US

Neko_: bet she can’t do it 👀

You bit your lip, nervous laughter slipping out. “…Okay, fine. But don’t judge if I make weird faces doing it.”

Walking over to the corner, you crouched and wrapped your hands around the cold metal handle of one of the massive dumbbells. Deep breath. You can do this.

You pulled… And immediately felt your grip slip.

“Whoa—!”

The weight didn’t even get halfway up before it slipped completely from your hands, the momentum sending you tumbling backwards onto your mat with a very loud noise.

Before you could even reassure the chat that you were fine, you heard rapid footsteps.

“Y/N?!” Jack’s voice rang out from down the hall.

A blur of tall, broad shouldered wolf practically skidded into the room. His ears were perked, eyes sharp with concern as he crouched beside you. “Are you hurt? Did you fell? Something fell on you!?”

You sat up quickly, cheeks burning. “I’m fine, I just…slipped…”

That’s when you realized.

Jack was fully in frame. Shirt slightly rumpled from lounging, hair still messy, tail flicking behind him as he scanned you over for injuries.

Chat went feral.

Chat:

Jen_jen: WAIT WHO IS THAT

suns-out-sleeps-in: Oh my… hello big boy

Neko_: you’ve been hiding him from us???

tails1lord: Oh my gosh! Look at those muscles!!

Jack blinked, noticing the camera. “…You’re still streaming?”

You gave him a sheepish smile. “Yeah… surprise?”

His cheeks went red, but instead of bolting, he sighed and crossed his arms. “Figures you’d hurt yourself trying to show off.”

“Hey!” you protested.

He smirked faintly before helping you to your feet. “Next time you want to move something that heavy, I’ll do it for you. Those are not for you.”

“Wow, okay, strongman,” you muttered, but you didn’t miss how your chat was now spamming heart emojis and #CoupleWorkout.

Chat:

Neko_: THEY’RE SO CUTE

Jack gave the screen one last glance before shaking his head and muttering, “I’ll be in the kitchen… try not to break yourself again.”

The moment he left, you looked back at chat. “…So, uh… I guess you’ve met my boyfriend.”

The spam intensified.

You groaned. “Yeah, I’m never living this down.”

Ace Trappola

“Alright chat, we’re jumping into another round!” you chirped into your mic, fingers tapping rapidly on your keyboard as you loaded into the match. “And guess who’s joining us again? It’s everyone’s least favorite mod.”

Ace’s voice came through discord with a scoff. “Excuse you, I’m your best mod. The only one who deletes thirst comments before you see them.”

You snorted. “Okay, maybe you’re useful for that.”

Chat was already eating up the banter.

Neko_: i swear y’all better be dating

You ignored the last one, grinning mischievously to yourself.

The game kicked off, and the chaos began. Bullets flew, players screamed, and Ace was way too confident for someone who missed two headshots in a row.

You, on the other hand? Oh, you were on a mission. With a sniper in hand and a devilish little grin, you crept behind the in game building where Ace was camping, completely oblivious.

“Ace, where are you?” you asked sweetly. “Did you rage quit already?”

“I’m literally on fire right now. My kill streak’s insane!” he bragged.

You peeked around the corner and aimed. One clean shot. Headshot.

Ace’s character collapsed instantly.

“WHAT THE?!” he gasped.

Your chat exploded.

Chat:

k-m3t: OH SHE GOT HIM

Spade_card: sniped his ass LMAOOOO

kogane-twst: don’t let him live this down

angelbabyy111: she’s too powerful

You couldn’t help the laughter that left you. “Looks like you weren’t that on fire.”

Then Ace muttered, almost too naturally… “Ugh, babe, that was so unfair!”

Your hands froze.

Chat didn’t.

Chat:

Neko_: WAIT….

kogane-twst: did he just say…BABE???

Spade_card: stupid…

angelbabyy111: YOU TWO ARE DATING???

k-m3t: EXCUSE ME?????????

You stared at your screen, face heating up. “W-Wait, what? He didn’t say babe.”

“Yeah, I didn’t say babe,” Ace added quickly, voice an octave too high. “You guys heard it wrong.”

“Yup. Totally. Misheard. Definitely no babe here.”

You kept playing it cool until you saw one particular comment.

Chat:

Neko_: just admit it. y’all are 100% dating. the way he calls you babe and you roast him like a wife

Panic.

“Me? With him?” you said, laughing a bit too hard. “Ew! Never!”

Silence.

“Ayo! wait!!” Ace cut in, sounding wounded. “Ew?! What do you mean ew?!”

You blinked. “Ace...”

“No, no, no, don’t ‘Ace’ me! You could’ve just said no like a normal person! ‘Ew’?! That’s… traumatizing!!!”

“Ace, we were supposed to deny it!” you hissed into the mic. “Why would you react like that?! Now they know!”

“Well, excuse me for not wanting to be labeled gross!!”

“NOW they’re really gonna believe it!” you snapped. “You’re such a pain…”

“Yeah? Well, your aim is annoying!”

“I killed you once!”

“YOU CALLED ME EW!”

You sighed, rubbing your forehead. “Okay. Fine. Whatever. Yes. We’re dating. Are you happy now, chat?”

Chat:

You leaned back in your chair, groaning. “Can we go back to the part where I sniped him? That was a good time.”

Ace snorted. “Nah, we’re gonna talk about how you ew’d me.”

“I’ll do it again.”

“Yeah? I didn’t hear you call me ‘ew’ when we were making out!”

You nearly choked.

Chat lost it.

Azul Ashengrotto

“Look at this one!” you grinned, carefully holding up a delicate porcelain teacup for your camera. “Isn’t it gorgeous? Late 1800s design, hand-painted gold rim… oh, the craftsmanship!”

Your room looked like a tiny museum, shelves behind you lined with old clocks, porcelain dolls, strange little trinkets, and a new velvet covered box waiting to be opened.

Chat:

waitlexist: omg that teacup is BEAUTIFUL

yuu-twisted: girl your collection is insane 👀

Your smile froze. The dreaded question.

“…Oh, um,” you stalled, putting the cup gently back down. “You guys don’t really want to know that, do you?”

The chat spammed YESSSS.

You glanced nervously at your door, then leaned in close to the mic, voice dropping to a whisper. “…It was 3,200 thaumark.”

The number had barely left your lips when a voice roared from outside your room “HOW MUCH?!”

You jumped so hard your chair nearly tipped. The door flew open, and in stormed Azul, glasses slightly askew, looking like he’d just aged ten years in five seconds.

You immediately braced yourself. “Azul, I-listen, it’s not as bad as it sounds—”

“Three thousand two hundred thaumark?” he repeated, pinching the bridge of his nose. “On one item? My pearl…”

But then you held out the teacup with trembling hands. His eyes flicked to it… and suddenly softened.

“…Is that… a genuine 18th century porcelain set?” He stepped closer, reverently taking it from you to examine the detail.

You blinked. “…Yes?”

All at once, the scolding melted into awe. His lips curled into a smile as he traced the gold rim with his thumb. “The preservation… the artistry…” He sat down beside you, leaning toward the camera without even noticing. “Do you realize how rare it is to find one in this condition? This is practically a treasure!”

Your chat exploded.

Neither of you noticed, too swept up in your little bubble. You grinned at him, sliding over the velvet box. “That’s not all. Look! I also got this pocket watch. Mid 1800s, still ticks!”

His eyes lit up like a child’s at a candy store. “You’re joking. Show me!”

And just like that, the two of you were chattering excitedly, comparing notes on rarity, craftsmanship, history. Azul was leaning right into frame, glasses catching the ring light as he carefully inspected each antique with you, occasionally smiling at how happy you were.

It wasn’t until you reached for another item and caught sight of your streaming screen that your stomach dropped. You froze.

“…Oh. Azul?” you whispered, grabbing his sleeve.

“Hm?” He was still inspecting the watch.

“…We’re live.”

He blinked, finally turning toward the scrolling storm of chat messages. His smile stiffened. “…Oh.”

You gave him an apologetic look. “…So… surprise?”

The corner of his mouth twitched between mortified and resigned. “…Well. I suppose the secret’s out.”

You buried your face in your hands, groaning. Azul sighed, placing the watch carefully back on the table before muttering

“…If I’m going to be exposed like this, at least let them know I haggled down my last acquisition to half the asking price.”

You peeked at him, giggling despite the embarrassment. “Chat, you heard the man… he’s just as bad as me.”
