Shout out to selfshippers who’s F/Os are dead in their canon.
It’s ok to be upset about their death and to grieve. You’re allowed to wish they were back and there was more content of them, even if you know it’s not going to happen.
Your F/O would be alive with you. They know you would never let anything happen to them. You two are living perfectly happy, I promise. :)

one of the tragedies of Jamestown as a show being cancelled is that it had already shown Mattachanna (Matoaka's sister who raised her) but we didn't really get to see her, and then they had actually casted an actress to play Matoaka, but they never finished to release those scenes, and it would've been one of the first times we actually saw Matoaka as a child in tv/film and the actual age she was when the English arrived

“THE LIBRARIANS” COME HOME FOR THE “NEXT CHAPTER”
AS THE SHOW MOVES TO TNT FOR A 2025 PREMIERE
Los Angeles, CA - August 23 – In a thrilling development for fans of the beloved TV series
"The Librarians," Electric Entertainment, the Los Angeles-based production and distribution company, has revealed the exciting news of the spinoff, "The Librarians: The Next Chapter," making a triumphant return to its roots at the original broadcaster TNT.
Dean Devlin states, "Our comeback to TNT with this franchise holds immense significance for us and we are thrilled by TNT's dedication to fans by offering them the continuation of one of their beloved fantasy series."
“The Librarians: The Next Chapter” is a spinoff of the original TV series “The Librarians,” that followed the adventures of the custodians of a magical repository of the world’s most powerful and dangerous supernatural artifacts. The new series centers on a “Librarian” from the past, who time traveled to the present and now finds himself stuck here. When he returns to his castle, which is now a museum, he inadvertently releases magic across the continent. He is given a new team to help him clean up the mess he made, forming a new team of Librarians. The new series stars Callum McGowan (Jamestown), Jessica Green(The Outpost), Olivia Morris (Hotel Portofino) and Bluey Robinson (Britannia). Caroline Loncq (Mammals) guest stars. Christian Kane will reprise his role as “Jacob Stone” in a Guest Starring role.
“The Librarians: The Next Chapter” is produced by Electric Entertainment. Dean Devlin serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson of Electric Entertainment. Noah Wyle serves as producer. Mark Franco of Electric Entertainment and Jonathan English of Balkanic Media also produce.
The Librarians franchise started off as a compilation of made-for-TV movies featuring the titular librarian Flynn Carsen in 2004’s “Quest for the Spear,” 2006’s “Return to King Solomon’s Mines” and 2008’s  “Curse of the Judas Chalice.” The movies did so well, TNT picked up the concept for a TV series, “The Librarians” that aired for four seasons between 2014 and 2018.
Sonia Mehandjiyska, Head of International Distribution and Nolan Pielak, SVP, International Distribution and Co-Production at Electric Entertainment will be handling International Sales for “The Librarians: The Next Chapter.” Steve Saltman, Head of Domestic Sales for Electric Entertainment will handle digital rights alongside TNT.
About Electric Entertainment Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, Electric Entertainment is an independent studio headed by veteran producer Dean Devlin along with his partners Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson. Electric Entertainment also houses acquisitions and sales divisions, with domestic sales headed up by Steve Saltman and the international division headed by Sonia Mehandjiyska. Electric also has a satellite office located in Vancouver, Canada.
Among Electric’s hit television series are “Leverage: Redemption” the spin-off continuation of “Leverage,” which ran for five seasons on TNT.  Both series are currently streaming in the U.S. and U.K. on Amazon Freevee. Season 3 of “Leverage: Redemption” is currently in post-production for Amazon Prime Video. “Almost Paradise” is currently streaming on Amazon Freevee after having premiered on WGN America. Season 2 of “Almost Paradise” premiered in July 2023 on Amazon Freevee in the U.S and U.K. Electric’s new series “The Ark” premiered in February 2023 on SYFY. Season 2 of “The Ark” premiered in July 2024. Other Electric series include “The Librarians” which ran for four seasons on TNT. A new spin-off series, entitled “The Librarians: The Next Chapter,” is currently in post-production. “The Outpost,” which premiered its 4th season on The CW in 2021, is now streaming on Amazon Freevee.
Electric’s Feature Films have included “Bad Samaritan” starring David Tennant and Robert Sheehan, and most recently “The Deal” starring Sumalee Montano and Emma Fischer. Electric also acquires, distributes and sells worldwide rights to Electric’s produced and acquired content, as well as theatrical films from around the world, including “Blood On The Crown,” starring Harvey Keitel and Malcolm McDowell, and Rob Reiner’s historical biopic “LBJ,” starring Woody Harrelson.

Your heart is thumping rapidly in your chest as you stand with the welcoming crew of NASA. Today is your first time seeing your husband, Ed, in over six months. Even in the South, it’s a bitterly cold December, so you pull yourself further into your coat. You cross your arms to keep in some warmth as you giddily bounce on the balls of your heels. Gordo and Danielle are close by, waiting to welcome their friend and colleague home as well. You can’t imagine what they went through together up there, but you know better than to ask.
Ed has to be cleared by NASA before making his first appearance since splashdown, so everyone is waiting as patiently as possible despite the tedious process. The press is everywhere, and you’ve been asked several questions. You never minded answering harmless questions to the media but still kept to yourself quite a bit. You and Ed liked your lives to be kept somewhat private.
The sound of clapping begins at the start of the crowd to your left, mission control coming out of their pit, and the landing crew to shake hands with Ed. You scan the area, waiting to spot your husband. You finally do, but he doesn’t see you yet. You swear your heart feels like it’s going to explode. Ed finally finishes shaking hands with the crew and isn’t too far from you now. His eyes dart across the crowd, looking for someone- looking for you. His eyes meet yours, and for a second, everything stops.
You start walking over to him, then begin briskly picking up your pace until you’re running over to Ed. You can hear the sounds of cameras popping as you dart to your husband, who looks over to you and opens his arms just in time to catch you mid-run. He spins you around in his arms as you bury your face into his neck. Your arms are wrapped tightly around his neck as you’re afraid to let go as if he’d vanish at any second, like this was all a dream. But it’s not; it’s real, and you can feel Ed’s strong arms supporting you. You take your time breathing in his scent that had long since disappeared from his pillow and clothes at home. You pull away from his neck, tears streaming down your cheeks as you grab ahold of Ed’s face, looking him closely in the eyes for the first time in ages.
“I love you,” you choke out, “so much.”
“I love you too,” Ed grins, leaning in to give you the kiss you’ve been waiting so long for.
Everyone cheers and claps as you and Ed laugh into the kiss. He lets you back down onto the ground, his arm immediately snaking around your waist protectively as he leads both of you over to Gordo, Danielle, and the rest of the astronauts waiting. The entire time Ed speaks to them, you can’t help but beam up at him, watching as his face contorts into a laugh before he hugs Gordo and his other friends. Ed is finally back, and you couldn’t be happier.

Abubakar Salim and Clinton Liberty portray Alyn of Hull and Addam of Hull – characters we'll be seeing more of in the remaining episodes of HotD Season 2.
[N]not only do the pair play bastard brothers in the new series of House of the Dragon, but the experience was so intense that they have become chosen family in real life. “It was a journey we started together,” says 26-year-old Liberty, for whom House of the Dragon represents a significant step up in scale after grounded Irish dramas such as Normal People and Holding. “And we bonded over how crazy it all was. Every day we’d think we were getting used to it, then it was just like … what is going on? Is this real? Are you sure?” [ ... ] Alyn is a sailor, a consummate seaman whose moment of glory came when he rescued his Lord, his Captain and – it’s hinted pretty strongly – his father, Lord Corlys, from drowning. Addam, meanwhile, is a shipwright, gainfully employed in the harbours of Driftmark. Both characters are more down-to-earth, more working class (if such a term existed in Westeros) than the Royals and blue-bloods we’re used to encountering. For 31-year-old Salim, a seasoned player in big-budget shows such as the historical drama Jamestown and Ridley Scott’s sci-fi series Raised By Wolves, the partnership with Liberty rekindled a love for his profession. “I may not have seen it all,” he admits, “but I’ve seen enough to be like: ‘OK, here’s another cool set.’ I wasn’t necessarily jaded, but it’s like you’re eating chocolate for the 100th time. You know you’re going to enjoy it. With Clinton, it was like this was the first time he’d ever had chocolate. He was in absolute awe. That excitement was really infectious.” He is not exaggerating: months after shooting wrapped, Liberty is still giddy. “The scale was so massive,” he beams, recalling the bustling Driftmark harbour set at Leavesden studios where the pair filmed their early scenes. “I mean, they built a full-size ship. And a whole village. For the first few days, I just had to give myself permission to nerd out. It was everything I wanted to do, as a kid who dreamed of being an actor.”
Clinton Liberty has rubbed elbows in the past with another ASoIaF actor.
“I worked with Conleth Hill [who played Lord Varys in Game of Thrones] on Holding, and the whole time we were filming I was asking him about it. What’s Kit Harington like? What’s the world like? I was such a fan. And I’d do these affirmations. I used to wake up every morning and say: ‘One day I’m going to play a lead character in an HBO show. I’m going to be a character like Jon Snow.’ I said it every day for two years. I was just talking to the wind, really. Then lo and behold … ”
Abubakar Salim has been a game developer in addition to his career in acting.
For Salim, the parallels between acting and game development could not be clearer. “It’s all world-building,” he says. “Jumping into these fantastical worlds, be it through a video game or a TV show, and using that to explore human emotions and human truth. My game is all about the journey of grief, it was inspired by the loss of my father. Then in House of the Dragon, my character experiences the loss of a parental figure in a different way, which is really interesting.” Other parallels between the worlds of TV and video games are less welcome. Salim recently posted a video on X railing against the racism still rife in gaming, and he is well aware that similar attitudes exist in television. “It’s been said before, but there’s this idea that you can suspend your disbelief with dragons, but when it comes to a Black guy with white dreads you can’t handle it?” he says. “You know, football was rife with racism, and it still is, but now you’ll get your season pass banned, you’ll get kicked out because it’s no longer tolerated. I think we need more of that for artists and creatives.” Overall, though, he has been heartened by the response from the House of the Dragon fans, and is still buoyed up by his experience working with Liberty.
Both actors are listed at IMDB as being in the cast for the remaining three episodes of Season 2.

Chapter 14 - Genesis
Tumblr media
“Silas will be excited to come home to a son when he returns today.” Pepper spoke, his eyes flicking between Alice and the baby. “He will,” Verity beamed, lightly leaning over and nudging the new mother. “I’ll run into town and wait for him. I’ll tell me to race home as soon as I see him.” With a quick hug to Alice and Jeanne, Verity left, a noticeable bounce to her step as she took off, bolting from the open doorway. The three adults watched her go with a laugh. “I think she’s more excited than Silas will be.” Jeanne joked, shaking her head. Pepper muttered in agreement, slowly pulling his gaze from the door and back to his nephew. “I ought to go with her; my uncle and aunt requested to see me…” It had been a reluctant statement. Before Silas and Henry left days ago to venture upriver to trade with the Pamunkey, Farlow had come to the Sharrow farm to inform her that the governor and his wife had formally requested her presence, which she’d ignored for four days. “Behave yourself.” Alice lectured, her eyes narrowing on her friend’s back, but Jeanne waved the warning off. Jeanne had no intention of playing nice with her uncle and aunt.

Black Moon
It’s been twenty-two days since Commander Napoleon Solo has seen another living soul. The tell-tale signs of the Soviet base, Zvezda, on the other side of the crater don’t really count—rovers, construction, whatever. He still hasn’t seen a person ever since Jones and Teller left him behind as the sole American on the moon.
There’s a knock at the door.
(An AU based on the TV series For All Mankind. A cosmonaut shows up at the door of Jamestown base, and Napoleon's solitary life on the moon is about to get a lot more interesting.)
Read it on AO3 (E, 6k)

Think my ask may have been eaten :( if not, then just ignore this, but any Face whump rec? (TV show not film!) Either good episodes or fics 😍
Oh boy you bet I do!!! Gosh I adore Faceman (and tv show over movie EVERY DAY!!!)
For episodes watch these:
1x03 Children of Jamestown. Face gets himself knocked out and they have to half carry him to a nearby house.
2x21 Deadly Maneuvers. He gets kidnapped and tied to a chair
3x11 The Bells of St. Marys. Some emotional background for him
3x25 Incident at Crystal Lake. gets shot in the chest and knocked backwards out a window and is forced to dive into a lake. He's wearing a bullet proof vest so much damage
4x19 Beneath the Surface
5x05 Theory of Revolution. Gets himself purposefully kidnapped where he's manhandled and punched repeatedly
5x08 Family Affair. Lots of good emotional stuff. Leads to a fight between him and Murdock.
and the best for last (literally. it's the last episode) 5x13 Without Reservations. The episode where face is shot in the gut, held hostage with Murdock and Frankie and nearly dies and is without a doubt my favorite episode.
As for fanfictions I have many lol. Check out my Faceman page on my fanfic masterlist! Here's the link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jfJ8rHwvGCzmCfwJolr925mSCjcR5TS0TDPlCnzCOEY/edit#gid=1660247148 (I suggest opening on desktop. Mobile doesn't like it cause its big)
There's like 80 fics linked on the Faceman page alone lol. If there's any trouble with the link let me know!
