y'all ever think abt how it was julie having the affair and it is even said multiple times that she was the one who left him, yet wilson was still the one who left their home and moved in with house. like. he couldn't bear to stay in their home alone. he immediately ran to house and stayed on his couch for weeks. suffered through his pranks and his laziness and his manipulation. telling him he wants him gone while sabotaging his attempts to leave. and he only left once he got a girlfriend again.

When James woke up and turned to his side, he was made painfully aware that Lily was still in his bed, her back facing him.
For a second, he considered lying down there, still, and maybe wrapping his arms around Lily, pressing their bodies together. However, he decided that the sensible thing to do was make breakfast for both of them.
Ever since they’d started seeing each other, this was the first morning he’d woken up and she was still there, he thought, as he cracked two eggs in a pan and mixed them together.
How come she wasn’t at work? James turned on his phone and checked the time. 10:24 AM. Then his eyes fell on the date — it was a Saturday. Right, then, that’s why.
He cut up some vegetables and put then in a wok pan, pouring some soy sauce over them and stirring them from time to time.
“Good morning.”
James turned his head, and he was looking at Lily, wearing only a pair of underwear and his t-shirt, the white t-shirt that he had decided that would be not a part of his pyjama attire for the night, which was why he was only wearing a pair of sweatpants. Her hair was tousled and she did not look like the put-together woman he had first met in the office.
And fuck, she looked good.
Lily kissed him, her carefully manicured fingers wrapping around his bicep. James returned it, eagerly, picking her up and putting her down on the counter, their mouths moving together. He placed his hands on her hips; her legs wrapped around him, her hand tangled in his hair. James rolled his tongue, her lips parted, which made her nails scrape at his scalp.
“What’re you doing?” She asked, throwing her hair over her shoulder as she looker into the pans.
“Soy vegetables and omelet,” He grinned, stirring the former. “Didn’t know what you liked for breakfast, so I thought I’d make you try something that maybe’s new to you.”
“My limited time resources in the morning usually allow for milk and cereal,” Lily snickered, swinging her legs. “Considering I have to be at work early.”
“Well, then,” He said, jovially, rummaging through the cupboard and picking up two plates, “let’s have a real breakfast together, shall we?”

So I was rewatching the hbomb plagiarism video to get some chill morning embroidery time in and I got to the bit about Radclyff Hall and her book, The Well of Loneliness, about lesbian WW1 ambulance drivers, and the video says all of her books were ordered burned, but I was curious and fam. It’s canon that Dick at least knew about Calvin! There’s a line in the Talon comic where Batman tells Dick about the Talon spotted in Gotham City and that he found out his identity is Calvin Rose. And Dick actually steps up beside Bruce then (despite his vehement refusal to want anything to do with this case beforehand) and says something along the lines of “Wait… that name sounds familiar…”
And since it’s also canon that they lived at the circus at roughly the same time and age i totally also headcanon they were friends! Two gremlin children with extraordinary talents ✨
