If only shippers would keep calm and remember that - except some incest or underrage ones - their ship isn't problematic at all. It's pretending that it's canon and trying to force others to adopt it which is the problem.

You have no business trying to guilt trip, insult, threaten or gaslight anyone to make them ship the same characters as you, and create content for the ship. You also aren't allowed to harass the creator or any other staff member just to try to make them make your ship official.

Winx Hottake: Timmy is best Specialist (not Brandon or Nabu)

Someone requested this hottake and since it’s post Valentine’s day I felt it was kinda fitting. Happy late Valentine’s day Timmy because you’re officially best boy.

There’s no argument Timmy is the most unproblematic king in Winx and deserves more attention because of how much of a good boy he is. Not only did he click with Tecna from the first time they met, he also wanted to talk about science and tech which they were both interested in. And after she’s mad at him for being a coward he makes a comeback by devising a plan against the Trix during the camping/Charmix earning episodes of season 2 (ngl Charmix was rushed af).

We all know Sky is scummy as hell and Riven’s against the world. So, what about Brandon, Nabu or even Helia who for some claim the best boy spot?

Brandon is very chill don’t get me wrong but he did give Mitzi his phone number, even if it was a joke. And not only did she think he was in love with her but she also used that number to stalk the Winx hanging out with Andy’s band and send a video to him which prompted more drama between the Specialists and Winx in season 4. Plus he could have told her “No sorry I have a girlfriend and you’re not going to change that” to Mitzi but I guess the plot demanded a singing competition. There was a lot which was Mitzi’s fault but he’s not innocent in all this.

Let’s not forget how Nabu STALKED Aisha and when he was caught decided to be chill about it. @calissarowan theorized he wasn’t bothered because he grew up sheltered and didn’t know any social cues or what to not do in a situation like this, and it’s a solid theory that explains a lot, but stalking is stalking, and Winx has a weird romanticization of it until season 4. Also season 4 Nabu somehow has his shit together after falling for Aisha and their relationship became so so boring as they’re the perfect couple.

Helia from the start of season 2 only existed to give Flora a love interest and nothing else because outside of loving her and being a romantic “pacifist” he doesn’t have much going on.

So that’s why Timmy is the best out of all the Specialists. If you prefer the others that’s fine, I’m just sharing my essay of an opinion, but I need more people who believe in Timmy surpermancy.

Final redesign for her casual with the before and after.

Her wings are now more fantasy than close to the real machao ones, the red was replaced by the same blue as the rest of the details. And are also bigger, as it still need to carry her.

It's not really visible with the coat but due to her lore she's supposed to be underweight, so less curves even on the flattering parts ( pretty sure she's not happy about that change)

The coat is now more on the pastel side and the leather armor piece is gone, replaced by a quilted area in a slightly darker tone.

The fur collar is way wider and protective. Also the coat is fur lined for extra warmth.

The belt is larger, almost on the corset side.

High ponytails are everything.

Once gain more warmth with full gloves instead of fingerless ones.

The tight high boots are now more detailled and with higher heels as she has wings and isn't forced to walk. And has a sub layer and coloured bootlace with tassels.

The freckles are more visible.

The makeup is more natural, with lighter lips and simple khôl.

Her metal colour is the less wintery thing of the whole design, an old silvery gold instead of a silver metal, as a reminiscence of her very first design (older than the old one here)

The eyes are finally made more lore accurate.

(wingless because I need to rework the wings for it to be less sketchy) Alia's updated casual outfit.

Basically getting rid of the 'armour' leather part, of the red parts of the outfit and giving a blue undertone to the greys in order to fit the Winter kingdom theme ( her book and documents has the canon winter colours, her palette is more on the blue side rather than purple) except the lighter one which has more golden undertones as it's supposed to metallic and distinct. Return of the high heels as the fairies tend to fly so heels wouldn't be a problem in their case. And no more deep neckline anymore as it didn't suit the culture. Her coat and boots have the same wrap system and the coat is lined with fur for extra warmth.

No actually I find it so weird that people are so insistent that Kuvira simply has to be a lesbian and she never loved Baatar Jr. Like I also am a sapphic Kuvira believer, and you don't have to like Baavira but what is the obsession with Kuvira being a lesbian specifically.

Argumets about Kuvira never truly caring for Baatar ring kinda hollow because he honestly seems like the only person she actually did care for. Oh she tried to kill him? That doesn't really mean she didn't love him. She just valued her empire over him, which is very in line with Kuvira's characterisation thus far.

Honestly it's not that she didn't love him she's just a shitty person.

Because girls need to see more than one type of female character in their stories. We don't want girls to see "damsel-in-distress housekeeper" as their only option, but its equally dangerous to show them the currently-popular flavor of "take-charge Strong Female Character" as the only acceptable kind of woman to be.

Because Snow White is confident. While the Queen is obsessing over her own insecurities, Snow White is going through her day completely comfortable with who she is.

Because Snow White is skilled. While the Queen's treatment of her is unjust, Snow White's acceptance of her work as a scullery maid makes her, not just an idle princess, but a working woman. She has cleaning and cooking skills that are recognized as valuable contributions to society. She is then able to use those skills when she needs a place to stay--instead of just a helpless damsel-in-distress who has to beg for a place, she is someone they want to have living with them because she has valuable skills to offer.

Because Snow White is kind. She is so kind that animals immediately trust her, that a hardened assassin can't kill her, that dwarves love her. She is sensitive to the feelings of others rather than embittered by her own fears. She is friendly to everyone she meets, showing interest in their lives and concern for their problems.

Because Snow White is a caretaker. Though young and mistreated, she is always looking to care for others. She immediately comforts a lost little bird. When she finds a cottage belonging to what she believes to be lonely orphans, she takes it upon herself to make their home comfortable. She even takes this a bit too far in setting rules for the dwarves' household, which offers depth to her character. She does take charge, but instead of seizing power like the Queen, Snow is looking to serve others and seeks their good.

Because Snow White is brave. After her panicked flight through the forest, she is sharp enough to recognize that her fear made the situation worse than reality, and she consciously decides to adopt a cheerful, hopeful outlook.

Because Snow White is intelligent. She's a good-enough judge of character to recognize a worthy love interest when he appears (and unlike certain princesses, she's right about it). She recognizes when her fear makes things worse than they are and is able to make better plans for the future. She is able to coordinate a housecleaning effort among a huge variety of untrained forest animals.

Because Snow White is humble. She is willing to take on the humblest work in the castle and is not humiliated by it. She asks the animals and the dwarves for help when she needs it. She even recognizes the need for prayer.

Because Snow White is good.

Because she is innocent.

Because she is patient.

Because she is loving.

Because little girls should learn to be all those things, and Snow White is a character who shows them what that looks like.
