R.I.P. Irv Gotti.
A lot of people only know Irv for running Murder Inc with Ja Rule, beefing with 50 Cent/G-Unit, and his back-and-forth with Ashanti about their professional and romantic relationship. But he produced a lot of your favorite classic songs and discovered some all-time great artists in Hip Hop and R&B. Do your homework on his life and career. The Murder Inc documentary he did with BET a few years ago is a good start.
Around this time next week, we (really me because y'all act like y'all don't listen to the nigga) will be tuned in to the new Drake & PARTY album. It was delayed for a few months, so I'm excited to hear what they've cooked up. I hope the album is in the bag of Members Only, Since Way Back, Wednesday Night Interlude & With You.
That Central Cee album is still in heavy rotation. I don't know shit about UK Hip Hop, but I feel like a Central Cee & Skepta song should be a very big deal. To my knowledge, this is their first time doing a collab with each other. And aren't they the two biggest rappers from that country?
I saw this TikTok the other night that made me remember this Jay Critch record and how much I loved it. I've never heard it at a party, but I wish I did. Critch was one of the bright spots of artists from this city during the late 2010s.

I don't know if anyone has seen this but an unreleased track of ems from the early 2000s got leaked. It's called smack you and in the track he heavily disses ja rule and takes shots at Suge for being involved in 2pac's murder. I saw some comments the video where people were saying that Dre told em not to release the song becuase it would've gotten him killed. I listened to the diss and holy crap it is brutal.
