This art is so amazing and it made me think of a story prompt idea for the scenario of this artwork and the original cover art as well!

Bernard is invited to attend a dinner event by one of his culinary teachers. This event is being hosted by a famous chef and anyone lucky enough to be invited is expected to dress up. However, Tim obtains information that Mad Hatter is possibly planning to crash the event and kidnap the famous chef along with a number of hostages.

So that night, Red Robin swings onto the rooftop of the venue in preparation to keep a watchful eye on it. He hasn't seen Bernard in his suit yet and Bernard makes his way to the rooftop to see Tim before the event starts. That's when this art happens 😊

ozdust ballroom scene is so tender to me not just because of the dance scene but because of what happens directly after.

elphaba, taking glinda's hand and running off with her together, back to their shared room.

sure, the shiz students are reveling and doing elphaba's little dance that they learned and they seem to no longer ostracise elphaba, but for her. all she wants is glinda.

they don't stay and chat with anyone. hell, glinda doesn't even bother telling fiyero where she's gone! they're both so caught up in each other and it's almost a confession scene.

glinda mirroring elphaba's moves. it's her telling elphaba that they're the same. their feelings for one another (be it platonic or romantic) are shared. so elphaba, who has spent her entire life being isolated and jeered at, is finally seen by not just anyone but the most popular girl at school.

and what does she do? she takes her hand and runs back with her to the shared comfort of their room. she doesn't want to share glinda with anyone else anymore. from that moment on, it's just going to be about the two of them.

so I have this shawl, and it's making me think about fiber arts and the decline in quality I've noticed as someone who doesn't successfully complete a single one. is there a way to finish the edges so it will quit unraveling every time I wear it or someone looks at it funny? right now I'm leaning towards folding the edges over twice and hemming it down, but if someone knows of something more aesthetic (but still at the level of confident beginner with no vocab), I'm all ears.
