My two greatest character flaws are that I'm cranky and lazy.
My third greatest character flaw is the acute lack of compassion for people who smuggle exotic animals (like a serval) into a country where they are illegal (like norway) because keeping one as a pet is 'their dream' and then throw a pity party when said animal is seized and at risk of euthanasia. I'm sorry pal but you did that.
#maybe your ~dream~ to have an animal shouldnt outweigh the health and safety of that animal#just a thought#i feel mostly the same abt people who import illegal dog breeds. regardless of whether i think the law is unfounded#or how hard it is to actually accurately manage#there is no way you went through the hassle of importing an apbt to norway without finding out its a banned breed. that is a choice you mad#so if you had to smuggle a baby african feline. across the goddamn border. only for the authorities to go#'hey. thats not allowed'#then those are the consequences of your actions and not a whole lot else#you can disagree with the rules in the world you live in but that doesnt make you exempt from them#sorry for the animal! the owner not so much.

#horizon zero dawn#hzd remaster#hzd photomode#hello i am (temporarily? work will eat me one of these days) back#honestly didn't play much horizon lately#mostly control and the odd glacier pic session#felt a little burnt out#but. now the remaster is out i'm being reminded why i love this game so much and god.#you can tell they tried to get it more in line with hfw visually#but it is still distinctly hzd and i could just cry at its beauty all day#can't wait to explore all the areas i've loved to bits in the original and see what they look like now#unfortunately photo mode is still a hassle but we'll make do#they added an option to turn off lens flare. i'm content#...at least i think you couldn't do that before? i remember lens flare giving me a headache regularly#maybe i'm just misremembering

I bought a chest freezer recently so I can finally indulge my grandma instincts of Make An Unreasonable Amount Of Food For Not Much Money And Eat Of It For Months
Today I bought two rotisserie chickens and made SIX large chicken pot pies (9" pie tins), used the leftover carcasses and have chicken stock going in the slow cooker, with enough leftover chicken meat and veg to make chicken rice soup tomorrow for DnD and probably have quite a bit to freeze as well.
#totaled up everything cost abt $35-40#including the foil pie tins because i did NOT have that many glass ones#which? for that much GOOD food? im quite proud#coulda done it for less if i hadnt used instant mashed potatoes but it saved enough hassle to be worth it#my family always made pot pie to use up leftovers from a Big Chicken Dinner#bottom 'crust' was mashed potatoes#middle filling was chicken bits and whatever veg we had mixed into the gravy#one crust on top#mom ALWAYS made her crusts by hand#but i decided to just use store bought ones#ive missed pot pie#but my teeny tiny freezers have never allowed for it really#because its most efficient when done in a Fuckoff Huge Batch#and my tiny amount of freezer and fridge space never made it worthwhile before

sometimes i think about how much of a waste it was to just have cas ignoring sam’s prayers in s6 instead of him actually not being able to hear him bc he was soulless and his prayers didn’t work
