Crepus was not a bad father. If anything, he was too good of one, loved his children just a little too much. Rearing the cuckoo in the nest as diligently as he did his son by blood, doing his best to ensure Kaeya never felt lesser, never felt left out, never felt less valued, less admired, less loved.   That Kaeya could never fully reciprocate was…not Crepus’ fault. The shackles of guilt weigh heavier than any iron could, a veil between him and the man who raised him that was never entirely lifted. Oh, he came close, a handful of times. When he was younger, especially, tongue ready to spill over with the secret. Warm, safe, loved, ready to ruin it all with a handful of scattered words. (Sometimes, he wonders how things would have changed, if he’d been just a little braver, had convictions that held just a little more sway over the need to survive, endure, deceive - It likely would not have changed much, once the mask was lifted. Kaeya knows he is not lovable in his entirety - flames and soaking rainwater and the relief he felt as Crepus was laid to rest all confirm it. Diluc and his father were so similar, mirror images in all the best and worst ways - Kaeya could imagine warmth, arms cradling him close, a soothing baritone, it’s alright, I promise, we love you all the same, we will fix this -  - but it feels like self-deceit. …He is losing focus. What-ifs are not the subject of this rumination. Only what happeneds.) Kaeya knows he was loved. Of that, he has no doubt. The face of him that Crepus saw, that he was taken in by - that, Crepus loved as much as a body loves breathing. Enough to be suffocated by the lack, enough to be killed by the lack. (Kaeya still finds it hard to breathe, sometimes, when he thinks too much about it.)

Why do Tommy people think Buddie people hacked him? So confusing to me. Looks like they just want to blame us for the fighting?

BTW. I recently lost weight. I kept most of my boob's luckily but a friend asked me if I had a breadt reduction. I learned a long time ago don't comment on people's weight. I never know if they are battling anything. A freind who was battling cancer kept getting asked that. Dont make it awkward. If someone does lose weight, they generally signle right away if they want you to know.

Oh, didn't you hear? Buddies are the root of all evil. Because obviously, we would go around making a man look bad, then like a tweet praising him then blocking other buddies. That's totally something we all put our free time on 🙄

And the weight loss thing is so real, because the thing is, I was very thin as a teenager, from a bad relationship with food to the fact that I was an athlete who had practice 4 times a week and walked close to 3 miles every school day, there was no way for me to put on weight, but then I blew my ankle and my knee and went from super active to not being able to walk for 20 minutes without being in extreme pain, so I obviously put on weight, and as I was putting on weight, I kept getting comments, which was something I had to learn to live with, but now, my medication made me lose part of that weight, and I had some health issues back in April, so I am significantly thinner than I was this time last year, but I don't wanna stand there with someone asking me how I lost so much weight because my health issues are not small talk, but people don't take no for an answer, they don't let me move on. Even when I say, oh it's my medication, people go oh are you on ozempic? and I'm like ???????? Seriously, don't comment on people's weight. Sorry, I went off, but it really is a problem. Because, honestly, if someone loses a lot of weight and they are telling you they are not training, it's probably health related and now the conversation is just awkward.

Hiya! It's the Richie fic I've been working on for what feels like forever! A little enemies to enemies who fuck (and fall for each other but in a very angry way). Antagonistic flirting. Maturity?? In this kitchen?

MC ends up working at the restaurant but only as a favour to Sugar, and sparks (and tempers) fly.

The precursor to madness has been defined as doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result.

It stands to reason, then, that you must be mad. Must be. Because who else would fuck Richie Jerimovich, wedding band still on his stupid finger despite signing the divorce papers three years ago, and expect something else.

The something else—something more—in that isn't necessarily commitment (gag), or even anything parallel to monogamous. No, your something different is, well, not fucking him.

Here is a little snippet of it:

He stops when he sees you, brows knotting together in something that leaks ire "We're closed," he snaps, jabbing his finger toward the flipped sign dangling in the window. "Or can't you read, Princess?"  "I can read, Richie," you sniff, shrugging. "But the door was unlocked, so—" "So? You just let yourself in? Breaking and entering is real cute—" "Thank you." His jaw clenches. The divot between his brow drawing tighter together with his palpable irritation. You want to feed into it. To bask in his annoyance. To etch under his skin until you sit there, festering like a sickness.  He never really lashes out. He yells and screams and hollers, but there's an ironclad control over his fury that sets your teeth on edge, that makes your finger itch with the urge to pull at the seams, at the ties that bind it together.  It's childish, but you've always liked it best when Richie got angry.

bad news: I dropped the wonu fic (boo I know) it was exhausting me, I had no idea how to continue it and it was blocking me from writing literally anything. I may come back to it in the future though, but it's been archived for now

good news: THERES A CHAN FIC ON THE WAY this is the best plot I've cooked up like ever I'm kinda shocked this came from my brain but I'm super super excited for it bc I've FINALLY stopped running away from the tropes that excite me most (bc I'm mortified of not being able to do them justice lol)
