i wish leo got a better design bc maximus kong is FUGLYYYYYY and easily tops mikey on Unpleasant Design. but mikey still makes me so sad. why can i count his teeth. why is he wearing underpants. get outtt man!!!!!!! and their designs dont need to be cute or pretty. leo is literally double mutated. i just wish she didnt LOOK LIKE THAT.

been playing around with the idea of mikey still being left alone in the beginning (obv with a much smaller chompy and ice cream kitty) and then finding some early meerkat village. they help him out maybe in contrast to previous groups being hostile and thats why they specifically get the map. they only way i can think of him getting the location and road markings is some form of astral projection?? like projecting to the oasis and making his way back to himself. but i dont think thats how it works. but who cares

i think bc of that mikey would also be a lot more familiar with meerkat culture and him n mira bond over it. anyway. yap over

Sometimes I think about the public perception of each division in their respective prefectures. like we know fling posse is well-liked in shibuya (mostly by women) because they're basically idol boys. Buster bros is also well-liked i think bc they do odd jobs around the whole city. Dotsuitare hompo also has some pretty good popularity in osaka bc they're like an entertainment team, that's their thing. They got two famous comedians and... some other shady guy idk.

Meanwhile matenrou has mixed reviews bc hifumi is popular among women as the number one shinjuku host, jakurai is respected, but doppo is canonically not very popular since he's basically seen as another suicidal salaryman. And i think bad ass temple also sort of flies under the radar popularity wise in-universe. jyushi has his little vkei band so that brings in only a certain type of fan, while kuko is a monk who's really only known for being a delinquent, and hitoya is an old man lawyer soooo.

Anyway this is really just a long winded way of saying that I think mad trigger crew gets the worst reception in their respective city as opposed to the other divisions. I mean come on man. Samatoki is a known yakuza with a short-ass temper, jyuto is a very obviously corrupt cop, and rio looks like a military nut from an outside perspective. I know yokohama hates their asses 💀 they got their head in their hands every time MTC gets chosen to rep them for the division rap battle AGAIN. Which is sort of in-line with the hypmic universe since they haven't won the DRB at all.

Honestly anything you can do together to break the soul crushing monotony of his life. Even just those little life adventures like going to a Denny's at 3 in the morning really help him feel like he's alive for once. Also food. Buy him food, cook him food, give him food. He's literally this meme. (I'm loyal if you feed me and I will never leave cause well I need the food)

That they're fun. They're just fun! And easy to talk to. And they make him feel so much less alone. It's nice being around them. It's healing. Life sucks but it can be improved with good company.

Okay so this started as me importing Shallow Moor (one of the lady Roe NPCs) because I had some brainworms. I then realized how small she was compared to XIV Zyl and then I thought "Oh... if Shallow Moor is this short.... how short is X'vahl compared to her?!" Then I imported him and he is quite short compared to her. Her picking him up was @this-is-ris's idea tho. Get elevated catboy!

Poor catman already has a height complex then I go and put him (max height male miqo'te) next to XIV Zyl (max height female Roegadyn) and it's a good thing this would never be canon because he would hate me for it. :)

Anyway enough of this silliness. I have to get the other alts through The Rising now.

i feel like valeria was MEAN when she was in the military. vicious and cutthroat in combat, or to the poor soul she's doing hand-to-hand practice with. and if you think about it — she kinda had to be. most of her team were men. while not all were bad or malicious, there were plenty that didn't see her as a soldier.

if something went wrong and one of them needed saving, whether one of the good men or not, she'd do it out of obligation. but honestly, she saw it as weak for them to let the enemy get the best of them.

with her superiors, she would stay in line (obviously) but not with a lot of enjoyment. deep down, she always knew she wanted to lead, to have power... and she did — only illegally.
