fun fact about my personal interpretation of the wayfarer and the witch, they funnily enough don't learn each other's names until well after they've already become good friends! So for a long time the wayfarer just calls the witch "Miss" or sometimes "Ma'am". And the witch, well, just calls the wayfarer...."wayfarer" like everyone else.

When they do learn each other's names though, they also learn that nobody else really knows either of their names as well (nobody thought to ask the wayfarer, and there's really nobody else in the witch's life to ask). So the two still continue to call each other by their little nicknames unless they know for sure they are alone.

Why? Because it's funny lol. And who doesn't like a good secret?

Elden ring is funny bc for the most part you have to still kill or barely interact with whoever you ship your tarnished with to still get an ending. I love it.

I love going to my favorite little boss that I ship my tarnished with and being like "divorce time."

I love going to the npc who repeats the same dialogue and fondly sighing like wow you really know how to make a tarnished swoon.

Nevermind that they're now dead in game in my head I'm mashing dolls together etc etc.

was looking at my ship tierlist and it made me think of suitcase and cheesy again... while i dont think they'd necessarily be close friends or anything i think they could at least be fairly good friends post-canon.

i like to imagine after cheesy is eliminated, he refocuses his desire to make others laugh by trying to find what might personally make someone laugh as a way of getting to know others, so long as it isn't mean-spirited! (source: i do this a little)

i personally think about this more in relation to him becoming friends with pickle and bomb, (pickle especially, i imagine getting him to laugh after what happened with taco isn't easy.) but playing with this idea with suitcase is also fun. i imagine getting suitcase to laugh isn't the easiest thing but when she does its really cute. so cheesy has to REALLY try with her to see what her sense of humor is like. and i like the idea of the kind of effort he puts in for that.

You should talk about Whalefall! The designs and story seem pretty baller

OUGHHHHHHH its been a hot minute since ive thought about my little guys.............. awhile back i was playing with the idea of dragging and dropping them into a wf99 style situation and putting the hex in the whalefallverse . i got sidetracked and didnt do much with it but it might be fun to revisit, especially in terms of translating the protoframe situation into whale-mutation...... i could retype all of this but im feeling headachey so were screenshotting that shit babey

i do not like when people say kaede would be a static protagonist if she survived the game like as if she wouldnt have 5 whole additional chapters for shit to be thrown her way and see how she'd change and adapt... plenty of writers have pulled off this idea with flying colors so idk why ppl say "ok but IN CANON kaede would just vote hope/despair in the end!" like LITERALLY WE DONT KNOW THATTT THOUGHHHH . shuichi was very different in ch1 compared to ch6 why is kaede exempt from this logic...............
