When the cursed mark activated for the first time with power overflowing into him, he changed to whole another person. We know who Sasuke is and how he behaves. He is a selfless and a pure person. He is a person who rejects unnecessary violence against innocent people. He refused to kill people for his own gain. Only in the Kage Summit arc he lose his shit and fall deeply into darkness and killed those samurais. It was his brother's manipulation that led him to this point. And it leads him to doesn't care about his own body and health at all as long as he can achieve his goal (to avenge his clan / to kill his brother). The behavior here of his has nothing to do with Sakura. It was the feeling of a person who had tasted profound power for the first time that he could ever dreamed of. The burst of power in him raises the prospect that he will become stronger than ever. If Sasuke is doing this for his teammate, others who see the scene will jump in to lend a hand. But that's not what happening here and even Shikamaru realizes the danger from Sasuke, thus he runs away with Ino and Choji. Seeing this unhinged behavior of his, they even asked themselves whether this was Sasuke or not and what was happened to him. Sasuke was enjoying this and embracing that with his evil laugh.
Upon waking up from a nightmare, the power 'it' was injected into him boosted his anger or rage and hatred, and all of which focused on his revenge and getting stronger. But unfortunately he doesn't remember any of these or what he said and done. After regaining consciousness, he forgot what had happened to him.
The same thing happened to Naruto when he awakened the Nine Tails. He doesn't remember much after that.
Both Naruto and Sasuke was full of in their rage when they possessed so much power. Both situations are not the same. Naruto gone crazy when he thought he lost Sasuke and in Sasuke's case, it was the curse power that pushes him on making him to think he could gain his goal through this. Naruto could have killed Haku when he couldn't control his intense emotions, but when he saw that the person behind the mask was Haku, he repressed his Kurama chakra. When they saw a familiar face, both of their murderous aura slowly faded and come back to their normal form. And that doesn't mean it's a romantic scene. Both of them do not even remember any of these events and it is not even mentioned in any part of the manga. The only thing that was constantly used about what happened in the 'Forest of Death' was Sakura's callback to Sasuke worrying about Naruto.
❝ PROMISE ME... YOU WON'T MENTION THIS MARK TO NARUTO..... IF HE KNOWS, HE'LL WASTE ENERGY WORRYING ABOUT ME ❞
Whether he wakes up from death or whatever, the first thing he thinks about is 'Naruto'. This is not a new knowledge to us, right. He gives Naruto his priorities and attention instead of worrying about himself.
He using the word 困る(komaru) - to be troubled; to be worried; to be bothered; to be embarrassed. The meaning of it quite depends on the context, and the tone in which you use it.
When Sakura starts yelling about his Mark and expressing concern about it, he tells her that it's none of her business. Naruto still had no idea about the mark Sakura was referring to. When Naruto finally came to speak on Sakura's behalf, this is how Sasuke shut him up with the words Naruto wants to hear from him. ❝ I WANT TO FIGHT YOU, TOO ❞ And Naruto goes lub-dub lol
Oh well, you know, it wasn't only just because of Sakura that his cursed seal faded. When he was in his conscious mind, he did control his cursed seal after seeing Naruto & Sakura worrying about him.
"Please withdraw.... They worry... maybe too much"
Who are you referring to?? Naruto didn't know about this. He'll be worried if he sees this, won't he??
What a smile, Sasuke!! Despite being pained and tired from the match, hearing Naruto's voice, he smiles at him. Sakura was there and looking at him but Sasuke's gaze was only fixed on his 'usuratonkachi'. Kishi why are you so funny. Look at the panels lol.
However, despite his best efforts to hide the curse mark from Naruto, Naruto finally sees it. When he asks Sakura about it, she recalls the promise she made to Sasuke in the 'Forest of Death'. It's all about Naruto and Sasuke, and the concern he only gives to Naruto. Kishi gave her that one moment and that was it, nothing special about it. No one remembers it, not even Sakura herself. In all her memories she was there kept as a third wheel witnessing every moment between Naruto and Sasuke.

catharsis: nearing the end
counting down the weeks to freedom (🏫🙅🏻♀️) and in need of stress relief (💆🏻♀️🕊️🧘🏻♀️)...
1. october (tchaikovsky): maybe one day i will record this song bc it's one of my favorites. also really befitting my underlying mood in this latter half of the semester. under all the stress and frustration, i am just tired. i want to see the world. i want to feel the joy of living again. making my life revolve around the confines of school does not feel like living.
2. apparition de giselle (adolphe adam): the music at the part where she's spinning in circles in the "initiation" scene. that's what today feels like. a flurry of movement, a little desperate, and despite the energy, unfulfilled. even soulless. i'm tired, that's all. stupid insomnia - you know that feeling where you're physically tired and when you lie down on the bed it feels like such a relief, yet you can't fall asleep? i don't know why that happens. am i worried about something? possibly? maybe? but during the day, i don't think i feel super worried.
3. mazurka op. 68 no. 3 (chopin): the first piece by chopin i ever played. the way i heard it in my head and the way i played it didn't have as stately a character as this interpretation, but this was the recording i drew most of my inspiration from. i really miss playing piano and the youthful glow i had felt in that era. it feels like ages ago. and with every passing year, it seems i have more pressing priorities like learning how to be an adult, the desire to forge new relationships and tend to them, and establishing my career, so piano consistently falls to the wayside. i don't regret my career choice tho... gladly, after a long-drawn existential crisis in high school, trying to come to a career path that had the best chance of balancing my needs and wants with the world's, i'm still satisfied with my decision. i want to learn how to use my potential to be of service to others, including those beyond my inner circle. i also want to practice piano after my dreaded winter exams. i will make time for both. 4. rainy day coffee shop ambience with piano music and distant thunder: that satisfaction at having stumbled upon the truth, the solidness of it finding a home in my chest. ☺️ i finally figured out what's wrong mentally and now i have something to work with rather than just floundering, feeling "some type of way", unable to get out of it because i don't even know what "it" is. i'm 99% sure that's what's causing my insomnia. i feel so much more hopeful and peaceful now with my feelings validated and all. 🥺 (update: i had the best sleep i've had in ages ☺️)
5. i dreamed a dream (claude-michel schönberg): i seem to always cycle through the same songs like i'm constantly circling the same drain. do i really always cycle through the same set of feelings every couple of weeks? 🤷🏻♀️ i have dreams i don't know i can reach. some of them feel more like fantasies than dreams... in my mind, dreams are super ambitious goals i don't know if i can reach but that are in theory possible to reach (more variables are in my control and have a good chance of affecting the future in the way i want), while fantasies are dreams that are closer to impossible to achieve (fewer variables are in my control and may not have a good chance of affecting the future in the way i want). i don't know, maybe they just feel like fantasies for now, and really, it's not impossible. idk, i don't have a crystal ball...
6. the sound of silence: i literally mean the sound of silence tho, not the song 😂 so underrated when the mind has been a noisy mess. ... and then in random mindless moments, like in the shower or when clearing away the dishes, all the music comes rushing back, begging to be heard and felt and loved.
7. arabesque no. 1 (debussy): learned about CBT in psych so i'm trying out using the situation -> thoughts -> feelings -> behavior template in my journal so hopefully i can figure out why i do or don't do the things i do 😅 and then maybe branch into some small "behavioral experiments"...not really sure yet but hopefully it brings me some clarity!

isagi yoichi +❣️ from the misc ask meme. dayummm i hope you don’t mind me requesting a variety of characters 🤧
Are you kidding? I don’t just not mind it, I love it! It makes me really excited to see and gives me a real boost of motivation and creativity. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with writing for certain characters, especially if I love them, over and over. It gives me new ways to view the characters and I get to develop a feel for how to write them better the more practice I get, but it can get a little stale over time, so this is a really nice change of pace 😊 Thank you so much for all your asks and I hope you’ll enjoy the headcanons for Isagi!
What are their love languages?
I do think Isagi’s primary love language is definitely quality time. It’s the most natural way for him to show his care about someone else. While he’s also someone who might show some of his affection through physical touch, that ranks much lower, even at second spot, than quality time. It’s the thing that comes the easiest to him and in his mind, it’s the most obvious way to show the people he cares about how much they mean to him.
After all, let’s get real here, Isagi is someone with lots of passion and ambition. He has big goals and dreams he wants to achieve and he has the drive and determination to make those things possible. But a large part of that drive and determination that makes those big things happen for him is him really hyperfocusing on football. It really becomes his world, in a lot of ways.
He doesn’t allow himself a lot of spare time. He works hard every single day, and in the little spare time he does have, he does have hobbies and stuff he’d very much like to do or he’d like to do the things that really relax him.
If, instead of doing any of those things, he’s dedicating the vast majority of the spare time he does have to spending quality time with a friend or a romantic partner, it’s his way of saying ‘hey, see, I truly care about you and this is me loving you’. It’s his way of showing the person that, though his main priority is on football and on his own goals and ambitions, they’re right up there alongside it, right up at the top of the list of things important to him.
I keep mentioning quality time, making sure to use the word quality, because that is what it is going to be with Isagi, if someone really matters to him. He’s not just going to show up, barely pay much attention, get caught up in his own world, or seem in any way as if he isn’t enthused to be there. For those important to him, when spending that time with them, Isagi is someone who is engaged in the situation. He actively listens to them, he holds conversations, he shares his world, both inner and outer, with them. He makes efforts to plan things to do that the both of them will like. He’s really giving them everything he can, emotionally and mentally, while spending that time with them.
As far as giving love, if his partner needs it shown in a different way, physical touch is the easiest one for Isagi to adapt to. However, it will still need to be shown in ways that are respectful to his boundaries because, while he’s comfortable with things like high-fives, casual physical contact you would see between friends, hugs and handholding with romantic partners, he’s averse to anything else happening in public. He’s not a huge PDA person – he’s not going to be someone who would feel comfortable making out with a romantic partner in full view of everyone, forgetting that everyone else around them exists or anything.
If he is serious enough about the relationship, be it platonic or romantic, and the other person clearly communicates what they actually need to be happier, how they would like to be shown that love and care, Isagi will put in the effort to do so. He will not get things right straight away and there will be learning curves, but he will at least try.
In terms of how he prefers to be shown love, I do think he’s an acts of service kind of person. It’s all about the small little things that people do for him to either make his day happier or to make his life easier on him.

simming goals 2024
it's been a good year back for me, and i'm ready to spend as much of 2024 simming as i can. thanks to those who've stuck with me through the hiatuses; to those whose encouragement, examples, and support have helped me grow as both a modder and a player; and to everyone who helped make the pink flashing survey circulate as widely as it did. this is a wonderful community and every day i am thankful to be part of it.
now, the goals!
the pink flashing survey report is still on track for a (mid-to-late) january release. i've done about as much coding and data validation as i can with the responses (thanks SO MUCH to everyone who was so receptive to my follow up DMs!) and there have been some promising tweaks and fixes and best practices coming out of the guinea pig testing group. we may not eradicate pink flashing forever but we can substantially work around it in most instances.
2. i'm collaborating with @cityof2morrow on a big traits expansion project, which you may already know something about if you saw the poll for the nudist icon. work is chugging along; all the new traits packages have been created and i've started on the actual modding work as of this week. take a peek at our planning spreadsheet if you want to see the scope of work. i have no firm estimate of when this will be out but i really want to use it in my new hood, and i really want to play kinda asap, so, asap.
3. playing in mount topazos. enough said. before that can happen i am going to
3b. finish paring down my downloads folder. i have like, just so much crap, including waaaaay more duplicates than i expected. currently this project means using my testing hood to open one catalogue section at a time, writing on a legal pad any object that needs to be cut or recatagorized/repriced. i've done windows, doors, deco paintings, and deco misc so far. i also packaged all my decorated MT lots, then faux-installed them in a desktop folder so i could see which cc is actually in use, allowing me to sequester items from bigger sets that aren't actively in use to a holding folder on my hard drive.
4. hunting update as part of the sun&moon team. honestly, this is long overdue. i made a prototype update of the huntable deer in 2021 and have hardly touched it since, and there's a lot more functionality we've been chatting about in that time. and i just need to buckle down and get on it. after the traits update is released that is absolutely my next priority.
5. that is it for goals. i think all of these are doable and achievable and honestly i really want to play and screenshot and share the mount topazos hood, so once i get the report and mod work out of the way that's really what i want my focus to be.
love and hugs and best wishes to everyone for their happiest, healthiest new year.

As promised,
Fallen angel au + hcs
Au
Il Dottore
He craved power, and not to right any wrongs. He wanted to test his limits and the limits of godhood. He wanted to ascend himself to the highest heaven, and even though he had almost aquired such a goal, he was thrown down when his plans were discovered, along with the questionable means by which he was achieving them. Once one of the most beautiful angels, his form became distorted. He now uses a mask to hide his face. Not that he wants to hide his form, but because he doesn’t want to talk about how he became this way, since it is a large wound in his pride.
Wings now black, he took a few off and made a sort of accessory out of it . (They’re still soft to the touch, though a few have become bristled throughout the years.) Zandik still makes a mockery of the gods , and loves to test limitations of the mind and body, both human and divine. Seeking equivalent status, he has also managed to create his own ‘life’, making multiples of himself. Matching the divine again in these ways, reaching complete godhood and reaching the heavens again isn’t a priority to him anymore. He’s already advanced and obtained so much, after all.
Pantalone
Being formed with nothing , he was sent down to assist humans, since he was close to one himself. Before he could assist them, however, many hardships soon followed , and he didn’t understand why he of all creatures should suffer so much. The only thing keeping the starving angel alive was his bit of divinity, so death would never visit him. He thought the gods hated humans, and himself moreso with how he was treated and forced to live.
However, blessed with cunning wisdom and charisma, he learned how to use his gifts , throwing away humility and piety . If he were to help people, he would have to fall himself. In his mind after all, the gods clearly didn’t want him, so what could possibly happen by indulging in some vices to have a better life?
Immediately he rose to power using wit and knowledge, slowly acquiring vast amounts of wealth. In his slow fall, he wondered just why exactly should he help those who wronged him and wronged others? He drew forth wealth from the corrupt, and also wondered why the gods didn’t help the rest of the just humans survive . The gods, after all, could conjure up money and wealth at will, so why not assist the pious and their worshipers?
Seeing the gods in a new light, Pantalone , now Regrator , chose to fully turn away from the will of the divine , choosing to follow his own path and way, clear of any divine decree. Humans should not beg and worship those who pretend they don’t exist, after all.
Better to rule in Hell , than to serve in Heaven.
Hcs
Zandik offered to try to make Pantalone divine , even more than he was. Pantalone refused, for although he wants equivalency between gods and humans, he doesn’t want to become a god himself.
Pantalone never had wings to begin with . Zandik let him feel his feathers, so Pantalone would at least be able to feel what they would have been like.
The segments groom and preen each others wings.
Zandik is still able to use his wings to fly, even though he took some feathers off.
Even though Pantalone still cares for humans, his fall that distorted his view and his past keep him from having a single care to those who aggressively indulge in the sin of greed in a cruel way, greedy thieves, cheaters, anyone to tries to get money in a unjust way out of selfishness . He doesn’t approve the way Dottore does things, however, he will have no qualms giving such people over to him, as long as he isn’t told of details.
Speaking of, Pantalone is very protective of kids! Having been formed into existence as one himself then put through so much , he sympathizes with them, and helps them whenever he can. He happily funds the House of the Hearth with the excuse of the House turning the kids into soldiers one day.
Continuing, Pantalone frees the kids Dottore takes immediately when he finds out, unless they’re there for a very good reason, such as they’re on the brink of death or likewise, and need Dottore to go back to health. Often, Pantalone gets into heated verbal arguments with Dottore , and even into physical fights when he finds out, until he’s made absolutely sure the kids are and will be okay. Even then, he visits them to make sure, and gives them gifts like stuffed animals and picture books to make their stay better.

How Young Adults Can Balance Purpose in Life and Financial Security: A brief critical interview into messages from the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad”
In 2024, young adults face unique challenges as they navigate their careers and personal lives in a world that's more interconnected and unpredictable than ever. The rise of the gig economy, remote work, and AI advancements has opened up new opportunities, but it also means increased competition and uncertainty in the job market. With skyrocketing living costs, economic volatility, and social pressure to "succeed" early, many are caught in the tension between pursuing personal fulfillment and achieving financial security. In this landscape, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki remains a popular guide for financial independence, but it raises the question: Is wealth creation the ultimate goal, or can we redefine success?
I had an interview with ChatGpt (4o) where we explored how young people can juggle both personal fulfillment and financial security—and how the lessons from Rich Dad Poor Dad fit into the complex realities of today. This conversation offers practical tips for both fans and critics of Kiyosaki's financial philosophies.
Q: Hi ChatGPT, I will have a small interview with you today. Can you briefly share the key notes of Rich Dad Poor Dad and discuss if its lessons still fit in today’s world of 2024?
ChatGPT: Absolutely. The key ideas from Rich Dad Poor Dad revolve around financial education, the difference between assets and liabilities, and the importance of building passive income streams. Kiyosaki emphasizes that many people are stuck in a "rat race" because they work for money rather than letting money work for them. He advocates for investing in assets like real estate or businesses to achieve financial independence.
As for 2024, these principles still resonate, but they need to be adapted. With rising living costs and new technologies changing the job market, many people find traditional investments like real estate less accessible. However, the core message about financial literacy, avoiding unnecessary debt, and creating diversified income streams is more relevant than ever, especially in a world with more uncertainty and more opportunities for digital and non-traditional investments.
Q: What about people with other aims and priorities in life such as young artists, charity workers, craftsman or researchers? Is the creation of wealth the ultimate goal?
ChatGPT: That’s an important question. The focus of Rich Dad Poor Dad—and a lot of financial advice today—centers around tech, finance, and real estate, often assuming that wealth creation is the primary objective. But what about people whose main focus isn’t on accumulating wealth? For artists, researchers, healthcare workers, or people in charity, their goal is often about making the world a better place.
For them, wealth might not be measured in financial terms but in the internal wealth that comes from living a meaningful, impactful life. Financial independence isn’t irrelevant—everyone needs a degree of financial security—but it’s not the only form of wealth. People can create value and fulfillment through their actions and contributions to society, even if their focus isn’t on building a financial empire. It’s about balancing personal purpose with practical financial needs.
Q: So how do young people balance these personal paths with the need for financial security? Can they pursue their passions and still avoid financial instability?
ChatGPT: It’s all about finding a balance between passion and practicality. First, young adults need to get clear about their values and goals—what really drives them beyond the paycheck. From there, they can explore ways to align those passions with financially viable career paths. For example, an artist might explore digital content creation or design, where creativity is highly valued, or a social worker might work within nonprofits while building financial literacy on the side.
I also encourage young people to think about monetizing skills in ways that don’t compromise their passions. Freelancing, creating digital products, or even using platforms like Patreon can help them earn money while still doing work they love. It’s about being strategic: not every passion needs to pay the bills right away, but finding ways to build financial stability alongside it is crucial.
Q: Rich Dad Poor Dad puts a big focus on assets and liabilities. How can young people build financial security if they don’t have the startup capital to invest in things like real estate?
ChatGPT: That's a great point, especially since in 2024, real estate and traditional investments are out of reach for many young people due to high costs and economic uncertainty. But the principles of building assets and avoiding liabilities are still relevant—just applied differently.
In today’s world, young people can look into low-cost, accessible investments like index funds, micro-investing apps, or even digital assets like cryptocurrency (with caution, of course). It's about starting small and building over time. They can also focus on creating intangible assets, like skills, networks, and personal brands, that increase their value in the job market.
The idea isn’t just about accumulating property or stocks but about finding ways to diversify income streams. Whether it's freelance work, passive income from side projects, or investing in education that will pay off later, young people can adopt Kiyosaki’s asset-building mindset without needing to own real estate from day one.
Q: For those who are more critical of Rich Dad Poor Dad, especially those who focus on humanitarian or creative fields, is financial independence even relevant?
ChatGPT: Financial independence isn’t the only goal, and it’s not more important than finding fulfillment in your work. For people in fields like healthcare, education, the arts, or charity, success is often measured by the impact they have, not their financial portfolio. But financial security is still relevant—it’s what gives them the freedom to continue doing meaningful work without worrying about survival.
It’s also about recognizing that internal wealth—like creativity, human connection, and purpose—can coexist with financial independence. In fact, by managing money wisely, even people in low-paying or creative fields can avoid financial stress and maintain their focus on the work they love. It's about making conscious choices that support both your purpose and your financial well-being.
Q: What practical tips do you have for young adults who want to follow their passion but still ensure they’re financially secure?
ChatGPT: There are several ways to approach this:
Learn basic financial literacy: It sounds boring, but understanding budgeting, saving, and investing early on will set you up for success. Even if your passion is art or social work, knowing how to manage money will reduce stress in the long run.
Work to learn, not just to earn: Early in your career, prioritize jobs that teach you valuable skills, not just ones that pay the most. These skills will give you more opportunities down the road, and you’ll be better positioned to turn your passion into a sustainable career.
Diversify your income streams: Don’t rely solely on one source of income, especially if it’s in a field that doesn’t pay well initially. Side gigs, freelancing, and passive income projects can provide financial stability while you focus on what you love.
Keep a growth mindset: Be open to learning and adapting. You might not make money doing what you love immediately, but if you’re flexible and constantly improving, opportunities will come.
Build a personal brand and network: Especially in creative fields, a strong personal brand can lead to more opportunities. Networking with like-minded people can open doors to projects or jobs that align with your values and financial goals.
Q: Do you think the messages of Rich Dad Poor Dad are too focused on financial success? How can people who prioritize personal fulfillment use the book’s advice without losing sight of their values?
ChatGPT: It’s true that Rich Dad Poor Dad is very focused on financial success, but its core lessons—like building assets, understanding money, and taking control of your financial future—can be adapted for any career or passion. The key is to use the book’s ideas as tools, not a blueprint for your entire life.
If your priority is personal fulfillment, you can still use Kiyosaki’s principles to build the financial security that allows you to pursue your passion without distraction. The goal isn’t to become wealthy at all costs but to create a solid financial foundation so you can live a life aligned with your values. You just have to tailor the advice to fit your unique path.
In today’s complex world, financial independence and personal fulfillment don’t have to be mutually exclusive. Whether you’re an artist, healthcare worker, or someone dedicated to social change, learning to manage your money can support your deeper goals. Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad offers valuable lessons, but in 2024, it’s up to each individual to define what success—and wealth—truly mean for them.
Q: Thank you very much for your time. Even though you are an AI, the conversations are always enlightening.
ChatGPT: You're very welcome! I'm glad you find our conversations valuable. My goal is to offer helpful insights, regardless of the format. It's always a pleasure to assist, and I hope the ideas we discuss continue to spark useful thoughts and directions for you.
Thanks for reading!

enneagram > MBTI ?? (am I really saying that !?)
I was researching my enneagram type lately and I have a lot to unwrap
Amidst my attempt to organize the endless tabs on my phone, I stumbled upon an old Enneagram test result. It was surprisingly spot-on, articulating behaviors I've long recognized but struggled to articulate.
I'm a 9w1, and I've been watching Dr. Tom LaHue's videos about my type.
He was saying that 9s can, if not careful, mistake the taste, goal of other's for their own- something I know I tended to do a lot when I was younger Back then, I craved uniqueness so intensely I wanted to dress up differently, listen to different music -being like everyone else was disgusting to me. Looking back, I might have resembled a type 4 during that phase
but I'm glad I had this phase, it helped me cultivate my confidence and identity
I've also noticed a pattern where I struggle to voice my opinions naturally. It's something I've had to learn the hard way.
it takes effort for me to really put myself in thinking mode to connect with my true self and figure out what I truly desire Yet, when a topic strikes a chord, I don't hesitate to speak up. Tom was also saying how my default response to a question or a request is always “yes” when it should actually be “no”, so that I accept only what I truly desire
“you can find your real “yes” only by saying “no””
I mean, I already knew that of me, and what really helps me is seeing other people being assertive in their opinions
I love people-watching and seeing people stand their ground inspires me
I've recognized that I sometimes fear expressing my voice because I don't want to burden others. I'm capable of understanding multiple perspectives, making every option seem acceptable—but what do I truly want?
Combining assertiveness with kindness has been a struggle. I've been aware of this aspect of myself for some time, and I'm committed to improving.
We all have patterns that emerge when we're not in a healthy place. and the enneagram helps you see more clearly on this. In the vid, mr tom was going through the levels of health of 9s going from the worst to the best, I've stopped to the first because it resonated too much with me : My brain will do anything to keep me away from feeling any type of negative emotion, this actually has been really detrimental at one point in my life
I will get lost in my priorities and the things I need to get done so I’m doing fucking useless tasks like cleaning my shoes, cutting my bangs, or sorting the tabs on my phone when I have more pressing matters
I became aware of this problem a while ago when speaking to a therapist, did I buy a book to help me regulate my emotions? yes
did I read it? no
when will i read it ? who knows
dr. really putted the finger where it hurts, i think i really got to work on that
that was also said in some of the videos, 9w1’s are scared to be a burden or to be a burden because our biggest inner fear is being rejected by the ones we love
deep down I know that it is very true -nothing can keep people from leaving me
but what’s interesting would be to discover why do I harbor this fear of abandonment? Why do I crave safety so desperately? nobody really abandoned me, nor left me, I never had problems making friends, so where does it come from? I’m going to look into that during the several hours of reflections I have during my nightly reflections
I thought I had myself all figured out, that I’ve spent too much time pondering my identity, my values, and desires Yet life just keeps impressing me and putting me in situations where I have to work on myself again and evolve
its like rediscovering myself, or building a new version of me
I do not want to die knowing I haven’t achieved the final version of me; I want to reach my full potential
but I'm so thrown between the melissa who strives for greatness and has all of those crazy goals and the melissa who wants to rot in bed and do absolutely nothing - a topic for another rant

He Who Loves the Name of the Lord is Truly Happy: A Spiritual Exploration
Saint Namdev's doha, "Jise Lagaye Har Ka Naam, Soi Sukhi Hai", reminds us that the essence of true happiness lies in the unwavering devotion to the Divine. In a world where people tirelessly seek joy through material possessions, status, or fleeting pleasures, Sant Namdev reveals a profound and divergent truth: only through immersion in the name of the Lord can one experience lasting happiness.
The spiritual pursuit is not just a path to contentment but a transformation of the soul. The divine name, or Har Ka Naam, represents the eternal and omnipresent energy of the universe. When one connects with it, they transcend worldly distractions, finding an inner peace that is unshakable. This doha provides a timeless insight into the pursuit of happiness that defies common wisdom—true happiness comes not from what we accumulate, but from how we connect to the divine.
The Shallow Pursuit of Happiness
In modern times, happiness is often tied to external achievements—promotions, wealth, relationships, and social status. However, this approach leaves people constantly chasing the next goal, leading to a cycle of dissatisfaction. Sant Namdev’s wisdom cuts through this, suggesting that only those who centre their lives around the divine experience true bliss. The joy derived from material success or fleeting pleasures is always conditional and temporary. As soon as one goal is achieved, another arises, and the sense of fulfillment is quickly replaced by a new desire. This chase for happiness through external means creates anxiety, restlessness, and disillusionment.
Sant Namdev offers an incomparable perspective—happiness is an internal state, rooted in divine connection. By meditating on the name of the Lord and aligning oneself with the universal energy, one finds joy that is unconditional, eternal, and deeply fulfilling. The divine name transcends the material world, offering a refuge where the soul can rest in pure bliss, unencumbered by desires.
Immersing in the Divine: The Path to True Bliss
The doha emphasizes the importance of love and devotion to the divine name, which opens the door to the highest form of happiness. This happiness is not subject to external forces; it does not fluctuate with life’s highs and lows. Instead, it is a serene, unwavering state of contentment that resides within.
When one embraces the name of the Lord, the inner turmoil that comes from ego, attachment, and worldly desires begins to dissolve. The soul feels nourished, at peace, and aligned with a higher purpose. It is in this divine connection that the true meaning of happiness unfolds. The joy from such devotion transcends the mundane and leads to a state of pure spiritual fulfillment.
Divergence from Conventional Wisdom
Sant Namdev’s perspective is radical. Unlike societal beliefs that suggest happiness is something to be pursued, earned, or achieved, he teaches that happiness is inherently available to all—if only we shift our focus. By loving the divine name, we experience a happiness that doesn’t depend on our circumstances or possessions. This divergent approach challenges us to rethink what we’ve been taught about joy and fulfillment.
Sant Namdev is not advocating an abandonment of life’s responsibilities but suggesting a realignment of our priorities. When devotion becomes the foundation of our lives, we find joy in the simple, the ordinary, and the sacred moments. This devotion does not require grand gestures but can be found in the quiet, consistent act of remembering and loving the Lord.
Practical Toolkit: Incorporating Divine Devotion into Daily Life
To experience the lasting happiness that comes from devotion, one must cultivate a practice of connecting with the divine. Here's a toolkit to help incorporate this into daily routines:
Daily Chanting or Recitation: Set aside time each day to recite or chant the name of the Lord. Whether through a mantra, prayer, or song, focus your mind entirely on this act. It can be for a few minutes in the morning or evening but ensure it becomes a consistent practice.
Mindful Meditation: Use the divine name as a point of focus during meditation. Breathe in, repeating the name silently to yourself, and exhale, feeling the divine presence fill you. This will deepen your connection and anchor your spirit in peace.
Gratitude Journal: At the end of each day, write down moments when you felt aligned with the divine energy. This practice helps you recognize how often the divine shows up in your life and reinforces your devotion.
Acts of Service: Incorporate acts of kindness and selfless service into your routine, knowing that serving others is serving the divine. This practice helps transcend ego and reinforces devotion.
Spiritual Reflection: Read or listen to spiritual texts or discourses that emphasize devotion and divine love. Reflect on how these teachings can be applied in your daily life to strengthen your connection with the divine.
Stay Present: Throughout the day, remind yourself to bring your thoughts back to the divine name. Whether you are driving, working, or relaxing, use these moments to mentally repeat the divine name, keeping your connection alive and vibrant.
Looking Ahead
Saint Namdev’s doha, "Jise Lagaye Har Ka Naam, Soi Sukhi Hai", calls us to discover a deeper, more profound form of happiness—one that cannot be found in worldly achievements but only in the love for the divine. The journey of devotion is simple yet transformative, providing the soul with the eternal joy it seeks. When we turn inward and immerse ourselves in the name of the Lord, we unlock the true key to spiritual happiness.

Building Wealth From Zero - A Guide to Financial Freedom
You should begin by developing an effective financial management system for achieving wealth. Budgeting, paying back or avoiding debt, as well as saving money are all part of these practices. Also, you should get insurance for your home, car and for life. And don't forget to invest wisely. You can build wealth with the right investments. 1. Determine Your Goals It's feasible for those who weren't wealthy as children to accumulate significant financial wealth over the course of their lives. It's as simple as making different choices and adopting thrifty habits. In the beginning, they must to identify their financial goals and create a financial plan. It could be necessary to make some tough choices like reducing the amount of credit card debt you have and reducing the amount of take-out meals every day. It could also mean saving more and putting the savings into investing. 2. Create a Financial Plan Making a financial plan is among the most essential steps along the path to wealth creation. It is about imagining both the long and short-term goals and assessing an individual's current financial standing. Budgets can also be a key element of a financial plan. They can be used to find ways people can cut costs for instance, by reducing the amount of debt they have or by searching to find better phone and insurance plans. 3. Create an Emergency Fund A good emergency fund should be able to cover three to six months of expenses. This includes housing, utilities along with debt payment and food. You can increase your emergency fund by using cash you "found" for example, birthday or holiday gifts such as tax refunds, bonuses at work, and other sources of income. Put this money into savings accounts that do not have any fees and pays low interest rates. The road to financial independence is a long and winding one. It requires dedication, strategic planning, and a determination to learn. 4. Take care of debt The first step in establishing wealth is removing debt. This includes paying off the balances on your credit cards and refraining from taking on new debt. List all your debts including credit cards and personal loans. Next, subtract the total amount you spend from your net income, to figure out the amount you're able to pay toward debt each month. 5. Save Money and Invest It Savings and investments are vital to building wealth. Before you invest, ensure you have a sufficient emergency savings account (3 to six months of expenses) in addition to having sufficient cash to meet your the short-term goals. Find ways to save more, whether through an expenditure reduction program, cutting costs, finding new sources of income or even putting the proceeds from bonuses, gifts or tax refunds toward debt repayment. 6. Get a Financial Advisor It's possible for people who do not have money to build wealth. But it requires time and dedication. Save more money to pay off debt, and steer clear of life-style inflation. Financial advisors can help individuals craft clear goals and better understand their financial position. They can also advise making the savings for retirement a top priority and profit from employer matching contributions as well as tax breaks. 7. It is crucial to budget. Once you've got a plan now is the time to begin saving and investing. The 50/30/20 rule is an effective method for building wealth. It suggests that you dedicate 50% of your earnings after taxes to your needs, 30% to wants and 20% to savings and debt repayment. It's essential to monitor your spending habits to ensure you're on top of your spending. This is a great method to assess whether you're ahead of your short-term goals as well as long-term investment goals. 8. Start a Savings account Savings accounts are an easy way to save money while earning interest. They typically don't require an enormous deposit, however they might limit the number of withdrawals each month and charge fees that can diminish the amount of money available over the course of time. Experts advise keeping sufficient savings to cover 3 to 6 months of expenses. To get the best savings rates, do some research and consider online banks and credit unions. 9. Set up a retirement account To accumulate wealth on a modest income, you need to be organized and make intelligent choices. Getting rid of debt and saving money are vital. The real secret of success is investing wisely.
youtube
Get started investing as soon as possible to maximize your retirement savings. Take into consideration tax-free options like IRAs and 401(k) accounts in addition to SEP IRAs for self-employed workers. The power of compound interest increases when you begin earlier. 10. Create a long-term investment plan Even with a modest income, you can become wealthy. The key is to acquire financial literacy, save strenuously and invest wisely. You should also have appropriate insurance, and also manage the risk. The long-term investment portfolio includes securities such as bonds, stocks and mutual funds. They're generally tax-free, for instance, the form of a 401(k) or IRA account. The length of your investment horizon determines how much risk you're willing to take, because your investments will have longer to recover from market downturns. Video from YouTube

The scholarship helping trans student Jay through university
New Post has been published on https://qnews.com.au/the-scholarship-helping-trans-student-jay-through-university/
The scholarship helping trans student Jay through university
The Pinnacle Foundation provides educational scholarships to young LGBTQIA+ people to reach their full potential. One of their scholars, Jay Bowman, shares how the support has helped them.
I remember getting the call to say I’d been chosen as a recipient of a Pinnacle Foundation scholarship and being so knocked back I could only say ‘okay’.
Having come out mid-way through high school, I saw uni as a fresh start, a place I could be ‘trans from the beginning’, and it was incredibly important to me that I’d be able to transition during my degree.
To do that I had to move out of home, and I wasn’t sure I’d get there without help.
I’d looked through scholarship and bursary options at my uni, but many had highly specific criteria it was hard to meet.
It was mostly by accident I found The Pinnacle Foundation just days before applications closed, crossed my fingers and submitted.
I was successful and I’m now studying for a Bachelor of Journalism and Film and TV studies in Brisbane. I’ve always been interested in how trans stories – fiction and nonfiction – are told and I want to advocate for our voices to be heard.
How a mentor helped
As part of the program, recipients are partnered with a mentor who works in the same or a similar field and has the same or similar identity.
I won’t lie, the mentorship aspect was an afterthought for me. I knew I’d appreciate speaking to another trans person in media, a field we have a famously complicated relationship with, but I was mostly seeking financial support.
My mentor was a trans man who works in media studies. He emphasised that even though we had a lot in common, it was paying attention to each other’s differences that could help us learn from each other.
I found we thought quite differently about things. That meant sometimes I had to sit with his words for 12 to 24 hours before they sunk in. But our conversations taught me a lot about my approach to study and, on a deeper level, my approach to my own goal-setting and priority-arranging.
I’ve always wanted to juggle six hats and never have to choose one – he taught me to figure out what I actually want and focus on being good at that.
I decided I wanted to be a good student. Not in terms of grades, which I could always achieve reasonably easily, but in terms of effort and time put into learning.
He taught me specifically that those two things – getting the grades and doing the work – are separate skills, and just because I was good at one didn’t mean I wasn’t abysmal at the other.

Juggling family commitments
My mentor also listened while I talked about my complicated sense of responsibility to my parents who denied me support to transition but still relied on me emotionally and financially.
Sometimes advice from queer people regarding family can fall into two camps: ‘it gets better,’ and ‘you don’t owe them anything’.
I find both unhelpful. He didn’t tell me either.
He helped me figure out ways I could help my family while also prioritising my safety and freed me from some of the burden of taking on their struggles as well as my own.
The support I got from my mentor wasn’t always active in that way.
Coming from a place where I had been told that transitioning would mean I would be unemployable, be unaccepted, and struggle my whole life, spending time with a trans man who was by all accounts thriving in all those areas helped me start to untangle some of those internalised knots.
I hadn’t realised how hard it would be for me emotionally to leave home, even when I knew it was what I needed to do.
Over time, it was the confidence in myself and my abilities that my mentor stoked that helped me finally make the move.

Financial reality
Of course, the financial aspect did come in handy too. As well as helping me buy essentials for my new place, the scholarship has been covering my groceries.
It also helped me finally buy gender-affirming gear I couldn’t have kept at home. After I placed the online order, I burst into tears.
All trans people, all queer people at large, deserve to feel safe in their homes and their places of learning. Financial security is only part of that picture.
What I’ve learnt over my time with TPF sounds cliche, but it’s true: never underestimate the power of community and the impact we can have on each other as queer and trans folks.

The advantages of business ISO compliance
We are an ISO Consultancy in Dubai, an organization's dedication to quality, consistency, and customer happiness is demonstrated by its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) compliance, which is more than simply a badge of honor. In this blog, we'll go into what ISO compliance means, look at necessary ISO certifications, and learn about the many advantages that companies, particularly those in the manufacturing and engineering sectors, can have by adopting ISO standards. An organization's adherence to global standards established by the International Organization for Standardization is referred to as ISO compliance. These guidelines cover various topics, including occupational health and safety, environmental responsibility, and quality management. It takes a careful assessment of current procedures to become ISO compliant, and then necessary modifications to align with the requirements are made.
As an ISO Consultancy, the industry standard for quality management is ISO 9001. Its goal is to raise customer satisfaction by guaranteeing that a business's goods and services adhere to the highest quality standards. Sustainable expansion requires customer-centricity, increased efficiency, and streamlined processes—all of which are achieved through the use of ISO 9001 principles. Industries such as manufacturing and engineering frequently have a significant environmental impact. A company's commitment to reducing its ecological impact is demonstrated by its ISO 14001 accreditation. Businesses that use eco-friendly practices can improve their standing with partners and customers who care about the environment in addition to making a positive impact on the environment. Engineers and manufacturers place a high priority on safety.
Being an ISO Consultant in Dubai, The ISO 45001 certification guarantees that a business offers a healthy and safe work environment to its employees and guests. Putting this guideline into practice lowers workplace accidents, encourages a culture of safety first, and protects employee wellbeing. The emphasis of ISO compliance is on stringent quality control procedures. Businesses may detect and fix flaws early in production by following ISO standards, guaranteeing that only top-notch goods are released onto the market. In addition to satisfying consumers, this lowers waste and operating expenses—two things the modern economy needs to advance. ISO standards support workflows and procedures that are efficient. Manufacturing and engineering organizations can improve overall efficiency, eliminate bottlenecks, and cut lead times by optimizing processes by these standards. Process simplification results in significant time and money savings.
We believe as an ISO Consultant, Worldwide recognition and respect are accorded to ISO certification. Companies that comply with ISO can confidently enter new markets since they know their goods and services are up to par with global standards. This widespread acceptability may also lead to various clientele and profitable commercial ventures. Customers gain confidence from ISO accreditation. Customers view the ISO logo as a guarantee of excellence and dependability when they see it on a good or service. As a result, companies that adhere to ISO standards frequently experience a rise in customer trust, which promotes repeat business and customer loyalty. Among many other advantages that we will discuss later, this careful approach will guarantee that firms fulfil internationally recognized norms for efficiency, safety, and quality.

A rise in contentment at work
better control over time
Aware of the difficulties
Achieving a work-life balance might present certain difficulties, though. With technology advancing to enable more individuals to work from home, the digital era has given rise to new forms of working. But this also means that it might be difficult for remote and hybrid workers to keep professional areas separate from personal ones.
Conversely, many think that work-life integration is a good thing and that it should become the new standard because of all the advantages. Workers ought to think about combining the two to build a comprehensive existence rather than keeping them apart. A significant amount of your life is indeed devoted to employment.
Workers of all kinds deal with different kinds of problems. While frontline workers who deal with sensitive matters are frequently impacted by this in their personal lives, office-based employees, for example, have to factor commuting into their family time.
Tips for a Work-Life Balance
1. Establish concise limits
Demarcating your personal life from your job life is our first piece of advice. You should draw boundaries between the two so that you may concentrate on what you're doing at the moment and not worry about work or vacation time all the time.
Given the constant blurring of the borders between work and pleasure, setting clear boundaries may be challenging, particularly for remote workers. Employees who operate in an office setting enjoy a greater sense of separation from their work environment, while those who work remotely from home may find it more difficult.
2. Effective time management
When it comes to maintaining a work-life balance, time management is crucial. Your productivity at work and your level of relaxation during leisure time will both increase with job prioritization and realistic goal planning. This is made possible by productivity tracking apps like Time Doctor, which let you keep track of your peak productivity times and do pressing work during those windows.
3. Make self-care a priority.
To maintain a good work-life balance, employee well-being is essential. You'll be more productive at work and happier in your own time if you include self-care practices in your everyday life. One way to improve concentration and prevent burnout is to set aside little amounts of time during the day to just relax and do nothing.
4. Accept remote job opportunities
One way to improve work-life balance is through flexible work schedules, such as remote or hybrid employment. Employers should devise strategies to offer flexible work arrangements to their employees, as most occupations may be completed entirely or in part from a distance. To increase employee satisfaction at work and ensure productivity, you may, for example, let them work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
5. Plan frequent pauses.
Take regular breaks at work to boost productivity, according to research. It is possible to increase productivity during working hours considerably by scheduling frequent "micro-breaks" lasting around five minutes. Your attention span will benefit from taking breaks of any type, according to studies.
6. Reducing tension and cultivating awareness
Stress may be effectively reduced by practicing mindfulness and introspection. Your anxiety and calmness will decrease with the support of techniques like writing, yoga, and meditation. Your productivity at work will increase, and your vacation time will be happier as a result. When mindful practices are needed, employers should support their staff members' understanding of their stress levels.
7. Digital detox
Work-life balance is aided and impeded by technology. Though business process automation might help lower stress levels, too much screen time is bad for our eyes and our concentration. Due to this, workers who spend their whole workday glued to a laptop should unplug from their phones and take periodic breaks from digital gadgets during the day. Your sleep quality will improve even for brief stints of digital detoxification, especially before bed.

Advice to Work on Yourself 🤷🏽♀️ in October 2023: Cancer
King of Cups - Page of Pentacles - The Tower
Regarding: 10 Pentacles rev
This is a really positive message about a difficult situation you’re stressing over. Some relationship in, I assume your family, is not doing so great, it’s been unstable up to this point. You do care deeply for whoever this is, could be a co-parent, a relationship on the rocks, family, could be a whole group of them. It’s like you know you don’t have “a good defense”, you’ve acted in a way that’s caused conflict amongst your people, and you’re terrified to be held accountable or have to fight & defend yourself. You know you messed up, or that people feel that way.
Wheel of Fortune shows maybe time has passed since whatever this is, could be a whole year, and there seem to be holidays or celebrations coming up where you know you have to see these people again. You may have not even been around since last year, and you’re like “shit” because it’s time to pay the piper. Grandma/Aunt/etc. is calling. You don’t want to fight 😫 The good news & advice is, I don’t even see one. Marinetti being reversed refers to time, so it’s good to feel a little guilty if that causes you to open up more and call people, keep in touch, I’m getting that’s all anyone wants. Use it as a lesson to learn, and do better next time.
Page of Pentacles here looks like an apology, if you come in apologetic and address things from the start “I’m sorry I haven’t called, life is life-ing”, it’s going to shock you how easy it is to get everyone on your page. The Sun & 3 Pentacles. You have a good support system here, they just want to know how you’ve been, what’s kept you away 💜
Animal Oracle: Cheetah 🐆
“Get clear on your intention, stay focused, and move quickly to achieve your goal.”
Stop deluding yourself by thinking there isn’t enough time, there are too many other things to do, or you’re not up to the mission that’s calling you to action. These and many other beliefs are delay tactics that keep you from accomplishing what you’re here to do. It’s much too easy to play it safe by staying caught up in the mundane dramas of life rather than honoring Spirit’s purpose for you by making a run for it.
The first step is to write out your intention as clearly as possible. Keep it nearby and create an appropriate affirmation that you can repeat several times over the course of a day - one that states your intention as if it has already occurred. Then write out a sequence of action steps that will move you toward your ultimate goal. Don’t be shy or hesitant to think big - bigger than you’ve previously allowed yourself. Once you’ve set the wheels in motion by doing these steps, it’s time to move - not in some frenetic, hurried way, but steady and purposeful, designing much of your activity to support what you need to do. In all of this movement, once you’ve successfully achieved a significant piece, take a breather and moon back on how far you’ve come. Give yourself a pat on the back with each step that’s accomplished as a way of acknowledging your progress. Go for it!
Artist Oracle: FILIPPO MARINETTI (reversed, so take the meanings as the opposite)
- Forward march. Looking backward ensures a broken neck.
- Your art should wage war.
- The only constant will always be contradictions.
Advice:
- Connect Through Conversation
- Move More
Charms:
Clock ⏰ on Fillipo rev shows that looking backward in this case is helpful for you to learn. You probably already feel guilt, already feel shame, and those aren’t the healthiest emotions but they serve a purpose. Be mindful of your time and where it goes, it’s like your family knows you’re busy but, they’re a priority too. Everything changes so fast 🥹
Castle rev 🏰 on 9 Swords are your fears, you’ve probably been living on autopilot or “out of sight, out of mind”, it’s easy to do with this world being how it is. Life happens, and a lot of it could be out of your control. You’re afraid you’ve made your home unstable, or that people are mad at you and will hold a sword against your throat like TALK CANCER! But I don’t get that actually being the case. Your worries are much scarier than the reality.
Locked Heart rev 🔒♥️ on Connect Through Conversation says open up! That’s it. Tell people where all of your time goes, vent about this and that, catch up with those that mean the most to you. Good relationships can pick right back up like no time has passed, and we all go through this same thing at some point.
Angel 😇 on 3 Pentacles feels like a Temperance energy, others are very patient with you and won’t have a problem combining your personality, life, chatter or differences in with theirs. Everybody together creates the whole of a unit, a family, and you all are bonded beyond regular life stuff. I don’t get people being mad, they’ll understand with little to no issues. We all do it.
