I've had time to think about the Veilguard and my only big negative is they did my boy Verric dirty. You're gonna do all that and not mention Hawke or have Hawke involved in some way, all the emotional weight is put in Rook who barely knows him???????? Nah

I completely agree. Brother Bear is all about deconstructing toxic masculinity and respecting all life and learning to empathise with different perspectives.

I don’t have the energy for a deep well thought out analysis, but this movie, while it has a lot of problems, is really underappreciated and has a lot to say.

Brother Bear admittedly has some problems but I appreciate the narrative that being a man isn’t just about showing more stereotypically “manly” traits like Courage or Strength, and that emotional maturity is seeking to understand rather than lashing out in anger.

I don’t have any deep thorough analysis I just think it’s neat.

I have a toxic relationship with the mcu where it pisses me off and disappoints me consistently for years and then randomly it releases some of the best television I’ve seen just like out of literally no where. and it’s like. What the hell was that. Hey. Come back. Where did that come from. Were you guys capable of that this whole time.

for people who asked about tmn comic reviews, i put some vry basic vry casual text ones on my storygraph account. just for the cad and beau ones. kind of would like to do more in depth reviews and talk abt all of them and the art etc etc but i know people are a bit touchy about art critique so . i just remembered the beau one is negative about the art so theres your warning

#the art problems usually is actually more design problems with the comics. like he sound effects and panels #the cad one rating seems low for best out of tmn comics bc its in relation to other comics. i cant rate it as highly as susceptible #that would be lying. i could bump it up to 4 but idk 3.75 just now. mostly stars off bc its too short so idk how to rate that #i just feel like these kind of tie-in comics top out at a solid 7/10 #again because of length and also the actual panel design #kiddo say

So I went and saw Trap today. Normally I don’t like Shyamalan’s stuff but this one was pretty solid apart from everyone on the FBI apparently being dumber than rocks.

The more I watched and saw Cooper’s character, the more I was like “oh true crime fangirl tumblr and autistic bitches are gonna have a FIELD DAY with this guy”
