𝓌𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝑜𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇𝓈' 𝒻𝒾𝓃𝒹 𝑒𝓃𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓃𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒶𝒷𝑜𝓊𝓉 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝒶𝓅𝓅𝑒𝒶𝓇𝒶𝓃𝒸𝑒 🪞🪷✩ // pick a card!
hey angels! 👼🏼 this will be a general pick a card reading on what people find enchanting about your appearance/how people view your appearance (physically & generally- usually these things naturally overlap). It's of course, not healthy to fixate on these things, however I think it can be uplifting to hear the nice things people might've thought of us. It's natural to be a bit curious! Pick the image you're most drawn to, proceed to your reading & take what resonates! If you're interested in a personal reading from me, check out my Etsy Store :) // https://www.etsy.com/shop/LavenderAngelTarot
#1 #2 #3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
#1 - the Moon, Page of Swords & Knight of Wands 🌙
With the Moon card coming out first, I see people being heavily captivated by a sense of mystery surrounding you- you come across as introverted or at least, initially reserved. In your presence people are not so sure what you are thinking, but your demeanour remains peaceful and possibly very feminine. Dreamy & vaguely moody too, but with the Moon card it's like everything is a little concealed. I think for some of you, people can sense you're going through something heavy right now too since the Moon relates to psychological turmoil in some cases, but you hold yourself very gracefully. Physically I feel like you have very immediately pleasant features, people might find there's this 'beautiful darkness' to you- maybe some of you dress in a sort of gothic inspired aesthetic, or perhaps it's this mysterious/contemplative look in your eye.
With the Page of Swords (especially combined with the Moon) people immediately see you as intelligent. Very sharp minded and skilled at communicating (even if you're not a big talker, your speech or vocabulary is clear). Since in this reading we're focusing on appearance, despite the softness illustrated with the Moon card, you may also have some features that are slightly sharper. Like for example, having a very soft, rounded face but a sharp/edgy haircut, or piercings. Pages are also associated with youth, so people may see you as youthful in your appearance. A lot of you who picked this pile are very young too I'm getting- not sure if it's the reading, or just me talking but I have this urge to remind you guys to be safe online!
Finally, the Knight of wands to me shows that people see you as healthy, athletic or just generally physically capable & attractive! You may look strong or agile- I'm getting some of you are dancers (or you look like you would dance, especially ballet!). Despite your calm, intellectual energy, you come across like you live a very active and adventurous lifestyle in some way. I also see that while you might not lead with it when you meet people (initially people noticing that mysterious, intellectual, perhaps shy aspect of you)- you have a very spontaneous and passionate nature that people reallyy love :)
2# - 3 of Pentacles, The Star, 9 of Wands 🌿
Immediately, this group is really emanating 'it girl' energy to me.
With the 3 of Pentacles, I see people being quite in awe of you and viewing you as a very hardworking, competent person. You inspire others in some way, people feel they have something to learn from you. Since the 3 of Pentacles is traditionally related to collaboration & learning, you could be someone who's always around other people, or maybe are a positive representation of your school/work out in public (like for example, often being out and about in your uniform, or being seen as part of a collective like a band or a certain friend group). Appearance wise, to me the 3 of Pentacles feels as though there is something artistic & skillful about your appearance- maybe you're really skilled at makeup, or your clothing is very beautiful and well coordinated.
The Star card speaks for itself! You stand out appearance-wise and garner attention whether you realise it or not! The Star card to me, especially combined with the 3 of Pentacles tells me that you inspire people a lot with your appearance alone but also in other ways. People feel there is something aspirational and 'untouchable' about you- it's sort of Gossip Girl 'Serena Van Der Woodsen' adjacent lol. Again, it could be that there's something about the way you dress that's very skillful and others are in awe of, it could also be that you're very popular or seem as though you would be from the way you carry yourself. A lot of you are very talented or just 'different' in some way and people notice that. (I wish I could specify a bit more but since it's a general reading it could be a variety of reasons people view you this way, follow your gut) :)
The 9 of Wands to me shows that you come across brave and ready for anything, very resilient. Maybe slightly wary or mistrusting too. It also shows that people can tell you're tired/exhausted- not necessarily in a bad way but it's like people can sense in the way you carry yourself that you're trying to keep strong despite struggles you are facing. Maybe you're not getting as much sleep as you need, or just work super hard. For some of you, it's as though people can sense in your expressions/posture/etc that despite being this abundant, inspiring person; you're not totally happy right now and there's something or many things getting to you. I see for some, what's going on is that you have a lot of expectations on you to be this 'perfect', skilled, hardworking, 'golden girl/boy' aspirational person and it is wearing you out deep down. I definitely do see things getting smoother for you with time 🤍
#3 - King of Cups, The Chariot, The Hierophant 🌊
The King of Cups as the first card tells me that you appear to people as somebody who is very in touch with their feelings & emotionally authentic. I don't see an obnoxious person who is always bawling their eyes out (lol), but I see someone who is very warm, welcoming and jovial. When you laugh, you laugh for real. When you smile, it is genuine and sweet. You may not always feel relaxed, but overall you do come across as a very relaxed and mature person and it's really attractive to people. The way you move could be very flow-y and sensual, you might prefer to wear flowing fabrics/styles rather than stiff or sharp ones. Whatever your age or gender is, I see you also come across very parental in the sense that people immediately feel they can trust you, like you're the person a little kid would want to come up to for help if they were lost 🥹
The Chariot tells me that something about the way you appear has a very positive and change-agent energy about it. It could be that you dress very bohemian, or wear very bright colours, or perhaps you do something different with your hair that really subverts expectations and inspires positivity in others. It's as though you stand for something- a certain cause or mentality that shines through in your demeanour. You come across very confident in your style, who you are and what you stand for- you're not afraid to look unique or be 'over the top' and that really makes people happy to see whether you notice it or not! As though you're the one person who wears a beautiful colourful dress/shirt in a sea of people wearing black and grey + looking 'done' with life. Again I'm seeing that the way you move stands out as attractive! While many walk kinda sluggish & dispassionately, you have a bit of a spring in your step, or appear very in command and in tune with your body.
Finally, The Hierophant tells me that you appear spiritual, religious or just having a very strong moral conviction in some way to others. For some of you it could be your facial expressions & the way you react to your environment that leads people to think this. For others, it's more overt things like perhaps adorning yourself in religious or spiritual symbols. The Hierophant also speaks of traditionalism, so you could be someone who prefers slightly more traditional dress styles and values in a way- for a lot I'm seeing dressing in vintage fashion :)
I think Dazai’s relationship with Atsushi is the only truly healthy one he’s ever had…
As much as Atsushi looks up to and feels like he owes Dazai, he doesn’t really put up with his shit. He doesn’t ignore or dismiss Dazai’s self destructive behavior but he also doesn’t judge or coddle him for it. He isn’t afraid to call Dazai out or acknowledge his flaws and he doesn’t listen and obey him blindly, unless he is in an immediately dangerous situation where hesitation could mean death. He doesn’t really let Dazai push him away either, he remains a stable source of comfort, someone Dazai can always rely on to help him.
All of Dazai’s other relationships, even Oda, had toxic aspects, some more than others certainly but still. Dazai can never trust Kunikida to accept him, Dazai’s entire being goes against his ideals no matter how much they may care about each other. Oda was always accepting and he was reliably there when Dazai needed him, but he’d also given up on Dazai to an extent, he didn’t actively try to help him at all until he was dying, he was kind of a passive person in general and even admitted that he wished he’d done more for Dazai. These relationships are not incredibly harmful, only damaging in subtle psychological ways that likely impacted Dazai’s self worth and his ability to feel comfortable or known. But still. Not healthy.
With Chuuya and Mori it’s quite a bit more obvious but I’ll explain how I see it anyway.
Dazai’s relationship with Chuuya, as much as it’s defined by mutual trust and respect, is poisoned by Dazai’s controlling behavior toward Chuuya. There are not one but TWO canonical instances where Dazai orchestrated the loss of Chuuya’s entire support network, during the 15 arc and in Storm Bringer. Neither instance was solely because he wanted Chuuya to himself but it was a motivating factor and the result was the same. Except of course Chuuya didn’t really blame him either time because he was able to deflect the blame onto Mori and Verlaine. But Chuuya isn’t unaware of Dazai’s role in either case, and he doesn’t forget. And Dazai doesn’t want to be so close to Chuuya. He doesn’t want someone to know him so well or to grow an attachment that he thinks will only end in pain, and he pushes Chuuya away violently when he remembers that. The thing that makes it toxic is that he forgets when he spends time with Chuuya because he just genuinely really likes him and enjoys his company. They are both each other’s only peers, in both rank and intellect. As much as they fights it, that means something to them both and it tied them together when Dazai was still in the mafia. And that’s not even touching on the rivalry between them, which isn’t inherently toxic but certainly has the potential to be, especially when paired with everything else.
And now we get to Mori. Dazai’s guardian, doctor, boss, and partner in crime. The man who saved his life more times than they can count. The man who gave him purpose and meaning in his life. Who brought him and Chuuya together. Who was responsible for Oda’s death. Who lied to him, used him, planned to kill him. Who trusted him, confided in him, shared his secrets with him. Their relationship is so complex, and in different circumstances it could have been very healthy. Mori truly cares about Dazai, and I think Dazai cared for Mori in return. It’s impossible to spend so much time with someone, share so much, without growing to care for them at all. And Mori and Dazai are so similar, they naturally understood each other and agreed with one another for a long time. One incident soured their relationship. But it still wasn’t healthy before that. Mori was using Dazai, putting him in a position no child or teenager should be in with little regard for his mental health. He still presumably gave Dazai drugs, though we don’t know what kind I think it safe to assume they weren’t regular antidepressants or anxiety prescriptions. Might have just been weed, but I doubt it. Anyway. Point is, Mori treated Dazai like an adult who was allowed to make their own terrible decisions, but took it a step further and pushed him towards those decisions for his own gain. Yes he cared about Dazai, and no he didn’t force him into anything, but he was irresponsible and manipulative all the same.
Anyway, I am once again writing an analysis on Dazai’s relationships in the middle of the night when I am supposed to be asleep. I have a Problem. Hope my sleep deprivation didn’t affect the quality lol
I make a pseudo sequel to my previous post, responding to accusations directed towards the ship.
Always in a constructive manner.
[There are accusations that the Wednesday x Enid couple is ‘’toxic‘’.]
A frequent criticism concerns the character differences between Wednesday and Enid, with the argument that their differences could lead to a dysfunctional relationship.
However, research has demonstrated that differences are not necessarily detrimental to a relationship.
According to Markman et al. (2010), couples who are mutually supportive through differences tend to develop greater conflict resolution skills and strengthen their bond.
In the case of Wednesday and Enid, their differences do not create insurmountable distances, but rather offer opportunities for personal and collective growth.
Enid helps Wednesday explore emotions that she normally tends to repress, while Wednesday offers Enid a more rational and centred perspective.
Another accusation concerns the possibility of emotional dependency, where one party is overly dependent on the other.
Nevertheless, their relationship shows signs of healthy reciprocity.
In accordance with Kelley and Thibaut's (1978) model of interdependence, healthy relationships are characterised by a balance of power and mutual support.
Enid and Wednesday demonstrate this interdependence on several occasions: Enid supports Wednesday emotionally during difficult times, while Wednesday protects Enid physically and respects her as an equal. This mutuality is crucial to avoid toxic dynamics.
A lot of criticism of queer relationships derives from stereotypes and prejudices that do not apply to heterosexual relationships.
Queer literature, as examined by Adrienne Rich in the concept of ‘compulsory heterosexuality,’ suggests that queer relationships are often misinterpreted through the prism of heterosexual standards.
Queer relationships, like the potential one between Wednesday and Enid, do not have to conform to these standards to be considered valid and healthy.
Their interactions challenge traditional conventions, but this does not make them toxic; on the contrary, they provide a far more inclusive and diverse representation of relationships.
A core feature of healthy relationships is mutual support for personal growth, as pointed out by Deci and Ryan (2000) in their theory of self-determination.
Enid also encourages Wednesday to explore sides of herself that she would normally reject, helping her to emotionally grow. Wednesday, with her pragmatic approach, helps Enid to become more autonomous and assertive.
This mutually supportive dynamic contrasts sharply with toxic dynamics, where one side tries to belittle or hinder the other.
Stating that Wednesday could be toxic for Enid requires an in-depth analysis of the dynamics of their relationship, based on psychological patterns of healthy and toxic relationships.
Wednesday, while reserved and distant, does not show manipulative intentions toward Enid.
Available from Braiker and Kelley (1979), manipulation in relationships is characterized by intentional behaviors to gain power and control over the other. Wednesday, on the other hand, behaves in a straightforward and honest manner, although she can be brusque at times.
She never uses Enid for personal gain or to exert power, which eliminates a key aspect of toxic relationships.
Throughout the series, Wednesday shows that she is capable of emotional growth and learning from her mistakes, especially in her interactions with Enid.
Canary and Stafford (1992) point out that the ability to resolve conflict and grow together is an indicator of a healthy relationship. Wednesday, initially reluctant to express emotions, learns to recognize the importance of human connections through Enid's influence.
This suggests an ability to adapt and improve, not typical of toxic relationships, where harmful behavior is repetitive and static.
But despite their personality differences, Wednesday and Enid show a strong mutual respect for each other.
Wednesday, while often cold, does not ignore Enid's emotional needs and, on several occasions, tries to support her, albeit in her own way.
Bowlby's (1969) attachment theory highlights the importance of mutual emotional support as the foundation of healthy relationships.
Wednesday offers support to Enid when necessary, showing that he respects her needs and boundaries.
A crucial aspect of a toxic relationship is isolation, where one partner tries to separate the other from his or her support networks (Walker, 1979).
Wednesday, on the other hand, not only does not isolate Enid, but encourages her independence.
Wednesday respects Enid's need for other friendships and supports, demonstrating a healthy, non-possessive approach to the relationship.
We should not forget about the communication between Wednesday and Enid, which although sometimes difficult, is direct and honest.
According to Gottman (1999), open and honest communication is essential to the health of a relationship.
Even in times of conflict, Wednesday does not hide her thoughts or intentions, which helps a clearer and more respectful dynamic, avoiding the traps of manipulation or emotional control.
Some may object, even rightly, that Wednesday “used” Enid during the outing to the Gates mansion.
Indeed, there is an episode in which Wednesday involves Enid in her plans to explore the Gates mansion, an example of behavior that might appear to be exploitation or deception.
However, it is important to analyze the context and motivation behind the action to assess whether this represents a pattern of toxic behavior.
Wednesday does not exploit Enid in an ongoing or manipulative way;
Enid's involvement in this situation is more of an isolated incident related to Wednesday's determination to solve the mystery.
The key difference from toxic relationships is that Wednesday's intent is not to control or manipulate Enid in the long run, but rather to get help with a specific mission.
Toxic relationships are often characterized by repeated and systematic manipulative behaviors (Braiker and Kelley, 1979).
In Wednesday's case, the episode with the Gates mansion is an exception rather than a rule.
There is no evidence that Wednesday continues to exploit Enid on a regular basis or for selfish personal purposes.
And no, the exchange of places during the work at Pilgrim Word doesn't count at all, that's because that was an exchange that favors both clearly and without deception, Enid wanted to go together with Ajax and Wednesday wanted to please her favoring even herself.
An important element is Wednesday's ability to reflect on her mistakes and try to improve her actions.
After the mansion episode, Wednesday shows greater consideration for Enid's feelings and boundaries, a sign of personal growth.
In accordance with Gottman's (1999) research, the ability to recognize and correct one's mistakes is fundamental to a healthy relationship.
After the conflict caused by the visit to the mansion, Enid and Wednesday manage to discuss and resolve their differences. This indicates a relationship based on open communication and mutual respect, which contrasts with toxic relationships where conflicts tend to remain unresolved or lead to ongoing manipulation.
Well, now here's where I'm going to be much more direct, before you read this part I invite you to look up my analysis of why Tyler is a toxic partner (and especially because he doesn't really love Wednesday) in my Tumbrl account, because now that I'm going to make comparisons I'm going to use some cues from that post.
Tyler maintains deceptive and manipulative behavior for much of the series.
He hides his true identity and intentions, exploiting Wednesday's trust to get closer to her while serving his personal purposes as the Hyde monster.
This type of behavior is a classic example of emotional manipulation, where one partner uses the other's trust and emotions to gain personal advantage or control the situation, as described by Braiker and Kelley (1979).
He constantly uses deception and manipulation to maintain control of the situation.
This pattern is typical of toxic relationships, where manipulative behavior is continuous and an integral part of the relational dynamic (Walker, 1979).
In comparison, Wednesday's behavior toward Enid, even when it might seem abrupt or instrumental, is not characterized by persistent manipulative intentionality.
Wednesday involves Enid in a specific episode (the Gates mansion), but he does not try to systematically deceive or manipulate her for his own personal gain.
Always remembering that Wednesday's behavior, while insensitive at times, does not follow a consistent manipulative pattern.
His relationship with Enid is characterized by honest communication and mutual growth, not systematic manipulation.
Tyler shows no intention to change or be honest with Wednesday until he is discovered.
His lack of change and self-reflection is indicative of a toxic relationship, where manipulative behavior persists without improvement.
And here many might bring forward another objection.
That is, the fact that Tyler is not fully conscious; he is being manipulated by an outside person.
And that is true, but let me expound on that in a better way
There is a contradiction in saying that Tyler deceived Wednesday because he was under Laurel's control, but at the same time claiming that he really loved her.
If Tyler is completely under Laurel's control, then his manipulative actions toward Wednesday could be attributed to a loss of autonomy.
However, this would imply that he is not in control of his actions and therefore cannot truly love authentically, since love requires intentionality and will.
Authentic love involves conscious choice and genuine connection based on mutual respect, trust and understanding (Sternberg, 1986).
If Tyler is under Laurel's control, then he is unable to offer this kind of love, making any claim of authentic love inconsistent with his manipulative state.
Despite Laurel's control, Tyler maintains deceptive behavior for much of the series, hiding his true identity and intentions.
This behavior stands in stark contrast to genuine love, which requires transparency and sincerity.
Claiming that Tyler loves Wednesday while continually deceiving her creates a contradiction: deception is a sign of manipulation and disrespect, while genuine love requires honesty and respect.
According to Bowlby's (1969) attachment theory, a healthy relationship is based on mutual trust, which is clearly violated by Tyler.
Although Tyler is under Laurel's control, there is a question of personal responsibility.
If Tyler really loved Wednesday, one would expect him to find a way to resist or to warn her of danger, showing genuine concern for her welfare.
Tyler's lack of resistance suggests complicity, which contradicts the idea of genuine love.
In a healthy relationship, the partner should do everything possible to protect the other from harm, not to contribute to their deception and manipulation.
We therefore conclude this post with a comparison encapsulating all the info we have gathered in the series.
The relationship between Wednesday and Tyler initially develops on a false premise, where Tyler presents himself as an ally and confidant, only to turn out to be a threat.
This behavior reflects what psychologists call “emotional manipulation.”
A study by Christensen et al. (2006) of couples with abusive dynamics found that manipulators often use deception to create a sense of dependence and vulnerability in their partners.
Tyler uses his appearance as a reliable boyfriend to gain Wednesday's trust, only to betray her later, a clear sign of emotional abuse and deception.
Toxic relationships are often characterized by one partner trying to isolate the other from his or her support networks.
Although Tyler does not isolate Wednesday in the traditional sense, her emotional duplicity alienates her from her sources of trust and safety.
Studies such as Walker's (1979) work on battered women show how the sense of emotional isolation and confusion created by manipulative partners leads to deeply dysfunctional relationships.
Wednesday, in her search for answers, finds herself dependent on Tyler, only to be betrayed.
Tyler does not provide true support to Wednesday, but rather exploits her vulnerabilities for his own purposes.
According to Gottman and Silver (1999), one of the strongest predictors of relational success is the presence of mutual emotional support.
In the relationship with Tyler, this element is entirely absent, as his support is conditional and aimed at manipulation.
In sharp contrast, the relationship between Wednesday and Enid shows mutual support that encourages personal growth.
Following Deci and Ryan's (2000) self-determination theory, relationships that promote personal growth and autonomy lead to greater well-being and satisfaction.
Enid helps Wednesday explore aspects of herself that she usually represses, such as the ability to connect emotionally with others.
At the same time, Wednesday offers Enid a more rational and pragmatic perspective, helping her to become more confident.
Enid and Wednesday's ability to deal with and resolve conflict is a hallmark of a healthy relationship.
Without question, according to Canary and Stafford (1992), open communication and the ability to handle conflict are critical to maintaining a positive relationship.
Even when the two disagree, as shown on several occasions in the series, they manage to find a balance and respect each other's boundaries.
This mutual respect is fundamental to a balanced relationship.
The relationship between Wednesday and Enid is distinguished by the strong mutual support that fosters the development of both of their identities. Bowlby (1969) in his attachment theory stresses the importance of having a partner who provides emotional security, allowing the other to explore and develop their identity.
Enid provides Wednesday with a “safe harbor,” helping her navigate her complex emotions, while Wednesday provides Enid with rational support that encourages her to explore and accept her unique identity.
Studies such as Bancroft's (2002) on emotional abuse and coercive control show that toxic relationships are often characterized by a cycle of manipulation, isolation, and lack of mutual support, elements that are clearly found in the dynamic between Wednesday and Tyler.
In contrast, healthy relationships such as the one between Wednesday and Enid are based on reciprocity, open communication, and emotional support, elements that research indicates are fundamental to relational well-being.
The portrayal of positive queer relationships, such as the potential one between Wednesday and Enid, is supported by research that points to the importance of inclusive role models for the well-being of LGBTQ+ people.
A report by Meyer (2003) on minority stress theory shows that having positive models of queer relationships can reduce feelings of isolation and increase feelings of belonging and acceptance.
Thank you for reading this far and I wish you a good day✨✨✨
ok so my house of leaves x saw au. at first i was just thinking about dumping current wade in a fucked up building as a mission-gone-wrong type thing, but now i'm thinking it could be a modified stryker/francis experiment. so origins wade is taken and put in a series of saw traps in a house that does not make any logical sense--since this takes place in the 70s, superpowers of any kind are not that well known, so magic is involved but wade doesn't know it. so there's the psychological aspect of it in the form of the "sentient" house, and the physical torture of the saw traps which i'm thinking would parallel francis's torture methods
eventually logan finds him like he did in origins, but in a different context and after his mutation into deadpool (not weapon xi) has been awakened. then they get together because logan is the only thing keeping wade sane after all of that
#user: gossippool 😝#gossippool writes#typing this all out in the shower bc it's where i get all my ideas 😭#i'm literally never gonna write this i feel like it's easier on film or if i could do a house of leaves type format#maybe i'll do an art series#also sooo many perks to having this be set in the 20th century. phones suck ass#no mode of communication whatsoever#unknown powers#wahoo!#still want to write my good omens house of leaves x piranesi au tho bc that had so much potential#one day...#deadpool and wolverine#poolverine#deadpool#wade wilson#wolverine#logan howlett
I use the terms therian, Otherkin, cladotherian, and polykin (as well as nonhuman and Alterhuman ofc)
im a cat and a dragon, I might be crowhearted but idk, I’m still questioning some other form of wingedkin
im not entirely sure if I experience shifts, possibly a phantom snout and anthro-esque hind legs sometimes
I honestly don’t really know, cos it’s just part of being me. I wouldn’t really be able to separate it from any other aspect of myself
overall the community is pretty good, and it’s nice to be able to share my experiences with others. Obviously there are some aspects that it could do without (eg. the separation of different social media)
I love wearing my tail and being able to be affectionate with my friends (especially when they pat my head) but also just knowing that my people accept and appreciate all of me and my identity
yeah, mainly wanting wings, sharper teeth and claws, the ability to comfortable walk on all fours
obviously research the different terms, but you really don’t need to delve super deep into what different animals are like to figure out your kin types. It’s completely fine to base it purely off of vibes, and not getting it right first try is honestly just part of the process
yes! I have a yarn tail, but I definitely want a Dino mask to personalise
well, my cat kintype is mostly psychological in nature (ie. I’m a cat right now, and it’s influenced a lot by my autism), but my dragon ‘type is mostly spiritual (kind of like a past life). I think that’s what the question meant anyways
@flinnirthefruityfiend @sapphicdragons-4 @jasperkata @juniperonpaws @retic-pithon @wimdywhimsy @thisfoxisgayaf @maggie--pie @your-pal-nebula @amphibiananarchy @arctic-the-otherkin-alterhuman
If you are a alterhuman, reblog and answer these questions!
(don't be afraid to write a lot, do what you want ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
1/ Which category of alterhumanity do you belong to?
2/ What/who is/are your type(s)? (if you have any)
3/ Do you experience shifts? If so, can you tell us your most common shifts and your strangest cameo shift (if you've ever had a cameo shift)?
4/ How do you experience your alterhumanity in everyday life?
5/ What do you think of the community?
6/ What are the things that make you most comfortable and euphoric in your alterhumanity?
7/ Are you experiencing species dysphoria?
8/ What advice would you like to say to a young alterhuman who has just awakened?
9/ Do you have/want to have gears?
10/ Do you know/have any theories about the origin of your alterhumanity? If so, tell us! (all beliefs are legitimate)
11/ Tag someone/a creature to answer these questions!ㅤᵕ̈
this might be a stupid question but what are the rules of omegaverse? or like idk how to phrase it but what's the set up?
On Omegaverse
Not a stupid question! In fact, a really good question because the answer is anything but straightforward!
♡ Consensus still pending...
There aren't really any set rules in the Omegaverse, which is why, when reading an Omegaverse fic, there will often be a paragraph or two at the beginning of the story explaining the setting, rules, culture, and dynamics specific to that Omegaverse alone.
Even so, I'll try to explain the overall concept, as well as divulge some of the common tropes different writers use.
And so, first off! Plainly put, the Omegaverse is an alternate universe in which human beings can have an additional gender, referred to as the second gender—most commonly but not restricted to Alpha, Beta, and Omega. Across different Omegaverses, these second genders act as defining factors, often deciding social rank as well as playing a part in determining other physical, physiological, and psychological attributes of a character.
♡ Alpha, Beta, Omega, Whatnow?
Alpha, Beta, and Omega are ranks typically used within the hierarchy of a wolf pack. The general idea is that Alphas are the pack's leaders, with Betas as their second in command, while Omegas exist at the bottom as the lowest-ranking members.
I want to note really quickly that this view of wild wolves is an old conception and has since been criticized and debunked—something I'll write more in length near the bottom of the post.
But anyway, regarding the Omegaverse, this is still the general dynamic, wherein the Alpha, Beta, and Omega titles aren't only used to identify rank but exist as actual bodily differences as well—referred to as second genders.
And, while Alpha, Beta, and Omega are the token types in most Omegaverse settings, they aren't standardized. For example, Betas can sometimes be ruled out entirely to focus purely on Alpha x Omega pairings—while other writers might add even more types into the mix, such as Delta, Gamma, Sigma, etc...
There aren't any rules to this.
♡ Werewolves or nah?
Since the ranking system was originally taken from the wolf hierarchy, it's natural to think that the Omegaverse has to have something to do with werewolves, hybrids, or some other type of bestiality.
The answer to this is both yes and no.
In some Omegaverses, it's true that characters will be some or other version of werewolves. Hybrids with tails, fluffy ears, claws, etc—or shapeshifters who can fully transform themselves into four-legged canines—or any other type of werewolf you can think of.
This is all a creator's choice and up to them to implement or not!
As for other Omegaverses, characters will be described as regular human beings but with added instincts and characteristics in line with what second gender they have: Alpha, Beta, Omega, etc... Here, the whole wolf aspect of things isn't highlighted, though might still be used somewhat metaphorically.
There are no rules to this either. Only options.
Additionally, not all Omegaverse hybrids need to take after wolves alone. The range can be broadened to include any type of dog breed—Huskies, Labradors, Chihuahuas, etc. Here, apart from physical attributes, what type of dog a character is can also play a part in what type of personality they have. For example, Huskies are diligent characters, Labradors are fun-loving and playful, while Chihuahuas are uncharacteristically combative for their size.
I've even come across some writers whose Omegaverse includes any and all types of hybrids, having Alpha horses, Beta oxen, and Omega bunnies. However, I'd say this is less common and will more likely be referred to as hybrid au or something of the like.
♡ Characteristics!
Though there are no rules, there are some common understandings of how the different types of second genders tend to look and act.
Starting off with Alphas. They're usually described as big and strong and come forth as the designated leaders in society.
Personality-wise, they can be loud and oppressive but can also be shown as silent, stoic types who command the room simply with their presence. In any case, they're often very masculine and dominating, always marking their territory and striving to be the ones in charge, with a tendency to be very protective of what's theirs and rather aggressive when challenged.
More physical attributes other than strength and size may be added, such as an array of muscles and a gifted nether region, including the knot.
The knot is most common in Omegaverses that have a hybrid spin. In simple terms, the knot is a group of muscles found at the base of an Alpha's manhood, which swells up when they're close to climaxing to keep their partner from pulling away and so ensuring that their spend doesn't escape.
More traits common for Alphas in the hybrid Omegaverse are bigger and stronger fangs than their other counterparts, as well as larger and longer claws, better hearing, optics, and sense of smell—they're also faster, stronger, and often smarter than the rest. All reasons as to why they're considered the leaders in society.
But all in all, whether you include all of this or not, Alphas are considered the ones at the top of the food chain.
And at the bottom of that food chain, we find Omegas.
Often portrayed as small, weak, and meek by nature—Omegas are the opposite of Alphas. And yet, despite this, Omegas are also highly desired by Alphas for mating reasons. Although this isn't really taken from our understanding of how actual wolf packs work, it is often the case in the Omegaverse.
You see, in the Omegaverse, Omegas are considered highly fertile and domestic, making them objects of desire for Alphas. In turn, Omegas will usually want an Alpha—the bigger and stronger, the better—to provide, protect, and keep them safe from other Alphas.
Furthermore, Omegas are said to be very pretty, sometimes to an irresistible degree, and will often be described as cute and doe-eyed.
Hybrid Omegas have all the same physical attributes as Alphas, but smaller—so tiny teeth, short and sometimes dull claws, soft bodies without much muscle, etc...
Simply put, Alphas are large and dominant, while Omegas are small and submissive.
Now Betas, on the other hand, are a little more ambiguous...
Some choose to make them the odd men out, characters without Omega/Alpha instincts and needs—making them the normal humans in an Omegaverse society. Here, Alphas and Omegas are more or less an altogether different species than Betas.
Others choose to treat the second gender as a spectrum going from Alpha to Omega with Beta in the middle—here, Betas might vary from being recessive Alphas to recessive Omegas.
Others, again, portray Betas only as just below Alphas—so, still big and strong but falling just short of being the biggest and strongest.
Hybrid Betas will be described as something in between Alphas and Omegas, or simply as smaller Alphas—so moderately sized teeth, claws, muscle mass, etc.
There are no rules to this, but all in all, Betas are usually portrayed as being less desirable to both Alphas and Omegas—for these mentioned reasons and for further reasons we'll divulge now.
♡ Scents, Ruts, Heats and Suppressants
This is what makes up the charm in the Omegaverse.
Scent is basically the Omegaverse word for pheromones.
It's often the difference in scent that allows characters to identify and determine whether someone is an Alpha, Omega, Beta, etc. Moreover, scents are used to arouse and are often what induce heats and ruts, which we'll talk about shortly.
But first! Alpha scents are usually described as spicy and musky, whereas Omega scents tend to be described as sweet. Both, respectfully, are designed to attract the other.
Betas, on the other hand, are either described as not having scent glands the same way Alphas and Omegas do or have them but exude a very weak scent, which in some Omegaverses might be the very reason they're deemed as Betas—labeled as defective Alphas or Omegas.
This is all up to the writer. There can be many other descriptions defining the Beta type, each different from the first—too many to explain here. A writer can more or less make their own definition of what makes someone a Beta.
But in any case, Alphas and Omegas are often said to be indifferent to a Beta's scent. Likewise, Betas aren't affected by Alpha and Omega scents—either because they can't really detect them or because it doesn't affect them the same way, usually because Betas don't experience heats or ruts such as Alphas and Omegas do—though this can also be decided by the author.
Again, no rigorous set of rules applies here. It all depends on whether the Betas are portrayed as being normal humans in an Omegaverse society or something more like recessive or defective Alphas/Omegas.
But onto heats and ruts!
Omegas go into heat, whereas Alphas go into ruts. Betas, as I already mentioned, are often said to go into neither—but that's a choice the writer makes.
And, as you've probably guessed by now, there are a lot of different choices a writer can make here...
Omegas often have a heat cycle—meaning they experience regular and scheduled heats. You can think of it like the menstrual cycle. It doesn't have to be once a month or every full moon—it can be twice a year before winter and spring or once a year between January and April like female wolves have. Like many things, it's up to the writer to decide. But in any case, Omegas tend to go into heat on a regular basis.
Additionally, the scent of an Alpha can sometimes induce spontaneous heat in an Omega outside their heat cycle.
But what is heat exactly?
Well, heat is the time when an Omega is most fertile. When Omegas go into this heat, they're often said to feel horny for no apparent reason, often to the point of feeling frustrated and feverish, while exuding copious amounts of slick and scent in order to attract a mate.
The degree of these symptoms varies from writer to writer. Some like to portray heats almost like a sickness, describing a burning ache in the lower belly making the Omegas bedridden and damn-near delirious, whereas other writers make their Omegas fully functional, only feeling slight discomfort—while other writers incorporate both for different types of Omegas, some highly sensitive and others not so much. Again, same as with menstruation, some women feel high levels of pain, and others don't feel anything at all.
Ruts are a bit different...
Most writers treat ruts like the Alpha equivalent of heat—meaning it's when their libido is at its highest and their need-to-mate through the roof. But whether this is also based on a cycle or is simply triggered when encountering an attractive mate varies from writer to writer.
The symptoms of an Alpha's rut are also a matter of debate. Some writers make their Alphas go completely berserk, all manners of rationale gone, blacked out with only one goal left in their head: to mate until their ball's empty. Other writers make them simply become hot and bothered and a little more aggressive than normal. And some writers choose both, making their Alphas lose control over specific Omega scents while having less of a reaction to others.
But onto suppressants!
Sometimes called heat/rut suppressants or inhibitors, these usually exist in the Omegaverse and are sort of their version of the pill, only different and with more effects.
Heat suppressants or Omega inhibitors are often explained to minimize the effects of a heat or to prevent it completely, making them highly useful for sensitive Omegas that experience tough heats regularly.
Rut suppressants or Alpha inhibitors are, similarly, for Alphas who experience rough ruts or who are sensitive to Omega scents.
All in all, suppressants and inhibitors are taken to avoid the effects of ruts and heats.
You also have something called scent blockers, which, as the name suggests, makes the person who takes them dull their scent glands, making it so that they don't emit too much of a scent. This is useful for Omegas and Alphas who don't want to attract attention.
♡ Pairing, Mating, Marking, Biting, and Bonding!
So, as we've already gone over, the most common pairing is Alpha x Omega. But it doesn't have to be that way! Anyone can, of course, be with anyone, even in the Omegaverse. Omega x Omega, Alpha x Alpha, Beta x Omega, Alpha x Beta, and Beta x Beta are all still valid pairs, as well as all other variations with the other additional second genders.
However, there are some things that will work differently or, in some cases, won't work at all.
First on that list are, as we just covered, scents, ruts, and heats.
As I said, Betas aren't usually affected by Alpha/Omega scents, but they can still feel attraction for them anyway! The same goes for same-second-sex relationships. Omegas won't affect each other with their scents, but they can still like each other despite that. Alphas, too, can fall for other Alphas even without them necessarily being affected by one another's scent.
The matter, then, of course, is whether they can satisfy each other when their heats and ruts come along. Generally, an Alpha and Omega are made to please the other, and so it's common to see writers make their Beta x Omega/Alpha pairs and same-second-sex pairs struggle with this—which is where using suppressants and inhibitors may come in handy.
Another thing that will work differently is bonding.
Bonding or marking happens when one or both in a pair mark each other with their bite, thus solidifying them as mates.
This, however, is commonly agreed that only works and happens between Alphas and Omegas, where Alphas will deal the bite to the Omega or both unto each other. This is often described as an irreversible act, forever binding them together as a mated pair.
Depending on the writer's choices, there may or may not be any merit in an Alpha biting a Beta or of a Beta biting an Omega—and even less in two Alphas or two Omegas biting each other.
And so, as you can tell, a lot of the Omegaverse rests on the idea that Alphas and Omegas are meant for each other and only each other—and therein lies the potential juicy conflict, which we'll discuss a little later, but first...
♡ Soulmates!
This is another common facet in the Omegaverse.
The soulmate idea typically rests on two concepts. We went over the first one: the bite that seals the bond between an Alpha and Omega for life. Here, Alphas and Omegas can more or less choose their soulmate.
Additionally, it's often a factor that after the bite is dealt, the Alpha and Omega in that bond will only affect each other with their scents and will only be able to reach satisfaction with each other when experiencing ruts and heats—basically making them fully dependent on one another forever.
The other soulmate concept is based on the idea that an Alpha or Omega will recognize the scent of their mate—at first sniff! Here, soulmates are predetermined and not chosen.
Both of these concepts can exist in one Omegaverse. Sometimes, the scent will be used to identify a soulmate but will still need to be confirmed and sealed through a bite or rejected by not biting.
♡ Culture, Society, and Politics
This is where you can really have fun!
When you have characters in ranks like Alpha, Beta, and Omega, who are supposed to be one thing, it can be interesting to suddenly make them the opposite.
For example, Alphas are supposed to be successful winners—but as we see in real life, not all those who have everything going for them end up with it all. So it could be fun to take the angle of a loser Alpha who hasn't got what he feels entitled to.
Or to have a really successful and independent Omega, who is generally only supposed to be a housewife for Alphas.
Betas can be a fun role to play with too. You can make them salty for not being Alphas, desperate to do anything in order to prove themselves—or you can make them happy outsiders who're relieved they don't have to participate in any of the Alpha-Omega nonsense.
Additionally, as we covered earlier, you can break the normal pairings. You can make Alphas who are sickeningly interested in courting only Betas—who almost seem to think of them as a conquest. Or Omegas, who're frightened of Alphas and end up only courting each other. Or Alphas who think everyone is beneath them and also decide that only those of their own rank are worth their time. Or Omegas who, instead of settling for just one Alpha, goes for two Betas, like in this fic:
♡ TWO BETAS, ONE OMEGA
And that's only breaking gender and social norms! We can also break the body norms! Such as suddenly making a really big and strong Omega and a small and cute Alpha. A dynamic I explore in this fic:
♡ UNNATURAL
♡ World Structure
There are many different types of Omegaverses. Still, I'd say we can categorize the Omegaverse by three different types of world structures: modern, primal, and dystopian.
Modern Omegaverses are reminiscent of the real world but with the added Alpha, Beta, and Omega dynamics.
Primal Omegaverse is where society is set out in the wild—this is also the type of Omegverse that usually features hybrids.
Examples of primal Omegaverse:
♡ SILLY LITTLE MATE
Dystopian is modern Omegaverse, but with laws and politics that support segregation between the second genders where Omegas are usually being oppressed and treated as lesser humans—this is the one I play around with most.
Examples of dystopian Omegaverse:
♡ TWIST OF FATE ♡ THE OMEGA INSTITUTION ♡ HARD-LEARNED LESSON
♡ Second gender and male pregnancy!?
I'm not an expert when it comes to this type of Omegaverse, but yes, male pregnancy is possible in some Omegaverses due to the existence of second genders.
This type of Omegaverse is popular in the Boy Love genre.
Here, Omega males can be impregnated by Alphas.
Male Betas, however, can neither impregnate male Omegas nor be impregnated by Alphas. They can, on the other hand, still impregnate any type of female.
Additionally, Alpha females can also impregnate Omegas. In this type of Omegaverse, Alpha females are often portrayed as futanari—meaning they have both sets of genitalia.
Rules to this vary, though I'm unfortunately not well-versed enough to explain it all. And so I'll leave it at that.
♡ Other Animalistic Elements May Be Included!
Impregnation may be referred to as catching, and babies as pups. Additionally, Omegas will often be said to carry litters, meaning more than just one pup—sometimes a lot more.
Scent glands exist on the wrists and in the juncture between the neck and shoulder—which is also where the bite is dealt.
Imprinting can be another aspect of things. This is something that happens as you grow up, often between childhood friends and siblings and with parents. Imprinting simply means that you recognize the scent of someone else as kin, trustworthy, or a source of comfort. Pets do this with their owners, for example.
A home, bedroom, or simply a bed might be called a nest or den. Nesting is when a character spends time in the nest, typically for Omegas during heat or pregnancy.
Other than that, I'd say there's a lot more one can implement in the Omegaverse. But this concludes the general idea of things as well as some further inspiration for those who might want it.
♡ Wolf Pack Hierarchy: Debunked!
I want to clarify that the Alpha, Beta, and Omega ranks aren't really as relevant out in the wild as many would believe.
Wolf packs out in the wild are usually only made up of two parents and their children and, therefore, actually have a similar type of hierarchy to that of human families. Wolf cubs come of age before they turn three, at which point they'll leave their family pack, find a mate, and start their own pack. Leaving no need for ranks, just the simplicity of mother, father, and offspring.
However, wolf packs kept in reservoirs and captivity are different because they're usually much bigger, including not only relatives but random non-relatives, at which point a hierarchy is needed, which is where the idea of the Alpha, Beta, and Omega dynamic originally comes from—from humans studying a large group of mostly unfamiliar wolves held strictly in captivity.
This would be the same as locking a number of random humans together in a house and deeming the outcome a solid case study for what happens naturally when, in reality, it's the farthest thing from natural occurrence possible.
Of course, wolf packs of a larger number do exist out in the wild as well, though they are uncommon. But even then, the simple dynamics of Alpha, Beta, and Omega don't apply as straightforwardly as it sounds.
But anyway, here's a last fun fact about wolves: they mate for life!
So I went and saw Trap today. Normally I don’t like Shyamalan’s stuff but this one was pretty solid apart from everyone on the FBI apparently being dumber than rocks.
The more I watched and saw Cooper’s character, the more I was like “oh true crime fangirl tumblr and autistic bitches are gonna have a FIELD DAY with this guy”
I get home, look up only the tag for the movie.
First thing I see is a Cooper x Reader moodboard.
I fucking called it.
Enjoy your charismatic psycho dad you freaks (affectionate)
To me he is a character I wanna study like a bug and put inside a little jar and shake until he’s disoriented
#trap movie#cooper adams#trap 2024#josh hartnett#I give a solid 7/10#not really a horror movie imo#but I liked the psychological aspect of it#when it wasn’t trying to stigmatize ocd at least#it’s so funny how there’s so much cooper adams thirsting already#the tags for this movie are full of it it’s so funny
can I say something is this a safe space. it's kind of fascinating that ford is meant to read as a deeply repressed character and a capital s Scientist no less but he leads this other half of his life entirely dedicated to the occult. in the 70's-80's. like the historical connotations of the occult and what they represented in the united states at least seems kind of interesting in this context. for no reason in particular I find the dual aspects of "extremely dedicated to presenting as a logical, steadfast researcher trying to earn respect and social acceptance to the point of hinging all of his self worth on this vision for the future working out" and "deeply tied to the paranormal and "unsavory black magic" and everything Weird/freakish but feels like he needs to hide this aspect of himself from even the people closest to him" Very interesting. hiding six-fingered hands compulsively behind his back even if it's the emblem he puts on his journals. "what are you attracted to?" and "maybe you're simply attracted to things that hurt you" from two different points in the book. sweet dreams (are made of this) on the record player. hey does anyone know what that tarot card with a snake on it is meant to represent
#lab notes#utterly incomprehensible post sorry guys#and it drives me insaneeeee because people just don't talk about this aspect of him as a character. which like okay yeah makes sense#one half of the fandom would use it as shipping fuel and the other half probably don't want to think about it#but oh my godddddddddd oh my god. you could write psychology textbooks about this guy#to make it more obvious I think ford is not Just repressed about being gay and I think people go about it wrong#he is on some much weirder shit than internalized homophobia#and representing it through his falling in with occult studies/practices is fascinating to me#his 'the only way I can get what I want is if I sacrifice All my boundaries and autonomy' moment. real self-haters understand#[they start dragging me off stage] and do you ever think about how bill was literally a cult leader if we take the billville pages as canon
YA. YOU GET IT.
I'm letting most of this marinate in my brain for now, and plan to revisit it once I know more about what the fuck is going on, but all the aspects of jungian psychology drive me insane, man.
I love the idea of Akira being multiplicity - it's great on a meta level, because silent protagonists are pretty much made to be malleable, but I'm now paying even more attention to Akira's dialogue options and the meaning behind them. (A lot of my favorite moments are the ones where I don't really get a choice)
One thing! I already love the fake glasses for several reasons, BUT I also keep thinking about the last scene w Maruki, and how both their glasses were fogged up by the food. It got a laugh out of me, but it's one of the moments that I'll keep chewing on as I go.
And Akira looking much softer and less intimidating without the glasses.. heh. im so glad im an artist
Anyways. I'm trying to keep this as short as possible b4 I go back after finishing the game but you already gave me like 20 new art ideas, that's for sure
MARUKI YOU ARE A JENGA TOWER. WHAT IS YOUR FUCKING DEAL
#p5r lb#REAL GOOD RANT#o yea and abt akechi: he has taken over my brain since day one anyways but#i just got past the betrayal and man. man. MAN. REALLY LOVE THAT KID. UNWELL LITTLE FREAK
I think the description of Benson and Randy's relationship as "parasocial" is quite apt. Benson says "I've been watching you, and I know for a fact..." He posits that Randy is not like anyone else in their small shitty town, that there's something uniquely 'fixable' about him. It's something that Benson stakes most of his motivation on throughout the movie 'it was the only thing I believed' and in some ways this is reflected in Randy as truth, but sometimes the character traits Benson projects onto Randy just fall short of reality. Randy says that his mom held him back a grade and Benson paints the picture of a domineering authority figure that Randy must rebel against, And clearly believes this is the case based on the tenacity with which he listens to--and disapproves of-- Randy's conversation with his mother on the phone. However listening to the conversation is just dull. His mom does come across as over bearing, pointing out the number of rings it took him to pick up, but she's otherwise normal compared to the image Benson seems to have of her. Same with Lisa. Benson strolled into the mall with Randy as though a great revelation was to be made, like Lisa was this monumental event in Randy's life, but Randy and Lisa's relationship was underwhelming. They were briefly dating in highschool and they broke it off rather amicably because Randy was not an emotionally fulfilling partner to Lisa. Randy claims not to know why Lisa broke up with him, and to Benson this is an injustice, but in reality it's just Randy being a little obtuse and naive about Lisa's emotional needs. Lisa could've been more transparent about why the relationship ended but they were kids, and she took the path of little resistance, likely in an attempt to spare Randy's feelings. There's nothing unique or life-altering about Lisa and Randy. Benson seems to project this false narrative onto Randy--and the rest of the world, tbh-- that is further highlighted by Marsha's character, who is another NPC that Benson decides to codify within his world view. Marsha once again deviates from the role Benson believes she fits in, standing up to him and rebelling against the notion that all other people in this town are aimless and complacent. Part of me wondered, after they went to Beard's house, why Randy's 'transformation' felt flat for me, and part of it is because the journey Randy takes is somewhat belied by the fact that Benson did not do any of that for Randy. Not any real version of Randy, anyway. Benson did it for a made up version of Randy in his head and he went along with it because there was a gun at his back.
#idrk#it's an interesting aspect of Bensons psychology#the passenger 2023#the passenger#randy bradley#Benson#like it makes me wonder about Randy's home life#the glimpses we get of it are just incredibly mundane#a sister that does dance an overinvolved mother#he was on good enough terms with Lisa that he knew where she worked years later#like i fully believe randy has friends outside of work#benson sees him as this total loser but like#hes justa guy. he was going to get a promotion#he had an asshole coworker and was maybe a little fixated on something he did when he was seven#but randy just seems very normal to me#i think in deciding that Randy was different and fixable benson was actually just acting out the hope that he himself was fixable#that maybe if he could save this young loser coworker from a job that he hated and a life repressing his emotions and never moving past his#trauma then benson too could have hope for himself#and so the end of the movie is kind of a juxtaposition for me#yes there was hope for Randy#there was#randy got to move on with his life got to have his character evolution got to process the traumatic event from his fundamental years#but benson very much did not#in the end it consumed him#and that's sad#anyways#things i think about instead of the impending biochem exam
Yo does that mean if psych accidently reverted error into geno, would he get his memories back (angsty idea)(what if?!?!)
Yes 100%. There is an initial shock period where the brain is trying to figure out what just happened and why they look different, but after the first few minutes memories start to come back. The reverted may not act exactly like they used to because they will still hold the experiences of their pre reversion form (the progressed), but they would also remember the experiences of them now reversed too. In this example the newly reverted geno holds all geno experiences and all error experiences which are all vivid and freshly new in his mind.
The entire point of reversion is for patients to understand themselves, breaking them down into their basic traumatic components of self to help them remember what happened and who they were. After typically three hours they progress back into their normal form but all patients no matter how painful, distressing, or distorting the progression back is they will be able to recall the new memories to some degree. the physical component of reversion is temporary, the mental impact is permanent.
Considering all this, psych needs to be extremely careful when reverting because he could easily traumatize or fuck it up, this is why he usually performs this task in a professional setting or at worst against his wil (in combat).
#psychology sans#psych sans#I like questions like these#but yeah remembering is a huge aspect to reversion#thanks for asking
