Rumi was never allowed to have much growing up. She simply didn't have time for things between hunter and idol training. After the creation of the new Honmoon, she becomes an active collector. She particularly likes collecting little HUNTR/X figurines from those shitty gatcha machines. She has hundreds of little toys, and she even had a custom shelf made to hold her toys.

Zoey, trying to bond with Rumi, introduces her to Pokémon. It was a mistake. Rumi is suddenly obsessed with the pocket monsters, and she has binders full of cards. The fans find out about her collection, and offer to trade with her at events. Pokémon even works with her to advertise one of their new games.

Mira, despite saying that she doesn't think Rumi needs all of these toys, will often come home with HUNTR/X plushies from claw machines (Mira is fucking CRACKED at those games). Rumi loves every single one she gets, and often thanks Mira by asking if she wants to play with her. Mira always says yes.

For their first anniversary, Rumi comes out of her room with little keychains for her girls that she made herself. They're a mix of clay, some of her duplicate gatcha figures, and her own skills with string. The girls start bawling when they see them, and Rumi panics thinking that her girls hate them. That is quickly proven wrong when they both jump on her to kiss her.

(Also, let me know what y'all think Rumi's favorite Pokémon is)

Rumi & Jinu but sibling-coded

Jinu acting like the older brother who always knows exactly how to rile up his little sister. Rumi acting like the little sister who always is one step ahead of her older brother. She knows exactly how to scare the crap out of him. He can pick her up and throw her over his shoulder despite how hard she punches him. They bicker and throw hands over the dumbest shit. But they also stick up for each other and protect each other when things go down

Jinu seeing this as a second try, another chance to be a better brother. Rumi never had siblings before - Mira and Zoey being the closest thing but her relationship with them is...different. Both her and Jinu realize that the things they feel toward each other aren't grounded in romance, but rather a sense of belonging. People who understand what the other is going through, not unlike siblings who grew up in the same troubled house. Jinu still being the person Rumi feels like she can talk to when there's a reason she can't involve Mira or Zoey (the latest being whether or not she should get engagement rings now or wait until after their latest tour). Jinu imparting weird, ancient wisdoms that sound smart, but are horridly outdated. Rumi teaching him more about the human world from what he got from his two weeks of exposure. Jinu teaches Rumi how to use her demon powers. The two of them swapping stringed instrument tips with each other.

Whenever fans spot them together or try shipping them, Jinu has a sign prepared

Which...doesn't help. Because now the internet is freaking out because Jinu from the Saja Boys is Rumi from Huntr/x's BROTHER?!? Help??? I was today years old when...

Zoey and Mira are still wary of him at first, but once they realize he's not competition and Rumi seems genuinely happier with him around, they accept it.

You know what I love about Kpop Demon Hunters?

Like yes the choreo and songs and writing and designs and animation are all spectacular, but there's something this movie has done for me that makes it very special.

It normalizes eating.

Yes, I'm aware actual Kpop stars barely eat anything and that is an issue (among many) in the industry, but just seeing that beginning scene with the Huntrix trio shoving food into their mouths and rambling about how many calories they need is SO important. More movies need to normalize not looking conventionally attractive while eating or not just eating a few morsels at a time. These girls WORK, they NEED that food and it's so special to me that the movie never discourages this. To a child who's growing up in a very body conscious world, seeing your idols/favorite characters eat a good full meal can make such a difference. It's even helped me feel less self conscious eating around other people, this shit works guys! It's effective!

TLDR; normalize movies normalizing eating <3
