theres some untranslated wingdings cause i love translating it myself, hope others do too :D

not confident on how “canon” or in-character this is but- I HAD FUN this AU has really got me in the rendering spirit, I really enjoy taking inspiration but also adding mu own silly twists on it and AAA everything looks even more tasty now

also i never poster about this- but i had another forgettable dream. it didn’t make any godamn sense. I woke up and drew the only scene I could remember:

Wingdings and Sans had a fight and ig wingdings killed Sans 😭😭😭 in a stairwell for some reason

i'm trying to gather fonts for the recipes in D'Jeet? WIP and my cover artist made me question some things so now i need y'all to answer me a question:

#my mama wrote exclusively in really teeny tiny cursive so i didn't even question using a script font #but my artist can't read cursive???#like i sent the original recipe to her and the fonts i was looking at and she was like 'that's really cool but i can't read it'#and i just #had a buffering moment #because what do you mean you can't read my mama's writing and my granmama's writing #we're lucky my momma and i don't write in cursive but everyone above the age of like 50 in my family does #and it's like hard to read cursive that i was v much toning down in my font choice #am i gonna need cursive translating print text in this book?#writeblr #polls

hello it's part 3 of 3 for my cool fun graphic design adventure!! part 1 and part 2 got too long. to recap i am recreating this t-shirt design but with the magic 8 ball songs instead of city names:

Colophon

...I realized I never really said this 😅, and just assumed folks would see it in the pdfs, but it might be helpful to let people know I include colophons at the end of almost all [edit: uh, actually, just most of my recent files have the colophons. Something for me to add in the futre lol] the books I post on here. By definition, a colophon is 'an inscription at the end of a book or manuscript usually with facts about its production' (Merriam-Webster).

My colophons list the details of that typeset, such as what page size/dimensions it was made for and what fonts were used. Below is the one in the back of Ivanhoe:

I just thought this might be useful for folks interested in the fonts I use.
