psst, hey, fellow selfshippers and lovers of fictional characters!! something i want to share and reassure folks on as a person who gets character crushes super easily: don't be embarrassed by whoever's making your brain light up 🥰💖 i see some lovely folks get really in their head about this. perhaps they've always crushed on a specific kind of character, so when they get one who's a little different, they feel like they can't talk about it. maybe they've touted themselves as having one crush and have been super dedicated that whole time, so feel like it's a betrayal somehow, or makes them less of whichever label (e.g., yume, selfshipper, etc.) they've identified with. i'm here to tell you that's all nonsense!! 💖 this is fandom. you're not an influencer and you don't need to keep up a specific 'brand'!! if you see a character who makes your heart all gushy, don't think up an imaginary critical audience who is going to yell at you for not fixating on the 'right' thing. life's too short to deny yourself happiness 🫂

-I'm 14k into my lightlark3 review! I would say this puts me about halfway. there's a lot to talk about, especially from a broader perspective of the series as a whole. my original lightlark vid is 4hours and was 27k, so. we're on track

-I'm going to pummel netflix into the ground for keeping me hostage on my copyright dispute regarding my Uglies movie review. They have 3 more days to get back to me and if they don't, I'll be clear to post it.

-I haven't filmed the faceblindness vid yet but should, I just keep spending my workable time... working on lightlark3, oops. ideally this weekend, and it'll be a fast edit to release period.

-I'm working really hard every day I can, but never forget please I'm disabled and mentally/chronically ill. sometimes my body wakes up and chooses extreme violence. videos, unfortunately, will come when they come.

My favourite way of choosing podcast to listen to is seeing people being batshit crazy, extremely enthusiastic, writing serious interpretations and silly posts about it, posting fanart, etc.

I don't think Jayce and Viktor literally died. They were kind of pulled into another dimension/astral plane/whatever you call it. We see older Viktor, and while it could be another Viktor, I think it would be more meaningful if it was our Viktor, finally free from the arcane, going through the universe with Jayce, fixing timelines together. Kind of like a cosmic mission.

this scene is comedic gold but also so indicative of all their dynamics. esti’s exaggerated cartoon-like legs flailing about as she gets up to run away is so funny but she clearly wants nothing to do with lupe at this point, lupe obviously caring about esti being missing but insisting she doesn’t and then putting on an angry front, esti telling her that she’s not her mother hitting a nerve, lupe acting both like a scolding mother and an immature squabbling sibling, jess trying to talk some sense into lu, who still stubbornly refuses to listen and tries to push past jess, jess being so exasperated by lupe’s behaviour to the point where they think it’s a little funny.

like imagine you accompany the destined one and zhu bajie and you end up having to explain why you know so much despite very much Not Being From Here and you quote "this is an RPG, what role am I playing? the fucking victim?" while describing the combat or start yapping about how insane it would be if BMW was an open world because if that happened and the graphics were the same then your console would like, explode, and they just look at you like you've grown 3 heads

like you could be the funniest mf out there but you giggling at your own jokes just makes them worry about your own mental state 💀💀
