#bg3 #baldur's gate 3 #minthara #minthara baenre #evil murder kitten #i know i've posted this one before #but i just can't get over how cute and adorable she is right here - she really looks like a startled cat #regardless of whether you sleep with her or not #the prism still temporarily broke her connection to the absolute and then returned it to her right when she was about to kill you #and it sparked an immediate crisis of faith because everything about that night is all wrong - except for you #you having no connection to the absolute causes her to doubt the extent of the absolute's control #but she also begins to question the absolute as she found peace in the silence - peace in the absolute *not* controlling her for once #even with the absolute having returned to her - she still wants a reason *not* to kill you #in that moment she clocked you as a potential enemy of the absolute and by her oath - she would be obligated to kill you #which is why the only reason you can get her to stand down is by proving to her that you are not an enemy #and it is pretty easy to convince her that you're not an enemy because she is that desperate for any excuse from you #minthara is not the kind of person who would back off and run from a fight - and is definitely not spooked about assassinations #and she most certainly has stabbed someone in their sleep before and has killed a lover #but she does not like to engage in fights that she does not think are necessary nor to kill those she does not have a reason to kill #the fact that she pulled away when you caught her and she didn't immediately escalate the conflict into a full fight #is a pretty big indication that she has some pretty extreme doubts about the absolute - and *she* does not see you as an enemy

Do you get the impression the live action is treating us like utter morons?? Like I thought that making it aimed at an older audience would open the doors for more subtle story telling, but no, they're just using monologues to tell us eveything! Like in the second episode Katara's like 'oh his power isn't that he's the avatar, it's that he ~connects~ to people'. Girl we're not idiots we can see that!! And the first episode with Aang's goddawful 'I don't want this responsibility' monologue

THIS, YES. The word that keeps coming to mind is definitely "subtlety". The show for literal children? Had it. The remake for adults? Not so much.

rereading the nuca pink doujin and seeing yakumo tear himself apart re: his snake form vs his human form all this agony and self-doubt and silent suffering and fear of rejection like "if i looked less human would u hate me" , "if u saw me in my true form wouldn't that be horrible. terrifying. disgusting" , "if i admitted i want to swallow you whole would you think worse of me"

and i imagine him asking something like this to the crowd of clan members , who are , undeniably,, a group of Kinky Fuckers

I need more selkie theon (and asha. I just think that would be a vibe. fuck the greyjoy sigil being a kraken for a moment and let them be seals) content.

like the opportunity to have theon's coat taken by ned when he's made his ward is right there and it is perfect and beautiful and tragic.

and you could build on that depending on the version of the selkie myth/story you're going off of (I personally love the song of the sea version of selkies for story writing). maybe he can't talk without it, maybe he gets sick, maybe his voice has magical properties of sorts.

I have this one concept in my head that I don't have the time to write, but it goes something along the lines of theon getting sick after years away from his coat and the stark kids have to find his coat and drag his slowly dying ass to the bay of seals (cause y'know bay of seals and theon's a selkie so he'll turn into a seal... I thought it was creative).

also, in a lot of versions of selkies, when they get sick, their hair turns white, which is on brand for theon. they're also pretty, their stories are typically soaked to the bone in tragedy, they're normally held captive/tortured, amongst other things, which are also very on brand for theon.

and maybe you get some selkie to selkie telepathy of sorts, so when theon finally enter the water a seal again, asha books it to come find him, cause its been years since she's been able to feel him (I'm soft for them, I will create the most improbable and ridiculous scenario's to bring them together and for them to have soft sibling moments).

all and all, theon being a selkie is something I need more content of, please and thank you.

#theon would be a harbor seal and asha would be a leopard seal. Ok, so I had this dream last night right? And it was mostly nonsensical and weird and silly, but there was this moment...

#ellennart #dream diary #fairy #dreams #pirate #I was the winged fairy girl at this point during a big battle #someone sliced me right down the front through my corset and dress #it was inspired I think by that fight in Zorro between Zorra and Elena #except NOT flirty dude was trying to kill me and sliced a wound down my chest #not super deep but still #and then this other guy #the one in the drawing #defected from the enemy side killed the other dude and very distressed tried to help me #which involved a very funny moment of him pulling my hands back to see the wound and realising my corset had been cut clean through #and us both getting extremely embarrassed and him pulling the corset back together and telling me to keep pressure on it #literally the most YA romantic comedy moment I've ever experienced #I think the main influences of this dream were that I recently watched a youtube reaction vid of someone watching Zorro for the first time #A drawing someone I follow did of that popular YA fae novel that I've never read #and looking at tangled concept art #and actually definitely the first aid course I did this week #because I remember them talking about how you need to cut clothing off someone to put the defib pads on their chest #and I was uncomfortable with the thought of someone having to do that to me #AND the fact I was paired with a cute guy I'd never met and we had to practice putting each other in the recovery position #which was SUPER awkward #so clearly my brain was like You know what would be fun? an even MORE awkward and painful scenario!#but make it fantasy!

I have brought the two halves of Spacehead back together. I now await my significant other to join me with glitter glue.

#I thought glitter glue would be fitting. Glitter is just tangible interactive stars after all is it not?#For now though I sit in the void and wait.#This is fine. I spend most of my time in the void anyway.#The broken half of the House froze over but everyone in it should be fine. Freeze overs aren't uncommon here.#We will have to step it up a bit though. I only wish we could do so more often but alas. We two take up too many spoons to front normally.#Yes the idea IS to literally glue the house back together. Don't worry Dark if you ever read this‚ it'll fade with time.#pk;m Mischief⚘#I do not expect this to hold for the record. What we're doing is forcing and speeding up recovery.#Whatever happened is a result of stress and it'll truly fix itself when the stress dies down.#While I'm here I'll try to remove the starmates from the broken half of the House into the other half and see if they defrost.#If so‚ good! If not‚ I tried. they'll defrost in due time.#... I can also possibly fix Bill's injuries with glitter glue too I think that'd look cute. #its not even that i think the doll on the right is bad or anything its the fact that they decided to make that her default design #in the movies and webisodes and stuff and had all her dolls after that have that same hair #like the original was soo cute .#and the newer design isnt BAD i do find it cute too and wouldnt have an issue with it if it was used on a separate character #or she only looked like that for one doll or movie or whatever #(like how some of the other characters will have a wildly differnet hair color/cut for 1 doll and then go back to normal after )#but the original was just better. and the redesign takes away a lot of what was unique about her design #(especially her hair . sucks that shes one of the only characters wiht that sort of hair texture and they permanently straightened it)#honestly considering its kind of emphasized a lot that howleen is one of the youngest characters in the cast #and is still finding herself and her style #her look being changed drastically from doll to doll would fit her character pretty well actually #but they only really changed it once. and then kept it like that even though the original was better . honestly really need to curb my phone addiction and i’ve been looking into dumbphones lately as an alternative for when i’m out and about and like. say what you will about brand consumerism but i am a simple man and the barbie phone is calling to me

#NGL i liked the barbie movie i didn’t think it was anything exceptional but it was good #i probably wouldn’t get a whole phone themed around it but it was like the only dumbphone i could find that came in a cute color #and worked with us networks so. idk why not #i have like hundreds of dollars sitting in my account unused from a summer job but the little gollum in the back of my brain #is like that’s My money. that belongs to Me. and it hurts to spend even when i have no actual plans for it #so ditching my phone to stop feeling like i’m wasting my adolescence is as good a use as any #in a perfect world i would just stop taking my phone to school but i need music to calm my social anxiety on the walk #and i’m not playing games with the american public school system re: having a way to contact people in an emergency #i would feel kinda stupid buying it around now because i already gave my parents my wishlist and i don’t wanna seem ungrateful #but if i do end up buying it maybe i’ll do a review on here at some point. it looks really cute and there’s so many things i want to do #that having my phone as a distraction all the time makes difficult. read more learn to skateboard and crochet keep up with my spanish #start on hebrew and maybe arabic. pick up viola again. hang out with my friends finally get a permit and a part time job study for the sat #stop procrastinating my homework all the time!!!#like hate to say it but my mom was right sometimes it really is That Damn Phone™️#i don’t want to look back when i’m like thirty and go “wow i really threw away my high school years” yanno

Funny how like 90 percent of people wanting the wilds back hate to acknowledge the fact that it's partly their fault. I want the wilds to be renewed as well, however if I DARE say yall aren't ready for it and a small part of me thinks some viewers are undeserving I'm the bad guy. Right because the vast majority of you didn't openly admit to skipping over the boys parts in the show, smh. If you arent watching the whole episode why would they want to renew it? They want views, they want money. Do I want the wilds back? Of course. Do I think the gretchen clones deserve it? No. Be better.
