She wasn't wrong but she also couldn't really agree with it all either, probably out of pure stubbornness but this lady had no idea what she's been through or why she is the way that she is. Having people to worry about is what worries her to begin with. Life isn't without risk, though, she was certainly correct about that one. Choosing which risks to take is hard.

Bailey doesn't say anything but anyone could tell just by looking at her face, she definitely wasn't happy. He kept quiet about my dad when he talked though. I was reading the article then looked up and saw an undercover police car parked on my house drive]

Police Officer: Payton Wilkinson, you are under arrest for the murder of Ashton Kingsley-

[My heart was racing and I was too stunned to speak. I couldn't understand what was happening. Billy tried to take control of the situation, demanding details as he recognised the officers from the other station]

[I wanted to run to my mum, but I was stopped and I froze at the sight. All I could see was her shaking while being handcuffed, crying and denying the accusations. I could hear Billy contacting his chief: he had no power]

[I was so scared: the police were arresting her for murder. I didn't know what to believe and started suspecting my own mother. The times she didn't seem like her usual self, if she was at work while I was at school, how much she despised him, why she has never mentioned his name. I fell to my knees. Always Keep Simming - The twins’ birthday party

Gavin and Gemma’s birthday party was held at the Recreation Center in San Sequoia. The entire family came - aunts, uncles, cousins, Aileen’s mother and father and of course, her brother. Of course, one of the main events- other than the twins blowing out the candles and opening presents, was… you guessed right, dancing! The watcher knew there’d never been a family like this before… it made the watcher’s job so much more enjoyable. 🕺💃🏻

Aileen embraced her little brother Luke tightly. He was about 8 years younger than her and despite the age gap, they had always been very close. In fact, Luke was planning on moving to Willow Creek or Newcrest - much to his parents disapproval but he missed his sister too much.

Evangeline (l) and her brother Raphael (r). Alexander and Delilah’s first and second children. There was just a year between these two and they’d always been inseparable. They were global superstar’s and known for their defeat of The Mother and saving Strangerville - and consequently the entire SimWorld - from an infectious disease destroying their world slowly. On top of that, Raphael was an agent. He and his team made sure that SimWorld would stay free from abominations imported from space spreading diseases and enabling aliens to conquer their world. Colin knew about their story of course and admired their strength and determination, as no one else had dared to face The Mother for years. Aileen and Colin were thinking about not only telling Alexander about their situation with the aliens and the spellcasters, but also Evangeline and Raphael. Aileen knew her mother and father would be furious if she kept this a secret from them. Though they didn’t see each other as often as they’d like, Aileen and her parents were very close, talking and oftentimes face timing every day.

Oh what a surprise it was to the watcher to see Stella Hecking - Aileen’s half sister and declared enemy* attending the twins’ birthday party. She hadn’t appeared to any gathering in more than 10 years. 👀

* For context: Stella slept with Aileen’s boyfriend at the time behind her back (and also in front of her lmao) and she also flirted with the husbands of her aunts 🤢😫 - and that was even though I had specifically set who they can romance with RPO. This had never happened to me before. I was actually going to play with her and Aileen both for this gen - but when this happened despite all of my efforts I kind of took it as a sign lol. Stella definitely has her own kind of backstory and struggles though, so don’t be too hard on her..

Stating the obvious here but this scene should NEVER have been cut from Secrets of Dumbledore, there was absolutely zero need to cut it and I'm going to be forever salty about it.

There's just so much I love about this scene... Newt being Newt, Theseus cradling the baby Qilin and singing to it (my ovaries may or may not have combusted tbh), both of them in waistcoats?!?!, Pickett having a matching bandage on his little twig hand/arm just like Newt, the tiniest scraps of information about the Scamander parents - their mum used to sing to them, their dad had an old drinking song - and just the two of them being brothers... this scene shows why not only Newt but also Theseus are Hufflepuffs, shows their brotherly relationship, shows a caring older brother side of Theseus.

I'm just forever going to be mad about the potential of this series and how it's now unlikely to ever be realised.

NaruSaku is to Klaybarra as Zutara is to MaMie, prove me wrong. First set of pairs is between the male and female protagonists, implied in the story to be the planned endgame as evident with their developments and moments together (albeit some moments were subtle), and having main character B be the first love of main character A. Even so, despite all that, they got shoved aside because most of the viewers deemed the pairing "controversial" and preferred the main character to be with the supporting character who gained popularity . Second set is between the main female character and the 2nd male character, those who were never intended to be endgame, but their chemistry and potential are all over the place in the story. However, despite also gaining a fanbase, rivaling and being even bigger than the expected ship at some points in time, the writers stuck to the originally planned endgame with the main character.

It's funny that these pairs, intended to be endgame or not, all broke my heart and couldn't let me catch a break lmao. Maybe I just have a tendency to root for the one that will not be canon regardless of their original fate and popularity haha

RANGIKU WAS HAVING AN INCREDIBLY HARD TIME HOLDING HERSELF BACK. Just the sound of Aizen Sōsuke's voice was setting her on edge —--- a nails on chalkboard, grating sort of thing it was. His reply to her mention of poisoned tea came across as snide, and thus, forced her eyebrows to knit together as she regarded him. A romantic cliché, he had said... and while he seemed so sure that such methods weren't his style, Rangiku wasn't convinced. For how many times had his words been laced with venom? The confessions shared by her comrades used against them when the moment had been just right... not to mention the way he had poisoned Hinamori Momo; a romantic cliché all on its own, though perhaps not quite as literal as a lethal drop mixed into a cup of hot liquid.

The blonde had been there to pick up the pieces of the gobantai fukutaichō, even as her own heart was left broken in the aftermath of their betrayal. Momo had worn her heart on her sleeve... RANGIKU KNEW EVERYTHING THAT AIZEN HAD SAID TO HER, HAD DONE TO HER —--- was this man even remotely self-aware?

❝ You know what, you're right —--- you'd much rather do the stabbing yourself. Twisting the knife and making sure they hurt in all the worst ways... nothing impolite about that, right? ❞ Rangiku couldn't control the way she spat out such hostility; seeing him again had truly brought out the worst in her. A raging sun, she was —--- her heat blazing and oppressive as it worked to snuff out everything in its path.

There would be no shadows, here. No secrets, or doubts... not anymore. Not if she could help it.

Rangiku took a moment to steady herself. She would never learn the truth if she kept villainizing him... after all, a cornered animal was never quite eager to place it's trust in the one hunting it. With a slow, deep breath, Rangiku prepared herself for the more difficult aspects of this conversation. The topic of Gin had never been an easy one for her to discuss, much less openly to the one who had attempted to kill him. So much of their affair had been private... words left unsaid, unspoken, as they had poured their trust in one another. A trust that was left utterly broken, now, but that was beside the point.

She did not miss the way Aizen flinched at her mere mention of Gin's name. It almost seemed like the man had grown hesitant in response —--- his confidence waning as he stumbled over his words. It was so unlike him, Rangiku thought to herself... and upsetting, at the same time.

Gin had meant something to him, hadn't he? He was more than just a blade at his side, ready to kill for him...

Rangiku suddenly felt sick. Anguish churned in her belly, alongside the scorching heat of her anger, making its way up her throat like bile. She pushed it down as best she could, and worked tirelessly to slacken the balled up fists at her side.

She had avoided these truths for so long. She had known something was off, from the very beginning... and yet she never asked Gin what was wrong, or what he was hiding from her. She was too afraid of what he might say. Even now, as she stood upon the precipice of the answers she sought, she was absolutely terrified of what she might hear. But these answers weren't just for her own sake... they were demanded by Central 46, and the sōtaichō himself.

Rangiku sank to the ground, knowing fully well that she needed to be seated in order to carry on with this conversation. She crisscrossed her legs and grasped her knees as her gaze fell from the crucified man, only to seek out imperfections within the floor. Rangiku listened intently to the words he spoke, and noticed the way pain bled into each one —--- Aizen's tone utterly wrought with grief. Perhaps he had been tormenting himself, all this time... though Rangiku was hard pressed to feel any sympathy towards him.

'Will you believe me?' he had asked. 'You must be willing to accept what you will hear.'

❝ I'm not willing to accept anything but the truth, ❞ she replied quietly, though still unable to meet his gaze. What she hadn't anticipated, however, was Aizen's version of the truth... and how corrupted it seemed to be. His claim that he was not himself when he struck Gin down made her want to burst out laughing. Who else was there to blame for all of this? Did it make him feel better, to blame it on the corrupt power of the Hōgyoku? The one he alone had chosen to merge with? This was a self-inflicted fate; one Aizen could have avoided entirely, had he not been so hungry for power. At least, as far as Rangiku was concerned.

Are there any other Kirby fans on here who are also fans of Star Trek? I’ve met a couple of people on here who like both, but I’m trying to see if there’s anyone else.

I’m a big fan of Star Trek and I actually see a lot of parallels between Kirby and Star Trek (some examples of this are they both have mirror versions of the characters and the plot of Planet Robobot is just the plot of every Borg episode from Star Trek). I also like to include Star Trek references in my Kirby fanart (like making a reference to the Vulcan philosophy IDIC/Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations in my Meta Knight backstory comic) and I was wondering if anyone else in the fandom likes to do stuff like that in their art or writing. Where are all of the Kirby Trekkies at lmao 🖖

It was the day before Winterfest and Reila and Emely were getting ready to head over to Reila's parent's home for the holidays. They weren't just going to be staying until the New Year either. The two had discussed their options, and staying with Reila's parents until they got on their feet seemed like the only choice they had, even if Emely wasn't thrilled about it.

Reila: C'mon Em, it'll be fine. My parents adore you and Naomi thinks of you as another sister. Everything will work out, I promise.

Emely, hesitant: It just feels like we're kids again...running back home when things get tough.

Reila, sighing: It's not like we have many choices. I know, we didn't think things through and just assumed we could stay here and that was a mistake. I know that. But for now this is the best option we have--the only option we have Em.

Emely, soft: You're right. I know deep down you're right. It still feels like we're failing though, Reila. I'm sorry but I can't help but feel like we should've made better plans for our future.

Reila: I don't disagree with that. But I think we're making a mature, adult decision. Instead of getting ourselves trapped in a bad apartment we can't even afford, we've swallowed our pride and made a better, more practical choice. Even if it's not one we initially wanted.

Emely, small smile: You're right. I'm just being silly about this and I know it. Things will work out how they're supposed to. And before the New Year, let's at least sit down together and make some plans for our future, okay?
