NaruSaku is to Klaybarra as Zutara is to MaMie, prove me wrong. First set of pairs is between the male and female protagonists, implied in the story to be the planned endgame as evident with their developments and moments together (albeit some moments were subtle), and having main character B be the first love of main character A. Even so, despite all that, they got shoved aside because most of the viewers deemed the pairing "controversial" and preferred the main character to be with the supporting character who gained popularity . Second set is between the main female character and the 2nd male character, those who were never intended to be endgame, but their chemistry and potential are all over the place in the story. However, despite also gaining a fanbase, rivaling and being even bigger than the expected ship at some points in time, the writers stuck to the originally planned endgame with the main character.

It's funny that these pairs, intended to be endgame or not, all broke my heart and couldn't let me catch a break lmao. Maybe I just have a tendency to root for the one that will not be canon regardless of their original fate and popularity haha

I surely hope at least Tink and Terence would be together lol (but we never saw their ending, so that...)

I am well-aware that these are all not canon which honestly breaks my heart, but I am still very happy with the moments and bond and understanding they all have formed throughout their own show (except for AdriZoe, obviously... I admit that it’s only in my hcs, but the potential they had in my mind is the same reason I love what the other ships canonically have).

I know not all RobRae shippers like the others (I guess some are even Maiko lol), Zutarians probably like the Love Square and Filay while Klaybarra shippers just mind their own thing ig? Still, I heavily respect those people who has different opinions and tastes from mine (all canon couples from each show at least make sense, and I like some of them, in fact). 

However, I want to dedicate this post to all of them (probably could have included NS, but I have my own 11 hr playlist for them lol).

I’m so proud of my ships, because I love them, canonically or just in my hcs for the bond, understanding, and just downright healthy relationship they all have formed, endgame or not (I actually never wanted Klaybarra to be endgame in the novel, it could have been better if it’s in the real world, so don’t @ me by saying I want Ibarra to cheat on Maria Clara lol). There’s a difference between loving a ship and wanting them to be canon, thank you very much. There’s nothing wrong in enjoying the dynamic :)) 

I just love how all of them were broken and kindred souls who found comfort and refuge in another, and friends-to-lovers trope is just superior<333

Anyway, my ramblings are enough, I hope you enjoy this day everyone!!

so I've been browsing some songs for one of my very underrated ships (as if I would finish them; not with reviewing for CETs and my upcoming schoolyear)... However, I then started debating with myself on which of my other ships fit it most because which between Riarkle (GMW), RobRae (rip Teen Titans), KenKao (Ruroni Kenshin, which I'm watching the reboot of now), KlayBarra (Maria Clara at Ibarra), and Tinkerence (Disney Fairies) are for one of those pure and beautiful songs?? What about that underrated ship??

Like, all of these songs are just about their wholesome bonds, and because I have a type, I couldn't choose 😭. Then again, I shouldn't worry since I'm not gonna get anything done anyway; I'll be busy on more important things in a few days lol. I'm even finished on my thumbnails of sure projects, but I never started because of it haha.

THIS. 

One of the main reasons I love “friends-to-lovers” is because you can love them regardless if they become a couple or not. They still have each other’s backs and support each other no matter what-romantic or not. I don’t get the “ruin the friendship too” lol. You can be “more” but you should not ruin the major reason you stuck together in the first place. You can be friends with your significant other, and it’d actually be toxic to me if you don’t treat your lover as a friend lol. That’s why there’s wordings such as “not just a friend” in implications for romance. It’s beyond platonic friendship, but still friendship nonetheless.

i know that im the type of person who almost never ships characters platonically, but for some reason i MUCH prefer ships that are explicitly romantic but also have amazing platonic potential. like i love it when two characters arent super lovey-dovey all the time and treat each other like good friends without being all awkward about it?? its so cute and refreshing to see characters just being,, comfortable with each other without having to make some big romantic declaration yknow? its just great when a romantic ship could also just be an awesome friendship and the only thing that changes is that they dont kiss. i guess that’s why i never liked the whole “i wanna ruin our friendship, we should be lovers instead” cause who said they cant be besties in love like????? i dunno about you but i would want my lover to also be a best friend like that’s what i live for.
