Grammy winner Y/N Y/LN going to court?! From ruined careers to ruined relationships, here's the rundown that led to all this. (1/10/2023 11:54 AM PT)

Since August of last year, fans have been talking nonstop about the leaked track that's been trending all over the internet. With its romantic lyrics and suggestive imagery, the song — Fantasize — made its debut surprising not only the listeners, but the artist as well.

Renowned singer Y/N Y/LN was more shocked than anyone to find that one of her unreleased songs had been spread around online. Even moreso, when the culprit behind the act was none other than rival singer, Artemis Grace.

Which begs the question: Why would Artemis care to leak Y/N'S music?

Well last summer, her ex boyfriend Jason Todd was alleged to have been in an intimate relationship with the grammy winner. Ever since paparazzi caught the two kissing outside of Y/N's Malibu home, they’ve been rumored to have been seeing each other in private.

Supporters of the singer were more than ecstatic to see the two together, and were happy to see that both stars were getting their well deserved happy ending.

Especially Jason, who had spoken up in past interviews about his ex’s abusive behavior. Stating that the redhead was “more than controlling” throughout their relationship.

Unfortunately the so-called Fantasy was short lived, when the gothamite was seen outside of a nightclub with the toxic ex. Once the news broke headlines, while fans were more than devastated, they were just as quick to come to Y/N's defence.

Regardless of the heartache, many speculate that Y/N may have used Cassandra, Jason's sister, as a bit of a rebound! In fact, the tension between the two was more than noticeable in the interview they did together with Glamour.

As usual, fans jumped to the conclusion that their collaboration is what drove Jason to like Y/N's most recent post on instagram (an action that even she was skeptical about).

Back to the present, it seems that the redhead was also caught red handed. After TMZ investigators revealed Artemis as the culprit of the crime, Y/N made the smart decision to press charges.

On account of copyright infringement, as well as causing emotional distress, the offender had been served an official notice of the legal proceedings being taken against her.

However, because she failed to appear before the judge last week, Artemis was forcibly taken in by the authorities just this morning. The embarrassing encounter with law enforcement was seen by many in the area, and spectators did not hesitate to record the interaction and post it online.

Despite all the drama, fans are overjoyed to see the ex finally being held accountable for her behavior. And who knows, maybe the tragic story between star crossed lovers will get its happy ending after all!

Gilbert & Harvey Park and Perry Porter, the Dads. So Perry focusing on work still even in this moment is condemnable honestly, dude is tangled in a coil of Hooty & is like "I need to report on this". I love the detail that Gilbert appears to be carrying Harvey, it matches with him being a construction witch (so probably fit) & also it's a funny reflection to Willow with her looking more like Gilbert & also being the Buff™ friend

Mattholomule & his big bro Steve!! Rip Steve this isn't the first time -- or even second time -- Hooty's taken him out, and it probably won't be the last. I love getting the brothers next to each other, helps show how similar they look. Matty is fairing better than Steve but he seems to be struggling himself. That's fair, boys, Hooty is certainly unpredictable

⤷ If there’s anything that HiMERU knows, it’s how to keep a secret. He’s exceptionally confident in his abilities to keep your relationship on the down-low, regardless of what scandals or rumors may appear; it helps that he’s never been one to be publically affectionate, anyway, save for a friendly (and perfectly professional) pat on the back. With him, you don’t have to worry so much about your relationship being exposed to the public. But despite this, fans absolutely live for theatrical, thought-up (or in this case, all too real) romance/ships, which ends up constantly plaguing you and your lover.

⤷ Of course, HiMERU has numerous excuses and explanations at his disposal if the paparazzi and tabloids get too bad. Surely, there’s nothing wrong with grabbing a bite to eat with a coworker, right? His fingers brushing against your cheek are only to platonically help you wipe a crumb, obviously. Even if you seem… particularly close. Atop of his carefulness, the rest of crazy:b have also agreed to help keep your relationship under wraps; not only would the exposure of your relationship cause problems for you and HiMERU, but them as well. The five of you are intelligent enough, so there’s little to be weary of.

⤷ Admittedly, he’s pretty harsh on everyone during practice, making sure that no one is falling behind on their choreography, vocals, etc — however, his leniency is far more prominent when it comes to you. His words of criticism are softer when directed towards you, and Rinne often teases him for it (aided by Niki and Kohaku every now and then). After all, there’s no hiding the fond, humorous smile that crosses his lips after you stumble over your feet or miss a note. He knows you’re capable, and that you always try your best.

⤷ Lives play a big part in how you bond not only with HiMERU, but also with the other three. Practicing together, performing together, celebrating your wins, and mourning your losses, all of it brings you closer together, as distant as the five of you were in the beginning. Once, lives seemed like tedious obstacles to you, but now, that couldn’t be any more inaccurate. Each time you perform, the five of you silently agree that there’s no one else any of you would want to share a stage with; the five of you are the perfect fit.

⤷ Although dating a member of the same unit may prove difficult at times, HiMERU is always willing to bear whatever comes his way, if it means having you as his lover. It feels as though he can breathe easier with you at his side, even at his lowest, at his most stressed and vulnerable. Truly, could he be any luckier? He certainly doesn’t think so. Even if he has to keep your relationship a secret until the end of time, he’s grateful to have you in his life, to hold and kiss and love. Perhaps to promise himself to you, he’ll give you the most discreet of kisses backstage.

How I feel about him?

He's precious, I loved how silly and awkward he was on book 1. I think he's really handsome despite my type being brunettes rather than blondes, he is strong in a fight but I love his quiet scenes and how much he cares for his court even if this is a duty he never wanted. Tamlin owns my heart and was a comfort for me during a dark time in my past. I love him very very much!

First in line obviously Lucien because these two as friends to lovers would heal me and they're absolutely adorable (sjm don't ruin them) Feyre before book 3. I loved their relationship and held out hope he'd win her back, alas after book 3 even if they go back to being friends I can't see them getting back together. Still love book 1 Feylin and Feylincien tho

Briar, I'm a basic bitch and while he haven't seen Briar again and she's human, I think she's sweet and would love to see them get together as long as it does not end in tragedy or bittersweetly.

Cresseida, Also kinda crack but I could see them starting as a political marriage and the slowly fall for one another and bond over Night screwing them over. They'd be cute

Hybern. I cannot get the appeal of Tamsand because this ship is a 1000 times more compelling to me. A decent into evil by Tamlin when everyone leaves him behind as he's hurt? Bloody revenge? Spring not being destroyed but turned dark and used to destroy Tamlins enemies? Homoerotic tension? That scene where Hybern binded Tamlin with magic? Cmooooooon, I need evil Tamlin or redeemed Hybern fics with them for sustenance they're so interesting to me.

Non romantic OTP for this character

Jurian, they'd be a cool ship but given Jurian's sass and him helping Tamlin as a double agent and being buddies with Lucien too. I'd love to see them hanging out more.

Andras, these two were beasties and I headcanon Andras went out saq Feyre and meticulously planned for her to break the curse because he knew Tamlin would like her.

Unpopular Opinion

He does not need to apologize to the IC. He helped them in the war and brought Rhysand back despite all he'd done to him. Man should be left alone and book 3 actually did before SJM chose to kick him while he's down. If he apologizes let it be to Lucien and Feyre if she loses the bad attitude. Otherwise I want him to heal away from Night.

Hello, I just saw this in the tags and wanted to add my own input. I am an abuse survivor and also a megastar shipper. Megastar is one of my tops, and that’s because they are both abuse victims and I see myself through both of them. When I ship them, I generally ship them as healing past the abuse and trauma they’ve both been through and make them happy, and able to heal and grow together, I always felt that if I was able to see those two heal and be happy, and being victims of abuse (megatron abused thru slavery, starscream abused thru megatron) then I would be able to heal myself. Being able to portray megatron and starscream break the cycle of abuse makes me happy in a way and even tho we don’t get it canonically, I try and portray it with what I write. 

I do agree a lot of depictions of megastar are extremely abusive, esp tfp depictions. I myself don’t really interact with fandom content that makes them out to be abusive. I do admit that there are a lot of people who glorify the abuse in the ship and that was a reason I just, didn’t interact with the fan version of it. At the end of the day, each to their own but I resonate with this answer. 

I agree with everything you said and I think you offered a very kind and nuanced answer. 

That said, at the end of the day I think that most all transformers ships have the ability to be priorship or abusive and it always irks me or at least, saddens me when people just go after megastar shippers. I mean, despite being an abuse survivor myself and going out of my way to portray the ship in a unique way to me, Ive had people tell me to kill myself. I remember there was a megastar story board artist who worked on Earthspark, and people were telling her to kill herself and to get hit by a bus. Ive realized that in the tf fandom it’s like ‘okay’ to harass megastar shippers even this elf us who don’t ship the ship in an abusive way, but other shippers tend to be exempt from this,.

lIKE I also like MegaOP, but MegaOp also has incredibly abusive foundations too. Especially TFP MegaOP, where Megatron quite literally took advantage of Optimus when he had no memories and just in general, some of the things he’s done to Optimus, short of torturing him and even killing and hurting his friends just o hurt him, are abusive and reminds me of things that happened to me. And people tend to romanticize that, and call them like ‘crazy husbands’ or exes or something like that, and I realize that it’s so common to romanticize the abuse in MegaOP, just like proshippers do, but its’ almost never called out the same way megastar is. Hell, some of the people bashing Megastar are the same people who think it’s romantic when Optimus is gettin beat and nearly killed by Megatron, or when Megatron kills and hurts those close to Optimus.

I don’t mean to rant to you, I just noticed how ship hate and suicide baiting is so acceptable to do to megastar shippers. It’s so common, even if we *don’t* ship the ship in an abusive way. And there aren’t that many megastar shippers compared to others. It’s a very isolating experience because I realize this fandom is ‘friendly’ until people have double standards over a ship you like. Like i said, I'm an actual abuse survivor, and in a place where I still have to live with my abuser, so writing megatron and starscream working thru their own traumas and loving one another is kinda healing to me. BUT being told to kill myself over it, sometimes by popular bloggers in the TF fandom, and then seeing them glorify abuse in other ships is not fun.

You are a poet becuse this is the most accurate opinion of transformers ships ive seen in awhile, twitter users a shakering is there boots right know!! And your view of megastar is perfect and the way you described your writings of them sounds amasing and a great and healthy way to potray them, also i very glad that it helps you. : ] And just puting this out there as a abuse survivor to i get you. Id like to touch on megop to since you mentioned it! Iam not going hate anyone fore it because once again to each there own, but i hate the double stander for megstar shipers, when megop is just as bad! People really need to understand that both have the opportunity to be awful horribly portrayed ships, or beautiful heartfelt relationship with great story telling! And one last thing that i would like to add is when you said that ever transformers ship has the opportunity to be proship, and yes i agree strongly with this. the transformers fandom has a very bad problem of fetishizing relationship and just around makeing really bad and gross ships. But something id like to say is some ships will never be heathy, and cant be. There are some ships that are just gross and overall cant be labled as anything other than proship. For instance, somthing that makes me absolutely sick is people who ship overlord and Fortress Maximus, specifically there idw/mtmte portrayals. A little background if some have never read the comics, Fortress Maximus was a warden at this prison basically and overlord came a over ran the place, killing tons of bot and taking many captive. Maximus was one of said bots and overlord wanted some information that only Maximus had and for 3 and a half years torture, abused, and lobotomized him. The amont of trama that Maximus gained from that, form overlord, alone should show how awful of a ship it is to began with. There is no way that it could be written to be heathy for either bot because its shown alot just how much Maximus HATES Overlords guts. But iam a stop there, or iam a write a hole essay. Boston deserves to have his “friends” back (mostly about bostonray tho)

Now… I’m not going to pretend that Boston didn’t do anything wrong to his friends but what I want to talk about his how Boston is a good friend who does love his friends Ray, Mew, and Cheum despite the fact that he is leaving for New York possibly (something I don’t think his friends know about)

In the first episode you get the setup that the four friends are always together. Yes they are in this Hostel project but they get lunch together go out in the evenings. Happy together. We even get some photos in the opening montage that Boston has taken of of them at Cheum’s Noodle shop, at School, and at YOLO. Not including the photo that Boston and Mew have a copy of that Boston keeps next to his bed.

Boston also is the one who drives Ray home most of the time. When the series started out I thought maybe BostonRay was a thing because the two of them were so close. Watch their early scenes Boston is joking with Ray looking after him. Not perfectly because Boston is very self absorbed just like Ray. But I think it comes from Boston taking Ray home and probably giving in to Ray’s plea’s of “don’t leave me.” Boston has told Ray about his bedroom stories and probably Vice Versa. They are two lost boys cut from similar cloths. SandNick is the friendship we get to visibly see but I get the feeling BostonRay is the implied bestie duo. Boston has likely heard Ray lamenting about Mew time and time again. I think Boston was shipping RayMew together because he wanted their 4some friendship to last forever the idea of them being able to support eachother when Boston leaves probably was a comforting thought to Boston in a sick way. I think Boston would have been semi okay with SandRay. Boston does even hype ray up to sand before disaster saying “Do you like him? My buddy has the looks and the dough. His type is hard to come by. You know?” I’ve discussed this before but I think Boston is triggered by Sand not admitting that he likes Ray and Mew’s braggy phone call. Boston was trying to save Ray from heart break by throwing cold water on the situation. He does semi agree with Nick next time Boston takes Nick on a date that what he did to Ray was wrong which is a big step. When Ray tells Boston about him knowing about TopBoston Boston is genuinely hurt by this. He knows he is losing his best friends. Bostons consequences are coming home. We know how screwed he feels from his end credit scene

But Boston does go to Ray as soon as he finds out about Ray’s injury. We don’t know if Boston had tried to contact him before this but we do know Boston is disappointed to see Mew there rebounding with Ray. In spite of the audio coming from Ray and ruining Bostons relationship with Nick. Boston looks to Ray multiple times to see if he’s going to say anything but no. All of Bostons friends are really gone forever now.

(I’ll talk about Mew and Boston later I pinky promise swear) but Mew blackmails Boston into joining the group again and Boston just shuts up and takes it. He accepts his new role of a body for his friends to have about and judge. I really really want the 4 of them to have a relationship again. Yes yes what Boston did with Top is awful but what his friends have done to Boston is also pretty terrible. So I’m hoping they can reconcile because that is what Boston wants despite everything that has happened I think Nick is right. Boston misses his friends.

Boston did accept what they were telling him that he’s a bad guy not wanted but that’s not really what he wants. He desperately wants to be loved. To have his chosen family again and I hope he can get it with a lot of making up for his bad decisions

explanations under cut:

zolu are the main relationship between these two characters. they are primarily in a moirallegiance and only ever vacillate between that and flush when koby is there (more on him later). they've only flipped pitch once during whisky peak (nami auspisticed for them).

zoluko is more of a passive rarepair to me, they're long-distance/on-and-off bfs. both Luffy and Zoro's individual relationships with him are a mix of flush and pale and they end up acting flush around each other too when all three of them are together. Luffy and koby are also kismesis (the dichotomy of being someone's first friend in the entire show and also their parallel/rival).

zo//san is a... complicated ship for me. the tldr would be that I just don't like it but unfortunately they do intrigue me at the same time. people can't tell if they're kismesis or just hate friends and I don't think they know themselves half the time. they are however pitch exclusively with each other. any vacillation between other quadrants (esp flush. they pull of pale in rare circumstances) would destabilise their relationship.

usopp and sanji are flush obviously. slow burn friends to lovers. it's quite beautiful actually. sanji also has a longstanding flush crush on Luffy but idk if it's required or not rip.

usopp and Kaya were pale exclusively for the longest time but over the events of the syrup village arc Kaya developed flush feelings for him too.

this is more reaching into their opla dynamics but. Kaya <> Nami??? the scenes where they comfort and connect with each other?? Kaya always complimenting and just being so happy to be around her??? nami reciprocating after their feelings jam talk in her room??? I love it.

moving onto nami. namivivi is obviously in flushed. I love them so much. srry I don't have much to say on the flush pairings they are just in love and that's beautiful.

nami and tashigi are also a fun pair to me. they're kismesis in a similar way to Luffy and koby, but instead of an 'iron sharpens iron'/'be a good pirate//be a good marine' way it's more a cat-and mouse like dynamic. helped by tashigi's circumstances as smokers underling who has that same kinda dynamic w Luffy. (she also has this dynamic w zoro but In a platonic manner. tho pitch zo//tash is an interesting idea hmm 🤔). the flush vacillation comes from the fact that despite them being on opposing sides. they like each other alot too. Nami finding comfort in tashigi the same way she does her mother, a 'strong but gentle lady marine'. and her in return being the only person to really treat tashigi like a person and with respect on PH.

i'll do it only if it's a language i speak!!! this doesn't apply to peppering words like gege and stuff just for funsies. i think the best way to go about it is to just tell the audience what language they're speaking in that moment

My thoughts on ninjago ships!

Just finished dragons rising and wanted to give my thoughts on the ships cuz that’s what holds my attention the most lol. I have both canon ships and fanon ships that i see a lot.

Nya/Jay

I literally love them with all my heart! They work so well together! All of their little interactions just make my heart happy. Their dancing in prime empire, their fist date in season 1, Jay’s proposal, and every other little thing. They are the the best ninjago ship in my opinion, but they are not perfect. I fucking hate the love triangle in season 3! It is so stupid. It comes out of nowhere! I, in general, hate love triangles but this is the worst. Not only was it entirely unnecessary, but it makes all three characters look bad. It makes Nya look indecisive, jay look hella whiny, and Cole look like a jack ass who only wants Nya so that Jay can’t have her. Back to the positives tho. I think the shows writing is at its best when their ship is a focal point. For a long time, sky bound was my favorite season( I know I know). It often gets a lot of flack for the ending, but that is one of my favorite parts. The idea that after all is said and done, only the two of them get to remember this massive Journey makes it all the more special. It’s about them, for them, and only they get to remember it. Seabound quickly took the top spot as soon as I started it(I honestly don’t know if this is a hot take or not, but Nya’s character arc was just so good!). The finale made me sob so uncontrollably, it was a little scary. Jay not getting a real goodbye was so heartbreaking. Seeing how content Jay was after they saved her despite the fact that he was actively being sent to prison is the kind of love I want!

Zane/Pixal

What can I say other than the fact that they are perfect. I mean they literally share a heart for Christ’s sake! If anything, they are to perfect and can be a bit boring, but that is barely a complaint. I will say that I didn’t like how long Pixal was trapped in Zane’s head, but other than that I love them. That scene in Compatible was so unnecessary but so fucking good!

Kai/Skylor

I really like them together. They don’t have enough screen time together which makes it heard for their relationship to develop. Honestly, Skylor in general is underdeveloped. She should have just joined the main cast after season 4. They have good chemistry, have cute little interactions, and are adorable to watch. I just wish she was around more. I was hoping that something more would happen with them by the end of crystallized but nothing really happened. I hope she comes back for dragons rising and has a good storyline, and hopefully some resolution with Kai.

Lloyd/Harumi

No. Fucking no. I hate Harumi. This ship is so dumb in the context of the show. Let me stop now before this turns into a whole rant ( a Harumi rant is for another day).

Lloyd/Akita

I’m actually very fond of these two. I will admit that they don’t get to spend enough time together, but it is still really cute! I hope they find each other again in dragons rising.

Cole/Vania

While I think Cole is definitely queer coded, still find these two cute. Maybe Cole is bi? I also like the idea that Vania is non-binary. Very cute together and I hope that they are endgame

Misako/Garmadon

What can I say? I’m a sucker for these two. They are cute old people who admittedly have a LOT of issues to work through.

Misako/Wu

No. Just no. I honestly hate wu and the idea of him and Misako being a thing is weird. It is wrong on both parts. Just all around stop.

While there is nothing inherently wrong with shipping these characters, it just gives me the ick. The fact that they all call each other brothers makes it weird. And it’s different with Nya cuz it’s not like Jay calls her his sister. And shipping any of them with Lloyd is icky for the obvious age reasons, I mean they literally knew him as a 10 year old. But while I don’t like any of these ships, Cole/Kai is the least upsetting.

she is my daughter !! i rlly love the love she has to offer to the world !! and most importantly, i love her passion for basketball as well -- i rlly enjoyed how integral she was to the teams she was a manager to due to her data collecting, and how those analytical abilities made her a force to be reckoned with !! in conclusion, that's my girl !!

i don't have too much experience with the fandom -- since i got into knb in mid 2022 and rlly have only interacted with a few ppl on tumblr and my friends -- but from what ive seen, i rlly love the amount of love ive seen !! most people ive seen like her a lot and support her !! even those in other fandoms (looking at my beloved a3! fandom the most) -- when momoi's on polls (ex. @/girlygirltournament, @/girls-in-love-bracket, @/pinkandbluebracket) there's always a lot of support for her !!

EVERYONE last night I finished Le Salut's Salvation end .... thoughts under the cut (spoilers, of course)

From the very beginning I was wondering how Adolphe and Ankou could be connected and why their routes were together but never in a million years did I think they'd be the same damn person lmaoo😭😭 I mean I kinda figured it out along the way but it wasn't what I was expecting going into it

When it comes to who I wanted to date I know they're like the same person but urm. I actually liked Ankou more than Adolphe😭😭😭 TO BE FAIR I've never had much interest in Adolphe as a love interest like I have never in my life ever been interested in the big brother archetype although I see the appeal

So you can guess that I was probably really disappointed throughout the route and especially at the end😭 like...Ceres kept on getting moments with Adolphe and I was thinking to myself the entire time "We'll get romantic moments with Ankou too right?" WE GOT IT WHEN HE WAS DYING😭😭😭😭😭😭

I reached the ending and he died and then Adolphe and Ceres got together and everyone was happy and I was like "What....? What????" I went back and replayed the ending twice because I was so flabbergasted I was like "where is the part where I get to marry ankou I've been trucking through all these routes just to get to him and you're telling me I don't get to marry ankou???????😭😭😭😭😭"

So that was kind of a disappointment but aside from the romance, AS A ROUTE I liked Le Salut the most (I haven't played any of the other salvation ends yet tho) I felt like it tied everything in and speedran through everyone's issues somehow but I liked the whole group's banter lol

Also Jean and Mathis being kinda like an actual family at the end is crazy like I still can't forgive Jean but also admittedly I do think it's nice that he and Mathis are able to get to know each other for the people that they are😔 it was cute even if I still do have beef with Jean

Also YVES I thought it was so funny how Ankou and Adolphe were all so highkey shipping Yves and Ceres and Yves was just like "You guys are being weird😭😭" free my boy Yves.... but aside from that I really do think it's interesting how Adolphe and Ankou's route are just them basically fighting fate and thematically it does make sense that Yves is Ceres's fate.

Like Ceres and Yves met when they were little when he saved her life and they had a lot of chemistry just in the common route. Yves is the poster boy for this series so all the signs are pointing at him as the Main boy. And tbh it's interesting because Yves is there to help in every route despite whoever Ceres chooses and we never rly know what he's thinking until his own route because it's like. We'll she's "destined" to be with you in all ways but she didn't choose you

It's also why in that small segment in Le Salut's salvation end, I was shocked that there was any mention of Yves's feelings for Ceres and how he felt attracted to her but he would never tell Adolphe like😭😭 Yves rly is her "fate" ..... and in general I guess if I had to pick a ship I would also pick Yves over Adolphe I'm sorry 😭😭 not that I don't like Adolphe I just happen to like Yves (and Ankou...despite the technicalities) more

If I had to rate the romance I still think that Scien is my favorite though solely because I like his dynamic with Ceres. After that would be Yves and then Le Salut (Le Salut would be higher if they LET ME DATE ANKOU but they didn't so .) After that would be Lucas and then Mathis (*I don't dislike any of the routes Mathis just happened to be last...just because)

In terms of plot though Le Salut would be first, followed by Yves and then Scien and everything else is the same. I don't have much else to say regarding that but despite the issues, I did enjoy Le Salut the most

But also omg Dahut that was crazy....I rly liked dahut so I was hoping that he wasn't like the big bad but😭😭😭 you know what they did a good job. I had a feeling dahut was going to be the bad guy and I desperately hoped otherwise but it still happened it really tapped into the despair aspect lol but despite everything I still really liked dahut I think he's written rly well (sometimes when he was talking I had to be like.....well he's making some points but 😭😭....)

I know I said that was the last thing but since we're talking abt Hugo I though he was a rly good character like he's not my favorite. At all. But as a character he's written so well he truly does care for Yves 🥺🥺 he's not "fated" to be with Yves in the sense that he can't be the main character, and be doesn't have the main character's inability to just. Not give a fuck abt anything like he gets scared of Yves's scar and hes not "perfect", it's hard for him to accept certain aspects of Yves but he's aware of them and at the end of the day he still chooses to continue caring for Yves. I truly do think he loves Yves and honestly in every other route besides Yves's route I wish him luck you have this lesbian on your side gayboy go get em👍

Last I would like to talk abt Ceres because that girl is an angel fr like I kinda wished she was meaner because if I was her I'd have snapped ages ago💀 but I get why she is the way she is and because she's so nice everyone likes her😔 she's like...my baby if anyone hurts her I will destroy them like I get why Adolphe is Ceres Defender No 1.

My attachment to Ceres also made me kind of have beef with Hugo for a while because who does this jealous girlfriend bitch think he is but whatever they made up and Ceres stood up for herself so I liked their dynamic in the end (DID NOT like how Hugo keeled over and died like immediately afterwards though :///)

Sorry if you have been asked this before, but what do you think of the whole 3zun romance thing some of the fandom likes? Be it the poly or the lxc was with one but then cheated/broke up for the other thing?

Like i know in canon that’s not a thing, yeah lxc was close to jgy but that was a brotherhood like friendship, same with nmj. But in fanon it also kinda gives me the ick, whenever i read a fic and they just casually put some flavor of romance 3zun in it, ends up turning me off to the whole thing. For some reason lxcxjgy or the poly version is what makes me most uncomfortable, I don’t mind lxcxnmj that much to be honest. I guess it might have something to do with just jgy’s character, idk.

I don't think about it because I detest it in any kind of romantic implication for Lan Xichen.

It simply isn't and was not ever the most important thing within his life. We get explicitly shown where his concerns were at, which was when Lan Wangji took a stand to protect Wei Wuxian. Who, in Lan Xichen's eyes took advantage of Lan Wangji emotionally. It's without actual character context to say either man personally was his romantic dedication. They weren't as he has no romantic interest in anyone, and is vastly more concerned about his brother's ventures and what he sees as a failed one.

He also isn't completely broken up as fandom likes to portray about Nie Mingjue having died. He is more horrified in the way he was pierced together as a fierce corpse and it's underlying suspicions concerning Jin Guangyao's fake facade. He had hoped that Jin Guangyao had reasons to keep his trust for so many years despite his own misgivings, due to the multitude of unfair condemnations Jun Guangyao was faced with that were untrue. None of these men were as close as fandom portrays, friends also don't mean they know every private thought of the other, or really truly knew each other. Being on good terms does not make a romance.

It also is a disregard for the genuine once true feelings Jin Guangyao did have for Qin Su. However twisted it turned into, he did try to make her happy and wanted her to be happy despite how easy he was able to use it against her. He has a failed love that he kept hold of as a caricature of what could have been.

Anything else, is reader made up preference and reading an intention that was not there to begin with. I know I have had years and generations of friendship with my own friends and it's not at all a thing that would pop up in my mind that our dedication has to be influenced by romance only. It's mean and cruel to propose these bonds have to be important because of romance only.

Have fun as much as the next person, but do not use the argument of "Death of The Author" for personally preferred interpretation that has no contextual merit or authorial intent. Makes me have no interest in the exploration of it when it's proclaimed as being secretly meant to be.

You are allowed to have your fanon much as I am allowed to disregard it as being a viable point of the story we are given.

When I started shipping it if I did:

honestly i’d say like. pretty much right away when i went through sr1? i thought they just made a perfect pair. dex complemented anteros so well imo, and eventually it snowballed into becoming a cornerstone of my canon. their dynamic is crucial to the foundation of my sr canon. kinda interesting how it started out w “i really love dex and i think he works well w my boss character and how he develops into srtt” to “my canon as we know it would literally not exist without the relationship between dex and anteros”

My thoughts:

where do i even start. what can i say that i haven’t said about them before. two halves. the sun and the moon. would find each other in any universe. trapped in an endless cycle. i love you i hate you no one can kill you but me no one will ever understand me but you. devoted until the end.

What makes me happy about them:

i love thinking about them in sr1. it’s so important to me that they goof off together; anteros showing dex all his fave clubs and going out drinking and anteros trying to get dex to dance w him but dex getting too self-conscious but they’re still laughing anyway and then coming to the church the next morning hungover but trying to not make it obvious. both showing more vulnerable sides of themselves to each other. just that whirlwind romance of sr1. then 10 years later having them start over and having this become a slowburning desire for each other. a yearning to return to what once was and eventually trying to create some semblance of a normal relationship. those little moments. the knowledge that despite it all they never stopped loving each other.

What makes me sad about them:

honestly what makes me happy abt them also makes me sad. the death of anteros at the end of sr1. dex feeling as if he’s lost everything at that point, w julius leaving and anteros dead. his anger at troy for lying, for not putting anteros out of his misery. and just the entirety of sr2 and srtt. similarly once they DO “start over” post-sriv, it’s overlayed w a sense of tragedy bc what does it mean to have a “normal” relationship when you’re them? does it mean hiding it all over again? when will it be their turn. for better or for worse things will never be like they once were. we can’t go back to stilwater 2006.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me:

never really ventured into dex/boss fic i’ll be real. ig in general i just don’t like when dex gets characterized as this irredeemable villain bc that’s just not him at all. i see so many old things that just give him no nuance or just forget he exists…..heartbreaking

Things I look for in fanfic:

again never really looked at dex/boss fic so not super applicable. the things i would look for are. um. do they kiss.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: 

anteros has either of his other partners which i’m happy with. i suppose kinzteros in a more canon sense and troyteros for more AU stuff. or at least that’s how it seems to usually end up. dex i think would be fine alone. unlike anteros who will explode if he doesn’t have a partner, dex is fine being single and on his own. he’s an independent person. tho if voli somehow came out tomorrow and said dex ended up w a nice husband i’d be happy w that too.

My happily ever after for them:

wouldn’t that be nice……ig just them making it work as best they can. unless anteros retires—which is something that wouldn’t happen for a very long time—i can’t imagine a real like. marriage and house and kids and all that. just not really in the cards for them. honestly that is one of the things i wanna explore post-sriv: what does the future of this relationship look like? both are committed to it, both still madly in love, but is this how it’s always gonna be? anteros missed the point for a normal life a long time ago.

Who is the big spoon/little spoon:

anteros is the big spoon. it’s like a inch height difference and anteros is using that. traps him w his arms and legs. clingy.

What is their favorite non-sexual activity:

talking and getting into arguments, and i mean that sincerely and not in a bad way. as in, getting into discussions about topics bc they’re both insanely academic. especially as they get older, talking about more mundane things like, as you and i have talked about before, arguing over shit like what colors to paint their bedroom walls and getting ultra specific about it. they love it. anteros’ favorite thing in the world is to disagree w dex. dex would be lying if he said he hated having their discussions too. sometimes anteros just plays an overexaggerated devil’s advocate just to get a smirk outta him. it’s fun. they genuinely love it.

also music! listening and singing along. both share a lot of favorite artists and even tho anteros’ taste can get a lil. eccentric. when it comes down to it, there’s nothing better than driving through stilwater at night together, blasting the radio and singing along. also i think dex just has a really nice singing voice so anteros is more than happy to let him take the lead. one of thew few things in this world that’ll make anteros happily be quiet.
