Imagine he fight they had after he hero licenses exam. And the conversation to follow

good good shit the rest of the class is like"wow these guys Hate each other" and then at some mundane time after deku v kacchan 37 or something it gets revealed just extremely casually and they all lose their minds

I also like to think that not even aizawa is fully aware until home visits and almost passes out seeing all five of the bakudoriyas piled onto a single couch

#I think a Jackson pollock exhibition with ms paint drawings by children who simply filled in the background and went ham by the spray paint #without prompting from the teacher or with no exposure to pollock would go so hard personally.#anyway ‘I can make that’ is a very valid response to abstract art and it should be encouraged rather than scorned because #it leads to sincere engagement rather than disdain for the thing you know?#and ‘why is this in a museum but I’m not’ is also a reasonable question worth exploring.

more than anything in this world I love wandering through museums and taking pictures of things to research later. like oh, interesting concept, what if I spent an hour reading about that when I am in my pajamas in bed and it can really blow my mind.

okay but another thing I like about my favorite movie is the masterful melding of practical effects and CGI

it was made in 2014! they could have CGI'd way more! but instead they BUILT THIS ENTIRE JACOBEAN MANSION INTERIOR ON A SOUNDSTAGE?!

(that shot is from a deleted scene where Thomas was supposed to see one of the ghosts. no, it's never clear which one, at least in the version that got filmed and edited)

the utilities all worked. every single piece of furniture, drapery, wallpaper, artwork...that was all real and physically present in the space

the ghosts were real people in costumes, augmented with CGI afterwards for transparency and such:

(Doug Jones or Javier Botet- I forget which one -in costume as the ghost of Margaret McDermott. who died of massive head trauma, hence the greenscreen skull section)

(Tom Hiddleston in his ghost makeup/costume)

I just. hnnnnng. I love it so much in so many ways, and the fact that so much wasn't CGI- or wasn't JUST CGI at least -makes it feel so much more real, IMO
