I know you might disagree and most tae fans might even label me an anti for “not being proud” or something (happens on twitter for some reason.

But I can’t be the only person who genuinely doesn’t feel good seeing tae in military uniform?

Like people are already going on about how great he looks and how hard he’s been working etc, and it’s all true, but we’ve all heard what happens in the military, and how difficult it is, and I just feel like everyone tends to ignore that in order to marvel on how idols look or how hard they’ve been working etc….but it’s like…the military is not a picnic??

Like promotional videos? It’s propaganda and there’s no way to tell whether any idol wants to do them or doesn’t want to, and I’m already seeing ppl go “omg SDT is milking Kim Taehyung because hardly any celebs join the unit haha 😁”

And it’s like…that’s not something to laugh about? “Oh his impact will be insane” dude….this is FORCED enlistment we’re talking about. I’m from a country with mandatory enlistment. It’s genuinely a very difficult think that changes all our men and a lot of times in negative ways.

Also there’s nothing good about being used for a country’s propaganda, especially when you probably can’t say no (and this goes for any country).

Idk how to word this but this weird romanticization of the military as a result of seeing them, but especially tae, look good or healthy or strong, etc… just feels wrong.

And at risk of sounding like one of those weirdos who treats him like a 5 year old, I wanna make it clear that I’m fully aware he is more than capable, and that he’s a grown man who chose to challenge himself and I have nothing but respect for that, and I completely disagree with babying him or his choices, my issue isn’t with him or his choices but with the government and the way IT uses it’s soldiers, but especially celebs.

I wanna start by saying that we all are different people so we are all proud of him for different reasons or just mean “being proud of him” in a different way, me personally I’m proud of him for having goals and for achieving them, for trying to focus on the few good aspects of that awful experience and turn it into something positive for HIMSELF. I don’t think you’re an anti, and I don’t completely disagree with you either. I feel weird seeing him with a gun in his hands too, I feel weird knowing what will be the sick reactions and projections of the fandom. I also know that his unit has made those promotional videos since forever and they’re not doing it rn because KTH joined them.

I know (like you do) that saying no in those contexts is nearly impossible, NJ did it with that whole speech too, idols that perform at those military events did it too… it’s a nuanced discourse. It’s not just black or white. I’m proud of him or I’m not proud of him.

Everything by Memphis is A+ and I love it so if you haven’t you should check out more stuff by them ( No Ordinary Love is super nice, That’s Just Life is very dear to me and so is Divinity, Speechless is… my otp song for every otp ever tbh) -  Bring Me The Horizon is my fav post-hardcore band and both MMF and Chiodos are that genre so if you don’t know them give them a try! (Blasphemy, Run and Doomed are between my faves out of the latest album, and since you liked Under Your Halo you’re probably gonna like Follow You too) the album right before is amazing too if you’re okay with less melodic stuff, but the further back you go with BMtH the harder to listen to they get, just a heads up - Sleeping With Sirens are on the softer side of post-hardcore lately, Fly, Left Alone, Trouble, Fire and Empire To Ashes are some great ones, between the many, and, uhhhh, at this point I might have recced Nothing More a hundred times but let’s make it a hundred and one, try Funny Little Creatures, Do You Really Want It and Go To War out of the newest album! If you’re into punk and female voices you should check out Tonight Alive too, Jenna has one of my two fav female voices in rock right now (Crack My Heart and Temple are the latest two songs out!) and since I always rec stuff but I never rec anything by my favorite band ever, you ever heard of Alter Bridge? They’re more towards hard-rock/alternative metal, but check out Blackbird, Fortress, I Know It Hurts, Cradle To The Grave and Broken Wings just to make it one for every album I really, really adore this band and everything they ever made

It’s not a stupid question, don’t worry!! But I generally like to leave myself in Horikoshi’s hands for this sort of stuff, since I both enjoy the costumes as they are AND don’t want to be disappointed in case what I hope for doesn’t actually happen - that said, I’ve mentioned before that I’d really like Aoyama to get redirectors for his laser on his palms and for Kaminari to get a close combat weapon, since with the quirk he has anything metal would actually work wonders for him! He mentioned a sword, but I rest my case that tonfas would be cool, I really want him to use tonfas. A “costume” I don’t understand is Hagakure’s, by the way - would be nice if she got an actual costume and also I don’t really get why she’d wear gloves at all?? Mirio’s costume was made using his hair, I really want her to get something similar! That’s about it tho, I haven’t really thought much about anyone else in that sense~

I don't know who to tell this to and you seem really kind: I'm the pickiest eater I've ever met or heard of. It's just NO most food is disgusting it just makes me wanna barf. Hi! I'm really sorry to bother you rn, but I just really, REALLY miss my dog who passed away several years ago. She was like my sister... I related to her more than people & I could always rely on her for comfort. All I want to do is just hug her again, but I know I can't do that. I just can't move on. I love her so much. I'm sorry, but I need to tell this to someone, ANYONE, because it's really been keeping me down lately...(dog death anon cont.) I've been seeing a therapist since she's died, and I've been on several medicines which DO help, but only to a certain degree. I realize there's a certain part that I, myself, need to control (ie moving on). but like I said, it's hard. I haven't told anyone this, because I'm afraid of looking stupid for letting my dog's death get to me this much that it's required hospitalizations and such. I just want to see her again. (end)

unfortunately, though, i’m not really.. in the hamilton fandom, anymore? and a lot of that is because of just like, the community itself, is really.. a lot, for me. that whole thing about that person reblogging one of my john posts and calling me a bunch of awful things because i perceived him as bi stuck with me for a really long time and was super offputting in me making content for a while. and i tried to come back, but then it just felt like i was making every post really cautious and vague so i didn’t upset anyone again. and like, yo, that’s not a way to live u get what i mean

and it sucks, because… like, a lot of people really seemed to enjoy it, and i really did too before that whole situation arose!!! angelica was (and still is!!!) one of my fav characters, and playing and depicting her and john’s relationship was a lot of fun, and getting to make shitty doodles in photoshop and interact with all of y’all was something i really really enjoyed pfdjsfndsf. at the time i was running the blog i was in sort of a tough spot with school and my home life and, like. as dumb and cliche as it sounds, doing it really helped me through a lot. having a means to distract myself but still make other people laugh/cry/be entertained meant a whole lot to me, and it gave me something to do when everything kind of sucked |’’’’D 

i really don’t plan to go back to it. mostly because i’ve been gone for so long at this point, it’d feel massively inappropriate to just hop back on and try to continue. also, like - i’m not sure if you follow my art on here, but i’ve improved SOOO much, i’d probably cry looking back on old answers and stuff haha,,, but unless more problems arise with it existing (i.e., more people calling me homophobic and reblogging answers with really nasty comments on it) i don’t plan on removing the blog or any of it’s content, so it’ll still be there for ppl to look at!! ;u; (i’m not gonna promise that though - if i have a bout of anxiety and end up impulse removing it, i apologize in advance fasjfnkasdknjaf)

I have been really sick lately and have such a hard time concentrating on anything for more than one second but I have not been able to look away from this story, not even when I re-read it for the third time. You are an amazing writer and I have fallen in love with every charachter you have introduced. I teared up so many times and my heart began beating fast, it was really an experience.

Also, I often see people saying that hoseok’s only good at street dance/popping and isn’t a versatile dancer (often when they compare him to jimin) but im just???? Yeah it’s true that hoseok hasn’t shown as wide a range of styles as jimin has but that doesn’t mean he’s not a versatile dancer??? 2/ ~F

Sometimes (esp during group dances), he doesn’t show his full potential; however, you can’t say that it’s his limit because he’s not /trying/ to outshine the others. Similar to that, if he isn’t showing you the whole range of dances he can perform, how can you say he’s bad? (I feel like this analogy is confusing. Feel free to ignore rip) Also, were these people sleeping during the spring day choreo or… ???? 3/ ~F

ANON you will not believe the noise i just made when i saw these messages in my inbox !!!!! i’d love to answer your questions fpasdlgh. just a heads up that this is gonna be long; i’m sorry, i talk a lot and don’t know when to shut up & also like listening to my own (metaphorical) voice too much sometimes

1. hoseok’s been dancing since freshman (?) year of high school and started out with street (x) while this is a considered a short time for professional dancers, i’m only exposed to classical art forms, so i’m unsure how that factors into this style (´～｀ヾ) and yes, that means this is the base of his technique !

2. i would classify BME as 100% hip hop/street. although they can be seen as widely different genres, it’s a popular style that’s taken off these past few years in the dance community. it’s got street elements in it, but it’s more controlled, more polished. (also: yeah idk what “lie” is………..urban lyrical pseudo contemporary with modern influences?????????? lmao at this point hip hop has grown so much i’d just call it that)

3. fam i’m in the same boat as you! hoseok is a very versatile dancer :o he can adapt to many different styles, given that they’re not asking him to start doing fouettes or something.

his main style

a subgenre of street called “bounce” although they are both “street”, each subgenre is really different from each other & it’s not easy to pick one up. here, you can see the difference between hoseok and jimin during practice. hoseok goes deeper, lower, lighter, smoother, etc. his arms come up to near his chin when he lunges to the front & there’s no part of the combo where he’s simply arrived @ a position and then stays there; he’s always moving, always milking every step, always engaged 

butterfly here, his musically is really strong bc he utilizes every part of his body in order to fill up the counts. you can really see the movement going thru every single muscle: the way his chest caves in, the shoulders, the hands, his head, the fluidity of his arms. as a dancer, you want every single action to be deliberate. you need control of even your fingers in order to constantly extend energy outwards, and hoseok takes that into account

perfect man (aka my life) is killer bc of the required speed/stamina; there is no break in this piece. if you get off you can’t get back in lmao and you can clearly see some members struggling with to stay on time with the footwork

spring day i 100% agree with what you’re saying about this piece !!!! there is so much going on here, and after watching all the individual fancams i wanna say that both he and jimin are the ones who shine the most consistently thru the entire dance.the slide to the ground? hoseok jumps the highest, gets the most airtime. the roll up from the floor? he really pushes himself and utilizes his back flexibility & holds his core in order to make sure that his head is the last thing that comes up. i was pleasantly surprised to see him tackle this choreography, esp the move i just mentioned, just to see how he’d do. he really pushed himself with this piece, and i’m glad he got the chance to grow as a dancer; probably with help from jimin, as this is more his department.the only qualm i have with him is during the wedge part where their left legs are going in & out, he needs to start pulling his left side over more …… he’s no longer square by like? the second step out n his ribs are reallllly swinging open fpfahdgt it’s kinda bothering me lol CLOSE UR RIBCAGE HOSEOK !!!!! i know u can do it

despite all of these pieces being different styles, you can tell that hoseok constantly strives to take the extra step above & beyond. he’s always looking for places where he can add Something More to the piece, even when it’s not given explicitly in the choreography. he gives it his All in hype dances, and that’s what made him stand out to me from the rest.

4. yes yes yes yes yes,,,, thank you for pointing that out! some people shit on hoseok’s dance king title because he doesn’t seem to stick out during groupwork and i’m here to tell you that 1) that’s utter bullshit lmao go ahead and watch all the solo fancams i assure you that he is Up There (debatable for certain dances, but he holds top 1 for fire & bst, no question) and 2) he might not go full out bc he’s dancing in a group.

what some fans forget is that he is part of a group, and the whole point when you’re part of a group is that you “take one for the team” and don’t treat it like a solo; you’re not supposed to stick out. even dance line 2.0 (namjin) don’t draw negative attention bc they bust their asses in order to keep up with the rest of the group !!!!!! BECAUSE YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO STICK OUT !!!!!

the whole point is that ur a cohesive unit doing one thing !!!!!!!!!!! you’re supposed to look the same !!!!!!! like…………if you’re really on balance during a performance, you’re not going to do six pirouettes. you finish the double like the rest of the corps, and you book it to your next step. groups thrive in unity, and if you can’t even give that up in order to get your limelight, then i’m sorry: you don’t deserve a solo.

this is why professionals always start out in the corps to prove that they can work well with others, handle the roles given to them, dance as a collective, and then use their work ethic/diligence to stand out during classes & rehearsals to show the artistic director that they’re ready to be promoted to a higher ranking. you demonstrate that you can handle a group environment before anything else 

hoseok doesn’t outshine the others because that’s not his job, and that is not what he is there to do. he is purposefully coexisting with the group in order to make the dance look & feel cleaner

5. kinda going off the fourth point: i agree, once again. he still showcases that he’s pushing himself, but not to the point where he purposely outshines the others. the discipline that comes with purposeful restraint is often overlooked, and i would never slander a dancer for doing so. if i know how far someone’s able to go, i can also appreciate how far they reign themselves in.

ofc, there’s the rare moment when hoseok Really lets loose like the iconic extended choreo for fire during MAMA 16 and you can see how much farther/harder/faster/stronger/full out he’s going compared to the rest of the group. there was a comment that remarked how he made the rest of bts look like his backup dancers, and i can’t agree more. lol i ain’t even biased, just watch from 4:43 onward.

when he jumps, he jumps higher than the others. when he turns his knees in, his feet are spread farther apart than the rest of the members, even though the choreo is fast and the wider your stance is, the slower you’re able to move. he makes every step clear. it’s precise, it’s sharp. his arms move quick, but they hit every position. there is no perceived rush that comes with not knowing what’s coming next or being late

the usage of his head, the ability to go move so fast but still remain fluid (rolling through his chest, loose shoulders, placed arms), jumping farther, traveling more, generally taking up more space than the others w his limbs, making things look incredibly energetic, are all key factors that put him up on another level. yes, someone can move their head, but hoseok moves it further, yes, someone can kick their leg out, but hoseok kicks his further (even so that it’s no longer within his center of balance, and i genuinely fear for him)

not to mention!!! 9 minutes into killer choreography and he is still slaying the facials. his charisma is off the charts, and it’s clear that he’s having so much fun???? he engages the audience with his expressions & isn’t afraid to use it to work the crowd, which is something i’m missing from others bc (as with all dancers) they sometimes get caught up too much with technique instead of performance. also his stage-to-audience connection is Insane. it’s so hard to do it right w/o looking like you’re staring someone down or alienating them, so basically

the ability to keep up/go beyond with fast choreo while also making it engaging thru stage presence is incredibly difficult and is another factor that puts hoseok above the rest of bts in dance

The difficulty with this question is that the list doesn’t end, and sort of can’t so long as we cling to an idea of ‘purebred’ being better. Purebreds are predictable, sure, but not inherently superior.

There are inbreeding problems not just in domestic pets, but other domestic species too. Fresian and Angus cattle are heading that way too

If they lose too many teeth from the front of their lower jaw then the bone can recede and atrophy, but if you leave too many infected teeth in there for too long then you can get oteomyelitis, and that will ‘disintegrate’ the jaw and leave it prone to spontaneous fractures.

This highlights the difficulty in giving advice over the internet. I have no way of knowing what’s normal for that animal and whether a description is accurate. I always tell people if they’re worried enough to seek advice they’re worried enough to contact a vet.

There might be an abdominal scar in the ventral abdomen, or possibly in the flank depending on how she was speyed. Unfortunately without a tattoo, nick or microchip it’s very hard to tell. Ultrasound might detect the uterus and ovaries if they’re there, but just because you can’t find them doesn’t mean you didn’t miss them. Cats don’t really go through menopause like we do, they can still get pregnant at an advanced age.

Front dew claws do not tend to ‘get caught on the carpet’ they usually don’t touch the ground.

Hind dewclaws are more of an issue if they’re attached only by skin and no bone. They flop all over the place and are prone to injury, the dog doesn’t use them, and owners often forget to keep them trimmed to prevent ingrown, painful nails. Desexing is a convenient time to remove them, with pain relief.

I’m not familiar with that specific brand, but outdoor cat enclosures are great enrichment. Yes they can still get parasites, but their odds of injury, theft and poisoning are still greatly reduced.

Not all diabetic cats need constant food, though it helps prevent hypoglycaemia, especially if they like to graze. If your cat’s glucose is currently well controlled, don’t mess with it.

You could consider a microchip feeder for your cats.

I would tell them that their pet is going to be just as cute at a healthy weight and is going to have less issues with arthritis, pancreatitis and brachycephalic airway syndrome (if relevant) at a leaner weight. I also remind people that being a big heavier than perfect can be fine, but if they’re deliberately feeding their pet to batter and fatter for their own amusement then that’s not fair.

It might be normal. Lots of breeds have coat colours that change in the first few years of life. If it’s not associated with any skin pathology then it’s probably no big deal.

The external laboratories are private companies that are not part of the veterinary practice. They may be associated with human medical labs, or vet only. Some of their employees are vets, but I’m sure not all of them are.

FAVORITE FIC would have to be a draw between the oihaba fic using the prompt: "Something about you makes me want to commit extreme violence," and the yahaba fic using the prompt: "just come back alive...okay?" because those were the first fics i'd read from you (the yahaba one went first and the oihaba fic followed) and after reading the oihaba fic i just fell in love with your writing and i knew i was gonna fucking follow you. FAV HEADCANON is-

{the "(1/2)" was a mistake! it's supposed to be (1/?)} (2/?) -that suga is an angelic little devil 'cos naughty suga is somthing i'm never going to get tired of reading and because it just surprisingly fits his personality so damn well. FAVORITE LINE would be: "A nod, and that overwhelmingly gorgeous grin directed at him again. “Exactly.”" from the bokuroo fill inspired by "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" and "A Whole New World" 'cos i felt so many emotions right then and there and that fic was-

AU is a close second. it was kinda hard to find a FAVORITE CANON fic 'cos all of your fics seem to be set in a time where they're older (post-canon if you will)-             

(6/?) but that i interpreted as closest to canon was the TsukkiHina fic using the prompt: "Stop looking at me you smug heathen, you were right once." where it rained, made me feel a little something for the rarepair, and i like it :) FAVORITE CHARACTERIZATION would be "By the time that Lev and the rest of the team has cleaned up and gotten into stretching, Kuroo has finally finished his captain’s duties with the coaches, and he does his best to drape himself over Morisuke to look at the-

(8/?) and 2) because i do feel like kenma does stretch half-heartedly too (seriously kenma bb stretch properly i sprained my own ankle yesterday cos my fuckass didn't stretch right :/) the entire fic was just fucking golden and fun and lighthearted banter and by the end of it i was cackling a noise akin to the sound of a herbivore being dragged to its water death by a crocodile (that's a compliment, by the way, i guess.) FAVORITE JOKE would be actual angelic suga striking again with: 

(9/?) “You look a little stuck, babe.” Suga barely manages to quell the snickering to speak. “Cat got your tongue?” because yes actual angelic devil suga would say something as snide as that with a fucking cheshire-worthy grin can u tell i love angelic devil suga a lot anyway moving on. FAVORITE ONE-SHOT would be the kuroyaku "I will face God and walk backwards to hell" because i needed that herbivore-being-dragged-to-its-watery-death-by-a-crocodile laugh man. FAVORITE SAD BIT would be the fic 

(10/?) about falling in love with their best friend’s partner au + AsaDaiTana because the burn of unrequited love was so fucking welcome because i like slow burning pain so much that was an exquisite kind of pain man 🥂 cheers 11/10 would hurt again. i don't really have a favorite series and i'm not really one to reread fics no matter how impacting they were because to me fics are a one time thing and reading them again loses its "love at first sight" kind of touch that i crave fanfics for tbh
