Everytime I think about Sir Rex's situation I lose it. Just try putting yourself in his shoes.

You're about to get revenge from the vile monsters responsible for your friend and family suffering. Putting your life on the line, you attempted to murder the Vice Tower master after years of spying and infiltrating the knight order but failed miserably.

As you're caught in a dead end, this stranger who isn't even from your continent, a representative of a foreign allied country who received a medal of honor from the crown prince of your empire -you had one conversation with- recognize you in your cat form-that you kept hidden-, saved and healed you.

He easily guesses your whole plan and acknowledge your franckly terribly sad and traumatizing backstory. He somehow is aware of the alchemy tower wrongdoings and much more and is going to help you. He has spies and allies working for him in the country he supposedly only visited twice.

When you're finally healed he looks you dead in the eye and says you're gonna be emperor... after exposing his plans of overthrowing the power in place, destroying the alchemy tower, making the sun churches saint and saintess-supposed dead by the way-forge a new church. He gives you books on how to be a ruler and manage an empire.

And all you have to do while THINGS are happening is read books in that room and make an appearance at the very end.

Why is he doing all this? He says he want a partnership for his kingdom which will also benefit you in the future.

And while you're still tripping and reviewing your life's purpose you meet his two cats- actually children from the same tribe as you -which you weren't really aware of- who explains to you what being a fog cat is and the litteral basics of living while calling you a fucking weakling and their lil bro/servant.

SO MUCH. i’ll do a proper post tomorrow when my brain is remotely coherent again, but for now the headlines: he is (as always) absolutely fucking incredible live; i had not one but TWO super awkward run ins with him before the gig even started; i will never recover from hearing shavambacu; there was a VERY interesting moment when he was introducing “see ya when i see ya”; and, in the least creepy way possible, i may or may not now know what it’s like to be spat on by miles kane mid performance 🫠

I am once again thinking about how the problems in PnZ where the active aggression in Zaun has been framed in a worse light than the "passive" neglect from Piltover's Council. And now that Caitlyn's entered her villain era, I bet they're going to bring out a Silco flashback to show the audience he's still "worse" but Caitlyn's on his dark path.

It would be fine if they did that to show the audience how easily idealistic individuals with the right set of personality traits adopt millitancy, but I just know it's how they're going to keep the show "balanced". So they'll bring out young Silco to demonstrate how much of a menace he was from the jump, and how Caitlyn is making bad choices like him, but her emotions are being manipulated by Ambessa or something like that. Don't think too hard about the structural power imbalance.

Some friends and I have been running a goofy little Discord RPG based on mafia/among us/town of salem mechanics where the setting is a high school and there's a lice outbreak so they gotta shave kids and they get embarrassed about it (instead of killing them) and the kicker? Prom is next week.

sometimes i think some people in this fandom believe they own the characters they like, and this turns fandom experience into such a toxic and unhealthy one. caring and worrying about a character is very different than disliking anything it's done to them because it doesn't please you and your idea of their personality and who they should associate with.

this begs the question as well, how much is this about Agatha and how much this is actually about just petty hatred/dislike towards Wanda and canon discourse towards Rio? because, in the dawn of Agatha All Along's release, she's been the least one talked of in comparison to her witch mates in some corners of this fandom.

[author's note: it's just so funny to see some clearly biased complaints about recent events in the mcu and the comics, such as Agatha's deaging in the recent runs of the comics. it's obvious that she's been deaged, and it's very ill-intentioned to bissfully ignore the exact time period that her character was first de-aged and redesigned: after Wandavision and Kathryn's Agatha. i thought this was obvious, but since it evidently isn't, Kathryn's Agatha isn't Hagatha. it makes much more sense to match a character that has always been secondary and related to others, without well-defined appearance, and with the ability to age herself down, to its more popular mcu counterpart. also, why complain about a character that hasn't even been released yet, that we don't know a single official thing about, not being inserted in the comics? when said character is rumoured to be a genderbent version of an already existing character i.e Emerald Warlock? so now everything is bad because a single character that never even existed until a few months ago isn't inserted in everything that pertains Agatha's storyline and Agatha's only? are you even listening to yourselves? how come Agatha allegedly being ever-tied to Wanda is such an awful issue, but suddenly her being tied to Rio isn't? are the double standards in the room with us right now? these are just a few issues and complaints i have, and i feel it's high time they were voiced]
