#I’m not even huge on kailor but I this thought just came into my head as I thought ab Sky#cuz I was thinking ab how it would be awesome if we got Skylor to come back at least for a cameo#but then I thought ab how sucky it would be if the show tried to keep on trying to push Kai and sky to be together#because it would feel so forced atp#the show just writes them so bad it just feels like everytime they bring Skylor back to the show#which is like- whenever there’s BIG emergencies#the writers remember that ‘hey! I'm not an Angel hater by any means however I do think Spike should get to be as big of a dick to him as he wants to be and people shouldn't get to say shit about it.
#dylan says things#btvs#this is maybe entirely a me thing but often when im reading fanfic it acts like spike and angel fighting (specifically about buffy)#is equally shitty from both of them#but like tbh spike has way more reason to hate angel than angel has to hate spike#and it's always framed as just a 'spike shouldnt get jealous' thing which is generally fair#but also Spike spent 100 years loving a woman who loved angel more than she loved him#and then SO much of his relationship with buffy is tangled up with how she feels about Angel#Spike is CONSTANTLY being compared to Angel and he pretty much always gets the short end of that stick#like shit man I would also be really insecure about that#and i wouldnt have a problem when fics call him on being jealous over buffy and angel#but they never seem to actually address the baggage that is making him act that way#and even in fics where it's like 'they're so good at communication now' they never have spike express that there may actually be#some shit between him and angel that is valid for him to feel#not even getting into spikes relationship to angel outside of Buffy which is its own can of worms#anyways. this is just a wildly specific pet peeve of mine#it's 4am and i was reading a fanfic and for some reason this pissed me off more than usual

I hate getting into something that has a canon(ish) sapphic couple, but I only end up caring about one of the two women 😭😭😭

INSANE for gideon. harrow is like cool I guess (I feel like I should like her more than I do idk)#and now dungeon meshi. I knoowwwww I'm going to love falin. 10 episodes in and I already find her relatable and awesome and so cool and sexy#AND SHE BECOMES A DRAGON LIKE FUCK MAN (she's still dead atm but soon soooooon)#marcille on the other hand?? Once again debating about the side mega man blog but regardless if I do make it or not, when I have the time I might make a whole long in depth post talking about the male ZX protags cause man while I have no idea how the tumblr fandom is I’m remembering some dumb takes with them so I think they deserve a proper breakdown to show “no they have character you fucking dumbasses”
#meg text#not gonna tag the fandom this time for my sanity tho#tbh I have too many bad takes that while probably aren’t universally agreed upon seeing them more then once concerned me#more specifically when it comes to this series it seems like people skipped it entirely or just mashed through dialogue#cause I cannot begin to understand why people think it has a “bland cast”#my brothers in Christ P&P are right fucking there as interesting characters#and prairie too!#but aside from the villains minus the ones I mentioned Vent and Grey have it the worst#it’s both a mix of “people don’t care for the story but like women so find them superiority”#or “people actually pay attention to the story but only for the females and clearly ignored the male routes”#I seriously don’t know which one between the two pisses me off more#the fact just because vents route is less emotional people ignore the fact he has a character arc#or the fact Greys story makes WAY more sense narratively then Ashe but people don’t care about him bc he isn’t funny#when greys story is built upon being confused and having subtle info dumps handed to him#and this isn’t to diss aile and Ashe bc I love them and overall think Aile/Grey the better narrative route#but it’s annoying to see this shit when both routes to their core are the SAME STORY just in different povs#(oh and when people say the girls should’ve been pair up together… you REALLY didn’t play greys route to understand why he’s paired w aile)

god. remembering when the Moon Knight series came out and i went on ao3 and 90% of the fanfics had "Khonshu grants them separate bodies" because i guess writing people living in the same body is too difficult or too far out of the fandomized tropes ao3 writers live in.

Technically, the show made it canon with Wyatt scaring off Piper’s dates, but the cousins and Paige definitely can do the glowing eyes thing. Definitely a thing that (at least some of them) can eventually do on command, because hi, an upper-level Warren witch turning glowing eyes on you is a nat 20 for intimidation, but it also happens involuntarily when they’re using a lot of magic or their emotions get intense while using magic. Why? Because the show canonically made that a possibility and having a witch with glowing eyes is cool as fuck man!!
