omg i just watched parent trap and i loved it sm. think abt stefan and y/n having twin girls and y/n leaving bc of the elena thing and stefan has one twin and y/n has annie lol. and then the twins meet at a camp or smth and then realise the truth and then push their parents back together. OMG THE ANGST

i havent watched parent trap, but i think ik what the gist is sooo

lets note that this’ll take place when the girls are still infants, not toddlers :)

so yes y/n is packing to leave for their her and their twins, annie and laurie (great name choice, ik), and stefan��s like

“if you not gonna listen to my explanation, than can you at least listen on this? it’s abt the girls”

and y/n’s like “😐 fine. what.”

and stefan says “i think that i should take laurie”

and youre like “🤯 WTF NO”

“just think abt it!” stefan exclaims “you’re going to be too busy to raise two twin girls. plus, it’s the least you could do since youre not going to reason with me!”

y/n looks at laurie’s picture on her bedside table, her heart aching and tears welling up in her eyes. she sighs and nods “yeah, fine. take laurie.”

stefan sees the expression on her face and reaches out. “you dont have to go, you know? why dont you just let me—”

“enough!” you exclaim. and you zip up your suitcase angrily, taking it with you as you stomp out of the room. you put it by annie’s suitcase and go over to the nursery room where annie and laurie are currently

you go over to laurie first, taking her in your arms. you hug her for a while, tears running down your face as the thought of leaving her for years hurt. but you just couldnt face stefan now

this is so dramatic bye

so you set laurie down, kissing her head and looking into her forrest green eyes, something both girls got from their father. she then set laurie down, going over to annie and picking her up. y/n gave laurie one last look, mouthing ‘i love you’ before walking out

fast forward to when they are 13 👹👹👹 (horrible age for children omg)

so y/n and annie come back for the summer to stay w auntie care and ty. stefan is dropping laurie off to camp just an hour earlier than annie. they both get placed in the same cabin. annie has taken y/n’s maiden name while laurie is laurie salvatore. they both dont even notice each other until one of the camp counselors points it out. laurie and annie are confused, amazed, excited, and a little scared.

“YOU HAVE MY FACE!?” annie exclaimed

“A-AND YOU HAVE MY VOICE!?” laurie pointed to her throat

and annie’s like “what the hell!?”

and laurie’s like “YOU CANT SAY THAT”

(you can see how diff y/n and stefan’s parenting style is lol)

so the camp counselor talks to the host of the camp (or whatever theyre called) and laurie and annie become bffs immediately. they spend like 2 weeks at the camp and they finally realise after hearing the counselors talk n stuff

then it comes time to pick up the kids. y/n and stefan dont even notice each other until the two girls walk out hand-in-hand. y/n is the first one to notice. and once she lays eyes on laurie, she just immediately knows

her eyes start to water and her breath is caught in her throat. she goes up to the girls gingerly, bending down

“mommy!” annie exclaims

y/n smiles, “hey baby. w-who is your friend?”

“laurie! i think shes my twin!”

y/n is surprised that she knows, but annie is a smart kid lol so

“yeah, youre right. u-um, wow. what are the chances?”

laurie smiles, “are you my mom?”

y/n nods with tears in her eyes “yeah, i am. it’s nice to see you. wow, i-i... i’ve missed you so much. you dont even know”

“yeah, me too. i didnt know i had a mom. its only been me and dad”

and then y/n like “oh wait. where is your father?”

and then stefan, behind her, says “y-y/n?”

and y/n turns around, gasping. she gets up, hand over her mouth in shock. her heart flutters as she looks into those green eyes of his

“stefan?”

“thats me,” stefan smiles

y/n smiles and laughs, going in to hug him, but then memories surface and she pulls away immediately. her eyes harden and she grabs annie’s hand

“cmon annie. care, lila, and ty are waiting.”

she starts to pull annie away but annie and laurie started to shout

“NO STOP! MOM DAD PLEASE!”

and annie is pulling y/n back and shes like “annie stop. behave.”

annie looks up at her, tears shining in her eyes “please mom. wait.”

y/n sighs and is like “fine. what is it?”

annie smiles and goes back to laurie

“we think you two should get back together!” laurie proposes

stefan and y/n look at each other like 😧 and ofc y/n is skeptical and starts to make excuses. but then stefan takes her hands in his and her heart stops. her breath is taken away and she looks at him, feeling herself begins to fall

“please y/n. if not for us, for the kids. i promise, you wont regret it”

and y/n like “.....” and stares at the kids, then back at stefan

“i love you, y/n. i promise ill explain everything. just give this a chance before running out again”

after a few moments of thinking, y/n finally gives in. “alright,” she smiles. “um... you girls hungry?”

the two kids nod and y/n says “lets go and catch up yeah?”

the two girls are excited and start making their way to the cars while y/n turns to stefan and says

“i love you, too. i never stopped”

and stefan smiles and says “glad to have you back.”

Sorry for the delay on this ask. I’ll fill whichever prompts I end up going with likely on FF.net, particularly the Vicki/Bonnie ones because I got some femslash stories going up soon anyway as we talked about. I have some alternative suggestions to both of these and some answers to both these suggestions so bare with me.

This one I feel like fits Bonnie/Vicki well with Vicki being viewed as trash by the town at large and I could see Bonnie championing her, particularly because she’s also close to Matt as well. I also feel like this would be an interesting way for Bonnie to see her friends as they truly are. Also in the same vein here are a couple of others that could work for them. 

03.  my ex is an asshole and I really don’t want them to think I’m still in love  

This would make sense with the season one Vicki/Tyler dynamic whether canon or au

25.  there’s a rumour going around that I made up the fact that we slept together and I’m ‘pathetic’ so you show up to kiss me in front of everyone (bonus if they didn’t actually sleep together)

This would just be interesting because I could see this idea that Bonnie was too good for Vicki among her friends and it being an issue if she ever claimed they hooked up. Like a “Bonnie would never” sort of thing

28.  you’re upfront that your friends dared you to date me because I’m the Ice Queen/Forever Bachelor and I’m always up for proving people wrong  

I could see this one as a response to Bonnie coming out maybe and Bonnie doing it just as a fuck you to everyone on her and Vicki’s behalf. 

38.  you did a really big grand gesture only to get rejected on the spot and it goes viral, so I offer to pretend to date you (starting with my own grand gesture) so people will think you got a happy ending instead of pitying you ‘

When I thought about this one I thought about season 1 Vicki showing up at the Lockwood event all dressed up hoping to impress Tyler’s parents and finally go public with their relationship but being shot down so hard and I could see this being something Bonnie would do in response.

I am open to any of these. 43 works well and would be a one-shot likely but I could see the others potentially being multi-chapters.

Okay so moving on..

09.  in order to get that promotion, I have to show the Big Bosses that I’m a family person too but I don’t have a family so can I pretend to be part of yours?

This would be hilarious but it may be my anti-Damon bias but I can’t see Damon at like a desk job where a promotion would be on the table for this guy. Like I don’t take him seriously and his characterization doesn’t fit as someone who would give  shit about a job enough or care enough what his boss would think for this to be a thing.  But I love the idea of family oriented Damon and I DO think if he would be searching for approval it would be for his family, I would want to explore his dynamic with his parents and Stefan being the more stable brother even though he is younger and Damon the disappointment works in both canon and AU and a family dynamic could still be played with just not involving kids or work or whatever so I am suggesting these ones as alternatives:

04.  I’m tired of my friends/family setting me up on horrible blind dates so I made up a relationship and now they want to meet this mystery person

I could see this being like Stefan is settled down and they want to see Damon settled and they have an image to uphold and Damon’s like a perpetual bachelor and so they try to fix him up with all this “suitable match” types and he gets annoyed. Enter Bonnie

07.  I answer an ad so we’re each other’s partners to our family gatherings 

This kind of fits with too because I could see both Damon and Bonnie being irritated at having to go stag to  family stuff and especially if everyone around them is partnered up and it could be an exploration of both the Salvatore and Bennett family dynamics

11.  I’m your assistant and you just informed me that your entire family thinks we’re dating and you don’t want to let them down 

This one would once again require Damon at a desk job LMAO which....I still can’t see but I am a sucker for boss/employee relationships and I could see a kind of Two Weeks Notices or a Proposal type scenario happening because Bonnie would be that assistant has to deal with this man child but knows him inside and out and they bicker like an old married couple and so everyone just assumes something is there and Damon would just roll with it because why the hell not and people would be impressed that Bonnie would even give someone like him the time of day and maybe if she takes him seriously enough to date him he’s not entirely incompetent. HA!

13.  I’m really competitive and drunk and I just told a rival that my relationship is way better than theirs, but they don’t believe you exist (but I’m too stubborn to admit they’re right) 

This I could just see because its something Damon would get drunk and do and the rival would obviously be Stefan lol

This I think would be hilarious, especially if it was a Stelena wedding.

Their friends down at the station were near ecstatic when they announced they were dating-- they’d gotten super sick of them tiptoeing around each other lol! Also, Stefan won the bet they had going and he was very proud of it. 

As for their families, I imagine Cole’s parents loved Lola from the get go! They think she’s a good match for their son and were more than happy to welcome her into their family as their daughter-in-law. The Grants on the other hand? George liked him from the moment he shook his hand, but Carla took longer to warm up to him-- and it was amazing she even warmed up to him at all. He holds the record for being the only man besides Arnie to gain her approval.

27. Do they have kids? Grow old together? Split up?

Aside from Cole’s girls from his marriage with Marie, they end up with three of their own-- Maddie, Gwen, and [boy yes im changing my mind about his name again LMFAO]. They live long enough to meet their great-grandchildren 😔

28. What are their vacations like?

Short. They don’t like being away from home for too long-- especially if they’ve left their kids with a sitter. It’s one half “we really miss them” and one half “if we don’t go home right now, there’s a chance Maddie will burn the house down she’ll do it” 

At the least, their honeymoon was a little more lengthy and spent mostly in a hotel room.

29. How do they handle disasters or emergencies? Minor injuries? Sickness?

They’re both equally talented at handling emergencies and such, but... if Lola’s the sick one, it’s hard getting her to stay in bed. She’s determined to keep working no matter what and Cole is not having it because Dolores, you literally fainted the last time you were sick, lay back down.

30. Could they manage a long distance relationship?

They could, but there would have to be tons of long phone calls, letters, and visits to see each other. As it is, if either of them leaves for even a week, the other’s a wreck.

Oh, they are 100% that couple-- they know what the other is thinking almost all of the time and Lola can always tell when he’s hiding something from her. She even accidentally ruined his proposal! As for picking up on phrases and habits... let’s just say that the first time Cole drops a y’all at the station, nobody lets him live it down.

its not sunday, but its the end of my weekend..

it has honestly been one of the best weekends ive had in a long timeee.

like i know its a good weekend when the amount of downtime i have.

but friday, i didnt go to the gym cause i thought arvin was planning on coming to rva around then

but i just ended up going to igis and chilling there for a bit

after a while, just went home and chilled for a bit before we went to stefans for the pregame.

it was a little different drinking in a place where we dont usually drink at but it was fun.

emilio was in town for stefans birthday and it was actually really nice catching up with him.

he’s one of the few handful of people that i could legit have a conversation for hours about anything

i miss that dude.

we eneded up unintentionally splitting up from stefan to meet up with arvin at cha chas.

i was already kinda drunk but i came out and saw bon, i got so fucking hype.

i havnt seen bon in a minute, and we have some wild ass crazy drinking stories from the first year at vcu lol

and we just continued to make memories that night,

just continues to get fucked up and just do random shit

ended up having everyone back at our place. 

i honestly never remember how we end up having everyone at our place afterwards, but its chill lol.

the next day, woke up kinda hung over.

had to get over that shit so i could drive home.

the drive took fucking 2.5 hours. 

went straight to lees to get some bahn mi.

went home and crushed some sandwiches then passed out.

woke up to my dog laying on top of me and my mom yelling at him to get off lol.

my mom gets so pissed when i get the dog on the couch, but its w/e.

eventually got picked up by arvin and we were off

got to the hotel,

chilled for a bit 

then started drinking.

i was worried i wasnt gonna be drunk enough for the show, but boy was i fucking wrong lololol.

the show was pretty dope, from what i remember lol

went back to the hotel after, and then we were out tryna get foood.

we wanted kbbq, but honey pig was “closed”

we went to bale and got more bahn mi lol

paolo met up with us and then drove me back

i didnt get home til like 5. 

my dad was already up getting ready for work lol

i then knocked out 

layed in bed til like 2. 

picked up steph and went to chasing tails.

its so dope having friends that can get hook ups at food places. makes the food taste so much better lol

then went to abus lol

its crazy that abus used to not be the move for a bit, but i still went but now everyone goes again like it was 3-4 years ago 

brandon actually ended up coming to abus too by coincidence. 

i dont even know when the last time i saw him,

then went home and chilled 

today, helped my dad install a dish washer.

surprisingly not that hard. i could probably do it on my own if i needed too.

took my parents out to lunch.

we went to the spot that had seafood and shit.

like its weird being in nova and being in a place where everyone is majority white.

after drove to get jed, then back to rva

grabbed some groceries

got some food with igi then back home.

“Damon, stop! Give it back!” You exclaimed and ran around the living room. Damon had your book in his hand, running around the house using his vamp speed.

“Not until you admit I’m the better brother!” He shouted.

You huffed and stop running. You looked over to Stefan. He was watching TV, totally ignoring everything.

“Never,” you smirked. Damon sighed and rolled his eyes. He went to drop the book but you quickly changed your mind.

“Fine! You, Damon Salvatore, are the better brother. Stefan sucks!”

Damon zoomed and caught the book. “Music to my ears,” he smiled.

You stuck your tongue out playfully and went to sit by Stefan to resume your reading.

“I’m the better brother, right?” Stefan whispered. I smiled and nodded. You two did your handshake and he put his arm around you.

You had been living with the Salvatores for almost three years now. You had almost gotten killed by Klaus Mikaelson and they saved you. Now, you were adopted into the family as Y/n Salvatore.

Your parents had died when you were young. You lived with your aunt for a while, but she died five years ago, leaving you all by yourself. You never knew anything about vampires until Damon had healed you with his blood. Ever since then, you were known as Stefan and Damon’s little sister.

He had brown hair that was combed back and dark blue eyes. The smile on his face showed his perfectly white teeth. You couldn’t help but stare. He was so cute. Suddenly, his eyes flickered to you. Your eyes widended and you turned around. You sunk into the couch as you had gotten caught staring.

“Who is that? I’ve never seen her before,” the stranger said. You heard him walk closer to you.

“Hey, back off. She’s off limits,” Damon said. He stood over you protectively.

“Relax. I’m not gonna hurt her. I’ve changed. Luke made that happened, remember?” the stranger said.

“I said back off,” Damon growled.

You nervously turned your head to meet the stranger. His blue eyes stared at you intensely.

“You’re pretty,” he smiled. You smiled. “T-Thank you.”

“Be quiet, Kai,” Damon said.

Your eyes widened. This was Kai? The dreaded Kai Parker that had killed most of his family and was planning to kill his twin sister? He didn’t fit the description you’ve heard Bonnie and Damon say.

“Sorry, dude. But really, who is she? Is she your girlfriend, Stefan?” Kai turned to Stefan.

“No. She’s our little sister,” Stefan replied.

Kai gasped and turned to me again. “Little sister? You don’t really look like them.”

“They adopted me three years ago,” you spoke up.

Kai’s eyebrows raised in surpise. “Interesting. What’s your name? I’m Kai Parker.”

He walked closer and stuck out his hand.

“I’m Y/n Salvatore,” you said and got up to shake his hand. Damon swatted Kai’s hand away before you could touch him.

“Ow!” Kai exclaimed.

“Stop with the small talk. What do you want?” Damon asked.

“Well, I was wondering if you have the ascendent,” Kai said.

“Why do you want it?” Stefan asked. He crossed his arms over his chest.

“I need it. Where is it?” Kai asked.

“Tell us the reason first,” Stefan argued.

Kai rolled his eyes. “I just need it. Please.”

“Stefan, can you go get it?” Damon said.

Stefan sighed and nodded.

“What about him being dangerous like you’ve said?” You asked Damon.

“Well, he might threaten to kill you if he doesn’t get it. None of us would want to lose you,” Damon explained.

You nodded, “I’m going to get a sandwhich.”

“Oh! Can I have one?” Kai asked and started to follow you.

“Uh, no! Sit,” Damon said.

You furrowed your brows. “Damon, I’m an adult and can protect myself. He can come with me.”

“Y/n, no,” Damon said.

“Please. I’ll just be in the next room. I’ll scream if I need help,” you pleaded.

“I promise to stay five feet away,” Kai said.

“Fine,” Damon said and glared at Kai.

You smiled and went into the kitchen with Kai. You got out bread, cheese, and turkey.

“So, are you a vampire?” Kai asked.

“No. I’m a human,” you said.

“Really? They haven’t turned you?”

“Nope. Damon did heal me with his blood when we met, though. They’ve suggested turning me a lot, but I want to stay human,” you explained.

Kai nodded. “How old are you then?”

“20. You?”

“22.”

“Cool,” you said and handed him the bread.

“Mhm. So, why do you live with Damon and Stefan if you’re not biologically their sister?”

“Like I said, I’m adopted. My parents died when I was six from what I now know was a vampire attack. My aunt took me in, but she died five years ago. Damon found me right when I was about to get drained of blood. He healed me and I ended up staying here for a week. After I learned everything about everyone and everything, and they learned I had nowhere to go, Stefan decided to let me live here. I had changed my last name offically two years ago when they suggested I live here forever,” you explained.

“They’re honestly the best brothers ever. I was an only child, so all the protection and stuff was weird, but I love them anyway.”

“Wow. You’re lucky,” Kai said.

“I am,” you smiled widely.

Kai smiled back and sat down. You sat down next to him and ate your food. Kai decided to break the silence.

“Are you dating anyone?”

You looked at him with wide eyes. You shook your head and swallowed your food nervously.

“Why do you ask?”

“Well, I did mean it when I said that you’re pretty. Want to go to lunch with me sometime?”

“Me?” You asked.

“Well, who else am I talking about?” Kai joked.

“Sorry I just never have had a boyfriend before,” you said.

“Well, if you go on a date with me, you might get your first one,” he winked.

Your stomach did flips. “Sure. We can go out,” you said without thinking about what your brother’s would say.

“Great! Can I have your number?” He asked and pulled out his phone.

You nodded and put your number in his phone. He smiled widely. He looked genuinely happy about this, which was a surprise since you never thought anyone would like you.

You smiled back. He was a lot different than the other’s portrayed him. But it was a good different.
