Hey y’all — just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for helping me get to New Orleans. Your support got me here safely, helped me get temporary housing, and made sure I could show up for my first day at my new job at the museum. I truly couldn’t have done it without you.

I officially started this week, but my first paycheck doesn’t arrive until the 15th. Until then, I’m stretching what I have left to cover food, cat care, and transportation to work. Update: Thanks to some generous folks I was able to put a deposit down on a 6 Month Furnished Rental and get a Greyhound ticket! So things are coming together! I still need some help with storage cost for my belongings while I search for permanent housing and other basic essentials during my transition. Please keep sharing and donating if you are able!
