I was doing a lot of psychological analyzes of Jeffrey Dahmer and posting them here, but then I started attracting a lot of strange people, so I stopped...

But since a lot of people are asking for this, here we go 🙄

In Carl Jung's psychodynamic theory, spirals or mandalas are expressive artistic forms that can emerge during a psychotic episode when the patient's mind is trying to organize itself.

Here are many examples of art made by psychotic patients in a psychiatric hospital, they are from the book Images of the Unconscious by Nise da Silveira

(it doesn't mean that everybody who does drawings like this are psychotic, obviously it has artistic styles and things like that, but these paintings were made by patients in hospitals. Nise was a brazilian doctor, and Jung was from Switzerland, they notice that without any contact, their patients were drawing the same spirals figures. You can also see that these drawings are somewhat organized because the patients were receiving treatment. You can see from the geometric shapes that there is a meaning, it is the mind trying to organize itself).

Not only did Dylan draw a lot of spirals, but you can also see that his drawings are extremely disorganized and don't make any sense at all.

Furthermore, his writing is extremely confusing, it took me weeks to understand what he was talking about, (while I read Eric's diary in just one day and found it extremely boring)

Here is an example, you can see that love (heart), the road, this fifth dimension, the donward spiral is all mixed up, extremly disorganized.

It's very different from Eric's drawings, which despite the violent themes, you understand what's happening

Dylan's writing often does not follow a chronological order, nor does he talk about real events of his life, he constantly refers to himself as if he were an entity that lives in another dimension (the number 5 in the drawings represents this fifth dimension), in other words, he was unable to establish a connection with reality. Unlike Eric who proclaimed himself a god to irritate people, as a form of rebellion, Dylan really believed in this, in his mind, he literally lived in another dimension. And these spiritual themes regarding the ego itself ("I am an entity") are indicative of psychosis as well.

One interesting thing is that you can see that even the form of Dylan's writing is confusing. I'm not just talking about his bad handwriting, but he always wrote in the corner in a disorganized way, loose words without meaning. When he started his diary you can see that he was fine, but as time passed, his writing became more and more strange, he began to draw more and more these spiritual symbols, and his drawings became a great confusion.

I believe that his diary is a perfect example of a mind that deteriorated over time, but obviously this is just a supposition based on his diary. I also suppose that he wrote in moments of crisis, when he felt bad, sad, and needed to get these things out.

I know that a lot of people must interpret his diary in an artistic way, especially through his poems (and it still is!), but this is also an indication of a mind that was losing touch with reality

When he proclaimed himself the god of sadness, when he said that he had no friends, that he had no love, that no one would ever love him when he did have many friends who liked him, a functioning family that loved and accepted him, and still a promising future, since he was smart and was planning to go to college, all this god of sadness thing could be indicative of delusion too, he couldn't see how loved he actually was.

(there are cases of psychotic depression, it's very rare, but it does exist).

I know he was diagnosed with schizoaffective personality, which I agree with because often people with this diagnosis are also psychotic. But it really depends on how serious the case is, I have a friend who has this diagnosis and is also psychotic, but he has a good connection with reality and will graduate in psychology too.

Therefore, absolutely nothing about Dylan's supposed illness justifies what he did at Columbine. Eric himself was perfectly normal and also decided to do what he did.

When I was reading Bleach for the second time, I was surprised by how many characters in the Soul Society weren't actually souls from the living world, but were, like, born there and how this has been going on long enough to essentially form an aristocracy.

To answer how I'm handling the "who is born in soul society and who just re-incarnates there?"

If you're a soul that died in particularly charged circumstances, Died particularly young, needed to be escorted by a Shinigami, had to be de-hollowfied or otherwise have wildly unfinished business from your previous life, you're more likely to be reincarnated with at least some of your previous identity. 50/50 chance you'll remember ANYTHING about your previous life though.

If you're a soul that lived a long or particularly fulfilling life, managed to get to the afterlife yourself, were a baby that dies before you were a year old and didn't have a fully developed memory, or are generally chill about the whole "being dead" thing, you're more likely to be reincarnated as a baby birthed in the afterlife, with no recollection of your previous life.

WHO is reborn, who is reincarnated, who goes to soul society and who goes to Hell is not actually Known by Soul Society- the sorting of the Dead is actually the provenance of the Demons of Hell, who have a running metric on every soul in the living and spirit worlds so the second you're dead they've got you sorted.

The Shinigami HAVE been able to make educated guesses about at least some of the metric by keeping extensive notes on the souls they help move on- Who linger and why, who turns into a hollow and why, who goes to Hell and Why etc. but the exact metrics and mechanisms used to assign people's place in the afterlife is a mystery- which is why Soul Society doesn't runite people in the afterlife and has such trouble keeping track of people in the Rukongai- they literally have no input or knowledge of who goes where, when or why.

As for Zabimaru: They (plural- the monkey and the snake) are doing well, though they were more than a little alarmed when Renji was suddenly transferred to the 11th division* after his time in the 5th and found out that, unlike literally every other person** they've met, Zaraki can just passively see and interact with Zanpaktou Spirits***.

*There is extensive chicanery afoot regarding Renji's career in the Gotei-13 **Note: a broader category than just "Human" ***He can't really harm them in spirit form, but he can talk with and generally annoy the shit out of them. This is Extremely Weird, but he's an Extremly Weird case.

I’ve been thinking about Keigo getting to know the rest of the Todoroki family as Touya’s boyfriend.

How nervous he would be to not be good enough, to not be let into what he knew was a tight knit family, especially the siblings, and for Keigo, who had no real family himself, it all seemed extra intimidating.

Keigo was prepared for almost anything, but it turned out he was not prepared for what actually was awating him.

Now, Keigo already knew Endeavor, or Enji (he finds it so weird to use his first name like that like wtf,) from work, but seeing him in this weird domestic role is jarring, to say the least.

Big, strong Endeavor in a cardigan, reading glasses and slippers? Weird as hell.

Rei is just as sweet as Keigo imagined her, and it makes his heart ache to see how much Touya looks like his mother in person, and even more so to see the open love in Touya’s face when he looks at his mother.

Keigo had expected Fuyumi to be as sweet and timid as she looked, but she honestly took him a bit by surprise. She’s quick and witty, not unlike her older brother, and clearly has no issue with putting Touya on the spot. She’s also very funny, and Keigo is deligthed to have someone to bounce off so easily.

Natsuo might look like a big, confident jock type, but he isn’t. He’s sweet, very sweet, and extremly passionate about the medical field, which is quite telling about his character in Keigo’s eyes. He also had a quiet and clever sense of humor, and kept making sure Keigo was always a part of the conversation, and it truly moved Keigo when he realized.

Now, Shouto was another one Keigo knew a little from work.

He actually thought the two of them got along well, but something seemed a little off with the youngest Todoroki all night. He talked like normal and wasn’t rude at all, but he kept sending Keigo some weird looks, and it was making him more uneasy than he liked to admit.

It didn’t help that Touya kept throwing looks back at Shouto, making it look like yhe two of them were having a telepatic conversation.

After dinner Shouto straight up asked Keigo if he could talk to him in private, and judging by Natsuo’s eyeroll and Fuyumi’s laughther, they knew what was coming.

When they were alone, Keigo suddenly struggled to meet Shouto’s mismatched eyes, which was ridiculous, but true.

I have been planning the character dynamics for a couple months now, and I would like to say, I am excited to explore specifically between the two RK brothers. Since Nines was supposed to exist to replace Connor, I feel like Nines would most certainly not have the same identity issues his older brother does.

They actively manipulated this man into thinking he was free. Not only that, but they claimed their top dog was no longer special and that he is disposable. It's like the gifted kid's demise all over again, haha. Connor has so many emotions to work through.

Because of this psychological abuse, my post-revolution Connor feels very much and very very deeply and is very expressive around most people unlike his younger brother--mind you-- who was supposed to replace him for his "incompetence." Whether it be sadness, anger, or happiness, Connor tries to be as open as possible. Despite Connor loving Nines to death, Nines had a certain privilege over him; he was an end-all, be-all. Connor hides behind his smiles to protect Nines from his deep-seated fears and to not shine blame on him. Nines has his issues too (character analysis soon), and Connor knows this. This is one rift between them that is currently unexplored or may never be explored.

I'm probably the only one who doesn't want a Trollhunters' sequel (actually, a remake). I would hate it.

It just takes ALL the character development that has happened across all the story and shoves it in the trash. It's simply terrible. Character development happens when a character fails at something. Bonds are formed when hardships occur. People become stronger after difficult situations. Not to mention, the good and unlikely events that happened will be altered or not happen at all. Jim going back in time might as well make things way worse than it already is. Having lost someone or something and learning to deal with that is an extremly powerful and relevant message that could've been a perfect way to end the story but no, they had to ruin it.

All of this combined with the fact that the characters we love and grow attached to through their hardships have had all of those events stripped from their experience.

Nothing is gonna be the same. A remake would be terrible.

Let's be real. Why Blinky or Draal should care about Jim as they did in the old timeline? Toby is the Trollhunter now. Draal and Blinky cared about Toby and Claire, yes, but the relationship with Jim was far superior. Jim was literally Blinky's son. Draal was Jim's protector. Meh even Arrrghh's relationship with Toby is not gonna be the same.

Not even Steve and Eli, probably. In the new timeline Jim doesn’t help Eli by standing up to Steve like he did in Trollhunters. He just lets it happen. As i've said in another post, JIM PLANTED THE SEEDS FOR STEVE’S REDEMPTION. Steve's redemption was fueled by Steve’s obsession with Jim after he gets called out and punched. And the movie ending ignored this part -.-

I don't want a sequel because all this is gone

I'm not even sure if we are gonna see NotEnrique again...

And, sorry, i don't want a new series with Toby as the Trollhunter and Jim the "side kick". What Jim should be? The Warhammer? Ugh. The amulet belongs to him. And Claire? She's gonna get the shadow staff again? She's gonna have the same development? No.

Not even Douxie, Aja and Krell are gonna be the same.

Also Toby can't beat any villain and he's an awful leader but let's not talk about this

It's just so wrong. Years of character and story development wasted….

I will despise ROTT till the end of time. As such, the only way for me to get peace of mind is to ignore it and enjoy the parts of the series that made me fall in love with it in the first place.

💛 CLOUD X TIFA:

Their relationship looks very boring and empty and it's not only sad because it makes their everyday life depressing but also because it holds them back from finding a partner for a more emotionally fulfilling relationship. It's not like being alone is a bad thing either.

Cloud seems to have been forced into a domestic setting where he is with a woman he has no romantic interest in and with two random children.

Tifa lectures him and gaslights him by saying that whatever he feels is just "shally dally" invalid.

About 6 years old Marlene harshly lectures him about life and how he should act and behave and that he should stop being so selfish all in all.

Excuse me miss, half of Remake was about saving your ass (having to save Aerith was a direct necessity coming from the fact that she traded her freedom for yours), and dozens of people were killed in the process. So if you feel yourself old enough to lecture your parent who sacrificed everything to save this world for you then please feel free to be old enough to self-reflect a bit and compare the sacrifices done for you to the things you have done for others.

Tifa's dad is also a dick in my opinion. It's not directly related to her relationship with Cloud, only from the aspect that Tifa is using her father's death to emotionally connect to Cloud and to connect Cloud to herself. However, unlike Claudia Strife, Brian Lockhart could have lived, if only he has not been so extremly stupid to confront Sephiroth in the reactor. Confronting him was a deliberate suicide and even though he was rightfully angry at the moment, it's still an unbelieveably careless and stupid act. He had a 15 year old daughter he should have looked after and should not have left there orphaned.

I don't know whose idea it was that Cloud and Tifa should raise orphans at the beginning of their 20s but it comes off depressing and Cloud looks like a prisoner.

Furthermore, Tifa's dressing style is straight up slutty. Women who show this much of their bodies in public usually intend to gain some kind of advantage from men around them. Also, most men don't like it if their woman dresses like this. Cloud especially doesn't seem to be the type who would try to show off his girlfriend's body. So it only comes off as tasteless and makes the whole atmosphere around Tifa very uncomfortable.

Other people on Tumblr also mentioned it and I find it very true that Tifa doesn't take Cloud's side whenever people are unreasonably rude to Cloud.

Lastly, in Junon when Tifa tells Cloud a story about one of their hometown buddies, Cloud admits that he doesn't really care about her stories. All in all, I detect zero chemistry and a very forced domestic set-up when I think about them, where Tifa is using and gaslighting Cloud constantly.

💚 SEPHIROTH:

Many people say it in a joking manner but I truly believe that Sephiroth has done nothing wrong in his life. He has never fallen from grace because he has never been at any place that could literally or figuratively be associated with any kind of grace in the first place. He was just an abused kid who killed for survival and had severe depression. And I don't think he is truly guilty for the things he has done.

1) If we believe that he has gone mad in Nibelheim, then as a mentally ill person he is not accountable for the things he does. As for the idea of him "choosing to be mad/evil": a person cannot deliberately go crazy. It is something that is happening to someone due to severe stress or trauma or some other trigger, it's not a choice. One simply cannot choose to go mad, it doesn't work like that.

2) If we believe that Jenova controls him then he is not guilty because Jenova controls him.

But if we really wanna measure his sins in human measures then we should first measure the shit that has been done to him with human measures and ask ourselves the question whether we or anyone else could do any better in his situation and the answer would probably be no. He has endured more and kept himself together far longer than it was expectable in human measures. He doesn't need to seek anyone's forgiveness, people who tortured him and used him could say sorry to him a thousand times and it wouldn't be enough.
