I had this AU archived off my accounts for a few years, but I'm thinking about it a lot more these days so I'm digging it up for sketches.

This is Kudari from Codebreaker, functionally the starting antagonist for the story when Emmet accidentally collides with him and takes parts of his body.

For a little debrief, the main idea of Codebreaker is that Emmet discovers that he exists in a false reality, and that there is a parallel plane where all of the instructions for his reality exist. He finds his way to this plane by accident after walking back from another lonely day at work, and is hellbent on learning how to manipulate it in the hopes that he can recover Ingo with that knowledge. Kudari is his own set of instructions, who he partly dismantles, allowing him to actually interact with the code. This leaves a hollowed out shell that starts trying to find his own way to get his body back from Emmet.

I'd been thinking about the Beta Submas leaks which lead me to sketching him again. Here's the first rough warmup sketch I did with a fight between him and Emmet.

From there I just started reworking his old design to be worse 💀

episode 8 fix it where izzy does get shot, but it doesnt kill him- its on the left side after all! a gunshot does more damage than a sword, so he has a longer healing time ahead, and with him still learning how to live missing a leg, they all agree that its best he doesn't sail away with them, that itd be better if he stayed on land while he recovers

conveniently, he just so happens to know two men who are looking to start an inn on land! he can stay with them, help them complete repairs (god knows neither of them knows what theyre doing themselves) he can whittle little souvenirs on his sick bed; he can help moderate their ideas ("theres no point picking drapes yet stede, we don't have a fucking window") he can heal in peace.

maybe he could try being someone else other than the great izzy hands, maybe he could make something new here. no captains, no first mates, just izzy and ed and stede

I know it’s hard to picture because I’m so cool and awesome all the time, but in my heart of hearts, I’m a corny goofball, and I think it would be so fucking fun to write a cliche “Lifeday Episode” holiday special for one of my fic-verses…  

Rabbit Heart era: Rael, the child, is drunk from helping himself to eggnog because he’s totally unsupervised while Dooku and Sifo-Dyas unsubtly fuck in the ‘fresher. Wow, they really learned a lot over the course of that fic, but it didn’t fix the fact that they’re complete idiots.

Milk Run/Sitting era: this is easier because the gang is such an established unit with their dynamics, Dooku, Jocasta, Sifo-Dyas, adult Rael, and teen Qui-Gon all hang out, they could have a nice classic party with intrigue, humor, and a touching sentimental moment where we remember the true meaning of Lifeday. Something-something mistletoe. Sadly, we’ll be stuffing poor Sifo-Dyas back in the friendzone, so there will be a lot of innuendo and longing looks, y’all know the drill. Don’t feel too bad for him, he’ll leave the party and text Arath at 1am for sex so nasty even I wouldn't write it.

Five Days/Twelve Months: Dooku and Sifo-Dyas don’t actually remember it’s Lifeday, but DO fall asleep on the couch at 6pm

Thunder world: Lifeday cancelled, everyone is dead and/or miserable

something hilariously ironic and somehow kind of sweet: this is the first time I've ever received flowers from a boy in my LIFE. this is the first time, and they aren't from my ex-boyfriend (the thought never crossed his mind) or my father or my brother..... the FIRST TIME I've ever received intentional flowers from a boy, it's from boy problem no 2. 😂😂😂😂😂 like what on earth!!!!!

My guess for gomens s3 is that heaven is either going to ask azi to get rid of Crowley for not playing along with the great plan, or make him use Crowley for their needs because “you’re the only one he listens to”.

Thinking about what should I use as a building floor plan study guide for my upcoming drawing test for the Architecture course... Then I realize... Nightbringer has the Wanderer's Whereabouts feature... And it has the floor plan of the House of Lamentation. I can use that!!!
