I didn't get him (and I need to save my keys for Silver's birthday, sob) so I looked up his groovy, and I'm not over how incredibly dramatic and epic and cool it looks in direct contrast to the absolutely ridiculous context. just look at that dynamic action and his majestic sparkling tears and keep in mind that this is pretty much right after a bunch of characters have been dance battling for his soul.

and then even the actual moment of the groovy is just like

this is NOT a negative in the slightest, I love it all, this truly was an incredible update in so many ways

the injustice of the rat grinders technically playing by the rules and getting lauded for it because they have discipline and are generally Good at School vs the bad kids literally saving the world every other day and having to play catch-up to be acknowledged for it. the way that public school only caters to people who are good at "playing the game" of the education system and anyone that can't function how the school deems you should under its strict policies and conditions is tossed aside and called a failure. how are we feeling, american public school survivors?

This RadioRose angst and hurt/comfort comic was inspired by this post by deadlyashesart (there's also a link to the fanfic they're writing go check it out) and this animatic. Just piecing some things together and this messy comic turned out

Side note: I've made an attempt at a sideblog for Hazbin Hotel stuff because it's getting *ahem* recurrent but tags aren't working yet and I messed it up, my impatient ass has decided to repost this comic here on my main and see what happens with the sideblog. I'll announce when I finally move there if I do at all because I'm not being very patient with it tbh
