Brothers Idea

OK so my brother told me this idea while we were swapping story ideas and I loved it so I thought I share it. he said it was fine too

In short, he called it "the time I died and became the god of my own world."

so there is this dungeon master or some kind of gamer who unfortunately dies. He then meets a god who was a fan of their creations and isekai stories but the god explains he is not very creative so he gives this person the chance to be a god in his own new world.

Throughout the story, he creates life, and land, and even plays god for other isakei'd people. The god who gave him his powers is also there, being a backset creator of this world.

TL:DR: A person dies, and now, as a change to create his very own, real life, isakei world

Took an ill advised afternoon nap, you know how it is...

I had a dream that I was gonna play a DND game with a handful of other people except none of us had prepared characters. Or knew each other well? I knew one other person I think.

So the DM pulled out a bunch of sheets and slid them onto the table face down and said to pick one each. (The table was a fancy smooth dark wooden dining room type table).

Me and the person next to me, a woman my dream said I knew whose face I can't remember now, each reached and slid one over.

Everyone else took one too.

I flipped mine over and it was a stat page with a drawing of a fancy looking human (except maybe not the race line was REDACTED) lady, with a dark updo and a kind of Natalie Dormer smile.

Some of the stat page was filled out other bits left for me to fill in.

I thought, 'okay she looks devious. High end thief maybe? Cons old rich guys and steals all their jewels n money?'

And the gal next to me had a half elf (her race was not redacted) with red hair back in a pearl hair net, and a set of cards in her hand and a kind of mean shoulder/head tilt.

We immediately decided they were a two woman con team.

There was someone complaining that they didn't wanna play a bear furry, but I can't remember who

The DM said all choices were final, it was luck of the draw.

She slid a pot of pens into the center of the table and we all took one.

I took a purple one because I like purple, my friend took a dark red one.

Someone (they had a gnoll with a blue beaded mane holding a clock? Something with gears anyway, in front of them) asked about dice.

The DM said, 'those come in later, just name your characters, that's the important part for now. Read the info paragraph first though.'

Me and my friend are like, okay suuuure and we look down and–'

Mine was something about a lady who cooly cons aristocrats out of their money and jewels and occasionally a race horse or two.

My friend was something about a hot headed half elf that could climb any wall and had contacts everywhere, and a precious gift for document forgery.

And we were like, 'huh, that's actually pretty close to what I was imagining? Neat coincidence!'

And the DM was just like, 'Dont pick a silly name, you don't wanna get stuck with it and once you put a name at the top, your STUCK with it!'

So like, we uncapped the pens and signed OUR names. Just the first ones. Why would two con women have lasting last names, right?

The ink was black black black and shimmery and it felt like the good kind of falling?

The DM tapped my sheet and pointed to the blank line that said CURSES and AFFLICTIONS and said, 'something goes there, doesn't it?'

And I was like, 'oh huh, sure, yeah you're right'

And I started to put something down BUT THEN I WOKE UP.

It started with the word 'cold' tho.

You awoke in a room bathed in soft, golden light, the ceiling adorned with elegant carvings of trees and vines.

The air smelled of pine and rain, but the unfamiliar surroundings caused you to panic.

Sitting up, you realized something was terribly wrong with you.

Your body was not your own.

Small, delicate hands replaced the ones you remembered, and long strands of silver-blonde hair cascaded over your shoulders.

The reflection in a nearby mirror near your bed confirmed your fear.

This wasn’t you in any way or form, but the body of someone else, and clearly the vibe of the palace indicates you are in a different timeline.

Or rather a different place.

All you can remember is that you accidentally fall from your balcony.

Your breathing quickened, and you clutched at the bedcovers as your heart pounded in your chest.

This had to be a dream, a strange, vivid dream.

Also, something caught your attention...you have elf ears.

The door creaked open, and in stepped a figure who took your breath away, not from awe, but from the shock of recognition.

Legolas.

His impossibly perfect features were softer than you’d imagined, but his piercing blue eyes filled with concern.

"You have finally woken up, are you unwell, iel?" he asked, his voice gentle, filled with concern.

The word 'iel' refers to daughter.

You shook your head intensely, unable to speak as confusion overtook you.

His brows furrowed, and he moved closer, kneeling by the bed.

"You’re safe," he said, mistaking your terror for something external like the accident that happened to you.

The accident where you tried to run away.

His hand reached out, but you flinched away.

Not out of fear, because you love Legolas as he is one of your favourite characters.

However, you still are wary of what is happening.

The hurt in his eyes was clear, though he quickly masked it.

"What’s wrong, meleth nín, are you still upset about what happened?"

Now this added more to your confusion, what exactly happened?

"I apologise...I don't remember anything."

It's safer for you to take this route, pretending to have amnesia makes it easier for them not to doubt you if you act strange.

Before the Elven prince could say anything or even think of what to say.

Another figure entered the room, his presence commanding and regal.

Thranduil.

The Elvenking’s icy gaze softened when he saw you, yet his posture remained stiff.

"What is happening here?" he asked, his tone calm but laced with the usual authority.

Legolas glanced at him helplessly, gesturing toward your trembling form.

"She lost her memories, she doesn't remember anything."

Thranduil’s eyes studied you intently, his sharp features is unreadable at first.

But then he smirks.

"Then we will teach her, and make her remember by reminding her."

This made you feel more relaxed than they brought your lie.

But you can't contain your excitement to explore the world of your favourite books.

Yet, you don't know that you won't be allowed to do that.

And what your new grandfather means by 'reminding' is that he and Legolas will tell you false memories.

Only to remodel you into an obedient daughter and granddaughter.

It's interesting how like each of the winners in each iteration of the Life Series can be simplified into caricatures of themselves from the PoV of us the viewers or the deities that I'm not bothered to name but is essential to the lore (cough cough). From each victor and their tragedies forms stories intertwined across participants and other seaons.

Starting with Grian, as the first victor and the organiser of sorts he is like one of isakei tropes but he doesn't get hit by a truck. He is like the playtester or control experiment to see if the games are a success or not, and considering the amount of attention the Life Series garnered during its first season, he was the successful victor pathing for the next to come.

Scott, the winner of Last Life, is the like the poster child of rebellion to the Watcher's perspective. A nuisance that challenges the boundaries of the game but also a player who is still under their influence and can be replaceable in a way. Someone who despite keeping his alliances and promises with his the other participants still wins fairly.

PearlescentMoon on the otherhand is a tragedy in Double Life. With a gimmick that's supposed to pair you with someone compatible and then being rejected by that one someone who was once your teammate would be the first blow to Pearl. But then been surrounded by others who seemingly have their soulmates figured out, it just emphasises the loneliness that you seem to carry. When you finally team again, it's more out of an obligation to survive and conquer over the others. Eventually ending in a dillema where it's only you can win but not both. So essentially Pearl's season was a tragedy of loneliness and isolation that caused by the distrust of others towards her being an omen of death and chaos.

Martyn's arc, compared to Scott was that he was stuck in history. From his time in Dogwarts with Ren influencing his playstyle and his clothing to his time back in Evo, his history just parts Martyn's storyline through Limited Life. Even as he slaughtered the others in the finale in a mindless bloodlust, it was because of his involvment with the Watchers and Listeners that caused him to become the poster-child for the Watchers. A moldable victor for their entertainment.

GTWScar in Secret Life is the misunderstood villian. An antagonisitc force because of the involvement of the Secret Keeper. A playtoy that the uppermanagement used and quickly discarded because of his involvement with Grian. An ever-hopeful force that drags Grian back onto the orbit and away from the Watchers. Yet to him, Grian is the Sun that he captivates him.

Finally Joel or Smallishbeans, he is the uncontrollable and rebellious comedian of sorts that did what Scott couldn't do. He was able to push and persist against the boundaries and didn't fall under the Watcher's influence. He was almost a complete pacifist towards others and his teammate and alliances and only then like the other victors, did he win.

The summoned hero is a child, now the only way to avoid war is to fall in love! story idea

Alright, so this idea is about a king who is informed by an oracle that war will begin in the next few years.  The king knows there is no way to win with their current power so he decides to summon a hero to help them.  Unfortunately, the hero turns out to be an orphaned child from another world.  The king is upset but decides to raise the boy hoping he can grow up to be the strong hero the world needs.

While raising the boy they both eventually meet the demon queen and her child.  The hero bow and the demon daughter form a very close friendship to where they sneak out to meet.  This forces the king and demon queen to meet often.  

Eventually, they bond and fall in love.

That is a short summary of this idea.  Didn’t have time to think this one through yet so not everything will make sense.  sorry.

alright I was making a list but I can’t find it — so here’s a new one:

The First Night with the Duke (18+, isakei, comedy, romance): this is my favorite only because it’s hilarious. The ML is kinda a yandere but he’s actually not bad and it’s mostly used for comedic effect. FL is a girl who was reincarnated into a side character’s body of her favorite book and she’s just content to live her life because the character she is has a lot of money. she was gonna stay far away from the ML, but ends up getting drunk and sleeping with him. so what happens when he asks her to take responsibility for taking his virginity (and his heart).

The Broken Ring: This Marriage Will Fail (historical / 18+) : read the tw, this probably isn’t for everyone — six year old Ines chooses Carcel to be her husband because of his pretty face. Carcel believes Ines to be deeply in love, but what happens when she finds out he’s cheating and she doesn’t care? (Multiple lives, cheating but kind of understandable(?), black cat x golden retriever)

Going to Bed with My Hater (modern, 18+): this one is so cute — the FL used to be a big fan of the ML, but when he started taking on mediocre roles, she blasts him as a critic. and then she gets drunk ends up sleeping with him, and has to be on a TV show with him. It’s so cute.

How to Survive as a Maid in a Horror Game (horror / comedy / fantasy / romance(?): this is an interesting one. FL is isakei’d into a bad horror game she was playing the night before that’s known for horrible game mechanics that are very punishing. she gets reincarnated as a maid who is a servant to the heir to this important family and seen as a savior — but he’s actually a murderer and the devil.

The Law of Being Friends with a Male (high school romance, cute, fluffy): FL has a crush on her friend, but her friend confesses that he has a crush on another girl. Friend tries to ask her who her crush is and she describes him vaguely and he thinks he knows who it is — and tries to set her up with his best friend, the ML.

my Cocky Neighbor (18+, neighbors to lovers): this one is a little weird and I would say the main gimmick of this manhwa is essentially all but ignored but putting that aside — I think the dynamic between the ML + FL are so cute. ML is basically your basic playboy who is annoying FL with all his noise at night. She goes over to complain, and he basically slams the door in her face. She accidentally curses him and he becomes a dildo…it’s a whole thing.

Marry My Husband (18+, revenge, second chance at life): funny I finished this one right before the drama dropped. FL lived a horrible life with her husband, and then she found out her best friend and husband were having an affair while she was dying of cancer. they end up murdering her and she is sent back in time. she has a second chance and she wants to get revenge on both of them. but she also finds friends and love along the way!

I will make an attempt to change the genre (isakei, romance, comedy, fantasy) — FL is reincarnated into the body of the evil aunt in her favorite novel — an antagonist who is killed off early on for being shitty and money hungry. she decides to be a good aunt to her nephew, who is the main character, and try to change the course of the story — where he ends up alone for most of his life after the death of several characters. FL ends up involved in the story and finding a love interest in the form of the Duke, who is the nephew’s uncle (uncle on his father’s side, FL is aunt on the mother’s side, so they aren’t related).

I thought my time was up (fantasy, romance, curse): FL has a shitty family and is going to die of a rare magical disease of which there is no cure. so she wants to have a boyfriend before she dies — she has strong purification magic so she makes a deal with a Duke that she will purify his cursed body if he dates her (and then they fall in love).

Not Sew Wicked Stepmother (romance, comedy, isakai, fairytale, mentions of SA): a woman is isakai’d into the body of essentially the plot of Snow White — her stepdaughter is about 11 and the stepmother was been treating her badly until she was taken over by the MC. MC just loves the daughter and wants her to be happy. She gives her husband the space he wants and demonstrates that she wants her stepdaughter to be happy and he starts to fall for her.

Kadar and Claudia being isekai’ed to the industrial revolution would be fun. I’m not entirely sure what you guys mean by that but I’m going to assume it’s during AC Syndicate.

Now, it would be the easy road if we team up Claudia and Evie while Kadar gets roped into Jacob and the Rooks.

So I propose an alternative:

Claudia feels offended by how rough these supposed ‘allies’ of the Brotherhood is and barged her way to becoming the second in command of the Rooks.

(Everyone sometimes say that Claudia acts more like their boss than Jacob does though and Jacob likes to call her boss whenever she orders him around)

This twists what was meant to happen because Claudia would have been sus of Pearl from the get go and would definitely keep Jacob from going too far while helping him… plan ahead.

On the other side of this changed ‘storyline’, Kadar becomes Evie’s sorta ‘mission’. To be more exact, she believes his and Claudia’s appearance in this time is connected to the POE she’s trying to get to before the Templars does. Kadar has no idea how he got there though, all he remembers was touching the treasure they were sent to retrieve before getting stabbed on the stomach.

And he doesn’t even realize that he’s become the third wheel to the budding romance of Evie and Jayadeep.

Kadar just wanted to go home because he knows that Malik is worried about him and he’s worried about how Altaïr is doing considering the last time he saw him, he got slammed so hard he caused a minor collapse on his way out of the room.
