Brothers Idea

OK so my brother told me this idea while we were swapping story ideas and I loved it so I thought I share it. he said it was fine too

In short, he called it "the time I died and became the god of my own world."

so there is this dungeon master or some kind of gamer who unfortunately dies. He then meets a god who was a fan of their creations and isekai stories but the god explains he is not very creative so he gives this person the chance to be a god in his own new world.

Throughout the story, he creates life, and land, and even plays god for other isakei'd people. The god who gave him his powers is also there, being a backset creator of this world.

TL:DR: A person dies, and now, as a change to create his very own, real life, isakei world

Took an ill advised afternoon nap, you know how it is...

I had a dream that I was gonna play a DND game with a handful of other people except none of us had prepared characters. Or knew each other well? I knew one other person I think.

So the DM pulled out a bunch of sheets and slid them onto the table face down and said to pick one each. (The table was a fancy smooth dark wooden dining room type table).

Me and the person next to me, a woman my dream said I knew whose face I can't remember now, each reached and slid one over.

Everyone else took one too.

I flipped mine over and it was a stat page with a drawing of a fancy looking human (except maybe not the race line was REDACTED) lady, with a dark updo and a kind of Natalie Dormer smile.

Some of the stat page was filled out other bits left for me to fill in.

I thought, 'okay she looks devious. High end thief maybe? Cons old rich guys and steals all their jewels n money?'

And the gal next to me had a half elf (her race was not redacted) with red hair back in a pearl hair net, and a set of cards in her hand and a kind of mean shoulder/head tilt.

We immediately decided they were a two woman con team.

There was someone complaining that they didn't wanna play a bear furry, but I can't remember who

The DM said all choices were final, it was luck of the draw.

She slid a pot of pens into the center of the table and we all took one.

I took a purple one because I like purple, my friend took a dark red one.

Someone (they had a gnoll with a blue beaded mane holding a clock? Something with gears anyway, in front of them) asked about dice.

The DM said, 'those come in later, just name your characters, that's the important part for now. Read the info paragraph first though.'

Me and my friend are like, okay suuuure and we look down and–'

Mine was something about a lady who cooly cons aristocrats out of their money and jewels and occasionally a race horse or two.

My friend was something about a hot headed half elf that could climb any wall and had contacts everywhere, and a precious gift for document forgery.

And we were like, 'huh, that's actually pretty close to what I was imagining? Neat coincidence!'

And the DM was just like, 'Dont pick a silly name, you don't wanna get stuck with it and once you put a name at the top, your STUCK with it!'

So like, we uncapped the pens and signed OUR names. Just the first ones. Why would two con women have lasting last names, right?

The ink was black black black and shimmery and it felt like the good kind of falling?

The DM tapped my sheet and pointed to the blank line that said CURSES and AFFLICTIONS and said, 'something goes there, doesn't it?'

And I was like, 'oh huh, sure, yeah you're right'

And I started to put something down BUT THEN I WOKE UP.

It started with the word 'cold' tho.

You awoke in a room bathed in soft, golden light, the ceiling adorned with elegant carvings of trees and vines.

The air smelled of pine and rain, but the unfamiliar surroundings caused you to panic.

Sitting up, you realized something was terribly wrong with you.

Your body was not your own.

Small, delicate hands replaced the ones you remembered, and long strands of silver-blonde hair cascaded over your shoulders.

The reflection in a nearby mirror near your bed confirmed your fear.

This wasn’t you in any way or form, but the body of someone else, and clearly the vibe of the palace indicates you are in a different timeline.

Or rather a different place.

All you can remember is that you accidentally fall from your balcony.

Your breathing quickened, and you clutched at the bedcovers as your heart pounded in your chest.

This had to be a dream, a strange, vivid dream.

Also, something caught your attention...you have elf ears.

The door creaked open, and in stepped a figure who took your breath away, not from awe, but from the shock of recognition.

Legolas.

His impossibly perfect features were softer than you’d imagined, but his piercing blue eyes filled with concern.

"You have finally woken up, are you unwell, iel?" he asked, his voice gentle, filled with concern.

The word 'iel' refers to daughter.

Did you really get reincarnated into Lord of the rings?

You shook your head intensely, unable to speak as confusion overtook you.

His brows furrowed, and he moved closer, kneeling by the bed.

"You’re safe," he said, mistaking your terror for something external like the accident that happened to you.

The accident where you tried to run away.

His hand reached out, but you flinched away.

Not out of fear, because you love Legolas as he is one of your favourite characters.

However, you still are wary of what is happening.

The hurt in his eyes was clear, though he quickly masked it.

"What’s wrong, meleth nín, are you still upset about what happened?"

Now this added more to your confusion, what exactly happened?

"I apologise...I don't remember anything."

It's safer for you to take this route, pretending to have amnesia makes it easier for them not to doubt you if you act strange.

Before the Elven prince could say anything or even think of what to say.

Another figure entered the room, his presence commanding and regal.

Thranduil.

The Elvenking’s icy gaze softened when he saw you, yet his posture remained stiff.

"What is happening here?" he asked, his tone calm but laced with the usual authority.

Legolas glanced at him helplessly, gesturing toward your trembling form.

"She lost her memories, she doesn't remember anything."

Thranduil’s eyes studied you intently, his sharp features is unreadable at first.

But then he smirks.

"Then we will teach her, and make her remember by reminding her."

This made you feel more relaxed than they brought your lie.

But you can't contain your excitement to explore the world of your favourite books.

Yet, you don't know that you won't be allowed to do that.

And what your new grandfather means by 'reminding' is that he and Legolas will tell you false memories.

Only to remodel you into an obedient daughter and granddaughter.

alright I was making a list but I can’t find it — so here’s a new one:

The First Night with the Duke (18+, isakei, comedy, romance): this is my favorite only because it’s hilarious. The ML is kinda a yandere but he’s actually not bad and it’s mostly used for comedic effect. FL is a girl who was reincarnated into a side character’s body of her favorite book and she’s just content to live her life because the character she is has a lot of money. she was gonna stay far away from the ML, but ends up getting drunk and sleeping with him. so what happens when he asks her to take responsibility for taking his virginity (and his heart).

The Broken Ring: This Marriage Will Fail (historical / 18+) : read the tw, this probably isn’t for everyone — six year old Ines chooses Carcel to be her husband because of his pretty face. Carcel believes Ines to be deeply in love, but what happens when she finds out he’s cheating and she doesn’t care? (Multiple lives, cheating but kind of understandable(?), black cat x golden retriever)

Going to Bed with My Hater (modern, 18+): this one is so cute — the FL used to be a big fan of the ML, but when he started taking on mediocre roles, she blasts him as a critic. and then she gets drunk ends up sleeping with him, and has to be on a TV show with him. It’s so cute.

How to Survive as a Maid in a Horror Game (horror / comedy / fantasy / romance(?): this is an interesting one. FL is isakei’d into a bad horror game she was playing the night before that’s known for horrible game mechanics that are very punishing. she gets reincarnated as a maid who is a servant to the heir to this important family and seen as a savior — but he’s actually a murderer and the devil.

The Law of Being Friends with a Male (high school romance, cute, fluffy): FL has a crush on her friend, but her friend confesses that he has a crush on another girl. Friend tries to ask her who her crush is and she describes him vaguely and he thinks he knows who it is — and tries to set her up with his best friend, the ML.

my Cocky Neighbor (18+, neighbors to lovers): this one is a little weird and I would say the main gimmick of this manhwa is essentially all but ignored but putting that aside — I think the dynamic between the ML + FL are so cute. ML is basically your basic playboy who is annoying FL with all his noise at night. She goes over to complain, and he basically slams the door in her face. She accidentally curses him and he becomes a dildo…it’s a whole thing.

Marry My Husband (18+, revenge, second chance at life): funny I finished this one right before the drama dropped. FL lived a horrible life with her husband, and then she found out her best friend and husband were having an affair while she was dying of cancer. they end up murdering her and she is sent back in time. she has a second chance and she wants to get revenge on both of them. but she also finds friends and love along the way!

I will make an attempt to change the genre (isakei, romance, comedy, fantasy) — FL is reincarnated into the body of the evil aunt in her favorite novel — an antagonist who is killed off early on for being shitty and money hungry. she decides to be a good aunt to her nephew, who is the main character, and try to change the course of the story — where he ends up alone for most of his life after the death of several characters. FL ends up involved in the story and finding a love interest in the form of the Duke, who is the nephew’s uncle (uncle on his father’s side, FL is aunt on the mother’s side, so they aren’t related).

I thought my time was up (fantasy, romance, curse): FL has a shitty family and is going to die of a rare magical disease of which there is no cure. so she wants to have a boyfriend before she dies — she has strong purification magic so she makes a deal with a Duke that she will purify his cursed body if he dates her (and then they fall in love).

Not Sew Wicked Stepmother (romance, comedy, isakai, fairytale, mentions of SA): a woman is isakai’d into the body of essentially the plot of Snow White — her stepdaughter is about 11 and the stepmother was been treating her badly until she was taken over by the MC. MC just loves the daughter and wants her to be happy. She gives her husband the space he wants and demonstrates that she wants her stepdaughter to be happy and he starts to fall for her.

This isn’t actually meant to be an ask- (though it is now) i just decided to inform you that ArdaNirnThedas and ThinkingWildThoughts are now trapped in the deadzone that is not having a password to get back into our normal accounts and until i get ArdaNirnThedas a new blog we will be a joint account picking up where we left off and commenting with abandon on your posts cause their really cool. Kadar and Claudia being isekai’ed to the industrial revolution would be fun. I’m not entirely sure what you guys mean by that but I’m going to assume it’s during AC Syndicate.

Now, it would be the easy road if we team up Claudia and Evie while Kadar gets roped into Jacob and the Rooks.

So I propose an alternative:

Claudia feels offended by how rough these supposed ‘allies’ of the Brotherhood is and barged her way to becoming the second in command of the Rooks.

(Everyone sometimes say that Claudia acts more like their boss than Jacob does though and Jacob likes to call her boss whenever she orders him around)

This twists what was meant to happen because Claudia would have been sus of Pearl from the get go and would definitely keep Jacob from going too far while helping him… plan ahead.

On the other side of this changed ‘storyline’, Kadar becomes Evie’s sorta ‘mission’. To be more exact, she believes his and Claudia’s appearance in this time is connected to the POE she’s trying to get to before the Templars does. Kadar has no idea how he got there though, all he remembers was touching the treasure they were sent to retrieve before getting stabbed on the stomach.

And he doesn’t even realize that he’s become the third wheel to the budding romance of Evie and Jayadeep.

Kadar just wanted to go home because he knows that Malik is worried about him and he’s worried about how Altaïr is doing considering the last time he saw him, he got slammed so hard he caused a minor collapse on his way out of the room.

The summoned hero is a child, now the only way to avoid war is to fall in love! story idea

Alright, so this idea is about a king who is informed by an oracle that war will begin in the next few years.  The king knows there is no way to win with their current power so he decides to summon a hero to help them.  Unfortunately, the hero turns out to be an orphaned child from another world.  The king is upset but decides to raise the boy hoping he can grow up to be the strong hero the world needs.

While raising the boy they both eventually meet the demon queen and her child.  The hero bow and the demon daughter form a very close friendship to where they sneak out to meet.  This forces the king and demon queen to meet often.  

Eventually, they bond and fall in love.

That is a short summary of this idea.  Didn’t have time to think this one through yet so not everything will make sense.  sorry.

1. What would you do if you were isakaied to another universe?

Hippie: I would find my way back home. I love adventure, heck I always carrying my knife on me just in case..but I don't trust Kickin to survive without me around.

Sowl: I still got a job to do, so I would continue getting souls and making sure the living are dealing with the feelings of the departed fine...Assuming it is not a Dark Souls scenario...

Detect-A-Roo: (Looking at the question) What is an Isakai? (Looks over to paper Bubba shows him) OH...I would mostly just hang out honestly, assuming there is no danger. (His ass would fail to register the danger.)

2. What do you think of the Smiling Critters?

Hippie: I love them all. They are all a colorful group to hang out with! I especially love vibing with Catnap! Bobby is a great learner of medicine as well, along with Bubba. Though, that is all without mentioning my adopted brother Kickin! He actually convinced mom and dad to adopt me when he found me in the woods one day. Can not ask for a better bro than him!...So don't hurt him.

Sowl: I care about them all...though they are terrified of me...Thankfully, Hippie and Kickin help them get used to me, now even Crafty talks to me. Honestly though, I am in a different group, the Nightmare Critters. I love both groups, but the Nightmares didn't run when I was brought in by Poe. While I sometimes have to make sure they don't get into too much trouble like during...ĦȺłłøwɇɇn...I am confident I am not going to trade them for anything...I know the question is about the SMILING Critters, but "I like them all," felt too short.

Detect-A-Roo: A colorful cast of an investigation team if I ever seen one. I will provide them my aid of they asked cause they have had my back in turn. I know cause it has happened before! While I have a bit of a crush bias on some...Picky and Bubba mostly...I will fight tooth and nail for any of them and solve any crime if they are victim and not stop until the case is closed.

Dainty Daisy: She is a bit of c***, but honestly, it is that attitude that makes me enjoy her presence.

Hyper Humor: She is out there in a way I can't help but love. She is also a medical mystery I am never solving...

Sowl's opinions:

Daisy: She and I get along very well actually. Not sure why honestly...Maybe because she is a bit of a mean girl while she looks like a prep girl and I am the same in the opposite way...either way, I like her.

Mana Mare ( @theonetruegnome ): It took me a long time to have her get used to me...and even then, I am not entirely sure if she is yet.

Catcaper ( @funny-critter-blog ): He is a lovely person to dance mysteries with! He gets a bit sick of me, sure, but I have not been told to gtfo by him yet, so take that as you will.

Leah Lensbear ( theonetruegnome ): Her eyes are fined tuned to capture the environment in a way I can't see things, so she is wonderful person to teach and hang out with. I do not why anyone would think to bring harm to her, I certainly would have become friends with her with we were both in that school.

Daisy: She is has a very good head on her shoulders, but her words...maybe she needs to talk to other before before I let her join me on a case.

Hippie: Give me a knife and I can end any fight if need be...(Pulls out her hunting knife) Oh wait! I already have one!

Sowl: I am not really a weapon gal, though it helps that I have magic, perks of being a reaper I guess. Ha ha...ha...Though, I can fall back on a pole arm, like a spear if need be. Scythes are bit too heavy for me...

Detect-A-Roo: Weapon? Please! A true detective does not rely on such easy mode tools like that to succeed in a fight. Like in solving crime, you must rely on your own abilities. Observe! (Kangaroo kicks wall down)...Why did I do that, Dogday is not going to be happy...

5. What is your favorite genre in books, movies or series?

Hippie: I love myself some good action, especially when it either is A. Extremely realistic, see John Wick, or B. Extremely power based, like Jojo. I have also been a fan of horror, but I don't watch it much since Sowl is around. Romance, am I right?

Sowl: Call me cheesey, but...romance and comedy have always been my jam and peanut butter...or, chocolate and milk if you are allergic to-OFF TOPIC! I love anything that has great characters bouncing off one another or full of great jokes. Elemental has been a guilty pleasure, but I love stuff like The Lego Movie, Deadpool...weirdly, plus Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and no I didn't misspeak there.

Detect-A-Roo: Call me cliché all you want, but give me a good mystery and I am set for the day. Sherlock Holmes, Columbo, Phoenix Wright, all huge examples of how to solve a mystery, and that is just my personal favorites. Another good way for me to get invested in something is a good story though. Yakuza, Persona 3, Death Note. Even if L was killed...

Hippie: I honestly listen to stuff with a bounce to them! "No Dazzle No Break" is a good example of what I like, though I also like songs with lyrics saying something. "Don't" is a good example of what I mean.

6. What kind of music do you like to listen to?

Sowl: I am not really a listener to music. Not cause I am not a fan, but because I am usually focusing on stuff that has no music. Poe has made me listen to classical musical though when we hang out...kinda affected my taste when I do listen to music. "A Gentleman's Fantasy" is what I like.

Detect-A-Roo: I love me some jazz and blues. It puts me into the perfect mindset to solve mysteries of all kinds, "The Fragrance of Coffee" and "Joint Reasoning" being two of my favorites.~

a young kid gets taken/kidnapped to space(maybe trafficers) and is found and raised by a cybertronian. They have no clue about earth but everything about cybertron and it's culture(and a lot of secrats and facts that neighter factions even know). They speak cybertronian, since they don't know any earth language(if/when she/he gets to speak with another cybertronian she/he is gonna get stuck in their subspace in a klik).

What if their carrier or sire is a highly wanted individual to both factions(they are an apsolute asshole, that annoyed or humiliated a lot of people in both factions) with an interesting past. Neighter side knows where they are or has ever caught them.

(maybe the kid and them somehow formed an official creator bond and now they age slower and register as a sparklings to cybertronian sensors)

Thoughts ?

I legitimately have a situation similar to this planned out for Once Upon A Time but with the Autobots specifically [lost light ripoff, ehehem] but as a Neohuman.

Honestly, I love this idea and can see a few applications for it, regular human or no (but I'm guessing cybernetic adjacent because of Sire/Carrier) a cybernized human scenario? An Isakei youngling? A Neutral whose the result of a starcrossed love affair between the fractions? What if their sire is the isakei character, is a psychopathic asshole because they don't see that universe as "real" and everything as existing for their amusement and still can predict plot/place/character information to a deadly degree because of their previous obsession?

oooo, I like that last one.

The raised Cybertronian aspect is so interesting tho, because you'll have that youngling rediscovering their heritage, for better or worse, alongside a parental figure whose right there for them. Agnst potential? Yes. But there's also a lot of fluff and comfort you can get from that. Affirmation of the found family, of those bonds, and that regardless of your origins, you are loved and you are not limited by it.

I'm tearing up at the thought of it.
