Brothers Idea

OK so my brother told me this idea while we were swapping story ideas and I loved it so I thought I share it. he said it was fine too

In short, he called it "the time I died and became the god of my own world."

so there is this dungeon master or some kind of gamer who unfortunately dies. He then meets a god who was a fan of their creations and isekai stories but the god explains he is not very creative so he gives this person the chance to be a god in his own new world.

Throughout the story, he creates life, and land, and even plays god for other isakei'd people. The god who gave him his powers is also there, being a backset creator of this world.

TL:DR: A person dies, and now, as a change to create his very own, real life, isakei world

magical girl academy

This is just a weird idea I felt like sharing.

pretty much in this world anyone who wanted to be a magical girl, or boy, would be set to another dimension to try to be just that. there they will discover what kind of magical warrier would be right for them. they could be a mermaid, fairy, flower, knight, angel, or anything else.

they would also learn if they have magic or if they need a magical item. this goes for clothes, armor, and accessories as well.

once they graduate and they have mastered their magic, found a compatible uniform they would go wherever was best for their specific style of fighting. to a mermaid would do to the ocean or a fairy would go to a forest.

However, in this story, there is one girl who is struggling to find out what kind of magical girl she is. she does have magic but for some reason, she can not release it. She can only give it to others. eventually, she will learn she is actually a goddess. She is meant to give blessings, power, and strength to others. for this story that would be the principal. She then has to learn how to give correct blessings, choose the correct students to go to different worlds, and much more.

take note her job is super important since one wrong blessing, one wrong student, and just one mistake could result in the destruction of a town, a city, or even a world. she will struggle with this harsh reality as well.

What I would do... the black cauldron

So for the black cauldron, I would change only a few things.  However, these are big changes as well.

To start, I would change it from an animated film to a live-action one.  With the dark tone and story and the more developed CGI we have today, I think making it a live-action would make it a lot better.

Next, I would change it from a film to a series.  There was way too much lore to put into one movie.  Just some of the things the film had that needed exploring are:

The magic sword.

The magic harp thing

Gurgi.  Seriously, I didn't feel much during his sacrifice.  I think I would try to develop the friendship he had with the others

The relationship between the characters.  It felt like they put 4 characters together. Made them get random feels out of nowhere when it was needed.  And that was it.  It just moved way too fast.

The cauldron itself.  There is so much lore here.

The witches

The pig

And this is not even all of it and each one was in a single movie.  If put into a series then the creators would have more time to cover these things and make it work.

Then the last thing I would do is make sure Disney was NOT involved.  This story is way too dark for Disney today. Maybe in the past but even then I don’t think it would work.  This type of story would have a lot of dark tones and heavy topics.  Death, blood, war, and much more would be put in to make it dramatic, exciting,, and thrilling.  If Disney tried I feel it would really downgrade the story.  This is a story that needs to be dark.  Disney now is way too light and family-friendly to cover this type of story.

And these are the main things I would change.   Since I thought the story was really good already I didn’t think the story needed changing much.  How it was presented is what I think needed to change the most.  If that was changed I feel it would be better.  Maybe.

What I would do...MLP Gen 5

Alright, so to start, I loved Gen 5. I wish it could have continued, but I understand why it couldn't. I would also be up for a reboot of Gen 5 with the same characters but with a different story. Seriously, I felt there was so much potential with these characters.

Either way with the end of the series I thought I would share a bit about what I would do if I changed it.

To start I would change the ending of the movie. I would have it be where Sunny does get the wings and horn but they were only there as a symbol. Similar to the ending of the music video "My past is not today" I would also make the crystal shatter at the end to show they are not needed anymore.

Next, I would still have a bit of Gen 4 lore but not be so dependent on it, specifically the main 6 of Gen 4. Instead, I would keep them as heroes, but the separation of ponies came AFTER their time. This is because I never thought alicorns were immortal; they just have a longer life. I would also keep landmarks and similar animals.

I would also make the crystal's creator be someone else. I am thinking Flurry Heart as an adult.

Here is what I am thinking. During Flurry's rule Twilight and Cadence were retired like Luna and Celestia. Maybe even gone if you want to get dark. Either way, she eventually meets Opaline. (I seriously hated the idea of her being from the same time as young Luna and Celestia and yet is the only one still alive. Seriously? There was no logic there) They become enemies and eventually fight. However with trickery, Opaline wins. kind of. You see, before Flurry is defended aka banished she realizes that the pony kind would fall to ruin because of Opaline and the ponies fighting so to stop it she created the crystals and scattered them. At the same time, she is banished and now Opaline is trapped in a world without magic. Take note Flurry Heart made it a condition that to get magic back ponies have to unite again. Something that would never happen with Opaline in charge.

That is pretty much the backstory of the crystals. After magic returns, there is no need for them again so they shatter and magic returns permanently. Opaline who is still around but was in a hibernation state (not sure how yet. maybe discord or dragons?) returns and while getting a grasp of the new era she plans her counterattack. Meanwhile, Flurry tried to contact someone to help her get free and help defeat Opaline.

Off-track thoughts:

Maybe Misty is the only one that can hear Flurry's voice and that is why she joins the gang and why Opaline targets her.

Maybe at the end, they all hear Flurry’s voice, free her and with Flurry Heart and the new mane 6 working together they defeat Opaline.  Not says Flurry will stay though.  I think she will retire too and travel the new world similar to what StarSwirl the bearded did once he was free.

Oh maybe Flurry was the princess of unity and passed the title on to Sunny after she pulls a Celestia and makes Sunny a princess.  

Or the main 6 became the unity council and none of them turned into princesses/princes.

What I would do...Mouse Trap

OK, so I just heard about the horror movie based on Steamboat Willie Mickey and watched reviews on it. I can't handle watching horror movies, but even I can tell it was not so good. So here is what I would do.

I would make it a half 2d and half live-action film. In it, cartoons are sentient like in Wreck it Ralf but they get tired of the cruel and dangerous acts the cartoonist put them through. They feel the pain but get numb to it over the years. So Mickey came out of the cartoon and started attacking people. Whenever he kills someone they are teleported into the cartoon world where they start going through the exact same dangerous acts the cartoons go through while experiencing every little excruciating pain. to make it worse they can't die since cartoon characters tend to not die so every time they are"killed" they come back for the next "episode" By the end all of Mickey's enemies are in the cartoon world with Mickey holding the pencil. This is like those episodes in Looney Tunes.

"what if" Disney princesses

so this idea is more of a collection of short stories featuring a few classic Disney princesses. this includes Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, snow white, Sleeping Beauty, and potentially others.

So the idea is that each of these princesses gets a chance to read their own story and I don't mean their Disney version story. I mean the ORIGINAL story. From there each one can choose how to deal with this information. A few examples can be for them to run away from it, try to change it, or even do nothing and follow the story as planned.

Obviously, I would want each character to stay in character and try to be as accurate to the time it was written. This is mainly because their original stories might be from a certain period but it was still the author's choice to write as they see fit no matter how...disturbing it can get and I really hope some of the stuff in these stories was pure or mostly pure fiction. Obviously, there can be a few modern takes in it but if I were to write it I would try and keep it to a minimum.

I really hope this made sense. To shorten this out each princess reads their original story. They get a chance to change their fate and it is up to them to try.

Paranoia

this is a story that I picture as a horror movie( well more of a drama thriller) but the protagonist is NOT the one being haunted. instead, it is their friend who slowly starts to lose it saying they are being haunted by something. the main character will try to help them. From research to let them live with them but nothing works.

Now the thing is that this movie will have a LOT of tiny details happening in the bad. You know how there are things that are placed wrong or something is missing in movies that are normally mistakes. well in this movie they are all done on purpose.

Now it is not all the time. It will start off slow like a slight move of a glass or something but when the main character is with her friend bigger things happen. An example is in one frame there will be a dish or silverware in a messy sink but then in the very next frame it is missing. Or even clothes or paper moving in the background but the main character never notices. These continue throughout the whole movie. with the activity getting bigger and more obvious but the main character is a skeptic so even when something does happen they don't think too hard about it or completely look over it.

There will also be a few jump scares like a noise being heard in the attic but is actually an animal or you open a door thinking something is there but there isn't and there isn't even when they turn back around.

Another thing is that in the movie lighting will be everything. When the characters are outside or at work it is bright and cheery. When they are at the friend's house it is dark and gloomy. Finally, when they are at the main characters' home the colors are muted. At least until the end.

In the end, the friend passes on and after the funeral, the weather is dark and rainy. When the main character finally walks into her home it is dark and gloomy and they finally see what the friend had been seeing the whole time. so it ends with an actual jumpscare.

Santa goes bad

Alright, so this is a strange one. what if Santa Claus was only the happy jolly gift giver ONLY when he is not seen.

So the idea is that some teens who were skeptical about the existence of Santa heard noises where their Christmas tree was. when they check it out they see Santa leaving gifts. The problem is that at that instant Santa sees them and morphs into an evil being who wants to kill them. The rest of the movie is then about these teens running for their lives until morning. but they also learn there is another way to stop Santa from killing them. Going to sleep. During the movie Santa only goes after people who are awake and have seen him. he ignores all who are sleeping. maybe even one of the teens gets knocked out and is found alive the next morning.

Not sure how this one would play out but it might make an interesting horror comedy.

Jeff Dunham movie

Ok so what do you think of this idea.

One day a strange event happens. All ventriloquize dummies come to life. Most keep the personalities their creators gave them. during the event, Jeff Dunham goes missing. It is now up to his dummies and clues from other ventriloquizes to track him down.

one ending can be that dummy Jeff took him in hopes he can replace Jeff. he could also just want revenge on him for one reason or another.

i can so see this being a comedy action movie similar to the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" or "Space Jam."

The requests

In this world, there is a system to potentially shorten the prison sentences of criminals and that is by completing requests.

Requests are tasks that are submitted by the people and almost anything can be requested. The only requests that are not allowed are ones that have them killed in some way. Also requests are selected at random.

If a prisoner can complete the request their sentence is reduced by a set amount of years. Each request has different reduction rates depending on difficulty. Some might be as little as a year and some can be as large as 100 years. However, if the prisoner fails that same number of years is added on to their sentence.

A prisoner is able to choose if they want to do a request. Once they have it there is no going back. They will be forced to either fail or succeed in the request.

If a request is impossible to do then the request is halved and automatically given to the prisoner. an example is if a request was to shave the prisoner's head but then the next one is to have their hair pulled. since they have no way to complete the second request the years from it will then be halved then given to the prisoner.

Now the story idea is based on a yearly game. In short, people can pay to get a prisoner to participate in dangerous games or the prison can choose to be in it. There is still no direct killing but particapates can still die from the requests. There is no quitting or escaping. If they survive the games then the total requests they completed are added then doubled and put on their sentences.

Scooby doo and the legend of Old Raridan - The Gang visit Ohio and while there they learn about the legend of old raridan the king of the wolves and the battle the settlers had with his pack. But when the legend became real the gang have to survive while finding the truth behind the mystery of the ghost settlers.

Scooby Doo and the Roger's Curse - The Gang return to their roots when they return to their childhood town. While there Shaggy discovers he might be a part of an ancient family curse. Feeling he is responsible for the gang always being thrown into dangerous mysteries he becomes determined to break this curse.

Dimensions

so this is an idea i saw in a dream so it wont make much sense but i will try.

so it began with some teens in a strange space of only doors and hallways. (don't know how they got there.)

Then i see random areas in this door. many are hard to explain. one has monstrous versions of the teen. One has stringy beings or something. ( i think there are different dimensions or realities.)

one girl person decided to stay in the stringy universe which was weird since I think she had a crush on someone. but the moment she met a male creature she instantly changed her dreams and passions. (might be by hypnosis.)

lastly, I saw a toddler, not sure where he came from, running through the doors with one of the teens chasing him. They wind up in the monster universe and that is where the dream ended.

another detail is that each time a door is gone through it leads somewhere different. so one person can go through the same door but end up somewhere else. Once the door closes it leads somewhere else.

in short, if I piece everything together I think what was happening was that the teens and toddler ended up in an in-between dimension and slowly got separated. It is up to the remaining teen to not only find their friends and watch the toddler but find a way out.

multiple type phoenix

Alright so this idea is pretty Simple. Actually it is not really a story this time.  Just on idea. 

The idea is that instead of only one type of phoenix there are 4.  one for each of the 4 elements fire, water, wind, and air.  

Not sure what kind of story would fit this idea but I like it and thought I share it.

Oh and incase your wondering they each no resurrect but in their own unique way.  Fire is obvious.  burst into flame on time of death then reborn in the ashes.  Water would bubble over and once the bubble clear a baby is there or maybe it freezes over and melts into a baby or something.  Earth would be crumble into dust and break out of the earth/rock.  Air would fade into the wind and slowly fade back in as a baby.  Not sure about the air one but own well.

oh maybe they are not even birds.  maybe they are elements with the rebirth ability but are not birds

Malfunction

OK so this idea takes place FAR in the future.  In this future people are constantly monitored by a main IA computer.  There is also a point system for crimes.  so petty robbery is 1 point, murder is 10, and so on.  All these points are calculated by the IA computer.  Once a person hits a certain number they are instantly killed.  The only people somewhat exempt from this are doctors and police and a few others. and this is because sometime doctors fail to save a life and police sometimes have to take a life.  Even so they have to go through a process to get these points removed.

Either way one day every single doctor and police and anyone who had exempt points is killed on the spot.  This was the first sign that something terrible wrong is happening.  This people start getting killed for minor things and even children.  Eventual they figure out something is wrong with the AI computer.  Now people need to figure out what happened and stop it before the human race goes extinct.

good/bad dream idea: good idea

ok so here is the good idea that i actually kind of liked.

in short there is this girl who goes shopping.  just then when she enters a shop she begins to feel dizzy.  its a feeling like a combination of an elevator, roller coaster and others.  she even collapses from the feeling.  eventually there is a crash and everything freezes except her.  then in the dream i see the outside and it is of two trains that collided.  the girl then switches with her duplicate and enters the other train.  the trains fix themselves and begin rolling along.

to summarize.  two trains that are actually time parallels collide and one person switches with themselves and enter the other timeline.  

example.  train 1 = time 1 = girl 1-----crash----- train 1 - time 1 = girl 2

                 train 2 = time 2 = girl 2-----crash----- train 2 = time 2 = girl 1

good bad dream ideas: bad idea

ok so this is in the same dream one i really like one not so  much so here are two posts for each idea.

this showed something like a hero transformation.  in short there is the yoyo sling shot thing a person uses.  they unwind it like a yoyo then it like stops in mid air.  the person then tugs a couple of times beck before it slings them towards the yoyo and they transform.  it they don’t go fast enough though it will not work.  

this was one of my weirder idea but oh well.

Butterflies

So this is more of a psychological thriller/ horror idea.  In short a person goes to sleep one day and finds that when they dream of the past they wake up in that past as the present.  They are able to jump from one period to the next from whenever they remember.  the problem is when they start trying to “fix” or change the past and go back to the present.  in it they find everything is constantly changing so they try to put everything back but it all goes wrong and they eventually end up having to settle on a reality they are not familiar with because they don’t know how to get back to the original present.
