Idea for a new anime series: Isekai Hunter

The first episode starts out as a normal isekai anime, some loser with no discernable personality gets reincarnated to what he thinks is Generic Fantasy Land and starts with all the standard Isekai tropes, including the hyper-competent hottie who fawns over him for no reason.

But, midway through the episode, the hot girl assassinates him, and it's revealed that she's a part of an elite group of warriors who hunt down and kill "Evil Spirits" (people who've been isekaied), because every time one shows up and is left unchecked they act like, well, loser nerds who suddenly got superpowers.

The girl is the main character, and she works with her organization to figure out why these guys keep showing up and take them out when they do. It's hard because they regularly have to assassinate high ranking nobles and sometimes even royalty who get possessed by isekai people.

Coyote and Raven sat on the very edge of the celestial city, gazing at a wavering image surrounded by ring of fluffy white clouds. They were minor deities, with limited sphere of influence. In fact the pair shared two spheres... mischief and trickery. They had no real followers or devotees, and they didn't care. The mistakes, jokes and oft times insensible actions of mortals empowered them more that any straight worship would.

"Kali is going to be so pissed when she hears how Freyja poached a paladin from her." Raven commented, as she swung her dangling legs back and forth.

"Yeah. The meltdown is going to be epic." Coyote agreed as he lay on his back with his head dangling over the edge, looking at the image upside down. "But I get why Freyja wants him."

"Of course. He's leagues better than those sleaze-balls that normally try and win her favor."

"So what are we going to do?" Coyote asked, a mischievous grin crossing splitting his lips and revealing his sharp canines.

"Why do we have to do anything?" Raven asked running her taloned hands through her waist length locks of midnight hair. "Kali will be back from dealing with that little undead problem soon."

"You seriously want to sit this one out?"

"No... but what are we to do?" Raven answered with a question of her own.

"We make a few nudges... maybe get another deity or two interested in him?"

"Like who?"

"I don't know... what gods or goddesses do we know that are lonely, or have shitty followers?"

"Persephone?" Raven suggested, though it sounded very much like a question. "Maybe Mania?"

"Little morbid there going for two death goddesses." Coyote commented, "Hedone, Bastet, and, or Peitho could be fun."

"They kind of run in pretty much the same spheres as Freyja... though..." Raven started to grin wickedly.

"Oh, you have a juicy idea! Spill!" Coyote chuckled.

"We have humans and dwarves... but no Kitsune or Nekomata represented."

"What about the elves?" Coyote asked.

"What? Elves? Why would we want to have those pompous bastards involved in this?"

"Because watching their sanity melt away when having to one up Kits and Nekos would be hilarious!"

"Fine. Fine. But who should we tempt from that pantheon?"

"Hathor." Coyote stated.

"Hathor?"

"Yes. She's been moping around since her last great champion kicked the bucket, plus she and Freyja do go... claws out on each other from time to time."

"I like." Raven licked her lips. "So we'll start dropping hints, maybe give this poor fellow a couple of side boons?"

"Yes, yes. Get the others all riled up about him being a free-agent and then let Kali know there's a few... entities trying to poach one of her favored followers."

"Let's be fair and give Mania a push as well."

"It's not a party with out a death deity involved!" Coyote chuckled, before getting serious for a minute. "This won't turn into a whole holy war like last time right?"

"Nah. Two Holy Wars with in five eons of each other? Not a chance!"

(A/N - At some point I'm going to have to come up with an actual pantheon for this, over just grabbing cool names. The world has also expanded! We have the Kitsune (Fox people), Nekomata (Cat people) and of course Elves! I wonder how much more convoluted I can make this? 🤔)

I had a sick anime/manga idea earlier and I'm just now getting down to typing it.

It's called "maestro hunter" it's basic premise is that in this world music is magic, and most musicians are dangerous, so there are witch hunters named "silencers". The main character is a silencer in training, she joined in order to find the musician who killed her family and placed a strange mark on her. She uses a two pronged sword that looks like a tuning fork, it allows her to counter some spells as long as they're not too strong. The basic story is her going through this world, hunting musicians, making friends, and trying to find the one who started it as she eventually becomes a full fledged silencer. Idk, I just think this is cool and wish I could make it real.

The pandemic kind of sapped me of my remaining writing ability, so I’m probably not the person to write this, but I really want a series about a therapist for anime protagonists. Like this middle aged or elderly woman with bubble gum pink hair who used to be a magical girl and half of her squad got taken out and she was so traumatized by the experience, but she had no one to talk to without being potentially taken to the psych ward (or maybe she already had a stint in one) so she became a therapist for people like her, the Usagi Tsukinos, the Jotaro Kujos, and Edward Elrics; these traumatized teens tasked with saving the world.

“The King of Evil Reborn Get's Married to The Real Prince” ‘The King of Evil’ is what they called him, the most evil man in history. But this wasn’t true, he was a tyrant but he was a spoiled brat and a scared child. Upon his execution he was crying, one moment an axe was flying towards his head feeling like he , the next he woke up in his childhood bed. He was ten again. As he looks around he sees someone run in, his best friend, a small blue haired kid with golden eyes and a golden crown and the true heir to a throne once stolen.

Give me an anime where the protagonist is isekaied not to a fantasy world, or reborn.

But where their isekai is to an alternate timeline where they just HAPPENED to have a different school situation (all girls school attendee wakes up to see their all girls school never existed and they all go to the local public school, etc).

And have them learn how that small difference is a massive change because not only can they see their friends more, their love interest has someone they can be 1000% honest about who they are with and suddenly protagonist knows how to help – by making an even bigger safe space for them.

The one I already posted about, three or more friends merging their sports and creating a new one

A (heavily implied but not quite canon) bl anime about horseriding (possibly also horseback archery)

A gl anime about car racing

Another gl anime (but this time not quite canon and also very toxic) about those very dangerous rollerskate races

Non-athletes playing basketball on a public concrete court in their free time

Pingpong in an elderly nursing home

Whatever kind of sport from our world being played in a fictional world where there are clearly very bad things going on

Same premise but with a fictional sport, and this time they're going to nationals instead of just playing in someone's backyard which I forgot to say for the previous one

A bunch of kids who do self defense sports (boxing, karate, fencing, archery, whatever), theorize which one is best and then get together to test it

An isekai anime where the MC is this Steve Irwin-like character and he doesn't care about magic, cat girls or magic cat girls. He just cares about finding all these new, fantastical animals.

Kelric sighed when the link was finally established, and the image of his father wavered into view. Calric Throlbane was a massive man, in height and mass. HIs black hair peppered with streaks of grey, as was his beard. While Kelric was dressed in his armor, his father was more relaxed in his outfit. Wearing only a long white linen shirt.

"Father."

"Kel! Good to see you, my boy." Calric greeted his son with a bright smile, before suddenly frowning. "Why aren't you sowing seeds in that fine bride of yours? I remember when I wed your mother, we didn't leave the bed chamber for a..."

"Thoria is dead."

"Oh, shit." Calric's frown vanished, quickly replaced with concern and worry. "What happened?"

"She fell in battle with a foul beast from the pits of the abyss." Kelric informed his father. "She ended up separated from me, and it struck her down in those damnable mines!"

"The mines? For the love of Kali why did you let her march on that cursed place?"

"I couldn't stop her, and I couldn't save her. I failed her. I wasn't allowed the chance to avenge her, or even recover her remains..."

"That will not be allowed to stand!" Growled his father. "The House of Trolbane will not let one it's own molder away in darkness! Inform the new queen that I will arrive with our forces to assist, with in the fortnight."

"I will, though..."

"What is it son?"

"What do you know about Dwarven Marriage Contracts, and their views on matrimony?"

"Nothing. Your mother takes care of all the bookkeeping and paper work, stuff." Calric admitted. "I actually don't do much most days. I'm more of a hit things type of guy anyway. Your mother is the brains."

"Figures."

"What was that?"

"Nothing. I mother available? Because I have some serious issues with the contract and dwarven marriage views."

"I can send a rider to summon her. She's at your Aunt's. Your cousin is having her baby."

"Please summon her, and do pass on my best wishes to Cousin Clara."

"I will, but can I have more to tell your mother? Maybe something more specific?"

"They want me to impregnate Thoria's sister, and others..."

"Excuse me?"

"That's what I said."

"Your vows don't allow such a thing! That is an insult to our views! To our HONOR!"

"Father, please don't. You've already pledged to me that you'll help with clearing the mines and retrieving Thoria's body... do not also declare war on your in-laws."

"But?"

"It's counter productive, and rude."

"Fine. I'll send word to your mother. If she leaves for the return journey as soon as word reaches her, it will be about three days."

"Thank you, father."

Calric nodded to his son before his image faded away. Kelric leaned forward his elbows on the ornate desk. His head in his hands. He was tired, but he couldn't rest just yet.

While Kelric was chatting with his father and arranging to speak with his mother in three days. Thoria and Freyja were in the middle of their own negotiations.

"So this Paladin thing is a BIG deal... so how do we make it happen, BUT more importantly will this interfere with him getting busy with my sisters and cousins?" Thoria asked. "Because that's sort of his job right now seeing as I'm well... dead.

"My spheres of influence will empower him to just such a thing."

"Okay, I'll bite. What are you a goddess of?"

"Love, beauty, fertility, sex, war, and gold." Freyja replied.

"Nice!"

"I thought you would like that. But there is a problem. Well a few problems." Freyja tipped her head and scratched behind her ear for a minute before continuing. "Ah much better. Now where was I?"

"The problems." Thoria helpfully reminded her.

"Ah, yes. First and foremost is that the Trolbane family are sort of very devout in their supplication to Kali. For him to become my Paladin, and receive my blessings, and boons... he needs to..."

"Forsake Kali and pledge to you."

"Exactly!"

"Okay, how do we do that?"

"I have no idea." Freyja admitted. "I'm actually spinning my wheels. I told him to come back later after I revealed myself to him, and he's going to do that in two days." Freyja, "I have nothing to tell him. I can easily bring you back..."

"Okay, his family serves Kali. Did he try asking Kali for help?" Thoria asked.

"She blew him off."

"Wow. Rude."

"That's how she is."

"And then you appeared to him, and offered to help?"

"Sort of." Freyja admitted. "I did approach him, and chat him up and then he asked me directly for assistance... he asked me for assistance."

"Seems to me like, he's already pledging himself to you. He asked for your assistance and you're providing it... sort of."

"But he still things he serves Kali."

"So... what do we do? He's at the cusp, but how do we... a QUEST!"

"Quest? Oh a quest in my name for something that fits my image!" Freyja's hind foot thumped happily against the window sill. "An ORGY!"

"I like how you think, but the way he's resisting even bedding my cousin Mary... I think that would drive him away."

"Damn it! Orgies fix so many problems... and come to think of it... they start them too..."
