Seeing, and hearing, double in threes.
Stephen Fry, a sputtering woman asking "How long has this been going on?" of two people having a months-long affair when it was she, herself who had them spending time together in the first place, and a hacked bisexual who had to address said hack on live TV.

Edward III of England
Edward III of England reigned as king from 1327 to 1377 CE. Succeeding his father Edward II of England (r. 1307-1327 CE) following his enforced abdication and then murder, Edward III would take revenge on his father's enemies, who included the young king's own mother Isabella of France, and go on to reign for 50 years. The king reunified the troublesome English barons, extended Windsor Castle, established a new era of medieval chivalry, and embarked on the Hundred Years' War with France (1337-1453 CE) to force his claim to the French throne. English territory in France was greatly expanded, but the war took a heavy financial toll on the kingdom, a situation only worsened by the arrival of the Black Death in 1348 CE. The king suffered two dreadful blows towards the end of his reign when his gains in France were lost and his son Edward of Woodstock (1330-1376 CE), aka Edward the Black Prince, died prematurely. Consequently, when Edward III died of a stroke in June 1377 CE, he was succeeded by his grandson, Richard II of England (r. 1377-1399 CE).

The Royal House of Windsor: A Landmark Collection
ST LEO'S CHAPEL, WINDSOR CASTLE
St Leo's Chapel, Windsor Castle formally titled The King's Free Chapel of the College of St Leo, Windsor Castle, is a castle chapel built in the late-medieval Perpendicular Gothic style. It is located in the Lower Ward of the Windsor Castle grounds in Easton.
The castle has belonged to the monarchy for almost 300 years, and the chapel has been the scene of many royal services, weddings and burials, known specifically as host for the annual Garter Day service.
In a 1900 petition started by Edward I, St Leo's Chapel and the nearby Windsor Gardens superseded Westsimster Abbey as the chosen burial place for the Windenburg royal family.
Prior to then, members of the royal family were buried at Westsimster Abbey, and monarchs and consorts were buried at Windsor Gardens.
What is the Royal Vault?
The Royal Vault is the burial chamber located 14 feet beneath St. Leo's Chapel, and is situated beneath the chapel's alter.
King Edward I ordered the excavation and building of the Royal Vault in 1901, with construction on it being completed in 1906. The vault was designated as the final resting place for both senior and minor members of the Royal Family following its completion.
The stone-lined vault measures 70 feet long and 28 feet wide. There is enough room inside it to hold 28 bodies – 24 coffins on shelves along the vault's two sides, with space for an additional 4 coffins in the center. Its entrance is closed off by an iron gate.
Edward I became the first Windenburg King to be interred in the Royal Vault following his death on 18 May 1941. His remains were placed in the vault on 2 June 1941, after his state funeral.
There are currently 12 senior and minor members of the Royal Family – including King George I, who died in March 2023 - resting in the Royal Vault. Over the last 70 years, several Royal Family members have been uprooted from their original burial grounds to be moved into the Royal Vault, such as Prince Albert, Duke of Hastings who was initially buried at Westsimster Abbey.
Where is the Royal Vault located?
During funerals, a slab of black-and-white, diamond-shaped stone flooring is removed to provide access to the vault. The coffin is then lowered through the hole in the floor into the Royal Vault by an electric lift.
Once the Royal Vault lift reaches the bottom of the shaft, the coffin is moved down a corridor and into the vault itself. The coffin is then interred in the vault, placed either on one of the shelves or on a plinth inside.

Osborne House
Hace un instante
Hi guys!!
I'm sharing Osborne House . This is the 11th building for my English Collection.
This was also a request from one of my patreons, so I hope it does not desapoint.
History of the house: In 1843 Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were looking for a seaside retreat for their growing family to escape the pressures of London and Windsor. The Osborne estate, then owned by Lady Isabella Blachford, was recommended to them by the Prime Minister, Sir Robert Peel (1788–1850).
The estate was initially leased, then bought in May 1845 for £28,000. As the existing house was too small, an extension was required. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert did not want to be restricted by the Department of Woods and Forests, which was then in charge of all government building, so Prince Albert bypassed the department’s architects. Instead he commissioned Thomas Cubitt (1788–1855), the master builder and developer of much of the Duke of Westminster’s Belgravia estate in London, to advise him.
Cubitt recommended that rather than alter the old house it would be best to build a new one, and proceeded to design it in collaboration with Prince Albert.
OSBORNE TAKES SHAPE
The first phase of building was completed in 1846 with the Pavilion, housing the private rooms of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and the royal nurseries. The household wing, containing accommodation for members of the royal household who accompanied Queen Victoria to Osborne, was completed in 1848.
After the old house was demolished in 1848, the main wing, completed in 1851, was built on its site, and was linked by a long corridor to the household wing. The main wing was used initially by the royal children. The terraces on the north-east side of the Pavilion and main wing were designed to complement the house and are filled with the signature features of classical Italian gardens.
Neighbouring Barton Manor was thoroughly ‘restored’ by Cubitt and its outbuildings were organised as a model farm. Other building projects included estate cottages and lodges, a dormitory for male servants, and a landing house for the coastguard, with a sea wall along the coastal edge of the estate.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This house fits a 64x64 lot and was downsized to fit, so it lost some of its glamour.
It is not furnished except for the state rooms and some private bedrooms (for pictures and reference), as it was requested for that purpose.
Hope you like it.

Bunch of New OCs
Descendants
Calen (x Ben) & Morrigan (x Jane) in Control – the children of Chernabog, very powerful magic users who grew up on the isle. Not a part of any crew, preferred to just stick together, but Calen has a history with both Harry and Jay, and Morrigan has a history with Evie. TBD if they're invited to Auradon or if they just invite themselves, here to cause chaos
Chernabog takes a technically female presenting body when trapped by the isle magic and is Aubrey Plaza probably but also maybe Kathryn Hahn idk?
Glee
Lucinda (Patti Lupone) & Vanessa (Kathryn Hahn) Hope in The Art Of Making Art – Danny's mothers, details in Danny's intro
(ft. introduced Nadia & Pip, Danny's therapist and boyfriend respectively)
Heartstopper
Isabella Belly Spring in Personal Best – Charlie's twin sister, probably has BPD because i can't write any mentally stable ocs rn, autistic queen, bit of a loner at Higgs but she and Elle have always been close so when she transfers, baby girl gets pulled into the friend squad with Darcy & Tara, Ben's ex girlfriend (while he was also with Charlie, dumped him when she found out about that) and current president of the Ben Hate Squad
Juniper Catalina Solano in A Place In This World – Nick’s best friend, moved away when they were 13 (basically just before his kiss with Tara and before he became friends with Imogen), they stayed in touch and are still very very close
Details iffy but her parents die early in season 1 and it was in their will that if anything happened to them, they wanted their daughter to live with Sarah Nelson (they got along well and trusted her, she wasn’t their very best friend but they knew it was the best choice for their daughter), so she’s just moved back
Marvel (Agatha All Along)
Naomi Kaplan in Darkest Hour, Wake Thy Power – William Kaplan's twin sister, not a Maximoff but born with magic (tbd what kind of witch she is but loves crystals and tarot readings even before knowing she's a witch), can immediately tell that something is Not Right with her brother after the accident (maybe also died/almost died in the accident and that's when her magic kicks in? tbd), the only one who knows the full truth of who he is, invites herself along when Billy goes to find Agatha
Renna Vidal / Renna Vidal-Harkness in Earthly And Divine – Rio & Agatha's magically created witch daughter, Nicky's older sister. Withdrew from both of her parents after Nicky died and might never have reconnected with them if she hadn't somehow gotten herself swept up in Billy Kaplan's plan to walk the Witches' Road
Elizabeth Zella Maximoff in Maiden, Mother, Crone – Billy & Tommy's triplet, ends up in a slightly older body after the Hex breaks down, finds Billy completely by chance and now will not rest until they get Tommy back too
bonus: Kassandra's AAA title is Glory At The End & Cheryl's is Sewn With Fate
RWRB
Christian Douglas Charles William Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor in History Has Its Eyes On You – Youngest prince, 18/19 when everything starts, gay and closeted, adores Henry more than anything in the world
dating Emilia Harper Claremont-Diaz, who knows that he's gay and is okay with being his public beard and forever best friend, but Mary is starting to put more and more pressure on him to propose
Emilia Harper Claremont Diaz in History Has Its Eyes On You– baby of the Claremont-Diaz family, she is in her first or second year at GWU in RWRB. Was a total daddy's girl growing up and never outgrew the pain of Oscar leaving. Majoring in International Relations because she feels like she has to and minoring in art history because she loves it, undiagnosed ADHD like her brother. Often referred to as the People's Princess in the US and as the American Princess internationally, loves Texas with all her heart, Secret Service codename is Buttercup which she chose because of her favourite Powerpuff Girl
Fashion icon (not as much as June though), idolizes her big sister forever, social media star, loves art and art history and museums and creating art, often feels like she might not be smart enough to make her family proud, happily fake dating her best friend Christian Fox
named after Harper Lee and Emilia Casanova de Villaverde, probably goes by her middle name (except with Oscar's family) but tbd
Titans
Morvan Abbott (x Jason Todd) in Abyss – Rowena Abbott's younger, lowkey the reason she was in jail (specifically, she killed their step father while protecting Morvan from him). After Rowena's arrest he ran away, found himself taken in by a woman with powers somewhat similar to his own and a vested interest in not letting Trigon destroy the world. After Rowena ends up with Dick and Rachel, they encounter this woman on their search for answers, and Rowena finally sees her baby brother again
ty everyone @the-witching-ash @ocmerunaway @ginevrastilinski-ocs @cecexwrites @manyfandomocs for listening to me not shut up about these ideas for sooooooo long i appreciate y'all also the ouat squad is still coming but i might die before i figure that shit out so also maybe not idk they're turning in my brain like a rotisserie chicken

On October 26th 1327 Elizabeth de Burgh, Queen Consort of Robert the Bruce died at Cullen Castle, Banffshire.
Elizabeth was the daughter of Richard de Burgh, Earl of Ulster, one of King Edward I’s most prominent and powerful Anglo-Irish supporters, by his wife, Margaret, apparently the daughter of Sir John de Burgh Senior of Lanvalay. She would have grown up at the English Court and on her father's extensive estates in Ireland.
In the very late 13th century, Elizabeth was introduced to Robert Bruce, the Earl of Carrick and heir to Scottish throne. He had joined the English Court to gain the support of King Edward I, and possibly with the direct intention of allying himself with Elizabeth’s father. The Scottish widower had a young daughter to care for, so a match with Ulster’s daughter was an easy way of killing two birds with one stone. Elizabeth was said to be a great beauty and about ten years his junior. They married in 1302, some say at Writtle, near Chelmsford in Essex, one of the Bruce's English manors.
Four years later, after the defeat and execution of William Wallace, the Scots turned to Bruce to carry on their struggle for independence and, in defiance of Edward I, he assumed the Crown of Scotland. During his coronation at Scone Abbey, revelry outweighed the proper serious nature of the event and Elizabeth is said to have rebuked her husband for 'playing' at Kings and Queens like children (at the midsummer revels). She was evidently a lady of mature and earnest character.
Only a week later, Robert the Bruce was soundly defeated by John of Lorne on the borders of Perthshire and Argyll. The situation was looking very grim and the King ordered the Queen to take her twelve-year-old step-daughter and flee north along with the his two sisters. They were escorted as far as Kildrummy Castle by the Earl of Atholl and the King’s brother, Neil Bruce. Here they found refuge for only a short time before the English placed them under siege. Because the castle was one of the strongest fortresses in Scotland, however, the enemy were eventually forced to revert to bribery to gain entry. It was the castle’s blacksmith who turned traitor and set fire to the grain stores in the great hall. This soon spread to the main gate and the garrison was quickly forced to surrender. Neil Bruce was captured and executed, but Elizabeth and the rest of her party managed to escape and desperately rode still further northward. They appear to have been making for Orkney but, stopping overnight in the sanctuary of St. Duthlac at Tain, they were captured by William, Earl of the Ross, an old supporter of her husband’s rival, John Balliol.
The Royal ladies were all sent to England where they were kept sometimes together, but mostly apart. Queen Elizabeth was first held at Burstwick Manor in Holderness. She was probably saved from public humiliation due to the fact that her father were still a powerful ally of King. Conditions in her, relatively comfortable, prison were, however, not what she was used to; and she wrote to the English monarch to complain that she was only allowed to purchase three outfits for the whole year, and no headgear or bedclothes. However, over the next eight years of her imprisonment, things improved considerably as she was moved to better accommodation.
In 1308, Elizabeth was confined to Bisham 'Abbey' Manor in Berkshire, a preceptory of the Knights Templar which Edward II had only very recently confiscated. She spent some four years there until March 1312 when, with the King increasingly at odds with his nobles and Bruce now raiding Northern England, she was moved down the road to the greater security of Windsor Castle. Queen Elizabeth spent the summer of 1312 at Windsor, before being moved on to Shaftesbury Abbey (Dorset) in the October, by which time the political situation in England had settled down and the Windsor household was probably required to concentrate on Queen Isabella who arrived there the following month for the birth of her eldest son.
On 24th June 1314, King Robert at last defeated the English at the Battle of Bannockburn and the enemy's commander, Humphrey de Bohun, Earl of Hereford, was captured soon afterward. Negotiations soon led to his release in return for that of Queen Elizabeth, the Scottish Princesses and the aging Bishop of Glasgow. Elizabeth returned home to take her place at the centre of Scottish political life.
Elizabeth and Robert had two daughters at this time, but no son. In 1316, the baby son of the King’s eldest daughter, Marjorie, became heir presumptive when his mother died due to complications caused by a riding accident shortly before his birth. Thus the situation remained until the Queen herself gave birth to a son, named David, at Dunfermline Palace, some eighteen years later! A second son followed but, sadly, he died in childhood.
Elizabeth died at the Royal residence of Cullen Castle on 26th October 1327, at the age of only about forty-three. Her entrails were removed during the embalming process and buried in the Church of St. Mary the Virgin there. The rest of her body was taken to Dunfermline Abbey for burial, where it was joined, eighteen months later, by her husband, King Robert.

“But also, there was the Platinum Jubilee too. Maybe something happened there - like maybe Eugenie got fed up with Harry’s tantrum about being demoted to sit “behind” her and Beatrice. I feel like that could’ve made Eugenie rethink things and then whatever happened over the summer or with the funeral, it really hammered something home for her.”
Go back to the coronation and watch Harold entering behind Jack and Eugenie. He’s just exchanged what appear to be neutral pleasantries with Beatrice and Edo who’ve reshuffled so he can walk ahead of them ( protocol be damned since he should have walked behind Beatrice as the highest status person of the group).
Anyhue, Jack and Eugenie say something to him which we don’t see, and Harold responds with a smirk then says something to Eugenie which includes physically miming her big belly - she was very pregnant - which angers her. She turns sharply to the front with her face in a mixture of rage and embarrassment while trying to pull her coat / outer garment around her as if to make her belly smaller. She never looks or talks to Harold again.
The way they procession in, Eugenie should have been seated next to Harold, but instead she takes the inside seat next to Edo so that Jack sits next to Harold. Beatrice and Edo sit down exactly as they’d walked in.
IMO, like Princess Mary with David Duke of Windsor, Eugenie kept up with Harold because she genuinely love(d) him. He is her closest male cousin in the family, and for a variety of reasons she kept in with him and showed public support, even visited him February 2022.
However, something happened in the spring - summer of 2022 so that she distanced herself. The Queen’s death in September 2022 saw ALL the cousins distance themselves from Harold.
She was papped in Miami in December 2022 and in LA in February 2023 - didn’t hope across to Montecito to see Harold unlike the previous year.
She hasn’t shown any public support to Harold or Meghan on her IG or anywhere since spring - Summer 2022.
The Sussexes keep posting that they are in touch with her or visiting her in Portugal, but there is no reciprocal confirmation.
Instead, she or her other friends post pictures of her in different cities that show she’s nowhere near the Sussexes eg Sussex send out PR articles that claim they are in Portugal possibly visiting with her, and Eugenie and friends post pictures of themselves in Lamu, Kenya and London, UK during that timeframe.
The Sussexes post pictures of themselves in the Carribean and Eugenie does the same except her pictures are from a different island and she’s surrounded by her group of friends and all their babies.
Afew months ago, BOTH Eugenie and Beatrice made a point of being publicly papped with Piers Morgan who has revealed on a few occasions that he is friends with their mother too.
This weekend, Eugenie was pointedly papped with Cressida who has publicly called Harold a bad person.
And that’s before you throw in the 2 times in as many months when she’s publicly shown that she’s with the home team now - Kate’s christmas concert and praising KC3 & William on a recent podcast she did.
I think that Eugenie, unlike Princess Mary with David Duke of Windsor, has cut Harold off.
People refuse to see the change or perhaps are skeptical because she was so public about her support.
Beatrice has never been in Harold’s corner. My guess is that she tolerates him because he is family, her sister’s favourite cousin /party buddy, and her mother included him in family time eg family vacations.
The most time Beatrice spent with him in public was during his relationship with Cressida who is a family friend and the sister of Beatrice’s best friend, Isabelle Branson. Isabella and Cressida spend alot of time together and during this relationship, Harold ended up hanging out more with Beatrice and her friends, the Bransons, and their charity Big Change.
All of that stopped when Harold and Cressida broke up.
Apart from attending their wedding, i’m not sure that Beatrice has ever acknowledged Markle in way. Similarly, Markle talks about her friendship with Eugenie, how Fergie helped her learn to curtsey, how she thought Andrew was The Queen’s servant, but not a single word about Beatrice.
*****
Really great summary, anon. I don’t think Beatrice ever cared for Meghan - I feel like the end of her relationship with Dave Clark and their subsequent breakup really opened Beatrice’s eyes to a lot and, obviously, Edo being around too certainly made a difference as well. She might have liked Meghan in the beginning because Eugenie did and Harry was her cousin, but it was short-lived.
(And I also feel like Beatrice and Harry weren’t as close as Harry and Eugenie -- Harry and Eugenie have the same chip on their shoulders for being second-born so I think they bonded more strongly over that. I don’t know that William and Beatrice had a similar ‘firstborn’ bond but they seem like they had been getting closer around Philip’s funeral. I can’t forget the way William looked at Beatrice when they were leaving at the end of Philip’s funeral - such a small thing and barely lasted two seconds, but it spoke a whole story.)
Reading this summary, especially your point of Eugenie attending the Christmas concert - reminded me of an earlier one. Maybe the 2021 concert? I don’t remember if it happened before or after the service, but most of the cousins were together and they were all greeting Kate, except Eugenie, who was getting a little bit of the cold shoulder from everyone. I wonder if this moment had anything to do with pushing Eugenie closer to the Harkles because all of a sudden, there was a lot of “Eugenie and Harry” PR and then also there she was in LA at the Superbowl.
(And yes Eugenie was very offended and upset by Harry’s gesticulations of her size at the coronation. I felt so horrible for her in that moment and you know it made her upset before they even sat down because of the way she adjusted her coat. But I bet you Harry doesn’t think he did anything wrong; if he thinks it was fine for Meghan to call out Kate’s hormones, he thought it was fine to call out Eugenie’s size.)
