The Cornwall Rose of York Bracelet

The bracelet was a wedding gift to Queen Mary from the Cornish Royal Wedding Committee with the Countess of St Germans involved. The description of the bracelet is as follows -

A diamond and ruby bracelet, the centre of which is in the shape of the Rose of York, and can be worn separately as a brooch.

Queen Mary then gave the piece of jewellery to the then Princess Elizabeth for her own wedding day in 1947.

Today marks the second anniversary of the death of Queen Elizabeth II -September 8th 2024.

Two years ago (on September 8th 2022), The late Queen died around 3pm at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
