If you think about it, the penguin custom of offering a stone as a sign of courtship is technically the same thing we do with engagement rings. "Here's a shiny rock with completely made-up value, be with me forever"

NEW BOT ALERT! — new ex babysitter!sam carpenter bot for uh. health and wealth purposes. the concept was inspired by this excellent oneshot that drives me apeshit wild.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(ex) babysitter!sam headcanons.. because i’m doin those, now. expect a lot more to come.
✗ warnings ; large age gap (sam 26, reader 18-19), nsfw at bottom. dom/sub.
an absolute sucker for you. like when you were little and you wanted something— like an extra helping of dessert or to ditch out on homework: all you had to do was pout and blink up at her with those big, pleading doe eyes and she'd cave immediately. two seconds flat, easy. now? that still hasn't changed. you have her wrapped around your finger with a single look and it drives her crazy.
would spoil you to PIECES. ofc when u she used to babysit you she would pay for everything, but even now that you're a grown adult with an (albeit low-paying) part-time job, she'd find any excuse to spoil you. just.. coming home with random gifts at any point of the week. like it could be 4pm on a thurday afternoon and she could come up behind you like "baby, you know those headphones you really wanted..? well.."
or jst going out shopping with her and you wouldnt even have to ask for her to pay because she'd be striding to the counter with her card out, already.
definitely calling you "princess". i mean, that's what you are, right? you always have been, always will.
makes her knees weak when you call her "sammy" . you'd exclusively call her it when you were a kid and despite all efforts to prevent this, now, still makes her chest collapse when you say it. and when u add the cheeky little conjunction my, in front of it? oh, boy. just know you're getting more than a good night's kiss, tonight.
she loves it when you whine or beg her for anything. like.. loves.
she just likes taking care of you in general, so anytime you go to her for anything it makes her happy which is kind of fucking adorable. but she finds you coming to her for help adorable, too, so.. win-win?
can never stay mad at you. even on days where u make it your life's mission to annoy her (its your job to keep her on her toes!) she legitimately just.. can't — and believe her, she's tried. stuck in a perpetual state of mild exasperation.
veryyy protective nd possessive . but in more subtle manners like very adamantly refusing to let you walk on the side of pavement next to the road. or always having either an arm wound around your waist or your shoulders or interlocking your fingers — anything that keeps you safe and snug by her side. she’s just so used to the feeling of protecting u and she kinda just never wants it to stop.
..nsfw!
uses the fact she used to babysit you for EVIL. in stupid ways like smirking and asking if you want her to "tuck you in" before bed, except she's straddling your chest and gently prising your mouth open with her thumb and 'tucking you in' means 'choking on her cock'.
obsessed with bouncing you on her lap. u guys cld be doing something completely innocent, like watching tv with the whole gang in the room and she'll pull u onto her lap and slowly start to rock you on her thigh, like how u used to when u were a kid. except this time, you're both grown up and her knee's sliding upwards and pressing against your cunt and oh. whispering "shh," in your ear as she continues to grind her knee up your skirt, fucking purring at all the pretty little noises you make.
actively enjoys punishing you when you get too bratty. she finds your whines adorable, of course, but if she's feeling too grouchy she's not above replacing those complaints in your mouth with you know — something more substantial.
adores praising you and calling you endearments during sex. calling you a sweet little thing and whispering soft, reverential promises into your ear as she absolutely ruins you.
cups your jaw and forces you to look at her when you suck her off. utterly obsessed with that wide, glazed-over look in your eyes whenever you're on your knees for her. the way your adorable little puppy eyes go all glassy nd sparkly w tears when she rams her hips forward and makes you sputter. cradling the back of your head and holding you there as she thrusts, cooing sweet nothings while she bruises the back of her your throat.

ND = Neurodivergent, which means anyone with a neurobiology that operates differently from what society has deemed “the norm.” (Social skills classes are most often recommended for autistic people, but not exclusively. So ND is not being used here as a stand in for “autistic” only, but in the most inclusive way possible.)
NT = Neurotypical, which means anyone with a neurobiology that operates comfortably within what society has deemed “the norm” (aka neuronormative culture).
When the people behind teaching social skills to autistic people got the idea, they were operating under the assumption that we simply didn’t have any social skills. Essentially, they thought there were holes in our programming just waiting for someone to insert the missing code that would enable us to run the “regular human” software bug-free.
However, their premise was deeply flawed, because we already have social skills. AUTISTIC social skills. So when they put us in these social skills programs, they’re actually trying to overwrite pre-existing code, not fill in some empty gaps.
Not only does this not feel very good to us, but there’s growing evidence that it’s not even all that effective. Those “skills” rarely ever become as automatic as they want them to be, we often still struggle to find real friendship, and we usually end up with low self esteem and/or social anxiety for our trouble.
Even still, there are some people who struggle to navigate neuronormative ways who would like *some* kind of help with decoding neurotypical social norms. Even if you don’t want to fully replace your own programming with theirs, it might be nice if you could at least understand it, right?
But how do you teach NT social skills without making ND people feel bad about their own set of skills? Can it even be done?
Well the neurotypical people who created the most popular social skills programs out there may not have been able to conceive of such a thing, but yes, it CAN be done - and here’s how.

One thing I dislike is the reaction when people get the info that the character they've headcanond as ND wasn't written like that. Yep DunMeshi. Instead of accepting that, but still enjoying their AU, they just get a bit snooty and say stuff like: "Well, you didn't write an autistic character on purpose, but this character is." As if their opinion and foot stomping trumps everything, and their opinion is above the creators actual intent. You can have your AU, but your AU isn't canon, no matter how often you repeat that mantra. I mean, in this case she didn't even say you can't have that vision of the character, only that he wasn't written like that.
And like… tangent, but so many traits can exist outside of being ND in a written character, just because of your inability to understand that certain behavior isn't exclusive to being ND, doesn't just hard code a character as ND. Some thing else to consider, most characters are going to be a bit different from real humans in the way they are, because that's what some writing is about. Maybe the reason you read the character as ND isn't bc they actually are written to be, but because the author cut down the character to mainly the most important bits while still retaining them as a human character within the story. If you primarily focus on specific set of personality traits that push the story forward, then of course it's gonna set a skewed imagine of what the character might be like if it was a real human being.

What's your evidence for Watts and Murdoch being autistic? (I totally agree btw)
Hello, internet stranger. Buckle up cause I've thought too hard about this.
Ok disclaimer I have not really sat down and watched the whole thing for a hot minute. Its past nine, you're just gonna have to trust me this one.
Credentials: Mega autisitc
Murdoch:
Does not understand social conventions. Like this ones pretty obvious. He doesn't understand why people keep dogs. Raises his kid in a completely non traditional way. Frequently doesn't get why people care about something that he sees as not being worth it (sports and popular trends and so forth).
Doesn't like small talk
Cares about justice NOT the law. The thing that really makes me think he's autistic is that he cares about things being just and is prepared to break the rules to do so. The main example being he lets that woman out of prison depsite the fact that he could go down for it. He turns a blind eye to Watts and lets Giles go even though they're both criminals in the eyes of the law. And on the flipside he sends George to prison because I think that's what he percieves as justice (if anyone's seen the bridge this really reminds me of Saga at the end of season 2)
Sees through hierarchy. There are so many epsiodes that play out like "I think Mr X is the killer." "But Mr x is extrememly important and influential!" "I don't care he killed her."
Interest in science and inventing. Look I know we joke about stereotypes but like, its a stereotype for a reason. He builds things with an autistic brain. He uses pattern repition through learning about previous inventions and applying them to his own devices.
Visual learner. This is not autism exclusive but he solves cases in such a unique way that it screams ND to me. Murdoch often literally builds a case. They make a joke about clue/cludo but he literally has to make the model of a house to picture where everyone is. He makes all those model of the ladies that were covered in metal. And let us not forget his famous chalk board.
Buzzkill. I say this as a long-term sufferer of leaves parties at 8:45 syndrome. He does 'boring hobbies' which autistic people often have because we don't feel the need to take up traditional ones.
Remember that scene where he attempts to read out his and Julia's book and just absolutely cannot tell that no one gives a single toss about anything he's saying.
Wears the same thing for nearly 20 years. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Refused to let his wife cut his hair because he didn't want to change from the lady who used to do it.
breather. Part 2: watts.
Cannot read social cues: Frequently insults other station house four people. Pretty sure he called someone's baby ugly but I might have hallucinated that. "You're face is symetrical." Got chucked out of station house because he didn't get on with any of them
Disregard for societal norms: doesn't feel the need to be polite or tactful with anyone or to really follow police protocol. Acts very 'improper' a lot of the time. Only got one shoe shined that one time because that was all he needed. Puts his feet on the sofa, lies on the desk and leans over tables.
Makes limited eye contact.
The man will fidget with anything: Look this is clearly a character decision from Daniel Maslany but its an autistic character decision if ever I saw one. We're talking pencils, cups, fabric, anything. If it is on the set, he will find a way to play with out. And I don't normally like to assign autistic traits onto behaviour implemented by actors but it's basically stimming at this point. I dare you to keep an eye on this man's hands for any scene and I garuntee you they will not stay still.
Disorganised, but not: He always has tiny bits of paper and whatnot in his pockets but always seems to know where everything is. organised but doesn't have to time to be tidy. Same whenever we see his flat, it's equally disorganised. as an autistic person I find things end up all over the place because I don't have the capacity to keep them in order.
Bad handwriting and can't spell
Physicality: Most autistic people will have some sort of problem with co-ordination. He walks uneavenly. He has an odd posture. I always think about that scene where he steps in sick and moves around like a dear on ice. He's clumsy, can't sit straight and has a strange posture.
can't think when being interrupted
can't focus on two things at once.
George realised he'd been possessed by aliens because he was acting normally.
pretzels: dare i say safe food. If not, they're bland, usually the same everytime and take little mental effort to consume.
Strong sense of justic: see william murdoch.
SPECIAL MENTIONS:
Dr Emily Grace: didn't become a doctor becuase she didn't want to adopt a 'cheerful bedside manor.'
Dr Julia Ogden: Married to Murdoch (like calls to like) and sees through the bullshit of victorian society.
Susannah Murdoch: has those two as parents and I have the full confidence of genetics on this one.
In conclusion:
There's probably so much more I could talk about that I just don't remember because there is a lot more of this show than most others. But anyway. Murdoch is autistic because he has to be for the show to work and becuase he often comedic-foils far too close to the sun. And Watts is autistic because there is no way on God's green earth a man who stands like that is neurotypical.
Thank you, internet stranger, I am here all week.

I love fog theory for chronic fatigue
Used to love spoon theory for it to measure amounts of energy tasks take but for several reasons I wanna drop it
Fog fits for chronic fatigue in the way that it weighs on us and gets heavier through the day
I wanna offer a new thing to combine both the measurement of energy required for a task and the increase in exhaustion over the day that can fluctuate due to many variables.
Fuel. We run on energy like vehicles, our bodies are our vehicles, tasks and trips take fuel and the less fuel we have the more exhausted we feel.
I understand some people don't feel comfortable using fuel or refering to their body as a vehicle, even though fuel is still used as a term to refer to providing energy and nutrients to a human body, so i offer a possible, more comfortable term.
A few options; power level, stamina bar, juice/charge(though it may pose a similar problem in an electrical context of use and is still pretty close to battery power which is more so used for social interaction), skill points, endurance bar/points or even just the term points/credits/provisions/supplies/stock whatever word related to something that can be quantified and exchanged/spent/used that you feel fits best.
And of course instead of knives from spoon theory, we have /ammunition/. (I feel it's a stronger term, doesn't always mean bullets as all sorts of artillery need ammunition, your rage requires ammunition not just knives)
This is physically disabled exclusive, able-bodied ND's can keep the battery and stolen spoons. As this is specifically in reference to the physically body and not mental energy. (If you argue that mental conditions affect the body and thus you feel these terms apply, congrats you're not who I'm talking about you're not able-bodied because your body is still hindered.)
Would love to see more discussion on terms I'm just offering not making anything official rn

Cut for fandom salt
The reason I get so heated about the 'Is Tech Alive/Dead' discourse is that like. It is very hard for me to explain just how pissed I would be if he was dead. Not because 'oh no a thing happened in the show that I didn't like' I'm in my fucking thirties I've dealt with shows making stupid decisions before. It's what a permadeath here in particular would mean with everything surrounding it.
It's starting a series based around getting you to want a family to reunite just to pull the rug out 2/3rds in and say 'lol dumbass they were never going to reunite.' All those themes of family and needing it to be complete? Never meant anything.
It's building up a character, intentionally making sure he's read as neurodivergent in a very clear and confirmed way, giving him multiple plotlines, and then cutting them all off without finishing any of them by taking two episodes to set up a mission that has zero plot purpose except to kill him off and then say Oh well it's stakes and consequences there had to be a price to pay for... trying to reunite the family and save their brother I guess. How dare they.
It's providing zero confirmation in story on the death, spending months upon months saying shit like 'he doesn't come back in this episode at least' and 'this was the end of mine - and that's a good thing!' and 'if you could only see who's on my screen' knowing that there's a large portion of fans genuinely upset by his death, using social media pretty much exclusively to rub our faces in the scene, and then turns out they were just stringing everyone along the whole time, he really was dead, the lack of confirmation in episode meant nothing, us playing coy and dropping hints for ten months meant nothing, fuck you for giving a shit.
It's setting up a story where the clones could be more than soldiers and then abruptly cutting it off and going on and on about how wonderful it is that he died self sacrificing as a soldier and it's what any clone would want, because this show about how all clones are individuals is actually about how they're all interchangeable and any clone would want the same thing.
It's that if Tech is dead there is not a single piece of the show, a single interaction with the fans since it happened, a single anything from anybody involved that was not set up to make ND people hope (or god forbid even feel some kind of acceptance at seeing a neurodivergent character getting treated seriously) string them along, and then punish them for it so that everyone else can coo about how mature and bold it was to kill off the autistic guy for shock value. And then they don't even fucking address it the next season because ~oh there's just no time~
And I would really prefer if a show that I have loved almost every other aspect of, that has been genuinely well written and moving, didn't randomly decide to drop every single piece of their writing ability in order to put out the most ambiguous death scene ever, fuck with their audience for ten months, and then shit on them for caring.

Okay!! I follow lots nd lots of jikook accounts here in Tumblr and most of them at some point said that " it's just theories, we only can guess they're a couple but if they turned out to be not then it's okay too" things like that...but you are one of those who basically sure like 💯 percent that they were and still a couple...even after we couldn't see them together now... even after jk singing about women in his songs..and even after that video leaked of him in his house with that mysterious woman... I just wanted to ask you..how the hell u are always so sure about them??why u never feel insecure after seeing that leaked video of him and him singing about women?? You really think and believe that there's no chance...not even 1 percent that they might not be a couple?? You really don't ever feel insecure about them?? Or you just don't tell even if u feel inside ur heart?
Gosh, anon. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then its a motherfucking duck!!!!! It's as simple as that. They talk like a couple. They move and behave like a couple. They are sexually attracted to each other and we have seen it. They flirt... and boy do they flirt... they flirt like 2 people who have seen eo naked. They blush for each other. They are way too soft for eo. They have alot of exclusive behaviour that only applies to them. And like I have said a million fucking times they are CONSISTENT!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at him. He started this shit even before they were truly a thing.
Tumblr media
Caging someone couldn't be more boyfriend if JK tried.
Anon, its not one thing its a million things. And it's the fact that after all these years they just never change. If something is true, then its consistent. They continue to do couple things to/for eo. Because its what they are. Because they kiss and fuck and love each other and R truly together and committed to eo, their behaviour will continue to remain the same. Heck, even the members behaviour towards them has been consistent!
So JK singing for women/about women means fuck all when there is so much Jikookery to consider. Mans was just doing his freaking job
Tumblr media
That video will and has always been irrelevant. Whether its him in it or not doesn't and will never matter. If he said he doesn't have a girlfriend then he doesn't have a girlfriend. Because Jimin is a dude with a penis. And he may not be manly, (his words) but he is still a man. So....why would JK have a girlfriend?
Tumblr media
Jikook is real my lovely. I just cannot see it any other way. Especially when you add in the Korean context. Then it's truly a wrap.

I finished watching Manifest a few weeks ago, so my comments are probably old but here it is. It’s not a bad ending by any means — but if the original idea was for them to be back to the day the plane landed but make the right choices then why develop all of those relationships in the last season if it wasn’t going to mean much of anything in the finale. It’s like they wanted to give the audience everything and nothing for the last season at the same time. And it sucks.
The first thing, if they wanted Zeke x Michaela to be endgame since the start, why not actually make Jared fall in love with Drea like genuinely instead of relinking his relationship with Mick, making them be happy all of Season 4 but then forcing a Drea pregnancy and ultimately get Michaela to send him away to her? I feel like Drea deserved for Jared to choose her on his own and not because Michaela said not to him. It was so lame to give them a one episode endgame that didn’t feel earned when they could’ve build to that on Season 3/Season 4. I get Mick needed to be with Jared to see what she wanted but it could’ve been done better.
I never cared about TJ nd Olive since it was weird that TJ was 18 and Olive was 12 when they first saw each other. They managed to make their relationship less creepy after the time jump since Olive was a little older and “TJ was mentally still 18” but it didn’t make it less inappropriate. I didn’t care when he left and didn’t care when he came back but I get it since he was an OG passenger but the writers were obsessed with giving Olive a love interest when most of it didn’t add anything to the plot. And at the finale, it was clear that their relationship isn’t happening (at least in a loong time) since Olive needs to be a child, as it was meant to be and in the finale they made it seem like TJ and Violet (Adult Cal!first date) might be a future thing. So, was their romance on Season 4 even necessary? And I didn’t forget the college guy they made Olive date on Season 3 for nothing.
And then there’s the Saanvi and Ben thing.
Since the very start of the series they had such chemistry. And I don’t know if that was the idea or it was just the actors but they got in each other’s personal space real quick. And then they hinted at Saanvi’s romantic feelings for Ben in one of her therapy sessions — but I was still okay with them never crossing that line & keeping it platonic. Then, Grace dies and they still didn’t go there so at that point I thought they were going to keep it platonic but then they did made it canon and emphasized on how strong their connection is to the point they don’t feel it with anyone else — and a physical attraction they themselves are very aware of. And not just them but even Mick notices too. And they act on that attraction. Saanvi is Ben’s intellectual soulmate and best friend, in canon. He would trust her with his life in a heartbeat and viceversa. For about 6 years, they were each other’s confidants. And so, the show makes it canon but then backtracks and goes “but they still love their other partners and would go back to them” and that would be fine since it’s fair but here’s the thing with all that:
In the finale, they landed the day they were all supposed to land but now with some different perspective and experiences to make certain choices about their lives. They [the passengers] got to have and remember those experiences, not the people in their life. Ben, Saanvi, Mick are canonically different people from what they were — which is not true for the people in their life. Grace and Ben were at the verge of divorce before the plane — so magically that’s gonna be resolved now since Ben got to live a life where he loses her but she doesn’t even remember? The issues in Grace and Ben’s marriage won’t exist now that Ben knows Cal will be cured? Okay. Will Alex truly leave her husband and committ to an exclusive relationship with Saanvi? Because that was their issue as well.
And you want to tell me neither of those women will notice that there’s this connection between Ben and Saanvi that seems way too deep for two people that just met on a 4 hour flight? I don’t know about Alex but will Grace not feel threatened by this inexplicable bond and would they ever be able to fully be happy with their partners if they aren’t honest about all the experiences they shared together and some that would even count as emotional cheating? Like, we saw during the finale how Ben was so not ready to lose Saanvi. And it’s not like Saanvi will be away from their new life, she will be Cal’s doctor and will be in their life the same way she was in their old life. Grace and Ben were able to fix their relationship before because the callings were affecting Cal since she understandably didn’t believe Ben at first but now Cal doesn’t remember either. Then, she got pregnant and that gave their relationship a new propose but now nothing guarantees that their relationship will turn out the same way without those heavy circumstances. I’d like to think both Saanvi and Ben needed the chance to be with them the way it was supposed to be and see if it’s actually going to work out but I don’t think it will because 2023 Grace and Alex are still their 2018 selves while Ben and Saanvi are not.
The situation is different from Mick because neither Jared or Zeke have memories of what went down — she’s the only one that got to have a future with both of them and choose which one she wanted. That whole journey allowed her to understand that Jared and her might want different things from life and they would only get marry to fill a void — and she knows there’s other people that will align more with what they’d want for the future. It makes sense that she didn’t went back to what she was going to do before the plane dissapear. So, it doesn’t make sense for Ben or Saanvi to go back to their old life without thinking there won’t be any changes with their entire dynamic.

i do love pecco but i don’t think we are in the most competitive era of motogp…. only one bike is able to win, and there’s some really excellent riders on the other manufacturers bikes who i think would be able to step to pecco a little more if they weren’t on tractors! not saying he doesn’t deserve it but i think it’s fair to say that at least some of his success comes from the bike. its motorsports! that’s what happens, and its normal
Hi ;) Well, maybe I didn't explain myself super well, but I can't deny that having the best bike gives an advantage in motorsports. My problem is with people acting like that's the only reason pecco wins. In Moto3, he won with a bike worse than a current Honda, and his years in Moto2 ;)..also even if you have the best bike, you need to be really good to get the most out of it. Just look at Enea and Martín – they could or should, have similar results, maybe not the exact same numbers because they've had individual problems (injuries, fewer years in the class, etc.), but they should be able to perform at the same level and achieve consistent wins, which they can't. Not because they aren't good – they are – but because Pecco is better ;)
As for the most competitive era, I base that on things that many journalists have said, but of course, it's a personal opinion. So for me It's more competitive now because, in the past, satellite teams didn't receive the same factory support or equipment that Ducati does now and cause of that other teams are following their operating model. Back then, it was common for the number 1riders, like Valentino or Marc, to get better parts or exclusive upgrades that other riders didn't. So even within official teams, there was division. Pecco doesn't have that super advtege like beyond his long-standing relationship with his team th maybe a factor but Martín, Enea, and others get the same treatment when it comes to tec nd materials. That's why many say it's so competitive or balanced. Yes, it's the best bike, but even so, there are four riders with access to the same technical-material support. And until last year, older bikes were still performing at a high level at the start of the season and didn't fall too far behind by the end. That's why I feel this way ;)

Okay I wasn't planning on talking about it, but I think I will anyway: I don't think ADHD should be reanamed. The current name is accurate enough and changing it would just harm awareness.
I've heard people say "oh we have to get rid of the 'disorder' part, we're not disordered we're neurodivergent!", first of all 'disordered' and 'neurodivergent' are not mutually exclusive, in fact most ND people are disordered, and second of all, we are disordered, though? Even in a perfect world where my ADHD is perfectly accommodated, I still can't get anything done because of executive dysfunction. I still forget important things all the time. I still get genuinely suicidal from rejection because of RSD. I still ruin relationships because I get too caught up in hyperactivity/inattention to obey social cues. Yes, there are good parts to ADHD, but I am still disabled and I am still disordered.
There's also the argument of "oh but we aren't actually deficit in attention" and while that is true, the term 'attention-deficit' still isn't completely inaccurate, because we do have a deficit in regulating attention and that's where the symptoms come from. The term 'attention-deficit' describes it well enough, I don't see the point of changing the entire name of the disorder when it's not exactly inaccurate.
The final one I hear is "but not all of us are hyperactive! there's ADHD-I people too!" and I've talked about this before, but ADHD-I people do experience hyperactivity, it's just more internalized. And their nervous system is still hyperactive, which again is where the symptoms come from. There's nothing inaccurate about the H part at all.
Changing the name just because one part of it isn't as accurate as it could be is ridiculous, especially when the name ADHD is so recognizable. It'd just make awareness even harder. It's already a nightmare trying to get people to stop using 'ADD', it's gonna be even worse if we tried to phase out 'ADHD' too.
Unless the name of a disorder is seriously inaccurate or harmful to the people with it, changing it is not helpful at all and is actually quite counterintuitive. It made sense with, for example, MPD to DID (because DID is not a personality disorder, and alters are separate states of consciousness and not separate personalities), but with ADHD there's no reason to change it. Focus on things that will actually help us, please.

Concerning Star Wars Outlaws
Tumblr media
People might not know, but I am a huge Star Wars fan. In fact, I think I might love it even more than Sonic The Hedgehog, and that’s saying something! So when I heard Ubisoft were giving us a game where you can explore different planets AND fly through the galaxy far, far away, you’d better believe I was excited!
I’ll just get my three biggest problems out of the way now. First of all, the game is slow to start. So slow in fact that Ubisoft have given gamers a in-game gift as well as an apology. Secondly, it’s buggy. In the week that I’ve had the game, enemies and NPCs have been appearing in different spawn points (whether that’s by design or not is in question), and it’s crashed on me four times. Finally, Kay herself. The way she’s written didn’t sit well with me, that she only cares about herself, Nix (her furry little pal) and ND-5 (the Commando droid in the trench coat). Then again, I may not be used to playing as an outlaw…
The gameplay itself is nothing that hasn’t been done before. Ground combat felt like a mix of Battlefront and the Batman Arkham games, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Space combat felt exactly like it did in a previous Ubisoft game, Starlink: Battle for Atlas (that game with the Switch-exclusive Star Fox content), so it felt familiar at the very least. I may also have developed an addiction to playing Sabacc. It’s strangely relaxing for me… as long as I have the credits to spare…
Music is very much like an experience from the movies and Disney+ shows, which is good. Story was all right too, despite the problem I mentioned previously. And despite getting spoiled for a character in a YouTube thumbnail, it didn’t ruin the twist at the end of the game, which I did NOT see coming!
In conclusion, I might be biased, but I have legit enjoyed my time with Star Wars Outlaws. I hope that Ubisoft continue to patch the game, especially with what’s to come in the season pass. Now if anyone wishes to disagree with me, I’ll be exploring the galaxy… or playing more Kessel Sabacc. - Todd

hey, we are a udd system with mixed origins including endogenic, where do we fall here? you say this is safe for us because we have udd, but then tell us to dni because we are endogenic-mixed origin system, think really really hard about that for a minute and make it make sence
Hi there, sorry I didn't see this sooner. We often go about a week between being on Tumblr.
We simply have the stance that endogenic or any other form of origin outside of trauma isn't possible.
Now, I want to clarify that we don't mean that in the sense of "every alter is exclusively formed from trauma" because that isn't true. Not developing into a single cohesive identity is a result of trauma, but after that point, alters can split or fuse for many many reasons. Could it be from new trauma? Yeah. But it can happen from stress, new situations no current alters can handle or deal with, big life events or change (even good big things can have an impact on one's mental health).
I don't know if what I said above is relevant to you, but I have seen people who are Endo (or something under that umbrella) claim they're not fully traumagenic because not every alter is formed as a result of trauma, and I also said it because I don't want anyone to think that we believe that.
Our blog is not a hate blog, we don't often engage in discourse, we do not go out of our way to attack anyone or insult, or try and tell them things that's not our place to do and is very inappropriate (like when people go onto Endo blogs and insist they must have trauma, that's not appropriate when there's a chance someone could have trauma memories blocked out)
And we NEVER knowingly engage with blogs in which we are a part of their DNI in any capacity. It's only ever happened on accident.
So I just ask you in the most kind way possible to just move on. Our DNI is built how it is for a reason, even outside of our general beliefs. We are not in the situation or the headspace to have anyone try and change our minds. We believe in the science and as it stands, trauma is the only reason for this... But I guess I should add another "however" here.
We do believe that there are other factors that can likely contribute to a system being formed. This is not the same as having another origin. There are certain things that can influence the way people process traumas. I believe being neurodiverse or having mental health issues from a young age can influence this, and I vaguely remember this being "kinda" studied but it hasn't been studied enough. If a child struggles with emotional regulation and forming healthy attachments as a result of being ND, I can see traumas having even more of an internalized impact. I believe in the possibility that someone who's, for lack of better word "delayed" in brain development could potentially develop did/osdd/etc. At a slightly later age than what's typical.
I hope this helps. Sorry that it's a long response. I know that there's lots of blogs that welcome you, and I hope you're able to find the best ones for you.

What makes Webby Vanderquack from Ducktales 2017 the autistic girlie ever of all time? Here's what the people have to say:
Tumblr media
- This thread by @autie-j Webby-related asks/reblogs: x This post will be updated after each round!
Image ID in alt text and under the readmore.
[Image ID. White slide with a screenshot of Webby on the left, she has her hands on her hips and her eyes are sparkling. There is a text box next to her which reads,
"from op: i'm autistic and she's literallyyyy me it's not even funny. the whole McDuck family is nd but Webby really hits home for me because she is stereotypically femme and completely a rough 'n tumble weirdgirl, finally these two things don't have to be mutually exclusive!! the episode where Webby first meets Lena is what really drove home for me that she's probably meant to be autistic - Lena's dry humour and sarcastic tone clash with Webby's strong sense of morality and her optimistic outlook on life, but she WANTS to understand and form genuine connections with her peers. webby loves history and her fixation for most of the show is uncovering McDuck family secrets. she's really bad at lying and truly doesn't understand why anyone would lie/be mean on purpose because that conflicts with her rigid worldview. she loves pink, and studying weapons and dark magic, and is SOOO excited to have her first sleepover when she makes friends with other ND girlies. just, everything." End ID.]

Autistic Anime Girls Group 2 Match 21

Miriel -
"she's one of the oldest people in the main cast which i respect. she's also a Wizard Scientist except she wants to study EVERYTHING. she is utterly fascinated by even the most basic social behaviours and most of her conversations with other characters revolve around her desire to study them. Yes, in the event she gets married, she has a kid as part of an experiment, and her son is exactly as nd as she is. She wants to study a guy because he is somehow perfectly average. She wants to study someone to understand flirting. She wants to study a dark wizard to see if they can magick a baby (yes this is how her son is born if she marries the dark wizard.) On that note, her son directly asked to dissect someone once. Other people have trouble understanding what she says, she gets so absorbed in her studies that other people need to snap her out of it so she'll go eat dinner, and one of her favorite hobbies is reorganizing her belongings. She is so utterly oblivious to proper decorum yet so deeply intrigued by the human condition that I'm skeptical she wasn't raised exclusively inside a library. She is a mad scientist constrained by lack of chemistry as an established field AND by being a side character instead of major antagonist. But I love her. She got that wide brimmed hat and a really good defense stat for a mage."

"she is so cute and is always hyperfixating on her work and forgetting that she is. a person. which is a thing that i, as an autistic person, also do so she is obviously also autistic. everyone vote for anzu if you love trans sapphics <3"
