Yeah unhealthy is the right word. It would feed Hajime's complex, Iroha's dependency, and Chiaki's lust apparently since we find out one of the reason she's fine creating the cuddle puddle. Plus who knows how it would effect the rest of the poly.

That being said my own thoughts if Iroha joined the cuddle puddle she'd still have growth just not the one we see in ASOOT proper..maybe learning how get along with the other girls?

Rune factory Guardians of Azuma

alrighty so this is gonna be a little lengthy because a lot was shown recently! however I'm typing on my tablet which is dying as I type and the sites won't load, forgive me for image sizes as I can't make them smaller.

first off, here's the new rune factory guardians of azuma trailer. accompanied with a release date of May 30, 2025. the game alone is 60$ USD while the limited edition is 100$ USD.

I'll get into characters in a minute, but we are seeing town building as well as being allowed to pick NPCs jobs (im assuming they're just store running NPCs with no storyline). and the trailer kind of gives pokemon graphics with genshin inspired mechanics. some mechanics also remind me of Pokemon legends Arceus. Keep in mind this is a sideline game, if I remember correctly they are working on 6, a mainline game. They are trying a totally new formula with this game and farming will still be included but not a main focus.

It seems there will be 2 romance routes locked behind dlc, and for the first time in a long time, the mcs will have their own distinctive personalities and the opposite of you pick will be romanceable.

Story: The Celestial Collapse — a calamity caused by a colossal object crashing into the eastern lands known as Azuma. The devastating impact sent fragments of terrain to the skies above and the seas below. With the earth shattered, the power provided by the runes ceased to flow. The gods of nature vanished soon after. Mountains crumbled and fields withered, leaving the people with nothing…not even hope. You awaken, startled by a dream of dueling dragons. You don’t remember how or why, but a voice resonates within you. "Accept the power of an Earth Dancer. Use this power to save the land.” Thus begins your lengthy journey to restore the gods…

Subaru (male mc) and Kaguya (fem mc)

Left his cold village in the northern part of Azuma on a mission to save the land. Childhood friends with Kaguya, who hails from the same hometown. Usually relaxed and easy-going. Enjoys gazing at the sky. While generally not a fan of battle, he has a strong sense of justice, and will fight fiercely to protect his friends and loved ones.

The owner of Iroha's Teahouse in Spring Village. A friendly, caring young woman who dreams of revitalizing Spring Village and returning it to its former glory.

Murasame (they beefed him down in game sadly)

A samurai who wanders Azuma with the goal of becoming the world's greatest swordsman. Master of the Munen Muso sword style, which means "free from empty thoughts." Spends his days training and keeping his sword in good condition.

Hina

A half-human, half-fox were-animal who arrives in Azuma on an airship with Mauro. Claims to be an archaeologist. Childhood events instilled her with a strong desire to help others.

Mauro

A self-proclaimed treasure hunter from a foreign land who came to Azuma by airship in search of a legendary treasure. This sentimental soul is easily moved to tears.

Ulalaka

Azuma's kind, gentle god of spring and merriment. Her benevolence knows no bounds, and she simply wants everyone to live happy, peaceful lives.

Matsuri

Azuma's carefree god of summer and swords. Enjoys physical activities of all kinds. Despite being a master of the blade, she tends to solve problems with brute force instead.

“When you think of those fantasies of Iroha…” He paused, unsure how to put this in the correct way. “Do you ever, uh, wonder if maybe you're… projecting a little?“

what it says on the tin (though it's just mayu and satoru hanging out and talking about iroha)

“Gosh just imagine Iroha's soft hands and gentle smile as she brings me into her embrace, my heart threatening to beat out of my chest. It could be- No, it has to be love! I can see it now,” Mayu cooed as she ran a brush through Yuki's fur. The cat was out like a light after getting to play with a new toy that her owner had gotten her earlier that day. Which may have had a dash too much catnip in it.

“Mayu?” Satoru poked his head around to the girl who seemed so enthralled by her fantasy and was maybe brushing a little too fast.

It wasn't often the two of them spent time alone. Iroha often acted as the glue which kept the two of them from being more than just mere acquaintances. Aside from, of course, the other glaring reason which Satoru begrudgingly acknowledged. Mayu, perceptive as ever, had somehow been the only one to pick up on Satoru's feelings for his childhood friend. He had tried to make it as subtle as he possibly could and up until recently he was convinced he'd take the secret to his grave.

That was until Mayu entered the picture. He hadn't had any strong opinions when they had first met. She seemed shy and easily flustered around his crush yes, but he always figured that's how she was with any positive social interaction. The rush of dopamine making her brain short circuit. But this, this gave him a moment's pause.

“When you think of those fantasies of Iroha…” He paused, unsure how to put this in the correct way. “Do you ever, uh, wonder if maybe you're… projecting a little?“ Satoru's voice had trailed off to a whisper and at this point Mayu had stopped brushing altogether.

“I…”

“Augh, I'm sorry! Forget I said anything it was rude of me to speculate about that,”

“It's ok, It's ok! I just um-“ Mayu began to trip over her words as the two of them began to stumble through the conversation, anxiety reaching critical levels that caused Yuki to stir in her sleep.

“I mean I'm cool with that kind of thing if so.”

“Really? I just don't want you to think I'm any kind of competition! I know she only likes me as a friend. I don't want to bother her…” There was a pause after this as the two realized the deja vu that sentiment stirred in them.

Satoru felt it settle like a pit in his stomach the size of the mirror stone. How were they supposed to continue with what they were initially planning? Mayu's idea was to help him confess to Iroha but how could now when he knew how she felt?

“Mayu? Would you uh, want to try doing makeup on me?” Satoru asked. In all honesty he had doubts this would work at all but it seemed to at least bring her back to earth.

“Oh, Satoru you don't have to-”

“I want to! I- I mean I've always been curious to at least get my nails done. But it's not like something I've really thought about a lot or anything,” Satoru finished.

It didn't take long for Mayu to get to work after that and in her locked in trance it seemed she completely distract herself from the conversation before. Satoru silently thanked himself from remembering that little quirk of hers as she began to apply his blush. She went through the process in such a methodical and streamlined way Satoru could barely wrap his head around it. She seemed to do it so effortlessly and there was something in the back of his mind that wished it came to him to.

When Mayu had finally finished the sun had descended far enough to cast the entire room in a vibrant orange glow. As she slowly came out of her trance she seemed to have been taken aback as she moved a locke of hair out of her friend's face. Both were lucky the low light of the sunset hid each other's blush.

“Wow, I-” Satoru started. “Thank you for doing this Mayu, if anything I think Iroha would be missing out for not dating a girl like you.”

Heya, sorry for bothering you. I just curious about how to looking for a Oreca Battle or Oren related stuff, like comic or guide. Also do you have any tips about those two games?

You're just in time, currently they have uploaded all 5 Oreca Battle Manga Titles (Including the spin-off) on CoroCoro (Japanese only), some episode are free to read but you also need to use points to read some chapter, I highly recommend you to create a CoroCoro account because it'll give you 1000 Points for free (you can also get points by login to CoroCoro Everyday)

Unfortunately, all of the last chapter/episodes of each manga are locked behind paywall and not points/Free.

One thing to keep in mind is that the manga storyline are different than the one in the arcade version (in which I personally considered the arcade as the true story), while the spin-off are non-canon

MagiReco/Premiere Nebula EoS Crossover Story!

In the infinite cosmos of the universe, Iroha Tamaki had felt shockwaves rippling across the Record all day. Whatever a day still meant to a goddess, at least. Homura Akemi had finally abandoned this timeline for the next, and as long as that was the case, Iroha could no longer directly interfere. She could appear to other magical girls in visions, sure, but other than that, this realm was being locked off even beyond her influence now. It wouldn't be completely deleted, as a goddess beyond even herself kept it as her greatest treasure, but it would, to continue the metaphor, still go offline.

Iroha had steeled herself for such an end in the weeks leading up to the time jump but it was still...hard. Today, the final day before the event, was to be her last contact with many of the magical girls she held dear, and she'd spent most of it flitting from Puella Magi to Puella Magi, summoning them when necessary or letting them come directly to her. The holes in the timeline that Homura's jumps created, Touka had attempted to explain, allowed girls to find her in seemingly impossible ways.

And yet even then, the figure that'd appeared beside her was little short of a shock to her. If Iroha didn't know better, she would've assumed it was another goddess who'd just ascended, with its impossibly long wavy black hair, toga, and flaming blue wings. But it was just another magical girl, albeit one that wasn't supposed to interfere in this universe.

Not that Valka had ever really cared much about trifles like rules.

"So you actually went and did it," Valka started. "An automatic purification system for all magical girls, powered solely by your own magic. Color me impressed."

From the short amount of time Iroha had known the other magical girl, she could never quite be certain when, or if, Valka was truly being genuine with her words. She'd come from a place even more strategy-minded than Kamihama, and could just as easily propose an alliance as a compliment.

"It's a bit more complicated than that," replied Iroha, "but yes. It's been working well for us. We can finally live in hope, without having to hurt anyone for it. I finally feel like our struggles are over."

Valka simply gave a sad smile towards her fellow faction leader and stared out towards the skies. Whether by some coincidence of fate or completely intentionally, Iroha noticed the Actress's blue eyes moving towards the nebula that gave her own faction its name.

"Ours are only beginning, I fear. Now that Witches are out of the game, humans will have to find other ways to harness magical energy. Your plan will work in the end, and entropy will be countered with Doppels alone, but the Manufacturer doesn't know that. Likely, as magical girl contracts become a thing of the past, he'll decide to ramp up Actress production."

Even with the gentle tone in her voice reassuring Iroha that such a result wasn't her own fault, the possibility still shook her to her core. Valka's home country, Olympia, had found a way to create magical girls without a contract. They were kept inside facilities solely as weapons or left to rot until they became Witches, with no true quality of life at all. Some had even been subject to brutal experiments that made them less like the magical girls Iroha knew and more like energy vampires.

"No! Surely he knows more harm will come of that than--"

"I'll make sure he does," spoke Valka in the clipped voice of a soldier. "I'll make sure he never gets the chance to. But that's why...I can't pass on to the other world with you. I have to go back. You may not ever see me again, so listen up."

Out of all the words Iroha expected to come out of Valka's mouth, the last ones she expected were "thank you."

"F-for what? We barely even know each other!"

"Stelle hasn't had a flareup in weeks. Whatever you did works on Actresses too. Kamihama really is a place where all magical girls can be saved. I just wanted to make sure you knew that."

For probably the fourth time today, and certainly not the last, Iroha could feel tears welling up in her incorporeal eyes.

"Being a magical girl of hope is hard. I'd almost lost faith in it myself when I first came to Kamihama. But you were always there to rally the troops when the chips were down. Seeing you do that...it made me want to become a better leader to my own magical girls."

With another slight tilt of her head, Valka noticed the wormhole opening nearby her, beckoning her to her own world. A world that still needed protecting, one that not even Iroha could interfere with.

A world that, even so, she had absolute faith that Valka could save.

"Do you think we'll see each other again?" asked Iroha as the portal grew larger and larger.

"Who knows?" replied Valka. "What I do know is I'll be thinking of you this whole time. Keep making a better world for your kind, and I'll keep making one for mine. And if our paths do decide to cross..."

She crossed through the portal one final time, her wings sparkling like stars.

"I'll catch you on the other side, Tamaki-san."

Wonderful Precure Episode 22 Review - Dog Training

This episode mainly revolves around dog training and how to bond with dogs. It really reminded me of Dog Signal as it’s an anime that revolves around dog training. Other than that, it’s mainly a feel-good low stakes episode where the Precures do cute things.

I think it’s also an episode where Iroha could possibly think about her future. She just lives life peacefully, but does she have any future aspirations? Probably not. Seeing what her dog trainer acquaintance Inuzuka does could be a potential career path for her. Iroha does seem to have potential as a dog trainer, but who knows? Also, Inuzuka’s hairstyle makes her have a huge resemblance towards Bachira from Blue Lock.

You’d assume Komugi would be good at dog training since she’s so energetic and being able to transform into a human would have increased her intelligence, Unfortunately, turning into a human did not improve her IQ as she still had a dog’s intelligence but she’s also hyperactive that causes her to become scatterbrained. So no, she’s not excellent at dog sports, but that’s to be expected as she’s just a regular dog and not one trained for dog show purposes. However, I did like that Inuzuka knew that Komugi wasn’t used to commanding words, so she told Iroha to use words that Komugi would be familiar with.

I do like how Yuki’s just not impressed with Komugi at all. She mainly spends the episode being snarky and unamused towards her antics. I do like that she is utilizing the Kirarin Animals a lot better than the dog duo. The Panda’s move turns out to be glasses that can shoot out circular hypnotic beams. I also noticed she got a new human transformation animation. Before it was just her looking all grumpy when transforming from cat to human. Now, it looks like she’s being all cool.

Other than that, there’s not much in this episode, so I’ll keep this review short. Satoru brought Daifuku and it’s been a while since we saw the rabbit. I wonder if Daifuku will have a part to play in this story later on. What are your thoughts for this episode?

Komugi was walking in front of Iroha. Iroha was holding her leash while Satoru was by her side, carrying Daifuku inside his basket.

"Komugi... We're just walking like we always do..."

"E-eeeh?!?! Why??? You said yesterday that you went on a date with Satoru and you two walked around town. What's the difference ~wan?!?"

Iroha and Satoru quickly got embarrassed and their faces turned red. Satoru adjusted his glasses nervously while Iroha was twirling a lock of hair around her finger.

"What's the matter ~wan? You both are acting funny!!" Komugi started laughing out loud.

"N-nothing, K-Komugi-chan..."

"Y-yeah, nothing is happening!!" Iroha said, faking a laugh to change the subject.

Sooo I was reading about the Nijiue siblings from one of your latest posts and got curious.

How do they all feel towards Iroha?

That depends? In the Student out if time Au/story blog they manage to fix their relationship and free the other 3 from the Nijiue parents but if we're taking a route close to canon things aren't that great amongst them :(

Hitaru has always tried to help her siblings in any way she can, she was essentially their caretaker figure since Ayato and Emina never bothered much with parenting. So she obviously cared and worried about Iroha a lot, just as she did for her other siblings, but due to the parents always piling her up with work and try to set her up with a suitor as she's the oldest daughter Hitaru didn't got to spend as much time with her siblings as she wished she could and before she knew it Iroha had dissapeared. She was greatly upset over her dissapearance and even tried to look for Iroha in certain occasions, but was punished by her parent's for "putting her duties as a Nijiue aside" and as the years went by she sorta lost hope that they could ever find her again, even tho deep down she always wished she could see her just one more time.

Jiro went through the same abuse as Iroha whn he was younger, being locked up in a room and forced to draw 24/7 until deemed enough for the Nijiue family standards, so he had a lot of empathy towards her and wished he could have done something to help her in that situation but because Jiro was so anxious and terrified of his parents he never did. When Iroha dissapeared he blamed himself for not standing up for her as her older brother and always assumed the worst must have happened to her when she vanished so he never actively tried to look for her like Hitaru did.

Akemi is.. Sorta the problem child of the family, ignored and highly criticized by the parents she seeked approval of for so long to the point it made her resent them and want to find a way to expose it escape from there grasp with her siblings of who she didn't have the best relationship with, she tends to be pretty mean to Jiro and gets annoyed at Hitaru for being a doormat for so long, but she did genuinely love them and wanted to see them grow a spine and fight back agaisnt their abusers. She butted heads with Iroha the most, as the two were always competing and getting on each other's case, but when Iroha ran away Akemi developed a strong admiration for her for being brave enough to leave their horrible situation, even if she did leave them all behind.

She always wanted to meet her again and see the kind of person her little sister became, but that never happened because Akemi died around the end in the tragedy after surviving a good chunk of the apocalypse alongside Jiro and Hitaru after their house was raided and the parents killed.

Akemi was partiality crushed by debris of a collapsing building, while her siblings did try to take the wreckage off of her and get her out of there, given the extent of her injuries there really wasn't much they could do to save her at that point. She passed away next to the two people she loved the most in her short life and although her siblings were deeply upset over her death, they took it upon themselves to follow her wishes and move foward instead of sulking in despair.

Hitaru and Jiro were later found and brought to the Kisaragi foundation where they were offered shelter as long as one of them worked there, so Jiro joined Rei's division while Hitaru was recovering from losing their sister since she took it the hardest. She still doesn't work there in the current time even tho she is doing a lot better, but she does visit the place frequently and chats often with her brother, Minako and Midori.

After the events of Sdra2 they are told of everything that happened to Iroha, including her involvement with setting up the Utsuroshima killing game and ties with Mikado and void. Needless to say, neither of them were happy with that information, learning that your little sister became a terrorist responsible for the deaths of several people is a horrifying revelation tht leads to both Hitaru and Jiro disowning her.

While neither of them like Iroha anymore, Jiro dislikes her significantly more than Hitaru as he sees her as no different from their parents now; a self-centered vile human being willing to hurt and throw others under the bus if it means she gets to come out on top. While Hitaru has developed a level of disdain for her, as much as she dislikes Iroha and what she became Hitaru is as sad as she is angry because she still sees her beloved little sister in her despite everything Iroha has done, i feel like part of her blames herself for Iroha turning out like this too. It hurts for her to be around Iroha, but she did visit her in her cell a couple times before Iroha an Syobai escaped from the foundation.

With the two on the run, Jiro does his best to help Tsurugi's division locate their whereabouts, as he wants nothing more than bring Iroha to justice, while Hitaru just wishes Iroha would take responsibility for once and turn herself in.

Ahhh I love everything about this episode. Yuki social media influencer arc was short lived but great nonetheless. Hopefully we see more of her on curesta to promote pretty holic lol

I was wondering when we would see Chiran again after that flashback arc from earlier in the season and this was such a good way of bringing her back in and solving things with Mayu. It’s a testament to how much Yuki has grown as a character that instead of covering Mayu being alone and on bad terms with Chiran, she actively pushes her to fix things and literally chase after her. Iroha and Komugi have really changed her! Also, Mayu being so locked in to writing an apology to Chiran that she didn’t notice her right in front of her was hilarious

I know you’re not supposed to root for the villain and it was messed up what she did to Kosetsu, but.. I’m really loving Zakuro lol. She’s so pretty and a nice opponent for the girls. Fight wasn’t as good as last week, but I’ll never get tired of the girls’ new power up.

Love the ending so much, Mayu and Chiran making up so that’ll be nice to hopefully have Chiran around more.. but SORA IS BACK NEXT WEEK?!!! Can it be Saturday already please

"this is why you should have taken history" niki spoke to y/n, as they made their way to art class. niki chose his classes based on the common conception on 'which class is easy' and he was doing great. but y/n chose - most of them - based on what she wanted to study, and chemistry was very important to be a doctor in absolutely everyone's opinion.

"at least i have this class to balance my grades" she sighed, and then groaned "who am i kidding, i suck at art" she dragged herself inside classroom 06, where some students were already in. break had just started but no one wanted to be late.

"good morning mr. park" they both greeted the teacher, who was sitting on his desk at the front of the classroom, organizing some papers. he didn't look up, but only greeted them back.

niki sat on his desk - which had the other half occupied by his seat mate - it was the row diagonally behind y/n, both choosing the hallway seats.

y/n's seat mate was iroha, she was previously friends with her and that's how she met wonhee. but their friendship broke off years ago for some reason, though the three were still on good terms.

"okay class, let's start" mr. park said, as soon as the bell rang. he stood up and went to close the door, as some quick students made it in before he left them outside.

he then walked over to the front again. "i want you all to start sketching something until i tell you to stop, anything you want, the first thing your small mind can think of" he said, being met with students sitting still. "do i need to send you guys an invitation to take out your sketchbooks or?" he trailed off.

y/n instantly took out her materials, as did the rest. she flipped to the second page of the sketchbook, and got her pencil ready, starting a weird shape on the paper.

she was aiming to draw a cute gold fish, but it wasn't looking so cute, nor gold fish-y. it looked more like a bicycle seat.

"stop, everyone, hands off the table" mr. park interrupted, as the sound of pencils drawing stopped.

he walked to some tables, observing the sketches. "nice, i can tell some of you are really talented.. and some of you took this class because you thought it would balance your grades right?" he shook his head, and sneaking a look at y/n.

"now, switch books with your seat mate, and try to complete their drawing the best you can" he instructed.

for the next fifteen minutes, y/n tried as hard as she could to not ruin hers or iroha's drawing, but it seemed to not be working since niki was laughing at her every time she went to switch the notebooks.

"that looks like shit" niki threw an eraser at y/n, making her turn back to him with a scowl. "i'm gonna shove your eraser so far up your ass you will feel it in your brain" she turned back around to her work, ruining it more.

niki's desk mate wanted to laugh at the comment. hanni had never spoken with the girl, but she had seen her around a lot. she was one of the girls in school that she would 100% date if they asked her out, but the possibility of that happening was 0%.

hanni recalled the tiny crush she'd had years ago, back when they were still in the same classes. it all started in gym class, in the chaos of the locker room, when she realized she had no idea how to tie her shoelaces. her mom had always bought her those velcro shoes. y/n had noticed her struggling and came over without a second thought. she knelt down and took over, patiently explaining the bunny method.

but hanni couldn't focus on the instructions, her gaze was locked onto y/n's face, mesmerized by the way her eyes sparkled with kindness. all the words melted away, replaced by a rush of warmth that made hanni forget everything except the girl in front of her.

though that small 8th grade crush was long forgotten, hanni had learned how to have female friends without getting tangled up in feelings. if anything, y/n could be a solid friend or at least an acquaintance, if they ever actually talked.

y/n was the definition of social butterfly, effortlessly connecting with everyone around her. she wouldn't need to reach out to hanni for anything. if she wanted to chat with a female friend, she had wonhee, and for the guy side, there was niki. y/n had contacts everywhere, and people seemed to line up for a chance to help her out. she was just too much of a "friend crush" for everyone, and hanni couldn't help but feel a little overshadowed by that. she had always wondered how it would feel to be someone like that.

but for now, hanni was totally fine with just watching from afar people like that, smirking a bit as she saw y/n trying to draw a kangaroo. it was a total mess, and y/n's dramatic complaints when mr. park told them to switch books were hilarious. GODDD I AGREE I LOVED THIS EPISODE!! The build up of Yuki's hostility towards Komugi and Iroha over the course of these past episodes was SOOO perfectly planned and paced I love it!!

I also love them point blank saying "Yuki is more like an older sister to Mayu" bc it reinforces her whole idea of "I must protect Mayu", and Yuki's reaction confirms that yes, that's how she views it!

Her view of Komugi and Iroha is really interesting, too, it's basically, "Why would I work together with you? I just want to protect Mayu! You put her in danger. I don't want you associating with her anymore." What makes this so interesting is that like... In my opinion, Mayu willingly gets into these situations. At any point, she could go with Satoru to a safer area, but she doesn't. I guess you could say Yuki more views them as bad influences, or she's just so locked in on protecting Mayu that she doesn't realize Mayu's perspective.

Maybe that's what's being discussed next week 👀 Thou I can see Iroha feeling a bit guilty of causing Mayu to be in danger as well. Komugi, probably not so much, she's a puppy lol. But she might understand Iroha's feelings and thus start feeling the same way? Maybe?

WIP Wednesday survey for the Kamihama Cyber Sleuth pilot

How did your story idea come to you? -That would be Abarero's Kamihama Ultra Beast Files from the first minibang! I was in a Digimon phase at the time and I thought to myself "Eaters are kinda like Witches/Uwasa like they're saying for the Ultra Beasts, and Mother Eater could basically be Embryo Eve", so I was compelled to come up with a Digimon counterpart to that fic.

What’s been your favorite part to write so far? -Not something I've actually written yet, but the scene with Iroha getting her Kazemon lives rent-free in my head because it's so funny.

Do you have a character you really enjoy writing? Which one and why? -Remember how I projected onto Iroha the first few times her Doppel showed up? Get ready for more of that~

What’s been the hardest part to write? -Realizing that where I wanted to go with this subplot made more sense with Felicia, but I only had a couple days left so I had to lock it in. Not to mention having to write in a rush without it feeling rushed.

What part are you most looking forward to writing? -Literally the entire rest of the fic.

In the post-Arc 2 “Puella Historia” event series, the cast visits various time periods where Iroha and co. have been recording the lives of historical Puella Magi. The following witches and familiars are encountered there, as well as Puella Magi who would've used the following Doppels if they made their way to the present:

ECHO (II~IV)

Minions of the witch of symbols. Their role is to proliferate. The witch of symbols has many minions, said to grow and change shape in accordance with the life force they steal from humans. This type is known as the Hominid Dweller. They grow and evolve through many different stages, using only a fraction of the life force that other witches' minions would use. Their goal is simply to proliferate. Those that grow to a certain stage can give birth to their own minions in turn, even without becoming a full-fledged witch. If you find 1, there's bound to be 30 more where it came from, so you'd better exterminate them before they multiply even further.

ECHO (II)

Minions of the witch of symbols. Their role is to proliferate. The witch of symbols has many minions, said to grow and change shape in accordance with the life force they steal from humans. This type is known as the Bird Dweller. They grow and evolve through many different stages, using only a fraction of the life force that other witches' minions would use. Their goal is simply to proliferate. Those that grow to a certain stage can give birth to their own minions in turn, even without becoming a full-fledged witch. They assume the shape of a bird, and poke around at just about everything while vibrating their brains-- a unique world of development that humanity could hardly hope to reach.

KOMATSU (Master: Tsuyu Mizuna)

The Doppel of divine punishment. Its form is a straw warrior. While the master of this emotion wishes for a bountiful harvest to provide salvation to her people, her heart also secretly hosts a self-serving desire to restore her family's authority. As if to express its master's hidden wish, this Doppel uses straw burning with the flame of desire to smoke out its enemies, and uses its rigid limbs to trap and prey upon them. Even its master's attempts to stop it won't halt its brutal onslaught, as it continues to seek out and hunt the prey it requires to increase its own value. Once all the straw burns away and the Doppel vanishes, only a ghastly landscape is left behind, but a scant few beautiful wildflowers also seem to remain.

KOGETSU (Master: Chizuru)

The Doppel of avengeance. Its form is a vacant monk. As she gazed at the hands with which she cut down her beloved friend, the master of this emotion closed her eyes, in order to continue viewing the memories that had become impossible to realize forevermore. This Doppel is a round jewel of fantasy that sprang forth from her obscured field of view. It is filled with clouds of memory that spill forth from its skin, and sweet, fragrant flowers of joy. Its core is a fruit that none must ever touch; those who approach it are viewed as mortal enemies by the dragon, which devours them and reduces them to filthy ink. If one were to lock eyes with the being that peers out from within the jewel, the Doppel's hatred would strike through their brain, leaving them vexed by an unstable mind for some time.

The witch of symbols. Her nature is revelation. A witch who simply continues to proliferate herself, as if charged with an inexorable duty. Because she has no consciousness, her place of origin and age are unknown, and she has never thought about what she wants to do. She simply obeys the hollow behavioural instinct to proliferate, working together with all of her previous offshoots to replicate herself ever further. But because she has no intent beyond proliferation, she's easily stamped out when discovered, no matter how many of her there are. Thus, prosperity for this witch is still a long ways off.

APEBIS (Master: Ebony)

The Doppel of skepticism. Its form is a vulture. From the moment that the master of this emotion was born, she has been forced into a life of servitude to the Pharaohs. But upon realizing that other ways of life exist, she was wracked with conflict. This Doppel continually emits fluctuations in response to that conflict, and creates doubt in the hearts of those around it as it propagates the fluctuations with its wingbeats. These doubts quickly balloon into various opposing poles-- joy and sorrow, hope and resignation, veneration and contempt-- thus calling forth further chaos. As this chaos reaches its breaking point and overflows, it drags everything down with it into transience and uncertainty.

DREKKA MINNI (Master: Olga)

The Doppel of loss. Its form is an empty ship. The master of this emotion bears a hollow heart due to the loss of her younger sister, who was raised together with her like two joined trees. She wanders aimlessly in search of her missing other half. Her Doppel thus carries its master on an endless journey, with a destination that both does and does not exist. Only the master can board the ship. Should any others approach it, the surrounding waves will swiftly swallow their hearts, dooming them to merely follow in the Doppel's wake like ghosts.

BLOT (Master: Gunhild)

The Doppel of estrangement. Its form is a shipwreck. The master of this emotion is suffering from significant mental imbalance, as the heart of her elder sister-- raised together with her like two joined trees-- has begun to drift away. In response to the destructive impulses produced from this imbalance, her Doppel will brutally thrash and destroy anything and everything that approaches it. Whenever it manifests, it ceaselessly rushes across the dark ocean in search of prey, until the deep, murky emotions comprising it are put at ease. However, no peaceful rest awaits it after doing so.

BLOT

The witch of shipwrecks. Her nature is a dream gone astray. Her field of view extends in all directions, and she spends her time merely attempting to swallow any targets she perceives. Those who are swallowed are sent to her vast, hollow back, where a seemingly-endless nothingness awaits them. This witch's actions are driven by a deep, dry thirst, which she attempts to soothe by absorbing the dreams, hopes, and other feelings of "anticipation towards life" from those she devours. But her hunger never ends no matter how much she absorbs, so she simply continues to aimlessly wander, like a fallen leaf atop the ocean.

The witch of symbols. Her nature is revelation. A more mature form of a witch who simply continues to proliferate herself, as if charged with an inexorable duty. She has grown rigid wings and become able to dance through the sky, as well as gained the ability to watch over 3 eras. But much like her immature state, her only behavioural instinct is to proliferate herself. She now unconsciously attempts to eliminate risks, and sometimes behaves as if to warn her other selves of danger, but the immature versions of the witch can't grasp her intent, so there's no point to it at all.

VIMALA UPADANA (Master: Heruka)

The Doppel of zealotry. Its form is a sutra. The master of this emotion has lost sight of herself during her efforts to save people, and heavily depends on the zealous faith she receives from those around her. As if to embody its master's obsession, her Doppel races across the land to bestow divine providence on those who seek salvation, thinking itself to be garbed in all the karmic fires of this world. But far from being saved, those who witness its form have their eyes burned by its intense light, and are enveloped in flame. The Doppel believes this immolation to be true salvation, and its master's obsession prevents her from looking back, so she carries yet more new karma upon coming to her senses.

MAGATSUMONONUSHI (Master: Toyo)

The Doppel of corrosion. Its form is a giant snake. The master of this emotion is tied down by the ideal image that she desperately attempts to reach, in order to become closer to the mother that she admires, and sees a reflection of this in her Doppel's form. The Doppel grows from its master's limbs and is entwined with her nervous system, thus robbing her of the ability to move. When it senses someone experiencing mental pressure with its keen sense of smell, it bites them and begins to corrode them with its venom. None can escape from the venom, but they will forever be free from the pressure that was upon them. Having thus witnessed the very destruction and slaughter that she abhors, its master becomes even more tightly bound by the curse that surrounds her, but the Doppel will never realize this.

CASSANDRA (Master: Amaryllis / Junia)

The Doppel of prophecy. Its form is a scale. By viewing her scale-shaped Doppel, the master of this emotion is able to see people's futures. In order to guarantee that its prophecies are objective, this Doppel is mainly composed of inorganic materials. One of its plates is engraved with a symbol meaning "hope," and the other with a symbol meaning "despair". The plates hold the respective weights of the lives that can be saved versus the lives that cannot, but since nobody other than its master can see them, few people listen to its master's prophecies. Such is the curse bestowed upon the one who prayed to "save everyone," but killed her own maidenly heart in exchange.

The witch of symbols. Her nature is revelation. A more mature form of a witch who simply continues to proliferate herself, as if charged with an inexorable duty. Once she realized that it was pointless to announce danger to the versions of herself in other eras, the witch finally comprehended her situation, and became able to watch over 5 eras with her foot planted firmly on the ground. She has now learned how to properly guide others. When she sees a potential moment of growth for one of her other selves in one of those 5 eras, instead of alerting them to danger, she steals control of their body for just a moment and urges them in the direction she wants them to go.

(Meanwhile, the present-day Witch of Symbols takes advantage of the cast’s efforts to recombine Iroha’s lost essence, growing into an even larger form as it recombines itself alongside her:)

The witch of symbols. Her nature is revelation. A more mature form of a witch who simply continues to proliferate herself, as if charged with an inexorable duty. In order to raise her parent witch to supremacy for the sake of proliferation, this witch has decided to feed herself to her parent. In order to make herself into the supreme meal, she has manipulated and consumed many other witches herself. The now-mature witch floats upon golden wings, can watch over 7 eras, and has even balanced out her essences of yin and yang to become a perfect dish with no peculiar or outstanding flavors. The lofty sound of her trumpet is directed towards the parent witch who gave her the gift of life.

The witch of symbols. Her nature is revelation. A witch who attempts to bring herself to the pinnacle of prosperity, while interfering with every era in the dizzyingly-long line of history leading to the present day. By interfering with the system that overturns the fate of Puella Magi and absorbing its world-covering membrane, the witch's body has become a single massive city that spreads across the land, and her Labyrinth is vast enough to engulf the whole Earth. She is now only one step away from suffusing herself through the past and future, making herself into the only individual that exists in any era. The last step is to absorb the power of infinity into herself, but because she can no longer move around on her own, she's forced to rely on her own offshoots.

CAMPANELLA (Master: Yachiyo Nanami (Historia ver.))

The Doppel of ticket-taking. Its form is a weatherwheel. The master of this emotion has inherited tiny hopes from the past, and has practically become a legendary being. Her Doppel has grown larger in proportion to its master's inherited hope, and has matured into a heavy stone building as if to represent the weight she carries. The Doppel is impatient to be released from this weight, so it's waiting for an opportunity to make hope a reality by unleashing its maximum power in one huge, instantaneous burst. Its disproportionate power is strong enough to control even the weather, so if this were to occur, the ensuing storms and volcanic eruptions would surely change the landscape into that of a newborn planet. Its master, who can sense its endless power, is thus constantly keeping watch to prevent it from stealing control.

Creatures from miscellaneous events after Puella Historia:

“VILLAIN OF CHAOS” RUMOR 　A Rumor duplicate of Hanna Sarasa, created by Mikoto Sena shortly before breaking away from the Magia Record and going on the run. Since she's based on Hanna's behaviour after Mikoto died, she can use hypnosis magic by default. Due to an oversight in the wording of her Rumor, she literally "feeds on" negative emotions.

“ENDLESS MIRROR” RUMOR 　A Rumor meant to serve as a vessel for Mikoto Sena, created by her shortly before breaking away from the Magia Record and going on the run. Traps people in a mirror dimension if they try to search for Mikoto.

　After Hanna and Mikoto run out of energy and pass away for good, Nemu removes their respective Rumors from her book, as a show of respect for how they chose to go out.

WINCHESTER (Master: Rumor Mikoto)

The Doppel of seclusion. Its form is a mirror. The master of this emotion refuses to accept the loss of the person who she must convey her feelings to. This Doppel only houses beautiful memories, and is constructed from prisms that shoot light in every possible direction. The form of her loved one is hidden in the light, but the Doppel itself is unable to find it. After much trial and error, she reflected herself into the mirror in an attempt to peek inside, but all that was left was her own symmetrical form. The Doppel grows heavy with impurity as its master's depressed feelings collect inside. When its emotions overflow, light bursts from its illuminated prisms, and those who witness it will have their hearts instantly stained with darkness.

PEEPING CASTLE TOWN RUMOR

"My, have you heard? Who'd you hear it from? The Peeping Castle Town, and the Rumor thereof! Take one quick leftward spin around Mizuna's old castle town, trot up the stairs, clap your hands in prayer… Then peek back through your legs at the town, and say "hello" to the houses of ye olden days! If you spend too long staring, you'll get dragged right over to the other side! It's a rumor that ALL of Mizuna's history nerds are talking about. Come one, come all!"

HOMULILLY

The witch of nutcrackers. Her nature is self-completion. Her teeth have spilled out, her skull has melted, and her eyeballs too have fallen. Only a promise lies planted in her pitiful head, no longer able to crack nuts, but because she awakened while still inside of her shell, she still bears strong traces of her form as a Puella Magi. Her minions call her a misshapen failure for this, and are quite ashamed of her.

LITTLE GOAT'S DREAM (*“Yagi no ko no yume”)

"A poor, sad dream that a gentle-hearted girl saw in a corner of this night. Fill your big head with the stuffing of your pillow, wet with self-loathing, and cry and wail as much as you like tonight. The dancers alone will take your hand."

LITTLE BEAR'S DREAM (*“Kuma no ko no yume”)

"A poor, tearful dream that a lonely girl saw in a corner of this night. Fill your empty belly with soft cotton stuffing, and dance around selfishly as much as you like tonight. The dancers alone know who you are."

ADELBERT

Minions of the witch of rose gardens. Their role is to surveil. When they find a human, they emit a bell-like warning noise and headbutt them mercilessly. They have 20/20 vision. They came to Kamihama from a place called Mitakihara, in order to guard the landscaping minions who likewise serve the Witch of Rose Gardens. They almost got wiped out by a fanged, red-haired Puella Magi along the way, but since their group only consisted of minions with no witch, they were lucky enough to escape her wrath.

GISELA

The witch of silver. Her nature is freedom. She lurks in a Labyrinth that moves at high speed, but the witch herself is extremely sluggish. She's unfortunately unable to use any sort of scientific power. Her whole body once gleamed with dazzling silver, but she became terribly rusty while gazing at the shoreline at sunset.

ROBERTA

The witch of birdcages. Her nature is rage. She loudly stamps her feet inside her cage, raging at all the things that never came true for her. This witch is extremely fond of alcohol, and her familiars are likewise extremely flammable.

ICHIZO

The witch of nighthawks. Her nature is to escape. This witch fled from a terrifying darkness. This witch fled from a blindingly-bright hope. This witch fled from those who she couldn't save. This witch fled from the future where she was meant to be saved. Up to her very last moments, this witch was unable to accept the part of herself that fled. She continually flies throughout her Labyrinth, her sights set on the mirage of a red star. But her wings and self-conception have melted like mud, blotting out both past and present, with all objective and meaning now lost. This witch is both there and not there. This witch does not connect with anyone else. She drowns all others in mud, and eliminates all individuals besides herself. Nobody is able to bestow anything upon this witch.

(*Kuroe's witch form from the anime, who appears as a boss fight when Kuroe breaks free from her Doppel during her, Yuu, and Shii's event. Her description in the anime booklet was simply: "an ugly hawk with wings of mud.")
