They called it the Night of Skyfire.
That night... the night when the tyrant king was driven out and away, and the throne taken back by the rightful queen... no one knows what truly happened. No one was there to see it.
But everyone saw the sky-bright flames that exploded outward, bursting high into the night, flickering and crackling up until the sunrise. How those same flames tore away at the warehouse and factories that had replaced the heart of the city, reducing their steel to naught but ash.
The queen, in the years since, has transformed the site of the Skyfire's blast into a lush and verdant park, the soil of which is clean and pure and used to restore life and revive the green across the city. That park - Jewel Park, as it's called - is the crown jewel of the city now. Hence the name. But...
Something happened there, twelve years ago on that night. Something we still don't understand.
We still have no idea what the Skyfire was.
We have no idea if it could come back.
