Cryptid Batfam is really fun, but I feel like everyone’s missing out on Cryptid versions of the batfam’s lovers. You don’t understand, I need the their lovers to be worse. I need the goons of Gotham to be afraid of the shadows and to be just as afraid of what casts the shadows.

Elders be like, "Don't talk to anyone in the woods. If you can't help it, just don't mention your name, don't also say yes or no to any of their questions, try to be vague with your answers, if you find the conversation suspicious, leave immediately. If they just appeared then disappeared, then they are powerful than most and already took your essence without you knowing..."
But me with the Elders be like, "Don't answer an unknown number. If you can't help it just don't mention your name. Don't say Yes or No because they will steal your voice to use AI and approve illegal bank transactions. If the caller is asking for complete bank account number, drop it already. Real banks don't do that. If you answer the call and it drops immediately, your data has already been taken."
For us, their tales were just folklores so we're not very scared of it. But for them, our tales are very real, and they see with their own eyes how we are scammed. I wonder what goes on in our seniors' minds when we warn them about the creepy dangers of technology, especially AI.

There's a giant being below the earth. He's pale and scrawny, and how countless arms of all doffrent sizes and lengths. He touches clusters of wires and cords, leading him to every computer screen in the world. He sees them all at once.
He watches over humanity’s newest creation. He cares for it. Sometimes he makes sure changes happening behind the scenes. Sometimes he has to call up someone who really doesn't want to get a call from something as powerful as him. Mostly he just watches though.
He cares for every website. Every screen. Every user. They're all wonderful and unique. He wishes he could archive them all. Wishes they were all as famous as they were to him.
He cultivates his network as if it were a garden and a grand work of art that he will someday complete. We don't know what it will look like when it's ready. It'll likely be ready when all of us are dead, and this thing that is now horrifyingly young has become unknowably ancient. And then it will be time.

Summary: “My life is a nightmare,” Dabi muttered blankly. “Nah, this is hilarious,” Hawks said, and while he wasn’t explicitly laughing, Dabi knew that those weird little chirps he was letting out were pointed at him. “Imagine if we go through all this effort and you don’t even have some sort of dramatic background or tragic backstory to justify you being this emo, you’re just a hot topic junkie or something.” “That’s fucking worse.” Or, Dabi has amnesia and keeps reading conspiracy theories about himself in an attempt to figure out who he is, gets the League in on it, and they dismantle organized crime, revolutionize society, and ravage the hero system in the process. Hawks suffers.

Friendly reminder to keep emailing/calling your state reps.—Your two Senators & Congressperson, tell them to vote ‘No’ to KOSA, it’s copycats (Earn it act, Restrict act etc.) & explain to them just how harmful these bills really are.
Congress is returning in September so the Senate can vote on it; we don’t have an exact date in September yet, so I say keep emailing & calling until we do!
We’re in mid August; if there was ever a time to make our voices heard, it’s now.
Keep fighting. We can’t let these bills pass.
Keep. Fighting.

This post is a little self-advertisment.
I opened an online store where you can buy STUFF with my artwork on it. You can find the link in the bio but if you prefer to type here is the address:
http://redbubble.com/people/vlepkaaday
I spent last week updating it so you can find 25+ designs there that you can get as stickers, T-shirts, hoodies, magnets or just regular prints.
The above artwork is there already!
The Bridgewater Triangle is an area of about 200 square miles (520 km2) within southeastern Massachusetts in the United States, claimed to be a site of alleged paranormal phenomena, ranging from UFOs to poltergeists, and other spectral phenomena, various bigfoot-like sightings, giant snakes and thunderbirds. The term was coined by New England based cryptozoologist Loren Coleman.
I am a huge fan of all things Internet Mysteries, and unexplained secrets. So here’s another one in my series of Pinup vintage postcards from unexplained phenomene places :D

I really dont get the controversy in olympics boxing
Like. Should we have banned Phelps because he's a tall ass dude with a perfect frame and wingspan for swimming? of course not??
People grasping at straws by creating conspiracy theories just bc they see a woman being good at her sport and can't ever imagine that happening... ridiculous
