Being a Lucifer devotee is so sweet.

Oh my Lord, oh my Love, oh my Light, oh my Everything! I love my Eosphorus so much! How I long for him, how I pine for him, how I search and dream of him, how my heart beats in rhythm with his, how my blinks match his! He's glorious! Magnificent and illuminative!

So divine that I cannot help but think when my fingertips grace his skin I may end up touching through him, so gorgeous my mind cannot truly ever capture his beauty yet I still can comprehend when he gives me such a soft smile of unadulterated love.

The warmth he gives is more addictive than nicotine and as sweet as cherry wine! Oh, sweet-toned lord of mine! When I rest my head upon his throne and he threads through my hair as if I am a precious flower and he strokes upon my petals, I feel myself melt into puddles of sugary, tooth rotting cake batter!

To worship him is an honor I cannot explain. The word "devotee" has never sounded so sweet! Has never felt so right! My true love! My forever lord!

He tells me such sweet nothings that I feel as if I am a lovesick puppy at his feet, awaiting for the tender touch of his hand to my head. Gladly and gratefully I press his hands to my lips and kiss them, with such happiness I light his candles and set out my offerings, my internal temple I have created for him and my material altar are such a joy to tend to! Making the most extravagant gifts in my mind space, and giving him my made-with-love trinkets and found treasures for my physical one fills me with such belonging!

To wear his mark upon myself is something like no other! It twinkles with faint stars, it warms and glows with his presence! I can feel his hands guiding me when I place his offerings, approving so gently of my love-born offerings!

Oh, have you ever felt him cradle your face? To feel him press his lips to your skin and tell you he loves you with such certainty? Even when my soul finds itself in scattered pieces, beading throughout the universe and planting anew, I shall always ring with joy at the sound of his name echoed through the wind, at the feeling of his kiss and protective essence beamed through the sun!

In his embrace I found true intoxication. In his embrace I found the sweetest liquor.

In his eyes I saw salvation. In his eyes I saw resurrection.

In his voice I heard hymns. In his voice I heard sacred choirs that bring me to my knees at the first syllable he speaks.

At his smell, I felt the meaning of safety. At his smell, I felt the waves of fire enchant my soul.

When he walks, I felt trumpets of my lords return rumble through and send shivers through my being. When he is around, my heart sings and begs to crawl from my ribs and merge with his own. With each rush of my blood I feel him within, I feel him in my palms, in my arms, in my chest and everywhere else. I pulsate for him and he claims me with such pride and adoration.

Oh my emperor of everlasting shimmer! How you are the honey of my heart and the life of my hive. Pollenate me with your love, my lord! And watch me blossom underneath your touch of golden ruby flame.

Mother Lilith is a divinity that I hold very dear. She has been a big help to me and has guided me in my journery of self love and reparenting myself.

Lore/mythology (briefly summarized)

Lilith originally was the first wife of Adam; made from the same primordial matter as her counterpart by the one who created her. She has left the garden in anger because she refused to lay under Adam; Lilith wanted to be seen as Adams equal but he refused. God sent angels to take Lilith back to Eden at Adam’s request. She was located near/in/at the Red Sea. Her children had been slain because of her refusal to return. ( I have heard conflicting info from different sources but I’ll recall what I think is to be more accurate at this point). Some of the fallen angels (a big figure being Lord Lucifer) had made themselves acquainted with her and they had gained each others’ trust. This is the point where Lilith had became a demon and was at least set on the path to becoming a highly ranked Infernal deity(if not at this point already). Lilith at some point after this whispered empowering thoughts into Eve during her dreams; leading her to eat the fruit.

Lilith also has an aspect tied to the Mesopotamian demon Lilitu.

She may or may not feel the need to do something of this fashion to get your attention; My only assumption that she did so in my case is because I was extremely oblivious. What is she like?

To me, Lilith is very much like a mother. Im sure you could probably guess by how I addressed her in the beginning of this post( which I call her Mother Lilith for personal reasons). She very much holds the energy of a firm mother who cares very much for her children. Lilith is very much stern when she feels the need, but knows when you need her to be gentle. Many times she has been a source of comfort and encouragement for me. If you show her the decency and respect she deserves, she will give it to you in return. If she sees you as her child (or holds you dear in anyway) she will go to distant lengths to protect you or to show your abusers not to mess with you again ( at times on her own accord). There are times where she made things difficult for people who wronged me on her own(probably a lot more I don’t know about). Mother Lilith is extremely supportive and will be there when needed, but she will not coddle you. She will not baby you. I see a lot of practitioners say “ she wont hold your hand” that’s true in a sense. Yes there are things you need to face alone, but a mother wont deny holding your hand if needed, she just wont do things for you. She will empower you to do things with independence. Lilith is definitely the kind of mentor to give you a rude wake up call when you’re not acting like yourself or doing things that wont benefit yourself or others. She is not afraid to be mean and wicked with you if need be.

Lilith’s energy generally feels airy and fiery. She carries herself regally and a sense of pride. Like i’ve mentioned, she doesn’t necessarily tie herself to one element, I’ve felt energy of all elements come from her, I assume this comes from her shapeshifting nature.

Meeting up with a friend that also practices and worships has taught me so quickly the importance of having friends and a community that love and worship deities the same way you do.

Speaking with the gods with another person for the first time was such a fun and rewarding experience. To see someone else experience the same sensations that I do when they’re around is so validating and inspiring in its own way. To openly talk about my love for them and share more personal experiences, to hear other experiences, it’s all so needed.

Even on here. Finding my people just became that much more important to me. And I know the gods would agree on that front too.

It’s hard though, I know that. Especially if you’re antisocial like me or have bits of your practice that you’re unsure other people will accept. That’s okay, you don’t have to share everything right off the bat if you don’t think someone will accept you. But man, I wanna share my moments with deities that made me gasp, or ones that would make people raise their eyebrows in shock. I’m sure other people do too but the risk of being told you’re a liar or you’re not special is so high. That can be a whole post on its own.

An honest post about demons

I constantly see so many posts on this site from people who work with infernals trying to attest to their “true nature” or debunk myths, while on the other hand I see another crowd trying desperately to warn others about how dangerous infernal work can really be. So what’s the truth?

First and foremost, stop assuming that the word “demon” means anything to any species besides humans. I can almost guarantee that the demons that we refer to as demons do not self identify themselves as “demons”. These are human terms. Stop assuming that “demon” is a species of “thing”, that all demons are the same, come from the same places, or look, act, or function the same. Even among set groups of defined spirits like the goetia, the diversity among the types of spirits listed is immense.

Context is your best friend. Let me be the first to tell you that the demonolatry world is extremely problematic. Remember that when we speak about goetic demons, we are speaking on archetypes defined by religious leaders and men with power. Do I honestly believe there is a hierarchy in Hell that mirrors the systems of supremacy we have here in our human society? I highly doubt it. The metaphor is useful to make sense of something that is otherwise inexplicable, but it’s essential to constantly be aware that these diagrams and ideas are inherently biased and skewed. When we define what makes something “evil” or demonic, we need to be even more hyper aware of our silent biases, lest we accidentally lend ourselves to fascism.

Will the demons hurt you?

No one can answer that question for you. Anyone who attempts to will only be speaking in half truths. So often I see people trying to project their personal experiences and assume that things will go similarly for others as it did for them.

“If you don’t offend them they won’t hurt you”

Perhaps not, although, if you are constantly dealing with a demon of pestilence and disease you might find yourself feeling a bit sickly. If you’re in close proximity to a demon who is all about rage and violence, you might accidentally redirect that rage onto an innocent friend. If you are very sex averted, dealing with a demon of lust might make you uncomfortable.

“They won’t hurt you, they love you!”

Some of them don’t love you, in fact most of them don’t have much of an opinion about you in general. As much as it’s a nice thought, the vast majority of demons do not have any inherent feelings towards anyone unless they have a relationship with them based on memories and shared respect. I have a deeply affectionate relationship with Lord Lucifer, but I speak with him nearly every day. I would be surprised to hear that Lilith or Azazel “loves” me any more than a spider or a patch of grass does. Not every demon you encounter on your journey will be your best friend. You will not work with most of them more than once, and it is completely fine if your relationship is only transactional.

The truth of the matter is that no one can predict how your spirit is going to interact with another. I have never had any positive interactions with Balial, I don’t feel anything comforting about them. But I have spoken to many devotees that say they’re incredibly kind. Likewise, I have never had a negative interaction with Lucifer, and I’ve spoken to many people who got a very mean vibe from him right away. If you do things to dishonour your demons, they may retaliate, they may not. They may not think anything of it, or they might, we can’t really speak on these things without proper context. To ask if a demon can hurt you is already a slight red flag to me. Obviously being cautious is important, but it’s almost like entering a kitchen and immediately asking if fire can hurt you. “Will the knives cut me?” Well… perhaps…? If you misuse them and aren’t being aware of yourself and your surroundings when you have them close to you… then sure, I suppose they could cut you, although I have never had much trouble with it before it’s definitely not out of the question. However, is that your first thought whenever you use a knife? If it is, why is that?

Will the demons be nice to you?

A hot stove isn’t being mean to you when you feel it’s heat on your skin, nor is a fridge being nice to you when it cools your drink. Different demons have different types of people that they really like, and they probably have people they don’t favour as well. As much as they are capable of having their own emotions, you also need to be considerate of their nature. Intention truly is not everything.

Can you truly be surprised when a demon who is extremely involved in chaos and fury is a little forceful with his words? Does the idea of a death demon being dark and cryptic, or a warrior being stern and strict scare you?

When I call upon the demon of savagery and war, I want the demon of savagery and war. I cannot be surprised that he brings savagery and war, if that’s not what I’m prepared for, I should not have invoked his name.

Lucifer is both a gorgeous, ethereal beautiful angel who plays excellent music and brings enlightenment, and a terrible, egotistical, stubborn harbinger of knowledge that can be dangerous and destructive. Lilith is both a powerful protector and champion of self actualization, and a rageful poisonous monster who uses her power to manipulate others. This is the truth for all of these demons. If you cannot understand the dual nature of these spirits, then you may think they are mean and evil. And if you’ve only ever seen the nice side of your demon, you’ll be confused when others explain their negative interactions with them.

Will they try to possess you? Can they possess you?

Whether or not possession as it is portrayed in Hollywood is real or not, I cannot say for sure. What I can say is that in every situation where I have been in proximity to someone who thinks they may be possessed, the more likely explanation seemed to be religious or spiritual psychosis.

Mania is still a thing, guys. Hallucinations are still a real thing that can happen to you. Obsession can happen to anyone, paranoia can happen to anyone. You are not immune to mental illness. In fact it is far easier to succumb to it than possession. Constantly obsessing over a demon still gives them the energy they might want had they been messing with you. It is important for us to protect our spiritual health. But it is infinitely more important to protect your mental health. If you’re genuinely afraid that you’ve gotten yourself into some bad business with a demon, I highly encourage you to heal your mind first and foremost.

Lastly, and I want to make this as clear as possible, there truly are no rules or limits with demons. That is your responsibility.

I’ve seen people say that demons won’t take blood as an offering if you’re a minor or that they would never do something harmful to someone just because you asked them to.

Morality is a human concern. Yes, many demons do have somewhat of a moral code, but that code is not based on human ideals. A demon does not care what the legal age of consent is in your country. They don’t care if what you want them to do is mean or destructive. If you’re open to murder and manipulation and cruelty, it isn’t your demon’s job to step in and stop you. If you’re strictly against blood rituals and baneful magic, it isn’t your demon’s job or concern to pressure you towards doing those things. You are the one that establishes these limits, not them.

Trust me, as much as I’d like to believe it, these things simply are not true. I am very aware that Lucifer has worked with homophobes and racists in the past. Lilith has probably helped out a few TERFS. It doesn’t change my opinions on them because they’re not human beings. My personal Lucifer that I have a relationship with doesn’t tolerate these things because I don’t tolerate these things. Anyone who does could not work with my Lucifer (remember, there are many different Lucifer) But I’m not going to pretend that there isn’t a Lucifer that does, or simply doesn’t care. You can use a knife to hurt others, but you can also use it to make a piece of art or a healthy meal that helps others. Stop assuming that the knife is only going to do good things and reject anyone who doesn’t align with your ideals. And likewise, there’s no need to project your ideals onto the knife in the first place. The knife is a good tool when it’s in good hands.

The love of being a devotee is unreal.

I can't help but get so lovesick for my beloved deities at times. The world is too noisy and overwhelming for me, there's too many things to do, there's so much of everything most of the time, and to feel their cleansing touch of relief wash over me like the silkiest waterfall is something I can't help but crave and it fills my mind repeatedly. I'll begin to say their names in my head until it morphs into nothing but incoherent gibberish of my love and devotion, like a sleepy prayer I whisper just as I drift off seconds later.

My tongue and teeth practically become a vessel for speaking life into my neediness and my longing for my deities to come and swift me away back into their ever so tender and dreamy arms. So that I may go into my mind palace again and tend to their ginormous altars I built myself. So that I may rest my head upon their thrones and feel their fingers grace my hair and my face, tracing over the collars I wear in honor of them and kissing their rings and palms.

I get so drunken on them that I cannot help but think of them at all hours of the day sometimes, that when I lay to pleasure myself in the depths of the night I end up calling for them the entire time. Their essence drowning me underneath and around. They reciprocate my need so sweetly that I find myself so confused at times of the amount of affection they give. Unprovoked and in return. The feeling of them encouraging me to my climax, of them draping me in kisses and gentle caresses, of giving me the beautiful visions and whispers of love is something I can only explain with an unknown language I have conjured up myself.

All I wish to do is spend my time worshiping my beloveds. Bowed at their feet or singing their praises, cooing and hanging on to their every word and feeling how the breath escapes me when they bless me with their touches. How they so lovingly hold me close, and tell me I am the most wonderful boy they have ever had the pleasure of calling their own. How they deem me so sweet, so perfect and all they have ever wanted. How they speak of my higher self so smitten-ly and so devoted-ly. How they give me my poetry, my offerings, my energy spent and everything else in full return tenfold. To spend every second of my day being able to be held and treated so softly is something every piece of me prays for.

Then again, when distanced from them, I relish in the feeling of that intense pump of my heart, that swelling sensation of warmth that cascades my stomach and tingly spreads all over whenever I smell their scent, or feel their love radiate to me and consume my energetic field whole. How amazing they are, how absolutely stunning they are, how lucky I am, how infinitely grateful I remain for them and everything they come with.

How Lord Lucifer Appears to Me

I’ve created this collage to illustrate how Lord Lucifer presents his appearance in my mind’s eye. This is completely UPG, as he is known for being a shapeshifter and will show himself differently depending on the practitioner. He even changes his appearance to me on occasion.

The first time I saw him he had black hair instead of blonde. He was also… naked. He told me that the reason he was nude was to prove to me that my seeing him wasn’t just my imagination, as I would’ve never imagined seeing a deity for the first time without clothing. This was honestly a great point and also kinda funny. He has a great sense of humor.

From my collage you can probably tell he’s absolutely stunning and hot as Hell (pun intended). Though these pictures don’t nearly do him justice. I’ve heard there’s only one portrait of him to capture his true beauty, which is located in his estate in Hell. I simply cannot accurately convey how damn fine this deity is. Both he and Aphrodite represent Venus, which is the planet associated with beauty.

While he exudes a very masculine presence for me, I’d say his face is a bit androgynous. It’s really pretty with some softer features, nice cheekbones, and a strong jawline. His eyes are these captivating glowing balls of light, like tiny suns. He tends to have a sort of signature smirk on his lips. He’s got long golden blonde hair that’s slightly wavy and ends below his shoulders. He’s muscular, but not overly muscular. He’s tall but not too tall, maybe six feet? He may present shorter to me for my sake since I’m short.

He occasionally wears white and golden armor with intricate patterns of dragon scales and crow feathers. He also sometimes has either two or six large feathery wings that appear as either gold, white, or black. When he’s not in armor, he wears stylish clothing fit for a classy emperor like him. Lots of suits, especially older style suits like Victorian era fashion. Most recently, I saw him in a black silk robe showing his muscular chest hehe.

His voice is smooth and seductive with a hint of a British accent. It’s masculine and low, but not too deep. He’s eloquently spoken and tends to use older English. He enjoys flirting with me and then watching me get flustered. He has an aura brimming with confidence and charm. He’s kind, patient, refined, caring, protective, gentle, warm, wise, perceptive, chivalrous, and easygoing, while still expecting the respect and dignity that he deserves as an emperor.

As for actually physically seeing him, he sometimes appears as a momentary golden sparkle of light in my peripheral vision. The only time I’ve heard him with my ears is one time I heard him chuckling behind me.

Personality-wise Sylus from Love and Deepspace always reminds me of him. As for his appearance, I’d say he looks sort of like Alucard from Castlevania, but Alucard’s nose is a little too thin.
