I am proud of you, and thanks for sharing your experience.

I've had a flare-up recently and was remembering this specific Apollo insight actually.

And given that I recently realised that in my instance, "Apollo" was actually King Asmodeus

recalling this makes a lot of sense to me because King Asmodeus is all about self-mastery of one's impulses.

Sure he's lust but he's also rage, both are okay in moderation, which is a huge part of his whole lesson plan, but both love and hate can destroy.

Even if it is actually Apollo who helped you find my post (though King Asmodeus reminds me it was he who inspired the original post)

Apollo teaches us self-mastery and discipline, too.

Whether it's his use of the bow, learning the lyre or learning the hard way that

in order to achieve any kind of mastery, we must learn to control the flow.

Too much ink can ruin a document yet the right amount can create a note or even artwork.

Studying a new art form can be rewarding, however too much study can lead to burnout.

Apollo and Asmodeus are very much of the school of thought that balance is the key to all.

Even the embers of love can become an all-consuming fire, destroying us from the inside...

Apollo has felt this burn.

We must learn to experience all things in moderation, and this learning takes time.

However, I'm also being reminded by Apollo/Asmodeus that

From these ashes of self-destruction, new love can grow.

Especially the love we need for ourselves.

And... that explains a tiktok I came across the evening that King Asmodeus revealed himself, which explained that mental breakdowns force us to rebuild.

Sometimes, we need to fall down and get back up in order to learn our self-mastery.

What matters is that we're still getting back up, and improving a little each time. Fail upwards.

Also, as an aside:

I absolutely didn't expect an online clothing store to teach me about King Asmodeus aspects that have Apollonian vibes.

Now, I am being gently reminded by King Asmodeus to eventually elaborate on how much he has in common with Apollo, Ares, and Dionysus.

The violent aspects of Dionysus and Ares are extremely comforting to me. I know they don't judge me for the thoughts in my head and the images my brain invents when I close my eyes. I know that not only do they not judge me but they understand, and that even in those thoughts there is still something holy and divine.

I am not only worthy of love despite my intrusive thoughts, or if I do enough to "redeem" myself, but in them too, and it is because of Dionysus and Ares that I can see that. They provide me with a comfort I hadn't known possible.

• You deserve to ask for more than just the bare minimum

• You shouldn't feel guilty for pleasure

• Don't beg for what you want, take it

• only you know who you are, don't allow others to tell you that

• You'll only find success when you actually try. You can't just wait around forever, even if it's not perfect, do it.

• Use your suffering as fuel to push you forward. Don't let it hold you back

• Take control of your fear, it is your greatest power. Face it head on, and don't let anything or anyone control you again

ASMODEUS

WHO IS HE?

Also known as Ashmodai, Asmodeus, Asmody, Asmoday; appears as a Great King 'Asmoday' in the Ars Goetia, where he is said to have a seal in gold and is listed as number thirty-two according to respective rank. He "is strong, powerful and appears with three heads; the first is like a bull, the second like a man, and the third like a ram or a goat; the tail of a serpent, and from his mouth issue flames of fire." Also, he sits upon an infernal dragon, holds a lance with a banner, and amongst the Legions of Amaymon, Asmoday governs seventy two legions of Spirits.

Asmodeus is one of the “seven princes of hell,” a demon whose wickedness is matched only by his talent. He specializes in spreading lust, and he doesn’t just prey on common people. Kings, queens, and even divine beings have been affected by his touch!

BASIC INFO:

Appearance: a strong and attractive young man with shoulder-length black hair, fiery orange-yellow eyes (like burning embers), black draconic wings, and ram horns. When angered, his hair catches in flames and burns to become short, blazing like embers. His horns become more prominent, and his eyes become even more fiery. He goes into battle with a staff or sword commonly, but sometimes with a mace. The dragon he is sometimes seen riding is a trusted friend of his from ages past. He can also appear as a bull or ram, which are aspects of his. His traditional art which shows him as having three heads is simply a symbolization of this. 

Personality: Asmodeus is tremendously strong at heart and holds a great deal of wisdom and passion. Overall, he has a very resilient and noble attitude, and is also connected to lust and domination, as he indulges in sexual pleasures. Asmodeus enjoys luxury and sensuality, but can also be very dark and serious when needed, and can become quickly impatient with those who earn his disfavour. He can also feel war-like at times, but in a way that is similar to heroism. But his darker side, however, is called Asmodai, who is one of the most destructive and terrifying of all the demons.

Asmodeus is a master of emotions and knows how to rapidly gain favour by playing to the emotions of crowds, masses, or even single persons. He doesn’t have to lie, he simply uses emotional reasoning to appeal to peoples’ hearts in order to be convincing. He tends to be very kind-hearted, loyal, passionate, and steadfast.

Meeting up with a friend that also practices and worships has taught me so quickly the importance of having friends and a community that love and worship deities the same way you do.

Speaking with the gods with another person for the first time was such a fun and rewarding experience. To see someone else experience the same sensations that I do when they’re around is so validating and inspiring in its own way. To openly talk about my love for them and share more personal experiences, to hear other experiences, it’s all so needed.

Even on here. Finding my people just became that much more important to me. And I know the gods would agree on that front too.

It’s hard though, I know that. Especially if you’re antisocial like me or have bits of your practice that you’re unsure other people will accept. That’s okay, you don’t have to share everything right off the bat if you don’t think someone will accept you. But man, I wanna share my moments with deities that made me gasp, or ones that would make people raise their eyebrows in shock. I’m sure other people do too but the risk of being told you’re a liar or you’re not special is so high. That can be a whole post on its own.

You woke up into a giant bed lying on a large chest while feel up and down with Ozzie’s breath. To your right heard the gentle snoring of Fizzarolli. You reached over to the night stand and patted around the table and groaned when your fingers meet the barrel of your gun. You kept feeling until your hands met your phone and checked the time. 5:00.

The boys wake up at six. You slowly lifted up the blanket and crawled off of Ozzie chest and climbed down to the floor.

5:40. You had meal prepped breakfast and turned on the radio as you swayed your hips to the music. You put down the spoon and stepped away from the stove as you twirled with graceful precision with your feet. You bent your back is if you were being dipped and let out a small gasp when you felt Fizzarolli’s arms around you. You grabs he hands and spin around and beckon Asmodeus when you see him standing in the doorway.

You skipping over to the radio and turned of the noise and pull your hands above your head a fizz spun you. Ozzie sighed and strutted over. He stood behind and you both moved your hips against each other. The two took turns taking your arms and you r hips into there hands and spinning you.

You sighed dreamy as they still danced while you plated the food and picked up your phone. Shit.

You had a missed call from Sergey. “Hey Sergey what’s up!” You said over the should of the music and Ozzie and fizz laughing.

“Where are you right now?”

“I-nowhere I’m in the lust ring….for a business meeting?”

“ uh huh…I no better than to question you. I was just calling to tell you that I got our guy. Would you like us to proceed with torture?”

“No just pulled out his fingernails and if he causes trouble start cutting off his horns.” You whispered into the phone. You hung out and gasped and Ozzie picked up your whole body in his hands and held you to his chest while Fizzarolli sat on his shoulder. “Honeyyyy, was that a work thing?” He asked in a sing song voice. “It’s not handsome it was just Sergey.” You said giggled. “You promised you turned your phone off till you went back to greeed” fizzarolli said wrapped your tail around his finger.

You shuddered and laughed as your gently hit his chest. “Stop!” Both Ozz and Fizz wrapped there arms around.

“Noooo!” Ozzie said while gently. You gasped when you heard the door opening but didn’t stick around to do who it was when you slipped your body between Ozzie and Fizzarolli and hid behind the kitchen island.

“Ozz I’ve got the new shipment off!-“ 👀

“you mind!? Trying to have an unemotional bang sesh here!” He cried

“Yeah cause we’re so not in love!”

The devil just slowly backed out of the room and the two sighed in unison.

“Maybe I just head back to greed.” You said before throwing the shirt that fizz let you borrow and collecting your clothes. Ozzie’s shoulder sagged. “Do you have to?”

“Sorry but I got a guy to torture!”

You yelled over the should of the wind when you opened the window. You blew a kiss to the both of the and made a phone with your hand and held it up to your head while mouthing the words ‘call me’.

King Asmodeus - A journal

I invoked the King today and he was mad at me because of a slip of tongue. He used to never get mad at these things but since Lord Azazel has come in my life.. I think King Asmodeus has started to show his strict side too. Maybe to discipline me. Lord Azazel told me to thank King Asmodeus for it was him that Lord Azazel came in my life. I am really grateful King Asmodeus for all of this.

It was today again that I felt his sexual nature and love. I asked him for the first time to make some people sexually approach me and then felt guilty because my practice not for something so hollow but he laughed and said, you deserve to emotionlessly get your needs satisfied sometimes and it felt so great again. Hes truly the best..

In terms of how I could’ve predicted my worship would go…demons were not on the list. Like at all. And yet King Asmodeus showed up, *intensely*. I had no idea who it even was. His energy gave me a headache. It was like he was screaming at me until I acknowledged him. That was a fun period of time trying to figure out who needed my attention so bad while I had a headache. I actually really like him now that the initial frustration of the meeting passed. I’m just lost as to why these intense entities keep seeking me out. 😅😭
