city people are fucking freaks, why do you hate life so much?

id much rather people be taking their pets out in public than their children but god forbid i say THAT out loud.

i cant do fuck all about my migraines when children start screeching in the middle of the grocery store but people who are allergic to animals can take pills for it if they know theyre leaving the house that day. obviously dogs should be well behaved so they're controllable should someone with a service animal be around, but thats common sense and common decency but like.....why do yall city folk gotta pitch a bitch fit about shops being dog friendly? or restaurants letting dogs be on a patio? or god forbid a theatre having dog hour???

like say youre from the city without saying youre from the city by throwing a tantrum about the fact a stray cat sat in the open kitchen door at the cafe. yall act like its a health issue but then never wash your hands or wear masks. as though anyone who doesnt live in the center of a city doesnt have about 13 mice in their walls at any given time as it is. animals in public is the least of anyones problems and it shows a real lack of understanding at the divide that capitalism and colonization in the west have caused between humans and the planet we live on when people complain about animals having the audacity to exist in public spaces. oh but i bet yall laugh at the fuckin videos of a seagul stealing a sandwich from the grocery store. (no i dont think dogs should be allowed in grocery stores unless the placement of stock like unwrapped veg is raised since allergens ingested can be a trigger regardless of medication, but a dog would have to actually lick the fruit or veg itself for that to happen, and if its not cut open already most dogs wont since the smell is different)

i really cant imagine being that far up my own ass that you think every dog you pass is going to bite you and yet crossing the street and getting hit by a car isnt even more plausible????? lmao and whered you get the idea anyone would kill a dozen homless people for the sake of a dog?? like girl you're drinking the peta koolaid for real or just making shit up to boost your point??? thats just NOT A FUCKING THING outside of like...seattle?? the homeless population tends to take better care of their animals than every suburban white woman ive ever met, and their animals are in public at all times!!!

I hate hate hate hate how dog friendly everything is in the city now. Barring medical necessity, there is no reason to bring your dog to a restaurant, there is no reason to bring your dog to the grocery store, there is no reason to bring your dog to the nail salon. Dogs do not need to go everywhere you go why am I being forced to be around dogs all the time

Small Moments

Another pack that was made for the lovely @southernsimmin. ❤️ These were intended to be affectionate moments between a parent and their teen child, but I think they work just as well for couples, friends, siblings, etc (remember there are no teen rigs, so teen Sims can use adult poses and vice versa).

Pack contains seven couple poses for use with a three-seater sofa, and five free-standing couple poses. All-in-ones included.

Made with masc and femme rigs and, as always, there may be clipping or floating depending on Sim body type/clothing. There is a small height difference included. If you use height sliders in game, poses will be misaligned.

No expression overview because I made these a while ago, didn't take close-ups at the time, and couldn't be bothered to take 24 of them now. 😌🤣

[StarWars AU] [Citizen Din/Master Luke]

Din Djarin of Aq Vetina

So, I let my imagination run wild, and here’s another Din Djarin AU!

What if young Din was still saved by a Mandalorian, but later reunited with his parents, who somehow survived the attack?

Din’s parents helped gather other survivors on Aq Vetina, rebuilt their home, and were chosen as governors. Din grew up learning about his own culture and became a promising young man who assisted with his parents' work. One day, to protect the newborn autonomous region, Master Luke Skywalker was assigned to Aq Vetina to act as their Jedi caretaker, and Din was given the responsibility to help Luke settle down.

Here are other settings for Aq-Din:

1. Din didn’t become a Mandalorian

So Din wasn’t trained, which resulted in his gentle and soft personality. He kept the mythosaur necklace given to him by the Mandalorian who saved him, it’s the only beskar Din has.

2. Din wears traditional Aq Vetina clothing

But I made it look more luxurious and ethnic with gold, shiny stones, and beads. I also created a custom where young people must wear a veil until they get married or reach a certain age. (I don’t want that veil to become a symbol of shame for those who don’t want or can’t get married, so they can simply remove it when the time comes. The veil is just for aesthetic purposes, like a peacock spreading its tail for courtship.)

3. Arranged marriage

Another custom I made up is that Aq Vetina people get betrothed at a young age, it’s not mandatory, but some traditional families still follow this rule, including Din’s. Furthermore, as the son of governors, Din was betrothed to another prominent and wealthy family for political reasons. Although Din doesn’t want this, he accepts it for the greater good of his homeland, until a Jedi master shakes his determination.

4. Claustrophobia

I always imagined Din having claustrophobia and a fear of darkness due to the experience of being hidden by his parents in that storage. I know this is a weak assumption because Canon-Din’s spaceship is confined as hell🤣, but my Aq-Din can have claustrophobia, which becomes a hindrance when Luke attempts to take Din away from the planet.

5. Heavy accent

Din is not proficient in standard language, so his communication with Luke is often somewhat clumsy, which may cause trouble at times, and he speaks with a heavy accent! (I have a thing for accents…🫣💕)

i’m not gonna make this an in depth post because, baby, ion got the time for that. but lemme go ahead and tell y’all, my babies, how i just got new family members!! now, i know that sounds like i just went to target and bought them but y’all know what i mean😭 so bear with me, please and thank you.

so for some backstory: i originally come from a family of 5 including me, my mama, my daddy, and my 2 sisters. my dad is a hypocrite and a yeller (can’t stand a yeller). my mom likes to gaslight, my older sister also likes to gaslight and is one petty mf. and my little sister always tryna act like she older than me and ion like that cause, sweetheart, i’m twice your age.

so what’s new?

their personality and looks—they’re completely different people. i only wanted to change their looks because it was weird to imagine them as these new personalities because, their faces are just so deeply associated with those old personalities. so i was like lemme alter them according to these new personalities.

the execution.

as some of y’all may or may not know, i live in a different state than the rest of my family because of college. but i’ve been coming back to texas this summer quite frequently to visit them and my childhood friends. i fulfilled my imagination before i got on the plane to houston, literally while in the airport, so when my parents picked me up that’s when i physically saw they had reflected my imagination. and i later on saw my sisters too.

when?

this happened within 5/6 hours. and i was not in the slightest bit shocked. when i saw my parents the first thing that popped up in my head was “oh okay rae! we materializing shit quick i seeee” 🤣 the thoughts i be having, you’d think i was talking to someone fr. i really am my own best friend😂 i love it here!

I find this topic relentlessly fascinating for some reason. 

I grew up in a Sunday Best family. Both my parents were in choir which had a no-denim mandate and my dad was a deacon. Our pastors always wore full suits and most of the congregation dressed up.

As an adult I’ve become more Sunday Best Lite. I have no problem wearing jeans to church now. I do still avoid leggings, sneakers or flip-flops, and shirts with logos on them. Basically anything that draws extra attention to its own name and not Jesus’s Name. I also have to keep up with my kids now which means I have to make some concessions for practicality.

I think church has become more casual across the board, at least in the Protestant/Baptist-ish circles I tend to travel. Some of it might be regional too. Nobody would have dreamed of wearing shorts at the church I went to as a kid, but I don’t judge anyone for wearing shorts in July around here 😂

Today my oldest and I are both sick so I’m watching church at home in leggings 🤣🤣 there are exceptions to every rule!

EA Male Toddler Hair Catalogue

I've said this many times but again, I am disappointed with how much lack of content we have for base game. Not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to buy all of the packs, or simply don't want to buy them as they aren't keen on the items. Whatever the reason I definitely think EA needs to add a few more base game hairs, not only for toddlers but all age groups!

So with that being said, and me struggling with finding nice toddler hairs to download I decided to pick out my favourite male and female toddler EA hairs and convert them to base game so that everyone can have them if they choose too. I'm fortunate enough that I own all of the packs, including kits but I know alot of others arent.

I'll be personally leaving these in my game as I literally only ever have the custom content tag on in CAS and forget the EA hairs are even there, the same applies with clothes 🤣

I'll be bringing out the female toddler part next week when I have the time

I'll leave a list below of what each hair is called and what pack its from incase you only want to pick out the hairs that you dont have the packs for. The names of the hairs are the ones EA has called them. I'm aware some creators may have brought out some of these hairs, but honestly with how many creators there is in this community its impossible to keep track of who's done what
