So by Jiji’s determination, he really wanted to see it.

Jiji looks at you with a face of utter shock, your laugh gave him the same feeling as making a newborn baby giggle. However once she leaves you alone, with you curling your stomach on floor from the tickle pain, you immediately get back up and straighten your face in embarrassment. As Momo sits herself back down next to Jiji, she raises her hand in a “mission accomplished!” But he was still mesmerized by what he saw.

we know jiji is a social butterfly, so i think he'd absolutely rock being a street interviewer. think of tokyo sims, except it's just a one man show, and it's jiji trying to pick up girls and (for once in his life) failing horribly.

jiji is tremendously hot, but only to the teenagers that surround him. in a high school setting, one is more likely to fall for someone who they're around constantly, or, settle for finding the 'school hottie' in order to survive the semester. outside of school, though, jiji is a hottie, in an intense competitive market of hotties.

he starts off with okarun's help, with him being his cameraman. his charisma is insane, and he picks up a following quickly. the people he interviews (which 9 times out of 10 it's women) find him quite odd and subtly laugh as his attempts to flirt, yet let him down nicely. his comments are filled with messages like "i wish i would encounter him irl" or "why is he always getting rejected is this scripted?? he's so cute"

except for one comment. yours. scrolling through your for you page, you find one of his interviews in which he asks a girl if she had ever been cheated on, with her saying yes. jiji goes onto this monologue about how he wouldn't, and asking for her number in the process. and he succeeds! for the first time. so you type out a comment.

"good luck girl, he looks like he ain't even allat 😭😭"

and waking up to around 50 comments proving you otherwise, you also find a dm. it's from jiji's personal, private account, who sent you your comment with a "wym i look like not allat lemme show u" and it leads to your first internet friend, jin enjoji.

and he suggests a date to prove you wrong. with his newfound fame, he's also found some cash that could definitely be spent on you. his words. you decline, because you're not easily moved by material goods. so he suggests you pick an activity, because congratulations! you officially piqued jiji's interest, and have him never asking another woman for her number in an interview again.

and his fans notice it way too quickly. they saw him at a park with 'some really pretty woman' and, since he's not too famous, decided to call it a day, no photographs or anything. but his comments were switching up, saying "why isn't he asking for numbers anymore" or "flirty jiji we miss you!!!"

but jiji is on a mission: to be yours, and yours only. because as much as he is a flirt, he's never been one for easy love. it would take months of him begging and scheming for him to finally ask to be your boyfriend, and for you to say yes. because you denied his other attempts before. he pops the question during a quiet (?) cooking date at his place, where he and you attempt to cook steak.

on his next street interview, people can hear a slight giggle from the camera as he asks questions to another girl, and in his caption, it reads: "got another cameraman so she can see i'm loyal" and it has fans questioning who the lucky lady is. unfortunately for them, only the interviewees can see who you are, because jiji absolutely cannot zip his mouth shut when it comes to bragging about you.

okarun is an overall awkward guy in giving you compliments. before he could say to you ‘you did a good job!’ all he could muster were stammered words as you were standing there waiting for at least a sentence to come out from his mouth. though if he was in a difficult situation where him and you are in a fifty-fifty scenario— well be ready as he will continuously say every compliment about you, how a good person you are— caring and so on and so forth, before turning himself into a gloomy version of him and decimate every enemies in your way. those aside, he is more observant than you anticipated. he would often notice small details that others miss, like ‘i like how you tied your hair today. it suits you.’ he is also a polite guy, so expect a lot of formalities from him even when you two are together.

his words are really flattering which always catch you off guard even if he has done it to you multiple times. he also likes to be really unique with his compliments, like, ‘you’re pretty like a triple-layer cake!’ ‘what is that supposed to mean Jiji?’ ‘nothing!’. he is basically creative in complimenting that not only it could make you blush but also make you laugh. his goal is always to make you smile so his compliments are often humorous, even nonsensical but it always leave you blushing.

MOMO

her compliments are down-to-earth. she is never over-the-top praise, but when she does compliment, especially to you. she would say ‘you’re really cute in that outfit!’ or if she is flustered, she would just give you short compliments and act awkward around you for the whole day. she isn’t used to showing affection properly but her short yet sweet compliments always made your day.

ZUMA

he is more of a nonchalant side of giving a compliment tbh. a pretty chill guy. if you’re together, he’ll look at you seriously and say ‘you look beautiful today.’ despite looking like a gangster and acting like a gangster, his respect for women is on top, whenever he speaks to you it is always kind and sincere even when his face shows seriousness. after he compliments you, he’ll go right back to what he was doing like nothing happened.

A new student was introduced into my class, his name was Jiji Enjoji. He’s vibrant, playful and flirty, i did think he was attractive but due to recent events..I’ve fell out of the love game. This school is the worst possible place to find love, all the guys are either players or they’re ridiculously rude. Innocent girls mind their own business and they are bothers by some stuck up guy that nags them about their appearance. I didn’t want to be apart of that fake relationship cycle.

Although love was something beautiful to day dream about, it was nearly impossible for me in this state, in this school.

I walk to my lunch area, a quiet secluded space away from everyone so i wouldn’t get harassed and i could listen to my music or quietly study. However, nice things don’t last forever..

A group of guys walk over to my area, i hear one of them say “trust me guys this is the best spot, no one comes here! It’s perfec-.” the guy looks at me and sighs. “Well one person won’t hurt, i guess it’s fine to stay here.” The guys sit at my empty table, one of them being Jiji who’s the light of the group. As i shyly sit, slightly eavesdropping into their convo i can hear Jiji crack funny jokes.

To my unfortunate surprise i let out a chuckle, “see? Even cutie over here is laughing!!” Exclaimed Jiji. ‘Cutie? Me?’ He scoots over to me and looks at what I’m doing “Whatcha up to cutie??” I was doodling on my paper with a bit of work on it here and there. “Nice drawings! Rad, super!!” He sang to me while making a silly face with his fingers in guns. I give him a soft smile, almost letting a giggle escape my lips. One of his friends checks the time to blurt,

“Woah guys we have 5 more minutes, we need to head back to class our lunch is almost over!!” They all look at each-other before getting up and stretching to walk away. While the group walked away, Jiji turned around to look at me,

“Cya later cutie queen! You rock gurl!” He flashes winks, giving me a peace sigh while walking out.

Is he being genuine?? Me, cute to him? Every girl basically fawns over him. But then again, he’s like this to every girl. I can’t get caught in my feelings, i can’t fall into the same loophole i can’t…

I head back to my homeroom and i sat in my seat with the remaining few minutes before the teacher comes back, and the same materials i had at lunch. I continue skimming over the pages and all the tiny doodles and drawings i made. Until i hear that voice. “Ayyy cutie queen you’re in here too?? Whatsuppp!!” Everyone looks over at me, then Jiji. He takes a seat next to me and starts to yap uncontrollably, I’ve never had this happen to me before at all.

The class begins, we’re now learning history. I jot down a little notes while paying attention enough to retain good information, but i hear whispering next to me.

“Hey…hey pretty.”

I ignore it, keeping my eyes straight on the teacher. That was probably someone else, not my problemo.

“Cutiee…~” Dear Heavens. I turn my head slightly, from the corner of my eye i can see Jiji leaned towards me. “Hey queen…can you help me with this problem? You look super smart!” He whisper yells, but the teacher catches on

“Jjii, is there something you’d like to share?” He snaps back into his seat, giving a nervous look at the teacher “No- not at all!!!” I side eye him, he gives me a side eye as-well, him signaling that he needs help. When the teacher finishes their lecture, we are finally able to chat. “Everyone please discuss with your partner about the questions, this must be finished before the end of class!”

We were also allowed to pick partners, and out of everyone Jiji picked, his friends, a beautiful girl, he chose me. Probably for answers i bet… i look over to him giving me a sly look, like this emoji ‘😏’

“SOoo cutie!! Wanna be my partner?” I look to the side and see all the girls looking confuzzled. “Why them..” they whisper “i want him to work with me..!” I nodded my head in agreement, not like i really had a choice anyway. I’ll just give him the answers and get it over with, i really don’t want to grow attraction for him. He’d just use me.

I explain the questions to him, and he’s actually locked in. He understands the situations and answers the questions in complete perfect paragraphs with evidence needed to prove as-well. We turn in our assignments right on the bell, we walk out of class and i try to pick up the pace, he wouldn’t follow me. But oh he did.

“Let me walk home with ya! You know thanks for all the help cutie, you really helped me understand the benchmark a little more. You’re awesome!!!” He cheered while winking at me.

I finally say my first words to him “you’re walking with me..?” He looks over to me with a big smile “Of course! A cutie needs her special body guard.” This is so weird! We make it to my place and i just give him a wave. Although it was time to part ways he grabs my shoulder. “Hey, could i get your digits?” He gives me a trustworthy look, blushing a little. I think i might actually start to like this guy. He hands me his phone i type and i type in my number, i hand it back to him and his grin gets even larger.

“Welp, cya tomorow cutie queen!!” He makes his way walking off and i make my way into my home. While Jiji walks home, he experiences this odd feeling. He places his hand on his chest and grips it, crimping his uniform. His head down as he speed walks, sweat dripping from his forehead, blush filling his face.

Normally he doesn’t feel this way for anybody, but something about you was different. Not your looks, or your personality, he could just tell you two would get along. A bit much to where he would develop feelings

Your phone dings, right about when you head to bed. You look at your notification seeing its from an unknown number.

You smile, already knowing who it is. I wonder how life is going to be with a new ‘friend’. Then the delusional intrusive thoughts start to flood in “i can make him mine.” You hit your head and flop onto your pillow, were just friends…

Sitting on his lap with each leg placed comfortably beside his as he sat on the soft mattress, you gently but generously applied lipgloss over your lips once again. "Don't look, alright? I'm watching you," you murmured, teasing the poor guy as he nodded, kepping his eyes tightly shut as you had instructed. By now both of you had lost count of how many times your lips had clashed together in a sweet dance, or how many times you had applied lipgloss over your soft lips, or how many times, due to his nerves, Ken had guessed the flavor incorrectly, making you reapply it once again and try over and over until he got the flavor right.

Having lipgloss wasn't just good for whenever you wanted to feel pretty, it was also good for teasing the hell out of your poor boyfriend, like right now, and you couldn't be more taken by the sight of his reddened cheeks as he patiently waited for you to say he could open his eyes again.

He nervously fixed his glasses over the bridge of his nose despite having them shut in a nervous gesture before speaking in a shaky and rather high-pitched voice. "A—are you done... yet?"

With a loud popˎˊ˗ of your lips, you set the tube of shiny gloss behind him on the bed and grin. "Yup, all ready." His eyes flutter open, and he fixes his glasses once again with timidity. His eyes meet yours as he does, but then, they fall to the culprit of his nerves, of his almost sweaty palms. He swore he could feel them begin to sweat, he swore it. And it was terribly embarrassing. Takakura gulped, and before he could say anything, you leaned back in, pressing your lips against his.

His hand moved up to cup your face shakily as he closed his eyes once more, and even though your lips felt like heaven itself and he oh so badly wanted to get lost in the dizzying feeling they caused, he made his best efforts to focus on what flavor you had reapplied on them just for him this time.

After a good minute or two, he pulls away, breathless and in slight awe of your kiss. "Is it... Cherry?" He whispers, trying to guess correctly.

"We already used the cherry-flavored one, pretty boy," you say with a teasing smile, and it makes him avert his eyes, hoping you can't notice just how embarrassed you make him feel. "L—let me try again..." he mutters bashfully, already leaning forward on his own. The hand on your cheek moves to hold onto the back of your head tenderly instead. It's sweet and gentle, almost like he's afraid to touch you too harshly and accidentally hurt you. He'd be mortified if it happened, that's for sure.

His lips move against yours with sweetness, and despite how nervous he feels, he makes sure to let it be known that he loves this by kissing you slowly and taking his time. Takakura's lips are surprisingly soft, making them addictive and so, so kissable. You feel his round glasses touch your nose as he tilts his face to the side to deepen the kiss slightly.

With furrowed brows in concentration, he mulls over about the flavor in his head. "They said it's not cherry... but... I'm not sure what it is." He tilts his head to the other side and gently leans forward. "Maybe... strawberry? Or grapes? It's so soft... their lips feel so nice..." he pulls away again, this time more confused than before. "I... are you s—sure it's not cherry flavored, (y/n)?" He mumbles tentatively "I—It's very sweet."

"I'm pretty sure. But... if you give up, I'll tell you." Takakura blinks and instinctively tries to look behind him at the small collection of flavored gloss you hid from his view but finds his face gently being guided back to face you. "Nuh-uh, that's cheating" you pout, and he nods, flustered by your gesture. "R—right, I'm sorry, I—I just can't... get it right." he stutters, scratching the back of his head.

"Well then, it's a good thing we have aaall day, right?" You smirk. "Let's try again."

After repeating the process of closing his eyes tightly, reapplying your lipgloss, and kissing once again, Ken pulls away, breathless, a small string of saliva connecting your lips. He wipes it away quickly, feeling his hands shake with embarrassment. "I— I think I got it" he quickly speaks, looking to the side. "Is it— Is it peach... maybe?" He squints, an eyebrow raised hoping to finally get it right this time around. His heart is going to explode if he doesn't; he can feel it, beating like a bird trapped inside a cage.

Clapping your hands together a few times in applause, you grin. "Yeah, you got it this time, Okarun!"

"N—no way!" He smiles brightly with excitement, but his cheerfulness is quickly replaced by confusion as he shakes his head. "Wait, really? Peach flavor? That... that's not what it tastes like."

"Well it's an artificial flavor, it's obviously not going to taste like the real thing" you flick his forehead playfully with clear amusement in your voice. He rubs his forehead, letting a soft "ow..." and looks into your eyes. "H—How many did I guess so far?" He smiles sweetly, and you can't help but realize how adorable he looks each time he does.

"Hm..." you look behind him at the ones you've already used "seems like we only tried four different ones" you answer, and his eyes widen comically.

"Four?! Just four?!" He feels his face heating up again and he gulps nervously. "But we've been here for a really long time!" He looks at the clock on your bedside table, which shows the numbers 5:34 p.m., you've been kissing for a whole hour already...

You laugh at his bashful reaction, finding it endearing. "What, you don't like kissing me for that long, Okarun?" You tease, obviously not meaning anything by it, but he's quick to shake his head.

"N—no, it's nothing like that! I really enjoy kissing you" his hands had moved down to gently rest over your hips "it's just... I don't know, I guess it's just really embarrassing..." mumbling softly, Ken looks away, avoiding your gaze.

"Well... if you need a break we can take one. Just say the word" you cup his face in your hands and stare lovingly at him, a gaze he returns just as intensely.

"N—no... I can— I can keep going. I want to keep going. I really... enjoy kissing you, (y/n)" he admits, and your lips stretch into a wide grin.

"Well then, let's keep going, shall we? We have like eight different flavors left for you to guess!"

"EIGHT?!" Takakura practically squeaks, but as he sees you grab a different tube of lipgloss, his eyes fall closed. "You're going to make me pass out" he stutters a protest, but in all honesty, despite feeling like his world was spinning each time he kissed you, he found it was a rather beautiful way to go if he did happen to die thanks to the embarrassment. He could keep kissing you for the rest of his life, nothing else really mattered at all.

Ken “Okarun” Takakura is a socially awkward guy with an all-consuming interest in anything related to the supernatural, especially cryptids and aliens. Some people may think he is too much to handle because he’s a nerd or his appearance is a little off-putting, but he’s used to that after being bullied throughout elementary and middle school. He can handle the taunting, the jeers. It’s nothing new to him.

But when he hears a nasty rumor being spread around school about you, his precious girlfriend? Momo is going to have a hard time keeping him calm and will definitely drag you away from class as a last resort to revert the transformation into his yokai form. Good luck with handling an extremely overprotective boyfriend, especially if you unintentionally get caught in the crossfire of whichever ghost or alien are targeting him for his reproductive organs.

He doesn’t know why everyone is after his junk, so please do not ask him that question.

You are important to Okarun, so his happiness is your happiness.
