If parenting has taught me anything, it is the importance of getting down on your hands and knees and teaching not just facts, but love and enthusiasm for the natural world.

This is my son Q and me. I have dozens of photos like this by now, even though he is just two years old.

Every chance I get, I will kneel down with him and show him the little creatures all around us. Especially when they are frogs. He loves frogs for some reason. No idea why.

It is important that we all see this together. It is beautiful. It is magnificent. We are here. It is improbable to the highest degree. It is fleeting, but it is everything we get. And we can get so, so much of it. If we just get our faces into it and really absorb it.

So that's what l'm trying to do here, I guess. Get all of you to join me in the reeds. And I am so happy to have so many of you along for the journey.

in danny's defense: the word "freak" is. a mini beserker button for him for.... obvious ghostly reasons, so like, even if its not directed at him, he still very much unappreciates Martinez's insults at Battinson. Danny may or may not be projecting.

he's not going to hurt the guy! not in any serious or permanently disfiguring way at least! But he is going to leave mean sticky notes on the square part of his spine that he can't reach, and stick salt in his 3AM Late Night Crime Scene Coffee, and kick the bottom of his heel while he's walking so he stumbles. And other petty, infuriating things that tally up and boil over, over time.

a video of tim and steph is making rounds with different media outlets, it’s literally just tim teaching steph a skateboarding trick

but a bunch of the outlets are claiming she is a pick me because the video shows steph falling over, tim laughing, and her tugging him down with her, and then them play fighting

in retaliation all the brothers painted ‘pick me’ on shirts and it was the only thing they all wore out for six months, and steph posted a video of her also wearing a shirt, landing the trick, then flipping off the camera with a shit eating grin

I love the meeting room in the Ordos so muuuuch. Everyone have their own chair with their little names on it. The colors don't match the aesthetic, for some reason this person is sitting on the table and this guy over there has a whole ass sofa and you can see a glimps of all their different personalities through these fourniture.

The fact that no matter how out of place a chair looks like in this serious and dark setting, they still keep it that way. This is so Family coded to me

today i have been kind of like oh god the tasks are endless and consuming -- the tasks are not endless and consuming, the tasks just all involve detailed organization and aesthetic curation which are talents i was not blessed with and skills i have never cultivated so i've been staring at various shelves and boxes of art supplies like Now What all day. at least the art supplies i can kind of muddle through with the help of pinterest but the curios, which i've been stuck on for like two weeks, are like ok is it visually balanced to put two novelty barracuda pucks next to the laughing buddha. the barracuda don't really make me feel zen tbh. at least with christmas decorations i put off so long dealing with that now i can just put them up ig...not sure it's the best use of my money to buy a teal colored christmas tree but what if it is :/
